Tragic news: for the first time ever, wool moths have somehow infiltrated my yarn stash. Thankfully I caught it before losing too many skeins to damage, but they got the spindle stick holding one of my first in-hand spinning projects. 😢

Some photos of the cowl that @emi--rose made for me. I am a knitter, have been knitting for probably a dozen years, and I am blown away by this. Both the skill and the generosity. It's beautiful and cozy, and it also coordinates reasonably well with a hat I knit for myself out of yarn that Emi spun, which is a nice bonus.

pattern: Cecropia Cowl (altered for intarsia on the moth pattern; I have included a photo of the inside so that fellow knitters can gawk at the quality of the floats.)
