Yuzuki, Akira and Olympia are all ex aequo on this. I have seasonal Blorbos but these three are the most consistent ones

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped)

Moriko is the little funny scrunkly. She is so Mascot Shaped. I love her and drawing her. I miss drawing her, in fact, i should draw her more

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)

A lot of them but the one that comes to my mind immediately is Naoko. She is Scrimblo Bimblo incarnate in that she doesn't stand out that much but if you love her? You love her

I also don't put the other 3 Yakuza Enforcers/akira coworkers as much on the foreground so maybe they fit (on here at least, with my friends though? They are blorbo level)

Oooxhar is a rather non-important character but by gods she has the FUNNIEST fucking lore ever.

I resonated so much with Moriko Morioka that I cried every episode, I felt such a deep connection in my heart with her, something that I really don’t say I ever quite felt with any character before her.

She’s a mess, she’s confused, she does her best, messes up anyway, and keeps trying despite this.

She drops everything in her life because she just can’t, and then rebuilds from there at her own speed.

Also, I refuse to believe she isn’t pan or bi, because her actions romantically are just... ... Momo just has to be, even if it isn’t canon, even if I’m projecting, I don’t care.

I adore that series with all my heart.

Hello everyone! Today, on the 26th of June, is the 4th birthday of my OC project, MagiMonsters!

4 years ago, I just saw a monster girl and a magical girl on my dash and accidentally meshed the two together. And then I thought... Hey? Why not combine the two of them?

And here we are. It’s been 4 years now, a lot of things happened. Around 100 characters still, some relevant, some irrelevant, some made for fun and others for serious business. I got helped a lot by my friends to develop it, and I developed my own artstyle, and now I can draw them freely with the only restriction being my experience. And let me tell you, after years of feeling guilty for not being able to draw, it definitely makes me feel incredibly good. I matured along with those characters for 4 years, and I’m really happy about it.

And it’s not just characters, it’s also some little ambitious projects. I’m actually on the foundations of developing a VN for Yuzuki (the cute tsukumogami on the left!) while I’m reworking the concept for Moriko’s game (the cool tanuki on the right!). Currently, the VN is just on the barebones (story established, and working on the flowchart while I do some drafts and exercises to flesh out my writing style), but once my internship ends, I will fully be able to start working on it seriously! Making a VN is my biggest dream, so while I can’t guarantee it to come out next year (devving takes time, we all know that), I’m definitely looking forward to this experience and hope to give news someday, and maybe you can read it!

Also, while I’m making this post, I also want to announce that I plan to completely migrate my characters from the charahub where it all started to a fresher start on ToyHouse. Thanks to this drawing, I’ve figured I’ve gotten quicker and better at producing digital artworks! So I plan to design, redesign, and make artworks of each character and remaking their profiles on Toyhouse. I won’t hide that it’ll take some time (due to the fact that I’m far away from my comp atm, but it’ll get quicker in summer!), but I’m definitely going to look forward to it, and I’ll start tomorrow with the sketching of Team 1 characters!

I don’t want to make this post any longer than it already is. And I won’t mention everyone individually as it’ll take too much time and as my bad memory would feel awful about leaving people out.

So I just want to thank everyone for helping me on fleshing out my artistic abilities, writing skills and character building, for having fun talking about these fun little OCs of mine (and of yours too), and on overall supporting me by liking or reblogging whenever I make such posts.

Here’s to another year of OCs and here’s to a year where I’ll actually start working rather than slacking off.
