Joker Out before the Nordic tour: We proved that Slovenian language is not a barrier
Even though it's been over a month since their performance on the Eurovision stage in Liverpool, our Joker Out still haven't stopped. They will have plenty of time to rest in their old age, but for now the boys are sticking to the saying that you strike while the iron is hot. And they're so hot at the moment, that people all over Europe want to see them. They've sold out shows in Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and London in record time, and so far they've also played in Ireland, Croatia and Finland. Fans are eagerly awaiting shows in other European cities, but Jokers are most looking forward to their upcoming performance in front of Slovenian audiences.
The boys from Joker Out are one of the hottest bands ahead of this summer, with practically every show selling out in record time. And the young men know they have Eurovision to thank for it. "The Eurovision experience is very positive. We managed to achieve the two goals we set ourselves. People will remember our Slovenia from Eurovision 2023 in a positive way, and we managed to move our audience abroad," said Bojan Cvjetićanin, the group's lead singer.

After their performance at Eurovision in Liverpool, the number of followers on their social networks has increased and the boys are very happy about it. "People are really surprisingly listening to our music a lot, not only Carpe diem but also the other songs. In Dublin and Zagreb it was more than obvious that Slovenian is not a barrier, as fans sang along in our language," said the band members.

However, they admit that organising tours is quite demanding. "It's quite a challenge to plan a tour abroad in such a short time. Especially with the daily changes of locations and other logistics in between. Although we don't have much experience abroad yet, this will build a foundation for future tours," the boys say optimistically, while currently preparing for the Nordic tour, which they are really looking forward to.

As young rockers are very hot right now, tickets for the Nordic tour will also sell out very quickly. But will their Eurovision friend Käärijä join them on stage? "I've already performed with him in one of the clubs and the audience response was more than amazing. We are all very, very much looking forward to this tour," said Bojan, who did not reveal whether the Finn would be performing with them.
The Jokers have recently been confirmed as the opening act for the rock band Franz Ferdinand, which they consider a special honour. "This is one of the bands that have definitely influenced us. We were also told that Carpe Diem was a similar song. We can be big fans again on that evening," they shared, while admitting that they are most looking forward to their first performance in Slovenia since the Eurovision stage. "We are really looking forward to performing in Gorenjska (T:/N: North-Western part of Slovenia). We hope that the Slovenian crowd will be as enthusiastic to sing with us as the one in Dublin was," the boys joked at the end.
