A universe where in large cities there is a overpopulation and breeding problem.

Which leads to abandoned feral kitten Luffy desperately attempts to steal from a high class restaurant after his two older brothers have dissapeared for several days.

The plate he choses to steal from happens to be Crocodile's, it goes about as well as you think it does.

It's only by luck that day someone had planned to poison the food served to the fat cat which resulted in Crocodile owing Luffy from a humiliating night as the he is well versed in poisons.

Taking in the kit there is a lot to work on due to Luffy being feral at his age. So, obvious shenaniganery is going to ensure.

Who knows how many weeks ago I found the CrocoRosi ship and read some fanfictions about them... and oh my.

There was those kind of stories where they met at Marineford, Rosinante still a marine, Crocodile already as a shichibukai. I checked the ages and the years but I am not sure it could work in the canon story line…still. I really like the idea of them bonding before and after meetings, Crocodile the one who gave Rosinante his first cigar etc… always yearning, but neither of them taking the first step. I really love all the drama so it is not a surprise that these stories always ended bad because well yeah Rosinante died.

Here comes my Impel Dawn au, where Rosinante survived but still lived in prison for 11 years.

I’m going to be 100% honest rn, I first started shipping Crocodile and Corazon purely out of spite. Like, I imagined how Doflamingo would feel about it and that’s all the reason I needed to start shipping it. But then… oh god. It took over my soul. I became cursed to roam Ao3, tumblr, the far reaches of the internet, searching desperately for any scrap of content involving my rare pair. It began to consume me. I’ve lost myself to the CrocoCora/CrocoRosi. And to be honest? I’ve accepted my fate. I only ask that god might give me more fics of Rosinante getting the clumsiness railed out of him. The sky is empty.
