How Do You Move Professionally
Tumblr media
Moving can be immensely stressful, nerve-wracking and a time-consuming process.
Whether you're moving across town or the country, there are many things to consider, from packing your belongings to hiring a moving company.
If you're planning a move to Perth, it's important to know how to move professionally to ensure your move is as smooth as possible.
This blog post will discuss tips to help you move professionally in Perth.
Plan Ahead
Making a plan is pertinent to a House move's success. Make a list of every assignment you should accomplish prior to, during, and following the move.
This may include packing, booking a moving company, transferring utilities, and updating your address.
Set a timeline for each task and stick to it.
You can prioritize tasks and consider all that is important with this.
Hire a Professional Moving Company
One of the most important steps in moving professionally is to hire a professional Removalist in Perth.
Look for a reputable company with experience moving locally or long-distance in Perth.
Check their reviews, ask for recommendations from friends and family, and ensure they are licensed and insured.
A professional moving company will provide you with a detailed estimate, a contract, and insurance coverage for your belongings during the move.
Pack Your Belongings Properly
Proper packing ensures your belongings arrive safely at your new home. Invest in high-quality packing materials like bubble wrap, packing paper, and sturdy boxes.
Each box must be marked with the space it originally belonged to and the contents within.
This will make it easier for the movers to unload and unpack your belongings at your new home.
Remember to pack fragile items separately and mark them as fragile. Also,
Before moving:
Alert all of your energy providers, such as the ones for your fuel, water, utilities, and internet.
Arrange to have your services disconnected at your old home and reconnected at your new home on the day of the move.
Update your address with the post office, banks, credit card companies, and any other organizations that may need to reach you.
Take Inventory of Your Belongings
Before the move:
The inventory will help you keep track of your items during the move and ensure that everything arrives at your new home.
Use a spreadsheet or an app to list all your belongings, including their value and condition.
Take pictures of valuable items to document their condition.
Be Present on Moving Day
On a moving day, be present to supervise the movers and answer any questions they may have.
Show them around your home and point out any items that require special handling or that you want to be packed separately.
Also, make sure to check the inventory list and make sure that all your belongings are accounted for.
Unpack Your Belongings
Once you arrive at your new home, unpack your belongings immediately. Start with the essentials, such as bedding, kitchenware, and toiletries, and then move on to the rest of your belongings.
Take your time and organize your items by room.
Conclusion
In conclusion, moving professionally in Perth requires proper planning, hiring a professional moving company, packing your belongings properly, notifying utility companies and updating your address, taking inventory of your belongings, being present on a moving day, and unpacking your belongings.
You can make absolutely sure that your move is as effortless and hassle-free as possible by complying to such recommendations.

Why are so many Kiwis moving to Australia from NZ?
May 29, 2024
In 2023, data from Statistics New Zealand showed a net migration loss of 13,400 people to Australia – the largest annual deficit since 2013. Moving to Australia from NZ is a trend that shows no signs of declining, with an increasing number of kiwi households making the move across the ditch as rising costs associated with living start to bite and better employment opportunities emerge.
In this article we will dive into the reasons more and more New Zealanders are deciding to pack up the house and move to Australia.
Quick Links
How many New Zealanders are moving to Australia?
Why are Kiwis choosing to move to Australia?
What are the most popular places to move to in Australia?
How many New Zealanders are moving to Australia
Net migration from New Zealand to Australia peaked at over 30,000 people per year in the year 2013. Over the past decade the numbers began to stabilise, with annual net migration figures ranging from 15,000 to 20,000.
According to Statistics New Zealand, in the year ending March 2021, the net migration of New Zealand citizens to Australia was significantly lower due to the covid pandemic. As of the year ending June 2022, the net migration from New Zealand to Australia was around 12,000 people, reflecting a recovery as travel restrictions eased and economic conditions began to improve. Last year, data from Statistics New Zealand showed a net migration loss of 13,400 people to Australia – the largest annual deficit since 2013.
Why are Kiwis choosing to move to Australia?
Kiwis are choosing to move to Australia for a number of reasons, which can be broadly categorised into economic, social, and lifestyle factors. This reflects the desire to enjoy better opportunities and a higher quality of life in Australia.
Economic Opportunities Australia offers higher wages compared to New Zealand, making it attractive for Kiwis seeking better financial prospects. Australia is also a much larger economy providing more job opportunities across various sectors, including mining, healthcare, and construction.
Ease of Migration The Trans-Tasman Travel Arrangement arrangement allows New Zealand citizens to live and work in Australia without the need for a visa, simplifying the migration process. This combined with the close geographic proximity between New Zealand and Australia makes it convenient for Kiwis to move and maintain ties with family and friends back home.
Lifestyle and Climate Many parts of Australia offer a warmer climate compared to New Zealand, which can be appealing for those seeking a change in weather. Australia’s diverse natural landscapes and outdoor recreational opportunities, such as beaches and national parks, attract many Kiwis who are looking to enjoy an outdoor Lifestyle.
Cost of Living While certain areas of Australia can be more expensive than New Zealand, somewhere like Sydney for example, overall the cost of living, particularly housing, is more affordable in Australia compared to major New Zealand cities like Auckland.
What are the most popular places to move to in Australia?
New Zealanders moving to Australia are favoring several destinations. These cities are favorites among New Zealanders for their economic opportunities, lifestyle advantages, and the presence of established Kiwi communities, which help new migrants settle in more easily. These are some of the most popular destinations for New Zealanders moving to Australia.
Sydney, New South Wales As Australia’s largest city, Sydney offers numerous job opportunities, particularly in finance, tech, healthcare, and education. Sydney is known for its vibrant cultural scene, beautiful beaches, and iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Melbourne, Victoria Melbourne is famous for its arts, music, and food scenes, as well as its sporting events. The city has a strong economy with opportunities in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and creative industries.
Brisbane, Queensland Brisbane’s warm climate and outdoor lifestyle appeal to many Kiwis. The city is experiencing significant growth, offering opportunities in construction, hospitality, and services.
Perth, Western Australia Perth’s economy benefits from mining and resources industries, providing jobs in these sectors. The city is known for its relaxed lifestyle, beautiful beaches, and parks.
Gold Coast, Queensland The Gold Coast is a major tourist destination, offering jobs in tourism, hospitality, and retail. The area is famous for its beaches, surfing spots, and theme parks.
Adelaide, South Australia Adelaide is known for its lower cost of living compared to other major cities. The city has a vibrant cultural life and is known for its festivals, food, and wine regions.
Canberra, Australian Capital Territory As the capital city of Australia, Canberra offers many opportunities in government and public administration. The city is known for its high standard of living, excellent education system, and green spaces.
Hobart, Tasmania Hobart attracts those who appreciate nature, with its proximity to wilderness areas and a cooler climate. The city is seeing growth in sectors like tourism, arts, and food production.

Haven't watched anything KristSingto recently but he's right
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can think of fanservice what you want. But the moment you want to police or censor it, it turns into something really problematic. And this stance comes from 2 or even 3 different oppinioned sides but they ironically melt into the same outcome.
But at the end of the day most people forget / ignore, regardless of anything, fanservice still helps normalising public queer affection. And let's be real, most of the stuff in those stage and event shows are that... a show or even a performance! Do you protest at your local theater when they have queer characters kissing? Do you notice how this sounds in a sentence? Yes actors are real people and not characters but especially BL actors & idols still perform stage shows and kind of have a public enertainer persona. You notice how different they are on stage vs. in their personal live streams + nowadays most actors are even very honest about just doing fs for show & fun and often genuine (platonic) affection towards their acting partner but don't pretend to be actual dating (and the ones who do will most likely not lightheartedly come out with it like that... apparently there are exceptions but I have not enough insight on them to judge). You should watch some serious interviews or live stream (translations) of your favs now and then maybe to learn more about them and the industry, they are more than just pretty faces... Actors in just my bubble who talked open about the fanservice topic as far as legally possible at least: JamesSu, Perth Nakhun and I guess we can count Pavel and Nut as well.
What fans make out of it is a whole different story.... and one of the reasons people want to shut down fanservice as a whole. But imagine how lighthearted, fun and easy going this whole thing could be if we didn't had all these toxic naive fans who think every interaction is proof of actors dating (or worse: cheating) in RL. That mindset of "we are BL fans of course we are delulu" is not a joke anymore among some of them. They srsly take pride in that... babes you are part of the problem, stop encouraging it!
Then on the other side, being critical of some of the practices of the industry is one thing but it should not lead into backwards queer censoring... but that's what some are swaying to with their "real people queerbait" agenda or getting the cringes when (samesex) people interact romantically or erotically during live events (that's a bit of a you thing my dears. not necessarily in a queerphobic way but in a purity / shy way and that is a you problem to deal with not anyone elses problem)....
And a lot of people don't even understand or get what most people criticise about fanservice and just jump onto the ban-fanservice train. Without understanding the nuances nor the actual industry circumstances. Like one main argument here isn't even true. Lot of people assume actors get forced into fs. Which is not true (source: one of Perth Nakhuns Q&A vids, the 2. vid i think). BL actors usually know what they get into by entering the industry, decide with eo how much they want to do. Now that can still cause internal personal conflicts like one going over board or not playing enough but that's human miscommunication. Or companies can still be bastards but it's unfair to generalise it over the whole industry when we nowadays have companies who give their actors that freedom.
There are still some points to criticise, definitely. Like I personally dislike how MCs and sponsors sometimes treat actors during events or how fans scream at every little move or glance like crazy.... But the topic is a bit more nuanced (as always in this world) than how most people look at it. I just mean it really always sticks out when you talk with people about their reasons why they are anti fanservice that they just repeat after another with no sources or without actual up to date information or only look at it from one side.
I personally am in the middle. I only like fs when the actors have fun with it and are transparent about it. In the end it comes down to actors consent what they want to give to the audience (reason why it annoys me when people write "i feel like i am interrupting something here / am intuding their privacy" the actors consented! they want you to watch if you want to see it! consent babes! it is fine)
(when i see someone coming in with "but Krist is a homophobe" I will bite you. I am not even his fan and already researched what happened back then when I first saw those accusations when I got into BL 2021ish. It is really not that hard to look up the source and reports of people who were live pressent at the time to understand what went down back then. Ya know instead of believing rumors that twist and lie for rage bait)

can you write smt for kyra with that photo of her with flowers as inspo?
Tumblr media
airport flowers II k.cooney-cross
the plan was simple.
you'd told your girlfriend there was a last minute work emergency and you'd need to fly out to melbourne for the few days she was back in australia for national duty in perth.
but really you'd be landing the same day as kyras first match back in australia and would be going from the airport right to the game to surprise her. then you'd also not yet told her with some other tillies help you'd be taking the same flight home back to england with her, when she thought you'd need to be based back in australia for another month.
you'd not seen her in person for almost five weeks now due to your job and with the footballer normally the one to create surprises for you and organise cute little gestures, you decided it was your turn.
to kyras credit when you told her initially you'd be unable to make it to her games or see her while she was here she put on a brave face and as per usual was as supportive as could be.
you worked as the sole social media and marketing manager for a clothing brand started and ran by one of your childhood best friends, having been there on board to watch and help the brand grow since it was just a seemingly silly little idea floated on a drunken night out when you were teenagers.
with kyra starting her pro career off in australia in the a-leagues the two of you had met during her time playing for victory. you'd reached out to her agency about a potential sponsorship deal with the brand and met up with kyra and her team a few days later.
the young midfielder was quite smitten with you and nothing but charming as she'd asked you out for a coffee with the request you show her where the best could be found.
a few coffees and kisses later and you were very happily coupled up, much to your best friends teasings that you were using his company as a means of picking up girls.
then fast forward a little with kyras move over to sweden you split your time between there and back home, able to do the majority of your obligations and meetings remotely not having a 'base' you needed to be stationed at.
now with her setting down roots in england you split your time between there and australia. you now had a small team underneath you and it meant it was rare you were really needed in australia all too often.
like you said the plan was simple, but it seemed the universe had other ideas.
it started when your flight was delayed three and a half hours, leaving you with a very narrow gap to get from the airport to the game before kick off, not for warm ups like you'd planned.
sending kyras sister a message informing her of the above she assured kyra was still in the dark about everything and seemingly in good spirits for the game.
the next hurdle came when your bag never appeared on the luggage carousel, and after following it up with management it became apparent it was left on the tarmac back in sydney where you'd flown in from.
doing your very best to keep a cool head you were informed it would be sent with the next available flight and asked to wait around for that to land...in another four and a half hours.
your patience wafer thin at that point you'd organised for the airport to hold it overnight and you'd come collect it tomorrow morning, a quick check of the time confirming you'd be lucky to make it by the second half.
the third barrier came in the realization that you'd been logged out of your uber account and unable to remember the password you were tearing your hair out as with one wrong attempt too many your account was locked.
so with time fading fast and your mental stability unraveling even faster you hurried to the nearest atm and grabbed out a wad of cash, darting into the small gift shop and grabbing the very last bunch of flowers they had.
these were of course all unopened bar two or three flowers and looked more like weeds, but in your case beggars couldn't be choosers and hailing down a taxi you could finally breath knowing you'd finally left the prison that the airport was beginning to feel like.
watching the game on your phone as the taxi sped toward the stadium, the price growing higher and higher with every minute, you couldn't help but allow your chest to swell with pride seeing just how good your girlfriend was playing.
you hadn't even realised you'd arrived until the driver cleared his throat and you glanced up, the second half having just kicked off you could hear the cheers of the crowd as you opened your door, dropping a wad of notes into the drivers hand and sprinting toward the entrance.
you breathed a sigh of relief seeing kyras mum waiting for you with one of the security guards clearly explaining the situation as the man nodded, scanning your ticket as you were given a lanyard and ushered inside.
there was a cheer from kyras friends and family all of whom you'd met before as you finally arrived, all of you in the matildas family section right above the subs bench.
you gave a wave to charli who stood on the sideline as her eyes widened and a grin grew on her face and she eagerly waved back before turning her focus to the game.
her number called she was subbed in for ellie who tapped her hand as charli raced onto the pitch to screams and cheers. settling back in your seat you fended off the teasing remarks made your way for your very poorly timed arrival and the measly bunch of flowers in hand.
you wiggled into your cooney-cross jersey you'd had in your carry on, finally breathing properly and allowing yourself to wind down and enjoy the game going on.
the matildas were up 2-0 and with sam scoring a screamer from well outside the box and steph delivering a beautiful corner right to alanas head it ended 4-0 to australia with a thunderous roar from the crowd.
you waited patiently as kyra did her lap of the pitch, shaking your head furiously at her teammates who made gestures clearly asking if you wanted them to grab her for you, not wanting to ruin the surprise that the universe had done everything to try and spoil for you.
finally she started to head back towards the family and friends section with charli and remy hanging off either of her sides you waited by the barrier with a smile, both blondes seeing you well before kyra did.
"hey space cadet, can i get your autograph?" you called out, her head whipping around and jaw almost hitting the floor as she tripped over her own feet in her haste to get to you, making the girls around her roar with laughter as her cheeks flushed pink.
"what the fuck! i thought you were in..." kyra shook her head in disbelief as she reached you, your hands moving to cup her face as you shook your head. "surprise?" you grinned, a beaming smile of her own curling onto her lips as she tugged you into a hug.
"i love you." you mumbled into her shoulder, rubbing her back, the midfielder pressing a kiss to your cheek as she pulled away. "you played alright i guess." you sighed sarcastically, grabbing the flowers from your feet and handing them to her.
"yeah thanks!" the girl shoved your head as a small blush coated her cheeks and she spun around to pose for charli with her flowers. "but i didn't see you at half time?" your girlfriend asked, free hand interlocking with yours as she sweetly kissed your knuckles now causing you to blush.
"its a very long story babe."

‘I’ve starred in The Archers for 20 years but could never afford my own farm’
Fame & Fortune: The BBC actor on money mistakes, theatre hecklers, and his 20-year radio stint
Tumblr media
Andrew Wincott, who plays Adam Macy on BBC Radio 4’s The Archers, joined the cast in 2003 (Credit: Gary Moyes/The Archers)
Andrew Wincott is an actor, best known for playing Adam in the BBC Radio 4 drama The Archers, which he joined 20 years ago. After studying English and then doing teacher training at Oxford, the 61-year-old taught for two years before going to Webber Douglas drama school, where fellow actors Hugh Bonneville and Rebecca Front were contemporaries.
He then worked on the regional theatre circuit, and later became a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, before joining the cast of The Archers in 2003. The father of one lives in Clapham, south London.
How did your start in life affect your outlook on money?
My two brothers and I grew up in Oxfordshire where my parents ran a catering business.
But the 1970s were a difficult time for a lot of businesses, so after 10 years enjoying an idyllic life in the countryside, we moved into the flat above the restaurant and cake shop the family owned, Wincott’s, in Banbury.
Work always came first for my parents, so for a number of years we didn’t go away in the summer.
Did you receive pocket money?
Yes, and I spent it on Marvel comics, and later on albums like Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, which I played endlessly in the mid-70s.
What was your first job?
After leaving school in 1978, before going to university, I worked at the Dragon Prep School in Oxford doing a variety of jobs, one of which involved keeping the headmaster’s drinks cupboard well-stocked, and serving gin and tonics at garden parties.
The G&Ts I poured were notoriously generous. Occasionally I even got to ‘sample’ the headmaster’s gin myself.
But my first proper acting job, which also secured my Equity card [a trade union for the performing arts], came after I gatecrashed an audition in 1987 and landed the part of Alec in Tess of the D’ Urbervilles at the Orchard Theatre Company in Barnstaple, which toured the West Country.
Tumblr media
Wincott says starring in The Archers is like having ‘a second family’. Pictured here with Stephen Kennedy and Mairead McKinley (Credit: The Archers/David Burges)
How long did you work in regional theatre for? Was it lucrative?
The best part of a decade, appearing everywhere from Colchester to Perth, and Harrogate to Theatr Clwyd in Wales, doing both Shakespeare and modern plays, often playing leading roles.
Money was minimal – I was paid about £160-£170 a week on my first acting job – but the Equity Touring allowance helped.
Regional theatre allowed me to hone my skills as an actor. Once, I was heckled by an inebriated audience member who loudly greeted every entrance I made in Tess with a cry of “Asshole!”.
However, you just have to stay focused. He was gone by the interval – probably back to the bar. This was in Falmouth, now affectionately rebranded among friends as “Foulmouth”!
Have you experienced any lean times as an actor?
It took me nine months to land my first proper acting job, and until then I was working on the fringe – just earning expenses, or profit sharing if I was lucky.
Most actors have good years and bad years. So you have to set aside money to see you through the lean spells, as well as save enough to pay your tax bill at the end of the year.
How did you land the part of Adam in The Archers?
I actually played a Danish agricultural student for a few months in the 1990s – but then, a decade or so later, I was invited to audition with a dozen other actors for the role of Adam at Pebble Mill in 2003.
I heard nothing for 10 days, but was then asked to come back for a recall [second audition] and was offered the role.
Now, it's like having a second family. This month I’ve been a cast regular for almost exactly 20 years. Providing you aren’t written out (or killed off), there’s a certain security.
Coincidentally, my mother grew up on a Home Farm [a key location in the radio drama] and went to the same school, although not at the same time, as Godfrey Baseley, who created The Archers.
Does The Archers pay enough for you to buy a farm of your own?
The cast only works on The Archers for about one week in the month – we record blocks of episodes several weeks ahead of transmission – and radio pays somewhere between theatre and television.
So I doubt it would pay for a farm in the UK, though it might eventually just pay for a small farmhouse in rural Andalucia, where I enjoy spending time.
So who knows? I might become a Spanish granjero and grow olives one day.
You also find time to record audiobooks and video games?
I’ve recorded hundreds of audiobooks and video games over the last 15 years or so. An audiobook takes days, if not weeks, to prepare and then record in studio.
I’ve voiced everything from The Wind in the Willows to Nineteen Eighty-Four and the classics of Flaubert.
But it's hard work for often little reward. It can be fun creating bizarre voices for elves, orks or extraterrestrials in fantasy books, but the concentration required when the red light is on is second to none.
It's just you, the words on the page and the voices in your imagination.
Tumblr media
In addition to his role on the BBC’s longest-running drama, Wincott has recorded hundreds of audiobooks and video games. Pictured with Stephen Kennedy (Credit: BBC/PA)
Have you got a pension?
Yes, I took out an Equity pension through my union years ago and still pay into it. I also have a SIPP.
What’s been your best investment?
The investment I made in going to drama school in the mid-1980s. Doing that gave me classical training as an actor. I probably wouldn’t be in The Archers today without that.
Do you own a property?
Yes, a second floor, two-bedroom flat in a property in Clapham, south London, dating back to the 1900s. I bought it for £60,000 in 1991, though it’s now worth a considerable six-figure sum, I imagine.
It’s an excellent location for getting in and out of town.
Are you a spender or a saver?
Instinctively a saver. As an actor you never know what’s around the corner, and we know if we're working there will be tax to pay. Not to mention investing for the future.
What’s your greatest financial indulgence?
Every now and then, I'll spend a few days in southern Spain, specifically Las Alpujarras – the foothills of the Sierra Nevada – where I can recharge my batteries, or prepare a book for audio in tranquility. I'm learning Spanish now, too.
What has been your worst financial decision?
Buying into the Woodford Equity Investment Fund, as part of my SIPP.
Although Neil Woodford was considered a star fund manager, the fund collapsed and the administrator is now embroiled in collective litigation to recoup losses. Never a dull moment.
Do you donate to charity?
Yes, Art Fund, which facilitates the acquisition of artworks for the nation. Doing so also entitles you to half-price admission to special exhibitions, such as those at the Tate, the Courtauld or the National Gallery.
Do you plan to do a June Spencer (Peggy Archer) and still be in The Archers when you’re 100?
Who knows? The Archers is an extraordinary institution, part of our cultural fabric as a farming nation – it boasts such longevity, too.
Maybe my character will outlive me? I'd like to think he will… before the next generation takes over.
The Archers, Radio 4, weekdays at 7pm; Omnibus edition, Sundays at 10am

Who’s killing the spiders in this relationship? Part of me feels like Adrien would hate spiders to death and have pretty bad arachnophobia, but I also feel like he would allow a family of daddy long legs to hang out in his room for company (“father won’t let me get a real pet, so…”), and because he’d feel guilty if he killed a whole family of them.
Marinette though…I imagine she would get the creeps by Adrien doing this and he’d have to convince her it’s totally fine and the spiders eat the flys and cockroaches so they are valuable contributors to the household so she shouldn’t massacre them. “That’s Webster, Selene, Arlo…They don’t bite! I promise!”
Thinking about this for my Adrienette Aussie backpacking AU and I’m at a dormitory camp place in Perth right now and I counted 16 daddy long legs in my bathroom and 4 are currently hanging out in my room as I type this. Also a 2 jumping spiders near the sink. One long leg was chillin on the toilet flush button!!! I had to touch its leg to wake it up and get it to move. I have never seen such a high density of spiders indoors in my life (I’m Australian and still shocked)

a lil research notes (timeline re: michael & daniel's friendship/professional relationship)
they've known each since the age of 13 by training at the same gym
after daniel left home at the age of 17 (iirc), they didn't hangout as much except for that one month a year when daniel's back to Perth during winter break (they'd catch up by playing sports)
michael went on to study civil engineering in college, graduated, worked a 9-5 job, decided nope, quit and became a trainer for professional athletes
at the end of 2017, daniel messaged michael out of the blue, asking him if he'd like to become his trainer
michael had reservations whether he could get daniel to take him seriously as a coach. and regarding the general 'don't mix friendships w business' rule
basically michael had only 4 weeks to pack up his whole life and moved to london to become a red bull affiliated performance coach overnight lol
they had a trainer-trainee mode and a friend-friend mode that they go back and forth between based on what daniel needed
quoting michael: "i think the main aspect of our relationship is our friendship, most of the time these guys just need a friend by their side to keep them company"
on the other hand michael was also a very dedicated professional bc as a trainer he'd need to take care of basically every aspect in daniel's life as an athlete (physical wellbeing, mental wellbeing, nutritions, etc)
the 1st meeting between michael and yuki (re: michael working with yuki for the 2023 season) hxappened after ad22, ie when daniel had officially decided to take the year off

Best Way To Find Moving Companies In Perth
Tumblr media
Moving to a new home or office can be a stressful experience, and finding the right moving company is an essential part of the process.
With so many moving companies in Perth to choose from, it can be challenging to know where to start.
In this blog, we'll explore the best ways to find moving companies in Perth to help make your move as smooth as possible.
Ask for Recommendations
Asking for references from friends, neighbors, or coworkers is one of the greatest methods to discover a reputable moving company.
It's also a good idea to ask for recommendations from real estate agents or property managers, as they work with moving companies regularly and can offer valuable insights.
Check Online Reviews
Another great way to find moving companies in Perth is to check online reviews.
There are several websites, such as Google, Yelp, and Facebook, where customers can leave reviews about their experiences with moving companies.
Reading reviews can give you a good idea of the quality of service offered by the company and help you avoid any potential issues.
Research Online
The internet is a great resource for finding moving companies in Perth.
Most moving companies have websites where you can learn more about their services, pricing, and availability.
You can also check online directories, such as the Yellow Pages or TrueLocal, to find a list of moving companies in Perth.
Compare Quotes
Once you've identified several moving companies that meet your requirements, it's time to compare quotes.
It's important to obtain a moving quote from several companies to get an accurate estimate of the cost of your move.
The quote should detail the services included in the price, the distance of the move, the amount of stuff to move, and any additional fees or charges.
Be wary of companies that offer a quote that seems too good to be true, as this can indicate hidden fees or poor service.
Check Licensing and Insurance
Before hiring a moving company in Perth, it's essential to check that they are licensed and insured.
A licensed moving company will have the necessary permits and certifications to operate legally in Perth. Insurance is also crucial, as it protects your belongings in case of damage or loss during the move.
Consider Special Requirements
If you have special requirements, such as moving delicate or valuable items, choosing a moving company that can accommodate your needs is essential.
Ask the company about their experience and expertise in handling these items.
You should also check that the company has the necessary equipment, such as specialized packing materials or vehicles, to transport your belongings safely.
Conclusion
In conclusion, finding the right moving company in Perth is essential to ensuring a smooth and stress-free move.
Asking for recommendations, checking online reviews, researching online, comparing quotes, checking licensing and insurance, and considering special requirements are all essential steps in finding the best moving company for your needs.
You might just have a sense of security that your belongings are in good care by spending the effort to research and compare moving companies.
At CT Movers, we take pride in delivering the smoothest and hassle-free moving services that too at affordable prices for years!

I love days when I get an excuse to post music hre, and I hope you enjoy the third helping, the tale bhind the song is a cracker too......
Johnny Ramensky, the Scottish safe cracker was born on April 6th 1905 in Glenboig, Lanarkshire.
His father was a Lithuanian immigrant miner who died when Johnny was young and the young Ramensky also became a miner. It was while he was down the pit that he learned his skills with dynamite which were to prove so useful to him in later years.
Johnny drifted in and out of trouble from the age of eleven and moved to the Gorbals area of Glasgow during the Depression with his mother and two sisters. He developed an amazing physical strength and acrobatic ability but in order to obtain some money, he became a burglar, specializing in robberies involving climbing up external rone-pipes to gain entry to premises. He also developed skills in picking locks and safe-cracking with explosives.
He won the nickname Gentle Johnny because he never used violence. And he escaped from prison several times, even staging a rooftop protest at Barlinnie in 1931. Johnny was what you would call now a career criminal, his life of crime saw him spend an estimated 40 years in prison, which was only punctuated by his extraordinary service during the Second World War.
When the war started he wanted to contribute something. He went to the governor of Peterhead Prison, where he was being held at the time, and asked for help to join the forces after he got out. The governor recognised he was something special and that he could be extremely helpful to our secret services. He served his full sentence and was collected by MI5 agents at the gate.
Ramensky was known for his athleticism and aced basic military training before he was parachuted behind enemy lines in Nazi-occupied Europe. One early success was at the Italian port city La Spezia.
Johnny was able to hide himself in the mountains and used a compass to direct RAF bombers to the harbour. He was also a smashing saboteur and blew up a lot of railway lines. And after the Germans fled Rome, Johnny was able to recover a huge volume of secret documents from locked safes, which were very helpful in the conclusion of the war.
Ramensky also spent time in North Africa and almost had the opportunity to kill Nazi military commander Erwin Rommel. He broke into Rommel’s headquarters and unfortunately Rommel was on the front line. Had Rommel been there the course of the war would have changed because he would have been prepared to kill him. Of course, he did also break into Rommel’s safe and got plans that were helpful.
Mr.Ramensky’s wartime exploits formed the basis of the 1958 film ‘The Safecracker’, starring Mr.Ray Milland.
After the war Johnny went back to his old ways, even jumping off the train to blow open a safe on the way back to Glasgow hours after he was demobbed. . He went to blow a safe at a bank in York because his criminal contacts tipped him off. He has been described as an adrenaline addict. He seemed to like danger.
When he got back to Glasgow he became a folk hero because people had heard about his exploits in the army. Various people offered him employment, including one of the big demolition companies. But that wasn’t exciting enough for him.
Even in his declining years when his physicality began to leave him he still couldn’t settle down. He tried to be a bookie but lost all of his own money, because he was a gambler. He never really went straight.
Ramensky died aged 67 in 1972 while a prisoner in Perth. He kept diaries which were burned by prison authorities, but one early extract survived.
It read: “Each man has an ambition and I have fulfilled mine long ago. I cherish my career as a safe blower. In childhood days my feet were planted in the crooked path and took firm root. To each one of us is allotted a niche and I have found mine. Strangely enough, I am happy. For me the die is cast and there is no turning back.”
There has been talk a fmovie about Johnny being made, but it is still to happen.
There’s a 7 minute film bout Johnny with the author of his biography, Robert Jeffrey, who I sourced most of the info for this post, and retired Glesga polisman, Les Brown, who tells of his dealings with Gentle Johnny. The Roddy McMillan song is playing throughout the clip.
That’s not the end of Johnny Gently though, he lives on at Peterhead Prison, now a museum where Ramensky served so many years behind bars, has created a exhibition space which highlights different aspects of his career.
You can get his biography by Robert Jeffrey for only £3.39, kindle version and £5.56 hardback at Amazon, I have also seen it on Ebay uk delivered for as low as £2.11
Let Ramensky Go.
There was a lad in Glesga town, Ramensky was his name
Johnny didnae know it then but he was set for fame
Now Johnny was a gentle lad, there was only one thing wrong
He had an itch to strike it rich and trouble came along
He did a wee bit job or two, he blew them open wide
But they caught him and they tried him and they bunged him right inside
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
And when they let him out he said he’d do his best but then
He yielded tae temptation and they bunged him in again
Now Johnny made the headlines, entertained the boys below
When he climbed up tae the prison roof and gave a one-man show
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
But when the war was raging the brass-hats had a plan
Tae purloin some information, but they couldnae find a man
So they nobbled John in prison, asked if he would take a chance
Then they dropped him in a parachute beyond the coast of France
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
Then Johnny was a hero, they shook him by the hand
For stealing secret documents frae the German High Command
So Johnny was rewarded for the job he did sae well
They granted him a pardon frae the prison and the cell
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
But Johnny was in error when he tried his hand once more
For they caught him at a blastin’, and it wasnae worth the score
The jury pled for mercy, but the judge’s voice was heard
Ten years without remission, and that’s my final word
Ten years, my lord, that’s far too long, wee Johnny cried in vain
For if you send me up for ten I’ll never come out again
Oh give me another chance, my lord, I’m tellin’ you no lie
But if you send me up for ten I’ll sicken and I’ll die
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
Now Peterhead’s a fortress, its walls are thick and stout
But it couldnae hold wee Johnny when he felt like walking out
Five times he took a powder, he left them in a fix
And every day they sweat and pray in case he makes it six
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go
Alley-ee alley-ay alley-oo alley-oh
Open up your prison gates
And let Ramensky go………

GMMTV Up & Above 2024 Part 1 & 2
The Thailand Production Company did a 2 part previews of series to release presumably in 2024 or perhaps early 2025. Will these series make it to air.
UP & ABOVE Part 1 Series yet to air...
Enigma 2: Not my cup of tea, but no word of when or if this Win Metawin series will be released.
My Golden Blood: A BL and the union of JossGawin or JossFluke whatever. A vampire themed BL has no release date...yet.
UP & ABOVE Part 2
Scarlet Heart Thailand: Another adaptation from China. Not a BL but it boasts a lot of BL actors known and loved such as Win, Phuwin, Fourth, Tay, Nanon, Perth and Force along with actress Tu. It also has a Korean Adaptation.
The Ex-Morning: a BL slated to re-pair SOTUS duo SingtoKrist has already been moved to 2025 according to MDL but no official date.
The Dark Dice: A non BL starring popular GMMTV actor, singer & dancer Gemini sans partner Fourth. A supernatural thriller. No word on it's filming or release.
Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist: a new BL with a new pairing MarkOhm. Not that Ohm but the Ohm that's playing the other Ohm's little brother in Kidnap: The Series. And Mark from Only Friends (where he was more or less paired with Neo) this series is said to be released soon as in this year. But will air on IQIYI for most and YouTube for others.
ReVamp: The UnDead Story - Another vampire BL inherited from Studio Wabi Sabi and BounPrem reunion. This series has also been officially moved to 2025 with no date yet. However star Boun is also the screenwriter for this series
Break Up Service: a non BL series starring Off without Gun. A rom-com. No word but this series may appear in 2025.
Thame-Po: The Heart That Skips A Beat: a BL with the much anticipated ship of WilliamEst. Most likely a BL for 2025
Hide & Sis: a non BL that has been fairly quiet with an A-List of GMMTVers such as Piploy, Jan, Lookjun, JingJing along with Luke, Pepper, Gawin and Chimon. As Chimon took time off to deal with mental health issues he step aside from Perfect 10 Liners and separated from BL Ship Perth but was said to be still with this series. Probably another 2025 series.
Friendshit Forever: Initially this seemed very GL ish but no. A non BL with 2 male leads known for their BL's New (Dark Blue Kiss, Cherry Magic TH etc) and Boun (Until We Meet Again, Between Us and upcoming Revamp) and the female leads are Pat and Mook. This is a revenge plot series.
US: A very promising GL starring popular actress lately Emi. Emi appears in Perfect 10 Liners but recently appeared in Last Twilight, Wandee Goodday, The Rebound and The Trainee. She is being paired with Bonnie (newbie to GMMTV currently in supporting role in High School Frenemy) this series is also likely to hit at the end of December or maybe 2025
Leap Day: a non BL starring Pond, Gun and Dew. This one I hear was in the shooting stage and Pond was hurt on his arm. Pond says he's fine and was in sling. So depending if film was delayed due to this injury this one might be in 2024.
and finally
OSSAN'S LOVE THAILAND: Yet another Adaptation from Japan with EarthMix reuniting will likely be a 2025 BL Series unless GMMTV has a secret. Krit is set to play the older man that falls for employee Heng (played by EARTH) while roommate Momo (played by MIX) also falls for Heng.

Vice Versa rewatch ep 8
ANOTHER BIG IMPORTANT EPISODE!!! LET’S FXCKING GOOO!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Episode 8 is cloudy gray! Gray can have many meanings such as ambiguity, neutrality, weariness, wisdom, and melancholy. It’s interesting to note that cloudy gray specifically has a pink undertone. 👀 Also the new character we meet in this episode’s name is Mek, which means gray.
Tumblr media
Bro, they’ve been doing this for over a year now!! That’s crazy!! 🤯 of course Talay is struggling to tell the difference between himself and Tess now.
Tumblr media
ONCE AGAIN 10/10 THE BEST FRIENDS ONE COULD ASK FOR. Honestly, real Tess doesn’t deserve them but I’m so glad Talay has them ☺️
Tumblr media
Iconic first AouBoom moment! Vice Versa fans are the real OG AouBoom stans! 🤭
Tumblr media
PUEN I HOPE YOU GET TO LIVE OUT YOUR EVERY FANTASY WITH TALAY WHEN YOU’RE BACK IN YOUR UNIVERSE!!! 😄😍😏😉
Tumblr media
MY BOY PERTH!!!! This was the first show I ever saw him in and even without knowing him I got the feeling that he was some kind of special guest or something. Like people knew who this guy was. And then I watched Love By Chance but it was a year later and he was such a baby there that I didn’t recognize him 😅 but I loved his acting so much and when I saw Never Let Me Go I finally did recognize him and I got so excited to see him again!
Oh the motherly joy I felt seeing him all grown up too! 🥹 I’ll always have a soft spot for him! 🥰 Back then I didn’t know anything about different companies or production houses so I just thought it was cool to see him again. Now I understand a little bit more about how he switched companies and stuff.
Tumblr media
I’m sorry but as a Hispanic/Latina, Alessandro is not a Spanish name 😄 sounds more Italian to me. In Spanish it’d be Alejandro, but I don’t blame the Thai writers for not knowing lol (also he’s a Spaniard or Spanish person not a Spanish but again I guess it’s not their fault lol)
(ALSO ALSO: ‘Spanish people’ ONLY refers to people from Spain, just like ‘English people’ refers to people from England. People from Central or South America are NOT Spanish. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. It’s a very important topic to me.)
Tumblr media
Seeing this now is funny cause back then I had no idea who Tay Tawan was 😅 I knew he was some kind of special cameo like Perth was but I’d never even heard of Dark Blue Kiss or anything. I watched this show at the beginning of my BL fandom experience so I was a clueless newbie.
Tumblr media
THIS WAS SO IMPORTANT FOR PUEN TO HEAR!!! Cause yeah there’s the fear of Mek looking like Talay’s old crush, but more importantly as an actor Puen is used to people liking him for his looks. As a celebrity people don’t really know the real you and they judge you for what you look like or how you present yourself. But with this new body Puen is free to truly be himself with no filters and Talay doesn’t know what he really looks like. So all he knows is the real person that Puen is and that’s who he likes!!! He says “I like you even though I don’t know what you look like… I don’t know who you are.” He makes it clear that it has nothing to do with the fame that Puen has and all to do with who he truly is. And when Puen responds with “I like you too. I like everything about you” his voice is quaking with emotion and his eyes are watery with unshed tears!! 🥹❤️
Tumblr media
AND THEN WE GET A BEAUTIFUL FIRST MUTUAL KISS!!! SINGLE TEAR ROLLING DOWN PUEN’S CHEEK!! TALAY MOVING HIS HAND TO GRAB HIM TIGHTER!! ME FLAILING AND KICKING MY FEET!! FADE TO BLACK TO END THE EPISODE!! PERFECTION!!
Fin.
Until next week at least lol
