Not accusing, just very very curious

i read an instance of it happening in a book i read as a child that i no longer remember anything else about. it also happened in that one jungle book adaptation movie. mowgli grows up with an albino wolf puppy named bhoot who considers mowgli a fellow outcast bullied by the other wolves, but one day bhoot tries to cheer mowgli up by saying mowgli is his best friend and that they're both just special and there's nothing wrong with that and mowgli snaps that they're not special and that's just something bhoot's mom told him to make him feel better because he came out wrong, and bhoot runs off hurt, and the next time you see him he is a taxidermied, smiling head mounted on a hunter's wall

Ya know, I never asked about the Jungle Book timeline in Spawn but I wanna know about the relationship between Mythri and Shere Khan's Cubs. Is their relationship similar to their own Fathers' Hate Relationship?

If so, then I bet that Shiva must be his Father (Shere Khan) to Mythri's Father (Mowgli) in which The Cubs of Shere Khan hate Humans just like their own Father, right?

Mythri ventured into the jungle after saving little Rakasha’s pup Bhoot. (Yes he’s narrowed from the Andy Serkis version— but this time HE GETS to LIVE). She bumps into Baloo’s cubs who are eager to give her the home tour so to speak cuz Mowgli is considered a hero. Bageera’s cub Rajani thinks having her here will only bring trouble. But no one listens.

Shere Khan’s cubs get complicated. Since he escaped the lava pit by the help of his mate Kali, the pair retreated to the jungle. So deep even the animals think he died. But that wasn’t true. Cuz not long they had three cubs. Shiva was a quiet tiger and had a future mate he’d spend time with. But then she got hunted and stuffed by humans. Upon finding her stuffed body he flew into a rage and ate all the humans at the camp. He swore to kill any human that came into the jungle again. Shere Khan approved. Kali too, and she wasn’t afraid of fire like her husband.

Durga was the more level headed one. Kept he two brothers from getting into trouble. Much like Rajani, she only wishes to keep the status quo. It’s worked for this long and there’s no need to turn the jungle upside down. But she can be a killer tigress when she wants to be. She has more mercy than her mother. But very few have ever escaped her.

And Krishna is the joker of the group. He likes playing practical jokes for his own amusement. He has no respect for rules and finds they get in the way of his “fun”. He’ll roam close to human camps just to spy on them. He’ll stray too close to wolf territory just to make them nervous.

By the time word gets back to them about a new human in the jungle. Shiva is all about hunting this girl. Krishna is wanting to play a trick on her. And Durga wants her gone before she loses more of her family.

"Mowgli? That one?" He asks. "I saw that, and I wish someone warned me. The moment I saw that the hunters had killed and stuffed Bhoot? Yeah, I was ready for war." Puffing out a cursed breath, there was always just something about any movie that showed cruelty to animals that dragged his mood to a new low. "I enjoyed the rest of it, so I tend to just skip over that part now and pretend like it doesn't exist." Smiling, it's a detail he wouldn't usually admit, but with her, he doesn't mind being honest. "I think mine is Pocahontas. Ma' used to play it practically every week, guess I got used to it." He could list some newer favorites, but why bother when it was the classics that always lured him in the most? Taking a gulp from his beer, he raises a brow in amusement. "I can answer that, actually," how his mind works. "Low latent inhibition. You heard of it?" He figures not, most people hadn't, including himself until he was diagnosed. "In simple terms, it means I process too much information, I can't shut it out like other people can. Take the coffee table for example, it's just a table to you, but for me, I think about all the pieces that make up that table, how many screws, bolts, things like that. But luckily for me, I also have a high IQ, which, speaking factually, apparently makes me a genius." Rolling his eyes softly, he can't help but feel like an ass every time he said that. "If I had a low IQ, statistics show I'd have a whole mess of mental illnesses." He shrugs, chuckling a little. "Jokes on them 'cause I've got those too," Riley adds, teasing as he tries not to linger around the word genius.

"Emiri Tezel, if you're asking if I'll serenade you, I absolutely will, it'd be my honor." Grinning, mostly because he wasn't even joking. He was the type to make a whole spectacle of it, just to get her to laugh. "Well I can't deny it now, but just because I'm smart doesn't mean I can't be dumb. Even though I don't think the fact I believe in skinwalkers is dumb at all," he smirks. "If anything, maybe you should take me more seriously. You think I'm so smart, why are you mocking my beliefs?" Feigning a wounded pout, it soon falls apart the second his cheeks split into another grin. "We can work on the 3% some time, don't worry," flashing her a wink, he pulls his arm up and tucks it behind his head, settling into a curious frown. "What robbed me of a full 100%, the mermaid talk or the skinwalker idea? Both? Don't say both. Come on, give one of them a chance."

"Good." Smirking the smugness to her expressions seemed to simmer down, finding herself concentrating now more on Riley than the film currently on repeat. It wasn't like she hadn't seen it a hundred times before anyway. It's a moment of appreciation actually, realising that she probably hadn't seen him smile as much as he had tonight and it was nice. It was almost like she found herself chuckling because he was, the atmosphere felt infectious in a way that was unfamiliar to her and yet she enjoyed it. "The Jungle Book, actually. Did you ever watch the remake? Cried at the end, obviously." She chuckles; it's a fond memory. The reciting of the laws of the jungle at the end of the movie made her howl, while her dad quietly laughed at her with tears in his eyes. Which Emiri to this day would say her dad cried too. It was sad in the way she'd never hear him tell her she was wrong again. Something she didn't realise she missed until thinking about it. "Yours?" She asks, curious also to find out. Smiling she doesn't feel uncomfortable with the compliment, she just wasn't too sure how to take it. More so because she didn't want to read too much into it, at least not now. "Oh.." she's quiet, warmly smiling in his direction before pulling her focus away, looking at the tv briefly. Wondering if he was actually calling her beautiful. Allowing herself to listen to what Riley was telling her instead of overthinking such a small detail, she finds her mind just completely pauses, looking back into his general direction. She faintly hms, brows coming together while she felt a little stumped. "You know what? I'd like to know how your mind works." she lightly laughs, not meaning anything by it, just that he was making her think of something she probably wouldn't have ever had the thought process about.

"As you should," she teased, feeling herself smile more because he was grinning. "You know what? I'll hold you to that." Him playing The Big Bang Theory's theme song on guitar. She wouldn't let that go now he had said it, knowing if she didn't witness it with her own eyes and ears she'd be sorely disappointed and not to mention she'd bug him until he did. "Tell that to your face then," she briefly points at him, smirking, feeling firm on the fact that he was messing with her considering his face practically said he was. "You." she says almost obviously, meaning he was the fool that had told her, without so much as uttering a single word. It was the way he spoke that told her he was smart, the way his mind seemed to work - even if she was only getting glimpses. "Sure, sure, that makes sense." She nods lightly in agreement, knowing she couldn't really argue with that. He did make sense, at least to her. "I agree," that it was depressing to think this was it. "Or I'm at least 97% in your favour." The other three percent being her refusing to believe him and his skinwalkers theory, not to mention the reptiles.

My reaction to watching 'Mowgli of the jungle' for the fifth time and the scene where Mowgli is super fucking rude to Bhoot: "You rude motherfucker! We don't say mean things to Bhoot the beloved!"

I just watched Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle and Bhoot’s storyline was SO UNNECESSARY I just wanted an evening of light entertainment not bawling my eyes out

Just watched Mowgli on Netflix and it was so good. Liked it much better than the Disney version. More grown up, much darker, very thrilling and VERY sad. I cried a lot.

Also Bhoot is my favorite ablino wolf of all time
