since I'm already on a roll with my cowgirl-punk daughter rn and spamming the tags I see NO reason to slow down now lmao
Capri Chilton's "team color" in my head is orange!! :D it's the one rainbow color missing in the Burner's "Five Man Band" setup. and for my own headcanons, it's a FIRE color that fits with how much she likes to blow stuff up, and it's a good warm desert color that sorta invokes her background traveling around the Wastelands after getting separated from Mike.
(I also like that Capri's orange fits between Texas's red and Julie's yellow, 'cause she's absolutely gung-ho about getting violent like Texas? but she's also more calculated about when to jump into the fight, like Julie. clever and brutal. she fits right in-between them!)
so yeah CAPRI COMPLETES THE RAINBOW. she is "The Sixth Ranger"/"Token Evil Teammate" for the Burners. yes. my brain likes it.
#motorcity#capri chilton#burners#my headcanons#sorry to any fandom stragglers here I just kinda live in the capri chilton tag now#this is my home#I am now a stan account for a character that never showed up#in a 10-year-old dead fandom#I love it here :')

Can I ask your top 10 fav fics ever (from any fandom, if you don't mind)?
Also, just curious, is there a story behind your name "verycharismaticdragon "?
I'm not the best at remembering things past the hyperfix, so half of this will be SV, but I'll start at prev fandoms for variety.
Artificial Nocturne (Motorcity) - I've read this ages ago but I remember it rearranging my brain chemistry. And making me realize I had a scar kink.
An Abomination, Grand Cleric Elthina's Murderer and the Herald of Andraste walk into a Bar (Dragon Age) - it's probably abandoned but it's so good. Anders and Varric in this are so *incoherent gesturing*
intra-personal negotiation (Venom) - I don't understand why I didn't bookmark a single Venom fic even though I distinctly remember like 5 straight bangers, but thankfully I'm following this author at least ✊
deathbed (Qi Ye) - that time I was whining there were no first life JBY/ZZS fics and then! Anyway it's understandably melancholy it's also very pretty and exactly right as it should be.
the good rain knows when to fall (TYK) - you should be reading Bichen's entire discography fic collection I just remembered this one first. This one is lighthearted old foxes clowning! The author's angst and cannibalism are also top-notch 👌
Ok now to SVSSS.
Joyed to be Forlorn - THE binghe fic for me. inspired me to start digging into Luo Binghe's character in a way that resulted in Transmigrator Time Traveler, hopefully thats recommendation enough
continued - possibly THE best fic in scum villain fandom. the format alone... oh just read it, you'll see what I mean.
A Child Once - again, i could rec Tossawary's entire discography, but this one is my personal favorite. (if your fav character is SQH though, the one you want is pride is not the word I'm looking for. aka THE sqh fic.)
sweet tongues, sharp teeth - unfinished but raw enough to lodge itself in my brain despite that.
Tale Within A Tale - cute as fuck. made me kick my legs and giggle many times. ...and because once I started pulling up SV fics it was difficult to stop...
side effects (rated E) - part 2 in particular didnt have to go so hard for a fic where the premise is 'bingqiu with tentacles'
don't underestimate me (rated E) - "all for the sake of preserving biodiversity!" god shen yuan SO would be in this situation.
The Best Luo Binghe (rated E) - binggeyuan. shen yuan SO would be in this situation, take 2.
put me in, coach (rated M) - bingqiushang. so fucking funny okay i love it so much
from your knees (rated E) - bingjiu. they're so rancid in this one its perfect 🖤
...Damn, this really puts the difference between my non-hyperfix and hyperfix memory into perspective, huh 😅 i actually had to trim the sv list a bit 😅😅😅
Anyway, yeah, my username actually just references an rp session we had with friends quite a few years back. Where at a certain point my character was referenced as "a VERY charismatic dragon" after managing to turn the antagonist by impressing them (thanks to some VERY lucky dice rolls). And I was dissatisfied with my old username at the time, and thought it sounded funny and snappy enough, so - stars aligned and all that. I'm happy with it still! Probably because dragons are always cool ✌️
#svsss#motorcity#dragon age#venom#qi ye#tian ya ke#<- for org purposes on my blog#😘 thanks for the ask!

Account Update 🌟
I haven't been on this platform in years and slowly started making posts and reblogs again. Most of the accounts I did follow back then are either gone, or no longer active. So I'm listing EVERY THING I'm into, so I can follow people back with similar tastes and interests. Consider it a get to know me things whole I make updates. Reblog, share and comment as much as you want, I'd really like to make good use of this site again. Especially since I'm a YouTube Spoofer and part time writer, and always getting inspiration. Which also means my channel is going through revamping, so you'll see some activity on and off as things are scheduled ahead of time.
Plus I'm working on creating my own animation studio with friends to bring my original ideas to life as movies and series in the future. I love to spread joy and fun to others to who aspire to animate as well! Warning: there's a a ton of things I love! 😅

oh hey is it time to go watch old media until the writer's strike is over
welp here's my list, i highly recommend adding onto it or making your own
sit-coms
Better Off Ted (office comedy about a pretty decent guy who manages the R&D department of your standard big capitalist (evil) company. absurd, sincere, and blessedly not nihilistic.)
Golden Girls (four older women living together. openly touched upon topics like gay people are human beings actually and so are people without houses. and this was in the 80s.)
Murphy Brown (Reporter/news presenter workplace comedy. i like eldin)
WKRP (set in a radio station, this one is a pain to find unedited anywhere because of music licensing nonsense)
Designing Women (i haven't actually watched much of this yet but i heard it's pretty good so i'm listing it here in hopes i'll remember to check it out)
british panel / comedy shows (ok so they're like game shows, except the prizes range from useless to nonexistent, all the contestants are comedians, and nobody really cares that much who wins. ,fair warning though, these are british. so you're just gonna get a certain amount of jokes that are like "yup an old cishet white dude sure did write that")
Would I Lie to You (contestants make ridiculous claims and the opposing team has to guess if it's real or not)
8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown (not "8 out of 10 Cats". not "Countdown". specifically "8 out of 10 cats does countdown". yes this is important)
Taskmaster (five contestants perform a series of increasingly silly tasks to try to score points)
Big Fat Quiz of the Year / Decade (a series of long quiz specials where comedians often fail, intentionally or otherwise, to answer questions)
crime/detective/spy shows (cw copaganda. bc that's the entire genre)
Columbo (did you know it's ALL on the internet archive? for FREE?)
Simon and Simon (private investigators who are also brothers, a bit more on the fun side. pretty good for the 80s, but be warned you're still gonna get some dopey tropes like ableism in certain episodes.)
Rockford Files (ex-convict PI. doesn't like guns, friends with his dad. cynical but can't help helping people most of the time. we love to see it. like the two above, it's older but it holds up)
Brooklyn 99 (much like columbo, everybody already knows this one)
Burn Notice (recent ex-spy stuck in miami tries to get his job back. an unfortunate amount of ogle-y filler shots. I liked the first 4 seasons and low key recommend stopping after it, but everybody's mileage varies.)
and finally, because i know who i a:
cartoons
Motorcity (what if the only answer to an oppressive conformist society was UNDERGROUND TEENS WITH CARS and it looked AMAZING and it was KILLED AFTER 20 EPISODES BECAUSE THERE IS NO GOD)
Storm Hawks (what if the only answer to a returning evil empire was SKY TEENS WITH AIRPLANE MOTORCYCLES, side note this is like the only time i've ever seen stylized 3D animation in a way that just looks? good?? i would love to see more stuff try this kind of direction instead of aiming for anime or realism)
Generator Rex (a teen with TRANSFORMING MUTANT MACHINE POWERS fights alongside a kinda sus organization to try to save others who have transformed into dangerous mutants. i haven't finished this one and im not a fan of the monkey character but dam this show kinda slaps)
Teen Titans (TEEN SUPERHEROES. i have a soft spot for this show. it was my first superhero show as a kid and still mostly holds up as good fun)
Spectacular Spider-Man (spider-man has a lotta cartoons by now but this is up there near the top i feel)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (it's PRETTY it's CUTE it's FUNNY and only has a few episodes i would outright skip. i stopped enjoying it by the last couple seasons but i still think it's worth a watch if you haven't yet)
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD WATCH THIS SHOW DEAR GODS IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE IT'S SO MUCH FUN AND I LOVE MY IDIOT SONS SO MUCH AND THEN IT PUNCHES YOU RIGHT IN THE EMOTIONS WHEN YOU AREN'T EXPECTING IT-)
and Bluey. watch Bluey.
AIGHT THAT'S IT FOR NOW honestly i could add more to this but my memory ain't that good
✨enjoy✨

hey there texas fans, i got another commission, but i'm not sure how appropriate it is to post it here. nothing explicit, but it is a bit more suggestive than anything recent. i'll attach a small preview below
any feedback would be greatly appreciated. i've been running this blog for about 10 years now, and i understand there are a lot of different reasons for people to love texas. i just don't wanna squick anyone out, especially followers who are under 18
by the way, this was based on a doodle from dwooman:

SRTUC and the "3D vs 2D" toons
a little animation prediction:
...10-15 years from now, the kids growing up watching things from their parents' handheld devices are gonna be nostalgic for their cocomelon's and will be wondering, "why aren't there any good 3D cartoons like in their childhood??" just like how ppl in each generation have always been nostalgic for the entertainment of their own childhood haha x3
this little anecdote is smth I've slowly kinda realized after thinking abt the whole "3D vs 2D" mindset ppl have about animation in general. i've been seeing a lot of complaining online abt 2D cartoons and indie cartoons in general and I'm wondering.... when will the criticism end? Just 8 months ago, people would have shared the sentiment, "more indie animation! hollywood is starving our artists!" but now from online fans, I see a lot more of the sentiment of "this thing sucks" or in the case of Rise TMNT for example, "we were too late for this show".
People like 2D animation, but any time there's a new show out, people either don't give it a chance (thinking of my old faves, like Motorcity and Sym-bionic Titan, but also many others). Or like with Moon Girl, people seem to ignore it more than talk about it. Is it because it's a Marvel show? it's like the spiritual successor to both ROTTMNT and LMK, but also BH6 a bit?? it's good. animated by Flying Bark (known widely for Rise and Lego Monkey Kid) with supervising director Ben Juwono, story artist on BH6 and Glitch Techs. and there's lots of other cool ppl on the crew
also just, I'm thinking again abt how the 1st reactions from many different fans and viewers in general was so... strong. People reacted so badly to the 3D in SR, and it didn't make much sense to me, because personally, as someone who's seen many animated films and series since Toy Story in 96, it looks better than just "fine". the art direction in the show actually looks great to me. I do notice smaller animation or model/render mistakes but tbh they are so few and inbetween, that usually does not break enjoyment for me when it comes to 3D tv. So a lot of the hate that the "3D style" gets still doesn't make sense to me.
now I see that it's probably bc ppl are still used to 2D being their preference or something they see as better.... and maybe not entirely just ppl being tired of certain 3D rendering styles. A few thoughts...
So alright, it does not look like disney or like Sony artists' work with Spiderverse and later films. "Styles" or approaches to rendering which ppl are used to or have come to expect from all animated features and even animated series now. But it's still unique and strong in its own way. It doesn't look like Trollhunters either, 99 pictures' previous series of works, and I find that a good thing. it's been a long time since Trollhunters was in development to when Samurai Rabbit started 3D development.
The show is stylized in a way where it takes into account the work of all the visdev artists while also juggling the task of making anthro animals look animal-like and cartoony, but not too cutesy or too smooth either. It seems to follow the visdev art a lot. So there are many considerations to balance in the style. They also used many budget-saving methods, i.e. the changing walls of the city so they would have more variety without modelling a lot of buildings, or how scenes were rendered in a way to save time and space. Or cut character's legs off via camera view bc it's not important to see leg etc. So for the result they got on the show, it looks fine and quite often also nice. Again, the art directions saves the show from a lot of the smaller mistakes and ties it nicely together. One thing that did bother me a bit more was the crowd-characters style, both in 3D and 2D. To me they look a bit ugly and like they don't quite go together with the main cast "drawing" style, but again lol, you cannot splurge on everything when you're on a TV budget and imo it's not a huge loss.
I do like however how this show avoids what a lot of videogames do (for good reason), and what some 3D shows seem to also do. Everything looks like it's at the right size. Like the characters and objects/scenery/city they interact with feels tangibe, despite any technical shortcuts mentioned before. It looks really nice to my brain, especially knowing what many of these things look and feel like irl. I also enjoy that they've made the simple choice of making the characters more "furry" looking anthros and "less human" - so they don't feel awkward for having too many human traits and less animal traits. Or like animal heads with human bodies with the wrong proportions. Sometimes these things just work better in drawings and 2D vs 3D. Smart choice to not overly humanize them when they're already walking on their very human-like cartoon legs.
Lol maybe I've just seen much uglier things in 3D than what kids these days are used to. It does feel like with Samurai Rabbit in general, it's another case of a show coming out a bit too late for the changing tastes of viewers now. But then again, if we consider how many of these criticisms are coming from teens, who maybe just have a different taste and preference (e.g. they haven't seen maybe early 00s stuff so they judge all 2D to be superior bc they're tired of 3D? could be anything like that). And the other contingent I see are some older adults in their 30s/40s who are critical of animation in general, or they don't like how it's not a direct adaptation of Usagi Yojimbo. I remember a quote my sibling throws around about fans like these: "and baby food doesn't taste as good as it used to!!!" and I find she is right haha, some people have way too many opinions about shows which are not for them at all. Like, move on and watch something else x3 It seems it was popular with the indended demographic of kids ages 6-11, so, if that's something that helped the show, good. That's nice.
BTW, on that last note, been meaning to say this for a long time, but imo, it's actually good that the show wasn't a direct adaptation. Think about it. How many adaptations have you seen where people don't complain about how xyz part was left out? Or how they didn't capture the essence in their style? Stan and crew worked with what they got from Netflix, and I find that admirable on its own, seeing how Netflix treats many of their animated shows nowadays in general. Not just cancellations, but other things like contract disagreements and changes to a show. It seems with the last 2 years, the halcyon days of Netflix are over. Even though animation was the thing holding the entertainment industry in the US up during the pandemic, it and its workers are treated unfairly by the megacorp, who have also revealed that they're losing money in general. And from interviews and articles, it seems this show also had hard times, in terms of getting an adaptation at all (it was changed and NF asked them to do it about a younger Usagi instead, something like that), so they got the short end of the stick, but dealth with it. When Candie and Doug, the showrunners, were brought on board, they were told that it had to be for a younger audience, so a younger Usagi and the solution was to make a descendant. But that freed the show up a lot more than it would have been before. Now, instead of deciding on what favourite UY story to cut, the crew could instead focuz on making a complete story and rounded characters without stepping on Netflix's toes. It also seems the show had really enthusiastic execs and producers in general. So in the end we got a show with descendants of some of the comic's cast, who just happen to also be like retellings or their own versions of some of these characters (like Chizu and Kitsune for example)
saying all that.... lol if this show does come back, it'll be a while again and 3D preferences and styles would be changed again... I wonder what kind of visual style they would opt for if there was a new series based on Samurai Rabbit or based on other Usagi Yojimbo series, like Chibi Usagi or Yokai Hunter.
there's also of course just the factor that a lot of animation fans might be coming from a different place compared to fans of other media and are a lot more critical about what they watch. Never really been big on liveaction fandoms cuz I only watch liveaction stuff w my family as a fun activity to do, but i get sorta bored otherwise (so personal preference). I do know ppl complain abt their liveaction shows too but... it seems from this far away, much less whiney in some way. Like ppl being used to it and moving. But animation criticism always seems to be coming from an ungenuine or unfairly angry place. I don't know if it's the combo of "nostalgia nerd"-like youtuberisms having an influence on this, or just general negativity, but it's definitely something that's sorta become more boring/annoying to see. If you're critical of everything, eventually you sorta have nothing to criticise, or at least, nothing to enjoy.
but hey, if the general taste preference is still 2D, that's great! that's nice. I also still prefer 2D even if 3D is something I've worked with and something i've become accustomed to in animation in general. I just wonder where this mindset comes from that animated things have to be absolutely-infinitely PERFECT, or else it's not worth the watch.
I've definitely been in this camp of cartoon haters myself in the past... maybe not so much looking for perfectionism, but trying to see things I liked from an adult POV... but thankfully the early 00s we didn't have internet access i my family yet so no one else saw lol. As a kid, I genuinely thought that to be an animator, I have to learn how to be critical of every movie and animated thing I see. But animation brings me a lot of joy even when it's not "objectively" good... I wonder when more people will catch up and see their old mindset from a different point of view. I just find it sad that critics and internet drama seemingly have a much bigger impact on a show's success than say, the actual demographic watching it, or sales or whatever.
Anyway, if you read this far, thank you! I would offer an internet cookie, but it seems so here have a SR! Gen, representing how tired I am after staying up too late to write this haha x3
Anyway, good night, if you like a show or really enjoy it, pls watch it and share the word about it, that seems to do good.
Night!
#anyway I keep remembering how MOON GIRL apparently still isn't out in many countries#watch moon girl it's good#yuichi usagi#samurai rabbit#srtuc#usagi chronicles#cartoons#opinionate#like idk. just. sad? yeah i guess#just thinking#long post#fanramble#this is just a bunch of dumb rambling don't mind me#there are bigger things going on but i'm thinking abt cartoons again#this is not a thought piece i am just slowly frizzzing my brain out trying to think of coherent things#distraction destruction deception... i will write no more past this nightly attention

How well do you think the kid/teen protags of the series you've consumed would fare against XANA?
Pretty well I think. Not perfect by any stretch- Actually scratch that I think Team Tennyson would probably take XANA out over the course of at best a story arc. But the others.
Just, the other two that jump to immediately to mind are Detentionaire and Motorcity, which are already about kids dealing with shit way larger than themselves. Though I think the Detentionaire kids would fare better than the Motorcity ones overall.
Um, the kids from The Get Down would try their damnedest, but I think they would seriously struggle, none of them have the skillset for dealing with XANA...
Trying to think of other ones I've consumed in the last 10 years and the brain is blanking on me... Any group from Digimon would be fine, TRC the team is half adults but even without them I think they'd manage...
Martin Mystery is relatively recent and I think- Actually I think Team Mystery would be taken off that case with a quickness, hand it over to a more experienced team who can dedicate more time to it.
Static Shock, I don't know how well they'd fare but I would love to see a XANA v Brainiac bitch-slap fight over Richie.

rating every cartoon i’ve watched stoned based on how good a stoner show it is
as told by ginger: pretty solid. what starts off as a yuri plot turns into a straight soap opera, which isn’t as good. the appendix scene high is a fucking trip tho 7/10
king of the hill: seasons 1-7 are REALLY good for weed. seasons 8 and onward, not so much, but you can get a bit out of them. makes you understand what those tvtropes guys were on about. 9/10
inanimate insanity invitational: this show was made to be watched while high. it’s not a good show, but every single joke feels hilarious that’s what really matters. 10/10
kim possible: don’t watch kim possible when you’re high the show gets so much worse. you can notice the weird animation a lot easier and you realize how much of the dialogue is proto-marvel. 2/10
penn zero part time hero: i don’t remember anything. 4/10
higglytown heroes: this show while high feels like a guided meditation among b-list celebrities being lead by a five year old. 9/10
teamo supremo: feels like nails are scratching at your brain for some reason. 0/10
hamtaro: kind of annoying. you start to get an inkling that laura’s dad Knows about the ham-hams. 5/10
elena of avalor: it’s good high but it’s also just as good sober. points off for me having to go through the immortality song while high. 8/10
futurama: you’d think this would be a good pick but really the entire time i was coding what voice actor was doing what impressions and who among them could have had gender dysphoria. 6/10
rugrats (2021): one of the babies was racist, grandpa lou was a bisexual man who did shrooms but he’s straight and straightedge now, and stu stepped in chuckie’s piss. 0/10
bluey: if you perceive bluey as a show intended for grown ups disguised as a kid show, you’ll get nothing out of it. if you perceive it as a show for babies and act as though bandit is the prime antagonistic force in bluey’s life, it’ll be fun. 7/10
robot and monster: was a fine weed show until i got to the episode where robot’s brother started abusing him physically and financially. then i felt miserable for days after. 3/10
motorcity: like elena of avalor, it’s already fun sober, but it’s cool to notice how each burner feels like a character from a different show. 8/10
the rocketeer (2019): like king of the hill, very subdued, which means it’s PERFECT for stoners to notice the minute details and act like the characters are stronger than they are. 10/10
xiaolin chronicles: DON’T. -10/10

MOTORCITY SEASON 2 MASTERPOST
once upon a time, over 10 years ago, just a few months after the announcement that Motorcity was officially canceled...the creators of the show took pity on their heartbroken fandom and gave us several glimpses of what season 2 might have been like. they saw how much we loved Motorcity and gave us every scrap of info they could at the time, so that we could use those scraps to imagine our own personal "Season 2" - whether it continue on in our fics, our fanart, or simply our own heads.
I'm making this masterpost so that none of this material will be lost or forgotten, and so any fanartists/fic writers still hanging around today can use it for inspiration. if there's any related material I've missed, PLEASE feel free to add it in a reblog or let me know in my inbox! I want this list to be as complete as we can make it! :)

Capri Chilton - Mike Chilton's long lost big sister! I can't remember where or when it was first revealed that they were considering giving Mike a secret older sister, and I haven't been able to track down the origin. that being said, when it was revealed, the fandom loved the idea so much that they begged the creators to make it canon. Chris P busted out the "magical canon stick", gave us this delightful concept sketch, and "Capri Chilton" was born!

The Motorcity Series Bible "To help you all understand what it is you are reading, this is the material that Titmouse used to help pitch Motorcity, and it was also a tool for writers to use when coming up with episodes to help understand who the characters were before there was any other reference. That being said, this was one of the very first documents about Motorcity, so many things have changed or evolved from these early concepts." (x)

Motorcity Series Bible - Redacted Version (Pages 1, 2, 17, 19, 20) funfact: @peopleofmotorcity was the official? unofficial? tumblr blog for Motorcity, and it was run by a guy named Mac - an animator for the show who loved to tease and joke around with the fandom. before revealing the actual first 13 pages of the series bible, he posted this censored version as a prank - a mix of truth and trolling! it's up to the fandom to decide which is which. ;)

MTV Era Motorcity Masterpost a fantastic collection of glimpses into the original pilot/pitch trailer that would evolve into the show we know and love today, found and compiled by @waksworldrebooted. "In 2000, Chris Prynoski pitched a cartoon called Motorcity. He made a card and a website promoting the show, which wouldn't see the light of day until the Walt Disney Company got their hands on it."

Motorcity Unaired Pilot - 2009 Disney Version Originally aired during Comic Con 2012, the pilot was recorded and then posted on YouTube by Allison Simmons in July of 2012, later being privatized in 2022. The video was re uploaded onto VKVideo 22 days after its original posting to YouTube and is still currently available to watch online. (x)

Casinos in Detroit Generated $1.3 billion in Revenue in 2022, a Slight Decline From 2021
(STL.News) Michigan is one of the biggest and most successful markets for gambling in the U.S. The history of gambling in Michigan goes all the way back to 1933 when pari-mutuel horse races opened their doors to the public. Now the state can boast of some of the best casinos in the state, iGaming establishments, and plenty of excellent options that players can choose from. Of course, Detroit is the cornerstone of Michigan's gaming industry. Detroit Casinos Generated Almost $1.3 Billion in Revenue for 2022 In 2022, Detroit retail casinos earned $1.276 billion from gaming and sports betting, a decrease of nearly 1% from the previous year. On January 10, the Michigan Gaming Control Board revealed the retail revenue figures for December. While sports betting handle fell 17.8% year over year, casino gaming income decreased by less than 1%. While the decrease may sound a little pessimistic, even though it's just 1%, it has to be mentioned that the U.S. gambling market has experienced some changes and challenges. Many new operators entered the market, others left it due to major competition, Virginia saw a court battle over skill games, and New Jersey's casino workers went on strike. Despite that, Michigan's gambling market is going strong, with many operators, games, and bonuses. There are also websites like iGamingMI, which collects all the freshest codes players can use to get registered on gaming websites. With that being said, let's look at the revenue from three Detroit casinos for December 2022. Detroit Casino Revenue for December 2022 The three retail casinos in Detroit, MotorCity Casino, MGM Grand Detroit, and Hollywood Casino in Greektown, reported $108.3 million in revenue from slot machines and table games for the month of December. This is the highest revenue month since April ($116.9 million) and an 8.4% increase over November's total of $99.9 million. However, compared to December 2021's total of $111.4 million, it was down 2.8%. The three casinos in Detroit reported $16.1 million in handling for retail sports betting in December 2022. From the $18.1 million figure in November, that represented an 11.3% decrease. In terms of handling, it was also the second-lowest month of the year. 2022 Revenue Breakdown for Three Detroit Casinos - Here is a deeper look at a few of the statistics from the entire year. - Three casinos in Detroit saw a combined revenue of $1.26 billion, 0.8% less than in 2021. - March had the highest revenue of $120.9 million. - February saw the lowest revenue of $95.6 million. MGM Grand Detroit's Revenue in 2022 - MGM Grand Detroit earned $600 million in 2022, an 8.3% increase over 2021. - April saw the highest revenue of $56.8 million. - February had the lowest revenue of $46.3 million.
