It’s gonna take me ages to digitize them, but I took pictures of all the pages so I didn’t have to get caught with the real copies (it took me, like, an hour and I was sick with anxiety the whole time).

OK, but this means that Trunchbull has to do something equally as ridiculous as throwing children around by their hair. Maybe she cuts the girls pigtails off or tying the girl up by her hair.

This changes the Trunchballs physical hands on violence since she can no longer throw the hammer with this new body type. Perhaps she does another Olympic sport. One that centers on traditional beauty. Maybe she was a former ice skater or gymnast.

Matilda (movie) remake where Trunchbull looks like one of those hyper feminine bleach blonde Republican women you see on talk shows as the token girl/eye candy. And then Miss Honey is a soft-hearted, handy, tie-wearing Butch.

a baby miracle: christmas special

“Twee.”, mumbled your little baby, pointing at the poorly decorated Christmas tree in your living room. Actually the tree wasn’t that bad - your baby was still able to recognize it.

You smiled lovingly at her tone and picked her up, placing a big kiss on her chubby cheek. “My smart baby. Yes that is a tree.”, you nodded and kissed her again, until she rebelled and started whining. Placing her down to play with her toys so you check on your cookies, you heard the familiar roar of Benny’s motorcycle.

The tray of baked cookies was out of the oven, just after seconds of you flinching from the burning metal. The motor ceased running and moments later the door swung open.

“Daddee!”, the sweetest squeal was heard from the living room, an automatic smile finding its way on your lips. You grabbed a spatula and placed each cookie on a colorful plate to cool.

“Hey baby.”, Benny’s unmistakeable voice startled you. You turned around, placing a hand over your heart as he laughed at your reaction. “I don’t understand how you couldn’t hear me with Tilly right here.”, and just as he described, your baby girl was on his hip, talking baby talk to her daddy.

“Cat feet.”, you raised an eyebrow at his sock-covered feet to which he simply shrugged. Instead of commenting he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your lips.

“They were out of powdered sugar, baby.”, he murmured against your lips. You whined at his words and pulled back. “Hey- Not like I was the one driving around in the snow and doing you a favor. Come on keep me warm baby.”, Benny went in for another kiss, but with a hand on his chest, you pushed him away.

Benny groaned and then pressed a kiss to Matilda’s cheek. “You’ll let daddy kiss you, won’t you bee? Yes.”

Matilda shook her head and leaned away. “Daddee cold.”

Your plans were officially ruined.

How could you finish the dessert without the key ingredient? Especially with guests showing up in three hours? 

You swallowed the lump in your throat, suddenly feeling like just bawling your eyes out. But Benny knew you well enough that you rejecting one of his kisses meant that certain dots weren’t connecting. So he tried to lighten the tension.

“Crazy people buying sugar on Christmas. Who needs cookies anyways?”, he said in a joking tone, bouncing Matilda on his hip as careless giggles filled the sweet kitchen air.

You didn’t react to Benny’s joke. You turned around and gripped the kitchen counter, forcing your eyes shut, hoping that no tears would come out.

Benny’s brows furrowed in concern. He glanced at his daughter and set her down, watching her crawl to her little toy set up. Then he approached you slowly, trying to anticipate your reactions, your actions - anything. But he didn’t know what was going to happen for everything had been going smoothly. Right?

A warm hand was on your shoulder and his breath down your neck. You so badly wanted to give into his familiarity - just break down for a moment, until everything was alright again.

“It ain’t about the sugar.”, his words were a statement - simply proof of how well he knew you. “Tell me, baby.”, and at the raw, honest tone dripping from his voice, your eyes welled up with tears. You turned around and pressed your body impossibly closer to his, his hand immediately finding comfort in your long locks. “Oh, baby.”

“I told you, Y/N, that I don’t want you to bottle anything up.”, his tone was lower, as if he wanted to make sure that his words were meant for you and you only. “I know this is rich comin´ from me.”, Benny let out a little chuckle.

You let out a tearful sniffle as you pulled away from Benny’s chest to look up at him. “It’s just— It’s just been a lot. Matilda saying her first words, the dinner with friends, your new job— I know it doesn’t sound like a lot, but—“, you shook your head, your gaze lowering again.

“It’s a whole list, baby.”, he said in a comforting tone and cupped your cheek lovingly, your eyes meeting his again. “I’m surprised you pushed through for so long.”

You sniffled again. “I just want everything to be perfect. Johnny was so nice to us with your new job and Betty and her girls were so kind to Tilly and me. I feel like I need to repay them, I don’t know… And the powdered sugar being sold-out…”, you shook your head again at the realization and hid your gaze in Benny’s neck.

Benny’s brows furrowed at your honesty. Repay them? Repay them for what? Being humans?

“Y/N, listen to me.”, a little head shake from you made him sigh, though his hands cradled your head like they would with his babygirl. “We ain’t paying Johnny back for nothing, baby. We’re hosting Christmas dinner because they did the same thing last year. That’s it. It has nothing to do with my new job or Betty’s girls.”

“Yeah, but he was so kind about it—“

“Because I was good at what I was doing.”, he interrupted your mumbles. “There ain’t no need to stress over details that, sorry baby, won’t even be noticed by most people.”, his index curled under your chin to bring your soft eyes to his. You were mesmerized by his calmness and ability to settle such big emotions.

“I think I love you.”, you said in a dreamy tone. Benny laughed and squished your cheeks to place a kiss on your puckered lips.

“I think I love you too, baby.”

Hello! I think Nest Swap goes well with "When I Grow Up" from Matilda the Musical

Tim spun in a circle with his arms spread out, and screeched like an owl. He took a minute to breathe heavily and jump up and down to try to work off his energy about how cool this was. He didn't know where to start! 

It was some kind of secret hideout. Tim all but vibrated from excitement. Holy cow! He ran from room to room, sliding in his socks and giggling madly. There were two secret floors below the apartment. There were motorcycles! There was a big computer! There was a huge workspace with lots of deconstructed tools and radios and things that he was definitely going to look at later.

Despite being a “professional gum chewer”…she doesn’t actually care much for candy. It’s not like she down right DESPISES it, like Mike…but still.

If we’re talking modern au (not in the 70s or the early 2000s), she would absolutely be into Billie Eilish and AViVA

Leading me into my next headcannon: Violets a major tomboy…which should come as no surprise (much to her mothers dismay)

After the tour, her relationship with her parents became strained (more so than it already was) and she was often insulted by them for being “stupid” and “immature.” I mean, “how could a girl be told NOT to do something…but then do it any way?”….especially if it turned her BLUE.

Cut her hair, bleached it blonde, and left home the second she could…desperate to sever any relation/and or ties to family.

Ends up in a relationship with Matilda (Charlie’s bestie).

Bestie = Mike Teavee….OOOOGGH BOY these two are absolutely chaotic together. What a perfect duo

Likely the closest with Charlie post-tour? Idk it just sorta feels right.

Doesn’t stay dark blue for her entire life—-as she grows up, the color of her skin gets lighter…becoming and staying light blue when she’s around 16, I’d say.

Took her the longest to befriend Mike….OOOGH boy—-it was a struggle…since they, too, had a rivalry—-and she was convinced he was an UTTER BUFFOON before actually getting to know him.

Post tour, Miranda is left with red spots over her skin…luckily, though, there aren’t a lot.

Actually, besides Charlie of course, has one of the best relationships with his parents (er—-well, mother…his father passed away before he could remember him).

Sweetest little guy…I can’t even.

After the tour, he began to have a healthier relationship with food.

Can sing opera level notes (I blame “A Little Bit of Good” from Chicago for this one)…So…I guess, vocally, he’d be a countertenor?

Never lost his German accent—-despite not living in Germany anymore when he’s older.

Veruca:

…I don’t think she’s gay, guys—-although, I’m not opposed to demi-girl (she/they) Veruca. At the very most…I’d say bi-curious? (Oh god I hope this doesn’t offend anyone I’m so sorry I know people see her as a lesbian its just not something I see SORRY)

Definitely became nicer post tour—-she actually becomes ashamed of her past self.

Probably only remains in contact with her dad in the future considering the fact that her mother…wasn’t necessarily in the picture anyhow…

Does ballet. I LOVE this detail from the broadway musical…

Voice of reason when it comes to her and Mikes relationship (both platonically and romantically).

Modern au Mike would be OBSESSED with Saturday morning cartoons. He’d also be a Nickelodeon kid without a doubt. Spongebob would be his favorite…because of course it would…He’d also like Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Also modern au…Mike would be a theater kid. I feel like his favorite would be Spongebob the musical…..go figure.

Since I’m assuming Captain Knuckleduster (in the catcf verse) is a piece of media Mike consumes…(both shows and games based on Captain Knuckleduster)…I’m gonna say it was something he really loved as a kid…perhaps Captain Knuckleduster provided him comfort due to him feeling like a father figure to him. Hmmm…Do I smell daddy issues?

Yeah, Mike and his dad, Norman, aren’t very close…

…huh, it’s probably why Violet and Mike are close….they both have parental issues (Violet with her mom, mainly, and Mike with his dad).

Mike and his mother, Ethel, however…I actually feel like they end up on good terms and have a pretty good relationship in the future! I also feel like in the future that Mike learns to respect her and appreciate her.

In the future—-Mike probably becomes a physics teacher…Not only based on his interests but also out of respect for his mother (since his mother is normally portrayed to be a teacher).

Genius….Need I say more?

Post tour, Mike ends up—-pretty much back to normal size! Maybe an inch or two taller…but normal sized!…yet, theres a catch. Because of his body being stretched to UNGODLY lengths to try and fix him…he likely ended up with bones like rubber….and post tour, his limbs can stretch very far….uncontrollably.

But after bouts of depression, self-hatred, self-discovery, and then self-acceptance (and also therapy…lots of it), Mike realizes he can actually control it…basically giving him a super power almost (move over elastigirl…here comes Mike Teavee).

Ends up becoming pretty close with Charlie in the future too.

Thinks he’s a smooth a** mother f**ker when it comes to flirting…but…oh my god…he just…OOOOGH boy…he sucks at it. Can’t flirt in a smooth way AT ALL yet thinks he’s just so…good at it???? It probably drives Veruca insane (in a good way) and probably gets a laugh out of her too.
