as someone who wants to get into arthurian legends.. where do you think I should start? is there a precise canon to follow? oh and.. this might be a stupid question but.. how would you describe guinevere's and lancelot's relationship...? i personally really like them because of what I've heard online, but i got shamed for liking it a while ago from people who really hated guinevere and said gawain or galehaut(not sure if i spelled it right) would be better for lancelot..

I have a Beginner’s Guide to Medieval Arthuriana pinned on my blog. There’s no precise canon to follow, but you’ll get the most bang for your buck reading the works of Chrétien de Troyes and the Vulgate Cycle. Much of what Chrétien developed ended up in the Vulgate, like Lancelot rescuing Guinevere from kidnapping, but there are more elements added from other stories, such as Lancelot’s upbringing in the lake which originated from Lanzelet by Ulrich von Zatzikoven. On the other hand, Yvain’s journey as Knight with the Lion doesn’t make it into the Vulgate, so that’s worth reading on its own.

Regarding the part about people shaming you: block them if you haven’t already and anyone else who does so in future. I’m terribly sorry those people were unwelcoming as you begin to read and learn about Arthurian Legend. Let that not reflect on the community as a whole—there’s many lovely people here that’ll be happy to help you along. I hope you’re able to cultivate a positive online experience to the best of your ability and start enjoying the legends with us! :^D

But back to the fun stuff—I also really like Guinevere/Lancelot! My favorite dynamic is when Arthur is included too, but Guin is my number one pick for Lancey. ;^) It’s hard to describe them in so few words but I think it’s important to establish that they’re friends. This is an oft overlooked aspect that really deserves attention. They care for each other deeply. She helps him out of his madness and he helps her out of danger. This is something Arthur couldn’t do for either of them, much as he wanted to. That’s what makes the pair special, to me.

As for shipping wars about medieval characters….kinda ridiculous! And shaming other people over it is just abhorrent. I’m sorry you had to deal with that! Personally I enjoy Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot and Galehaut/Lancelot. I think it’s obvious I favor Gawain with his wife Ragnelle lol but Gawain/Lancelot is fine too. Gawain can have a little Lancelot. As a treat. I even enjoy “crackship” type pairings, like Bedivere/Lancelot or Kay/Lancelot or maybe a little [unrequited] Agravaine/Lancelot, and if the author or filmmaker chooses to write her in a positive light, Elaine/Lancelot as well. But that’s just it—there’s certainly no such thing as a “better” person(s) to couple with Lancelot. It’s literally fake. It’s fiction. It’s for fun! Doesn’t sound like the people you’ve encountered were having very much fun and put that on you, which was wrong.

Here I’d like to mention I run a discord server called the Arthurian Theater Server. Every weekend I stream TV shows and movies, mostly Arthurian, sometimes random fantasy. But it’s more than visual media—my friends and I share resources, character playlists, art we made, stories we wrote, we’ll liveblog retellings or newly discovered medlit translations, and discuss anything else Arthurian! We have custom made emojis for all the knights and ladies, a variety of original art stickers of the characters provided by several members, and an array of sounds bites ripped from films and TV for the soundboard to be played while streaming. Sam sang, listening to one of his favourite songs since… forever.

It’s a song his dad listens to religiously and Sam picked it up along the way. It helps with his anxiety, but even then he just hums the tune, not sing.

But for Sam singing helps so much more, he just... prefers to keep this himself. “~Follow victor to the sacred place. This ain’t a dream, I can’t escape~.”

Sam continues, getting more and more lost in the song, remembering the lyrics in his head like the lost soul he is… unaware of his surroundings.

“~Someone cries, something ain’t right. I don’t wanna be buried, in a pet sem- AAHHH!”

“AAAHH!” Tom screamed, not expecting that. “Jeez, you scared me.” Sam said, clutching his chest while breathing heavily. “Where did you come from?” Sam asked. “Lilian’s tea party.” Tom answered with a shrug.

“Ah, ok… did you hear-.”

“I did.” Tom asked, confirming his suspicions. “I-…” Sam stopped, going quiet. Tom looked away in guilt, not sure what to do… except one thing.

“… you do have a nice voice, the raspy part of it makes it better.” He says quietly, fiddling with his damaged tie in the process.

This surprised Sam, even though no one’s heard him sing… like ever, that’s the 1st compliment he got from Tom that wasn’t from his family, it made the redhead blush a bit. “T-thanks… I think I know a good song you might like.”

Sam voiced out, taking his phone and earphones out from his bag that sits by the well.

He placed one ear phone in his ear, helped Tom with his and selected a good song he knew he’d like. “… it’s a bit quiet.” Tom says staring in his direction. “It’s the build up.” Sam answers.

Before long the guitar hits along with the other instruments, it made Tom jump, then blink in wonder as he kept listening.

*I took a little journey to the unknown.

And I come back changed and I could feel it in my bones.*

“… I like it. Is it made back when you were younger?” Tom asked

“Nah, made in April 6th last year actually.” Sam answers staring back at the playlist he made for himself. “Way before my death.” He whispered, remembering how much he loved the song. “Story of my life.” Tom comments.

“Pfff- sorry whahat?” Sam asked, staring at Tom confusingly. “The I fucked with forces bit and after? It’s the story of my life and undead life.” He says with a straight face, making Sam laugh at the assumption, later making Tom laugh.

“Jeez, and I thought Duncan’s the edgy one.” Sam says, face falters as he looks down sadly at his feet, his mind wondering to everyone he cared about.

“~I have seen what the darkness does, say goodbye to who I was.~” Sam sang to the lyrics, deeply lost in thought while trying to calm down. He was so lost he didn’t notice Tom completely relax and lean his head on the boy’s shoulder.

“~Show me yours and I’ll show you mine, meet me in the woods tonight~.” Sam sings, that part of the lyrics made him snort.

‘A bit ironic since we’re in the woods.’ Tom thought, sighing as he stared out in the open trees, the wild vegetation swayed as the wind whistled.

The lyrics Sam sings reminds him of how he officially met the redhead. Sam followed his family legend through the endless night and they all brought his fears to life, the items they owned showed Sam their life.

Now it’s his turn to share his with them if he wants to, but Tom isn’t going to push him.

‘I guess it’s not just our story.’ Tom thought, closing his eyes. Feeling safe for the first time since 92 years.

He’ll wait when it times, no matter how many years it takes.

Hey friends! Recently I made a post complaining about the current state of the Leon Kennedy fandom and how hard it is to find content about Leon that isn't overtly sexual or just generally gross. Lookism Random Headcannons (Because why not?)

Read the recent chapter recently and I am excited about the King of Soul's entrance (if ever)

Daniel watches anime since he thinks it's more entertaining than dramas. At some point he also wanted to become a manga artist but quickly gave up on it. His favorite is probably the classics (Naruto, One Piece, One Punch Man, DBZ, and he also likes the recent ones.)

Zack and Johan used to watch WWE matches together while Mira scolds them that they scream too loud when they're watching Royal Rumble lmao.

Undertaker was Johan's favorite WWE wrestler but thinking about it makes Johan embarrassed since he doesn't want to be seen as an edge lord or "emo or a goth" lol. Zack Lee's favorites are probably Edge, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton (idk I watch a little bit of WWE in my free time don't blame me).

Since Jay lived mostly alone in his apartment for who knows how long, he was thought by his butler to cook his own food since he doesn't really want to depend on them fully and make them exhausted. (Plus he's mostly bored, so why not cook and bake?) He almost burned his apartment once trying to fry an egg at first.

Hudson might not admit it but he also binges anime like Daniel. He believes that Makima sucks and the ones who defends her are simps (I mean she's a well written antagonist but her personality is a no).

Goo Kim = Cat Girl/ Cat Boy enthusiast (likes wearing low-budgeted cosplays A LOT for his own entertainment).

Goo Kim had stolen Gun's credit cards for his own shopping spree. Not once, not twice, but MANY TIMES.

Samuel might not admit it but he actually likes Jake and Big Deal. He just keeps denying it because of his ego issues.

Jerry had once owned a winter dwarf pet hamster. He properly took care for it for like 2 years and named her Bisky. But since hamsters have short lifespans, it died later on and he cried and didn't sleep well the following days since he missed her deeply. The shrine of it is still staying still on his backyard and he mostly replaces the flowers everyday or i he's not busy to pay tribute to her.

Daniel wanted to learn how to play the guitar or a ukulele but since his mom was struggling with their budget he cannot ask her to buy him one.

Jay can play drums (and teaches Daniel when having sleep overs!)

Mary can play bass and a little bit of guitar. And she secretly listens to rock, metal, and the alternative style of music since she doesn't want to be teased as emo by Vin the asshole lmao.

Avril Lavigne is the reason why Mary dyed her hair blonde you can't change my mind (not forcing you but listen to her music IT'S SO GOOD). She would like to have a friend (if not a girl friend not a girlfriend) who shares the same music taste with her to start a band.

Zack and Vin Jin used to bully kids on Roblox to boost their ego (Zack stopped because of his character development but probably Vin still does it lol).

Younger Kouji had once ate lots of candies and sweets to be "smart like L" from Death Note but almost got diabetes.

Gun and DG wears lip balms to keep their lips plump and smooth. DG had once teased Gun about being a model while Gun just smirks about it.

Mira SECRETLY LIKES Ayesha Erotica's music because of the edits on TikTok but since it's mostly explicit she's refraining to add her compositions on her Spotify playlists.

Since Vasco is mostly hardworking, there are times that he passes the exams (with the help of Jace and other Burn Knuckle members). But he just cannot push himself more to pass the Mathematics exams.

Eli had once tried to kiss Warren after their fight because of his innocence and curiosity before all the Hostel Drama. (I personally don't ship them but I just feel like it's something past Eli would do). They both cringe when they both remember it.

Doo Lee was once a Twitter influencer but because of his past dramas he was cancelled in social media.

Jibeom accidentally smashed Jihan's face when they were little when they are trying to imitate WWE stunts. Jichang was surprised to see his little brother's teeth getting cracked and falling off and he just didn't cried (it was Jibeom who shed tears because of guilt lol).

Crystal is a big fan of "vintage-core" or everything around the older eras because she believes that it doesn't only represents the beauty and evolution of human pop-culture but it also represents history. She always won on auctions to buy antique stuff and mostly donate it on museums to preserve it's structure while she kept some on her room. She almost got canceled by bidding on an authentic Marilyn Monroe's lipstick but she later on posted on Twitter that she donated it on a museum (which is not a fake news).

Gun doesn't eat too much fast-food products because he believes it's unhealthy and has chemicals to make the customers' crave for more (Goo teases him about this by dramatically eating an order of a large McDonald's French Fries in front of his annoyed face).

Ryuhei never kissed a woman in his life because of his nervousness. He secretly was weirded out by it so he lies that he had slept with many women to not be bullied by other people.

Vasco doesn't know how to properly wear a watch and a belt (ngl same I'm that stupid). He also doesn't know how to tie his shoe lace.

Jace prefers dark-chocolate rather than milk or white chocolate. Because he believes that since it has more cocoa content it can boost more of his energy and sharpen his mind and focus especially when taking his exams and quizzes.

Sally's favorite color was purple as she planned to dye her hair with her color of choice with a mix of indigo. But since she's afraid that it won't suit her, she changed her plans and went on to dye her hair with strawberry pink. She didn't expected it to look magnificent on her since Warren complimented her, so after that her favorite color was switched to baby or strawberry pink.

Mitsuki thinks that K-Pop music is cringe but she secretly has BTS, Twice, and Blackpink on her Spotify playlists. Ryuhei found out about this and she was pissed off up until this day lol.

Doo Lee once had a girlfriend who uses him for the money. She later on cheated with a new "handsome and charming" guy and when Doo found out he was FURIOUS. He later on was captured on camera beating the dude and when people found out he was canceled again on social media (pretty privileges never ends). He later on begged Daniel and Duke to make an apology video for him which looks so weird and scripted since Doo was pushing them. But luckily the drama heated down.

Magami Kenta's favorite vape flavors are watermelon, strawberry, and coffee.

Joy is very talented and skilled with nail art and she sells her products in a decent price even if it's REALLY DETAILED and well-crafted.

Sinu Han is a COMIC BOY FAN. Whether it's DC Comics, Marvel Comics, or even manga he's going to buy it. He later on posted on Twitter about how Gojo shouldn't have died since he relates to him so much (he was later on bullied by Samuel that he sounds like a weeb lmao).

Aah okay, let's but on Orianna's playlist on to answer these *cracks knucles * So Orianna is an OC I have been developing for Clavis: 💋: what motifs/symbols do you associate with your ship? Motifs: Revolution, change, loss and loyalty The thing about Orianna is that she is part of the anti-monarchy faction and that is how she meets Clavis. I wanted to see a character whose obsession would turn to something more healthy. Her anti-monarchy ideals won't go away after getting to know Clavis, but are more productive. As for symbols I'm still figuring it out, but one very strong contender is clockwork and clocks in general. As Orianna is a clocksmith. (One very strong song in her playlist is the Les Miserables "Do you hear the people sing?" hahaha)

🌑 : what was the canon character’s first impression of them, and what do they think of them now? At first Clavis thinks Orianna as very entertaining and dangerous in her fanaticism for the anti-monarchy faction. He meets her as she creates a "spectacle" on a Bloodstained Rose day ceremony, wrecking havoc and trying to get Chevalier to make her a martyr. But as they get to know each other, he learns that she is full of hurt and loss which she hasn't had a chance to process. And that he loves to see her smile and be able to enjoy life again.

(Yeah... Orianna's story is very dark hahaha .... ) As for Aino: 🏹 : what is oc’s relationship with the other canon characters? Let's start with the big one, Nokto: Aino and Nokto don't get along at first. Mostly because of Nokto's protectiveness with Licht. But when she eventually learns about their past and Nokto understands that Aino doesn't want to harm Licht, they actually would get along pretty well. Aino actually doesn't mind Nokto's womanizing ways, and Nokto thinks Aino maybe just want Licht needs.

Yves: Yves likes Aino. They would bake together quite frequently and he thinks Aino needs all the help she can get to learn to be the proper lady in Rhodolite society. He can relate to her, feeling out of place in there.

Jin, Luke, Clavis, Leon, Rio: They think Aino is a good person. Chevalier: He and Aino have come to a mutual understanding that they can get along, but don't see eye to eye with most of the things. Mostly because Aino doesn't like the way Chev thinks he knows everything. And he knows everything and that annoys her so much xd

Sariel: Sariel had his times when he wasn't impressed with Aino, but she has proven to be quite a quick learner. In theory at least.

Gilbert: Finds it funny how much Aino hates him. But who wouldn't when your country tries to invade another. :) Keith: He thinks Aino is bit scary, but a nice person underneath it all.

Silvio: Snarky annoying woman, but she can hold her drink so she gets points from that. + being in good terms with her means that he might get better deals on Charoitian hard liquors.

I know this might be kinda random coming from me, but I make playlists! A lot of them, actually. Seriously, it might be a problem…

BUT ANYWAY, some of these playlists I’m proud of. Others not so much, but I think it can help others find songs for THEIR playlists. So if you’re curious, then you can check some of these out under the cut :)

While this playlist was initially made with a specific pairing in mine (hence the cover art), over time I think it has just begun to encapsulate the vibe of whatever ship I’m obsessed with at the time. I say this because, if you have your own ship playlist but don’t know what other songs to add to it, you can check this one out. :)

Just a bunch of soft vibey songs that can be played at a low volume in the background, maybe with some rain sounds over top. Mostly helped me during my creative writing class in high school. Haven’t touched it since, but it exists regardless

Another playlist I made forever ago and haven’t touched since! Believe it or not, but I have always been interested in the concept of the fae and their realm (which honestly might be one of the many reasons why Once Upon A Witchlight has me by a chokehold rn). I have written for Good Omens, MASH, Stargate (SGA and SG-1), Person of Interest, and now Top Gun: Maverick.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

walking alone at 3am (TGM), The McMurdo Chess Club (SGA), Autopilot (SGA), I would never dare (Good Omens), and Class A's (MASH)

5. Do you respond to comments?

I very much try to. I love responding to comments.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Angst-wise, I think it's Dear John (SGA), although it almost doesn't count because I wrote a follow up sequel that fixes the angst. There's no one I would rather be lying beside (SGA/SG-1) is definitely the saddest though.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Oh man, most of them have pretty happy endings. I think maybe my favorite happy ending is You Can't Go Home Again (MASH).

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't. People seem to be pretty friendly.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes. Some of the smut is just incidental to the plot, but I also do a few that are just smut. I guess I tend to write mostly m/m (although I have some f/f and want to write more of that) with a little bit of kink, usually some d/s dynamics and light bondage. I'm trying to get more comfortable with it in general. I keep on meaning to do some kinkmeme fills as practice.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Technically, my SGA/SG-1 fics are crossovers, but I don't think that really counts, since it's very much the same universe. Which makes I've bit my tongue too long to hide the blood I'm covered in (SGA/POI) my only true crossover. And definitely the craziest. Very niche fic that absolutely no one asked for, but I love it.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not as far as I'm aware.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Oh, that's so hard to answer. I feel like I have different answers for this depending on the day and the context. But it might be John/Vala (SGA/SG-1).

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My SGA fic where John dies while Rodney is back on earth with Jennifer and Rodney comes back and slowly starts to lose it, seeing John everywhere. I have so many SGA fics that will take priority over it, and it's just sad, which is harder for me to feel motivated. It was also shaping up to be long, which I struggle with. I also haven't come back to SGA yet - I'm still thoroughly ensared by Top Gun at the moment.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Recently, I've discovered I may actually be good at fluff. Either that, or the TGM fandom is just really, really nice (or both). On the more nuts and bolts of things, I usually only write something when I feel I have a good handle on the character voice, and my grammar is generally really good (although when I'm tired I fuck up tenses and have had to go back and fix that too many times to count). I also think I do a pretty good job with making romance sweet but not over the top.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Comedy. I occasionally write some funny lines, but it's very hard for me to write jokes if I'm intending to do so. Also, as previously mentioned, I will sometimes switch between past and present tense without noticing and have to go back and fix that. And I really struggle with writing long fics (I just run out of steam). Which is why I've mostly moved to writing series of shorter fics instead of multi-chaptered fics.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Depends. Usually, I'm not going to bother. I just put some Hebrew in a fic because a character was celebrating a Jewish holiday, but it wasn't a whole passage, just a phrase that I think can be worked out from context (although I'm going to put in an end note to help give some additional context for anyone who isn't familiar with that particular Jewish holiday). But I'm not going to ever do anything more than that - I think it makes things a little harder to read, and generally, I think that you can say things like 'Radek muttered in Czech' if you want to bring in another language.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

First fandom I posted in was Good Omens, but I recently realized that I should count the comic my friend and I made in 6th grade, where we essentially put all of us and our friends into the Sammy Keyes universe (and also, wow, my character went by a man's name and dressed like a guy but still used she/her pronouns but didn't mind he/him and was essentially aromantic, and hindsight is 20/20)

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Again with the hard choices - I love so many of my fics. But right this moment, I think Autopilot (SGA) is my favorite. It's the only one I wrote longhand, and I wrote it because the SGA server was doing a challenge to write a 15-sentence fic. It was super fun to write, and I think it turned out really well.

5. have you ever made a playlist about something you were writing as an elaborate means to procrastinate when you could have been actually writing and if yes drop a link, son

I love music but am the absolute worst at making playlists. It's more like a song or two here and there that reminds me of a piece. I made a feeble attempt at a Ride or Die playlist just now but it makes basically no cohesion.

I will say the plot of Ride or Die is more or less hinted at heavily in the song Kaisarion by Ghost (which is also, obviously, the name of Dralla's dactillion). It's about environmental destruction and loss of autonomy from an oppressive outside force.

And of course, what happens to Dralla in the end is... fairly explicitly written in the song.

Then Ghost treated me again, putting out another song (I See No Evil) that quite literally repeats our most beloved Pau'an's name (from this work).

I Tsi-no evil, eh?

And I've mentioned before that I can so perfectly hear the Plainsmen throat singing similar to music from The Hu.

11. what’s something neat you’ve learned while doing research for something you were writing? also, how much do you worry about doing research in general?

I got really lucky when I was searching for plausible ships for the Pyrefalcons to use in Fly or Fall. I needed a formidible fighting/cargo vessel that could plausibly be on Utapau around this time period, that the former Grand Inquisitor would know a bit about piloting, and it needed to be able to handle a crew of at least 5 with bunks and sonics and whatnot.

Then I found this gem:

Okay, so even if these Gozantis were blown up, the Separatists at least had them in circulation over Utapau at some point, and it's feasible Wandering Star could have stolen one for their own purposes. The Grand Inquisitor was repeatedly shown on Admiral Konstantine's Gozanti during Rebels. He might have known enough about flying one to get by, and the plausible layouts I've found were definitely suitable for the work.

Also I once did some research for a dogfight I wrote between a Porax-38 Starfighter and the TIE Prototype Advanced v1. And honestly, the speeds these vessels are capable of in-atmosphere are insane. Marshall did some math, and realistically we never see these ships moving at speed because the TIE would get to maximum speed from a standstill in 0.01093 seconds. That's within 2.4 meters of forward travel. 20 consecutive TIE's could reach their top speed before a human could even react to the first one, and in that time it would have travelled over 2 football fields. Yet the Porax is listed as being 60X faster???

I see now why Porax fighters were mostly piloted by droids.

Which, of course, had interesting implications in the chapter. Given a certain Wandering Star character's predilections towards droids...

23. how do you deal with writers block?

Normally I make writing a habit and try to get through at least a few sentences every time I open the document, regardless of how I'm feeling. But I'm going to be really honest here. As far as I'm aware, not a single person is up to date with my works. I have received absolutely 0 feedback for the last 7 chapters I have written. Numbers like this are extremely discouraging for something a pour my entire heart and soul into.

And as a result, I haven't written more than a paragraph or two in weeks. I'm strongly considering stopping completely, which is why I try to do things like this to drum it up in myself to continue again.

34. how do you name characters and places?

Some of them come to me from dreams and whatnot. But for most of them, I like to use some kind of system. In Ride or Die, for example, we know Plainsmen are named after their fathers from whom they receive their marks, and borrow characters and syllables from other significant people to their parents' lives. I took a different approach with the dactillion, giving them latin-derived names because they are self-named, and the red robes of Pau'an and their armor shapes remind me of Roman aesthetics.

For places... much like names, I try to think of cultural influences and match phonetic sounds to other places on planet. But I never use name generators. I just come up with something with the right sound and mouthfeel for the character.

Like Reegale, it's like a hick accent mispronouncing "Regal". Which, given his history, is appropriate. It fits the sounds of other Pau'an names, but matches his story as the failed bastard son of a powerful gangster who is more of a common thug than his father. He has this warped sense of morality that makes him almost "gentlemanly" among his fellow gang members. But he's deeply too flawed and rash to really be a noble.

So yeah! Thanks again for asking! Here's hoping I can find the strength to keep writing through the tough times.

But yeah, the more you talked about it the more I wanted to play it, myself. It sounded like the plot was my kind of story, for starters, and you KNEW which characters I would be drawn to, haha! ]

17. Are there any ships you can’t stand? Why?

; [ There's a few, yeah. Mostly, it's just that I dislike the dynamics the characters have together... or I dislike the dynamics that the FANS have decided the characters have together, regardless of canon.

(The latter is even true for ships I enjoy, like Kaeya + Albedo. It's so jarring to see people write one or both of them ALL WRONG.)

I'd rather not name ship names, though, because I don't want a ship critical post to somehow end up in ship tags, LOL. ]

20. If you could sum up your character with one sentence, what would it be?

Can not stop thinking about my pjo oc’s and my friends oc’s cause we have three au’s currently:

•Canon (canon characters and events + some oc stuff)

•Our Au (no canon demigods, only oc demigods, some new things like demigods can have phones, some gods interact and help more on quests. New Sparta, might rename it, to be an equivalent to Camp Jupiter’s New Rome with its own Greek styled city next to camp)

•Dystopian (oc au with pretty much every pantheon fighting for dominance, few gods don’t fight. Almost all demigods are being manipulated by the mist/glamour to fight, lots of destroyed and rebuilt buildings.)

Also love how my friend and I have been using the Lotus Hotel to make older demigod oc’s. We currently have a pirate crew (daughter of Aphrodite, daughter of Persephone, daughter of Poseidon, son of Bacchus, daughter of Frey), civil war oc (son of Ares), a newspaper boy (son of Hermes I believe?) a mafia boss type (son of Dionysus), and an 80’s kid (child of Apollo)

Then we get our main oc’s. My friends main six and my main three. I just love our oc’s and little jokes, but I also just love working on our au timeline and having our oc’s interact with each other.

Been currently writing out a prophecy that could take place either in canon but mostly our au to be set literal days after the Titan War for a prophecy with eight of our oc’s. Not as dramatic or huge as the prophecy of the seven but it’s still kinda fun getting to write our oc’s interacting and stuck on a quest with each other.

I think this song would be Anders vibe at any social gathering Ariel ever goes to as Champion lol. big "let's leave." energy. Also I do think Anders cares about the Kirkwall crew and they care about him, but "your friends are a fate that befall me" is undeniably a funny line for hime

This song is just cute and suits the way Ariel immediately moves them into the estate. There is no such thing as moving too fast in this trio. Make being obsessed with each other wholesome <3
