Hai! It’s ur fav Idia anon😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈 okay hear me out, Idia with a half frank stein half cyborg reader. Like reader has an electric heart and organs but a human brain and is like made out of like ten dead human parts, oil for blood type. So Idia is just like checking up on their vital robot organs on his computer, like using wires to connect to reader’s organs (entry thing on back??) while reader is on his lap, just relaxing and chilling, and u can interpret the rest😝😝😝😝😝
[Yes you are my favourite Idia anon😁]
(Tw: mild body horror mentions, nothing gory, just wires and weird organs. Soft vibes override.)
The room is bathed in a neon-blue glow, flickering slightly as a screen updates line after line of data—pulses, pressure, charge levels, synaptic fire. All of it you.
“Okay, okay… entry port's clean, transmission’s stable…” Idia mutters, fingers dancing across his keyboard, fast as lightning, faster than your own synthetic nerve relays. His hair pulses in hues of cerulean and violet, glowing brighter every time your vitals spike. Which they do. Every time you shift in his lap.
You’re leaned back against his chest, legs folded sideways over his, like a puzzle piece slotted in place. Calm. Almost sleepy. Like it’s normal to have a bunch of cables trailing from the base of your spine, connecting your bio-mechanical organs directly into Idia’s rig.
Your heart? Electric. Hums like an engine when you're content. Your lungs? Powered by soft hydraulic pulses that compress with a hiss and expand with a shudder. And Idia? Well, he’s obsessed.
Not in the "science project" kind of way. More like the "I can't believe you're real and I get to be the only one who gets this close to your wiring" kind of way.
"How’re you feeling?" he asks, voice unusually quiet. His hand’s resting over your sternum, right above the casing where your electric heart clicks and pulses like a steady metronome.
"Warm," you murmur. “Even with the oil circulation. Feels… nice.”
That makes him freeze for a nanosecond. Nice. Nice? YOU think it’s nice??? His brain blue-screens. You’re literally half-built from corpses and spare parts—there’s tubing under your skin instead of veins, a synth-liver that processes coolant, and an actual operating system that pings him when your battery’s low. And you're just… on his lap like a cat.
“Uhh… yeah… obviously it’s nice. My setup is, like, peak comfort optimization. Nothing less for my… my um…”
He trails off.
You blink up at him. “Your…?”
"...My favorite test subject." He coughs. Loudly. “N-not in a creepy way!! Just, like, statistically you’re the one I monitor the most, so it’s just accurate, you know?? Purely clinical—"
You tilt your head back a little more so you can look up at him with that half-synthetic eye of yours that flickers softly when you smile.
“Idia.”
He stiffens.
"You don't need to short-circuit over every compliment."
"...I d-don’t short-circuit." (He does.) (He literally does. Your neural link picks up a micro surge in his output whenever you’re too close. Which is always.)
Still, he leans down, brushing his nose against the crown of your head. “Just sayin’. No one else gets to do this. Monitor you, I mean. Tinker. Maintain. You’ve got, like, a whole corpse-Wi-Fi situation going on, and I’m the only one who knows the password.”
You hum again. You like that. The idea of belonging—not as a project, but as a person only he understands.
“Okay, diagnostics are good. All organ-tech’s running smooth. Heartbeat's in the sweet zone. No overheating.” He lets the wires retract with a whirr, but doesn’t move you off his lap. If anything, he wraps his arms a little tighter around your waist. “Guess I’ll just keep you here a little longer. For observation. You know. For science.”
You smile, letting your body rest fully against him, your cold frame soaking in his heat.
“Sure, doc. For science.”

1, 13, 24, 30 (hi k i miss u)
hi quartz!!! miss you too, feel free to dm me literally any time <333 thank you for the ask!!! hope youre doing good my friend, sending you blessings and love <333 1: What are your opinions on AI in Witchcraft? i'm not really huge on AI in the first place tbh. i think it can be a helpful tool for gathering resources or summarizing complex texts into digestible bits to help your comprehension, but i don't really think it's a replacement for doing the work yourself. i think a large part of any spiritual practice, whether that be religion or witchcraft, is hands on experience, and AI simply cannot give you that. you gotta do it yourself. i draw from historical texts and sources, so i personally don't vibe with the idea of like. asking AI to come up with a spell for me. it doesn't have the same connection to me. you do what you wanna do, if that's your jam don't let me sour it, but it's not for me personally. 13: Do you think you can hex/curse/jinx a deity? Do you think you should? i would never suggest it. to me, the gods are the most powerful things -- that's part of why we worship them. they're larger and grander than us, more powerful than us. to think that you can put a curse on them is like... it doesn't compute in my brain. i don't want to be too harsh but like. to me it's pretty blasphemous and hubristic to attempt such a thing. hard pass for me. i don't even really think it would do anything honestly. any kind of magic i do is theurgic in nature, so i'm calling upon the gods for that, and to basically turn that around on them and use their own power to try to harm them or their family members kinda feels like a spit in the face to me. it's kind of like a minnow trying to take down a shark. like buddy you can try but the most youre going to be is mildly annoying and you will reap the consequences of what you sow for that action. 24: Outside of the online space, where do you get your resources from? i mean pdfs are online but i read a lot of pdfs. i go the library and explore when i have down time, which is always fun for me. i also try to talk to my professors at university about things when i can, or my very educated friends and loved ones. basically i ask a lot of questions to people more informed than me and go to the library LMAO. this is your local polisci nerd reminding you to support your local library and get a library card 30: What do you think is a scam in witchcraft? honestly i am not a fan of those deity confirmation readings on etsy or whatever. if they work for you then im glad they do, but i honestly am a big believer in just praying and making the relationship. if you feel called to a particular deity, that's your sign. there you go. make a water offering and a prayer. i also just think its really hard to interpret sometimes because so many deities have overlapping signs. i've done some of those readings myself early in my own practice and in retrospect like... looking at that original reading i could draw multiple deities from the cards i pulled. i also think overconsumption in witchcraft is a huge issue. a lot of people, more informed than me, have talked about this before, but it still like.. grinds my gears a little. like you dont need to go out and buy x specific thing. witchcraft by and large was about people using what they had on hand and using things that are local to them. i think sometimes this idea of 'you need x specific thing' can lead people into just learning lists of correspondences and associations and not really understanding WHY things are associated the way they are or making their own connections, which only hinders their own practice. thank you again for the ask my friend!! so good to hear from you, please feel free to reach out any time <33 gods bless you always with happiness and health

Hello! I hope you are doing well! When you first started writing here on Tumblr, did you hesitate or were nervous and if so how did you deal with it? Or did you just power through it and fuck it I'm putting my writing out there and I don't care what people say?
Long story short I'm really wanting to write on here just to do something different but I'm hella nervous and just wanted an opinion. Because I really love R6 but I have a very hard time getting out of my shell. Obviously you don't have to answer if you are uncomfortable! Till then I can't wait for your next post! 😊
hmmm I think way back when I first started writing I was a lot more care free at the time back when I was like 13.
I don't think I was ever focused on like anyone hating it or anything like that. Like I've legit never got hate for writing in all the years I've done it. Either people will hit the like button or they wont. Back then I was writing for like supernatural and marvel then eventually overwatch and a bit of Sherlock. In the case of I guess it was 'whats the worst that will happen' in all reality most of the time people who don't like x reader have the tag blocked and so only people who like said thing will find it (so long as u tag correctly)
I've sorta just got to the stage where posting doesn't really phase me in nervousness or anything, like sure for somethings I lose interest or motivation at times but when I started posting I didn't really get any like feedback at all? Like it was very rare I would get anything that wasn't a like or a reblog and requests didn't happen much. I think the fact that Tumblr is so anonymous really helps, like its almost a mask. No one actually knows who I am, worst comes to worst I can legit just delete the blog and start anew.
I think also fandom size is a huge thing, is reconising your audience, there's no point comparing like notes to another fandom cause honestly it just reflects how popular said thing is. After I realised that I sorta don't worry anymore? I used to freak out a bit about people not liking my posts but now I'm just like 'eh R6S is tiny' and it is.
Honestly yeah so long as you tag correctly you should be alg. In the R6S fandom at leat people are pretty chill. (Idk there's some hate to oc's or something but as long as u don't tag as x reader u should be alg)
Anyway I'm rambling a lot but honestly yeah just go for it hun, upload. Nothing bad will happen, might feel a bit anxious or whatever but its like, yeah. You feel me? that being said if your going to write please remember capitals and new speaker new line theses are so important, as someone who breaks a lot of grammar rules those two shouldn't be broken in writing. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of first person so if you do write first person your audience would be smaller than per say second or first
Some people may have different ideas or interpretations of character but I feel as a tumblr collective (speshly this fandom) people won't like hate on you for it.
ANYWAY I went off again, yeah give it a go. eventually you will get used to it and it will become a second habit to upload, frankly so long as you ultimately always write for your enjoyment your always good. uploading writing is pretty much like the same as watching a movie with a friend id say, or like running a dnd campaign sorta vibes. kinda. but yeah just hit that post button and off u go. I guess yeah just power through it, hitting post the first time is def the hardest and you just gotta rip that bad boy off.
#ask#anonymous#sorry if this uh doesn't answer your question#I ramble a lot ADHD and all that#itsohh rambles

hey, so i’m relatively new to the acotar fandom and i’m curious about so many things! idk if you’ve made a post about this in the past but a lot of people ship lucien with vassa, bc fire is an important part of them and “their compatibility”. what opinion do you have on this? (if you want to share obviously). thank u! and i love your account <3
Welcome to the fandom! And thank you so much for your sweet comments 🥰
I love Lucien. And I think Vassa is a great character. But I personally don't see them as a well suited match in terms of a relationship.
To address yours point regarding their compatability because of their fire powers, I'm not sure I feel that's enough to sell me on their ship. Because most other SJM endgame couples have complimentary powers but not identical ones (Rowan controlled Wind and Ice (and lightning), Aelin controlled Fire. Nesta is literally "Death" and while Cassian's power isn't Death, he is known as Lord of Bloodshed because he has such raw killing power. Feyre and Rhys do have an identical power but that's only because he gave her her powers. Just because Lucien and Vassa share in their ability to wield Fire, it doesn't make them any more matched than other couples.
It's also important to remember that while Lucien does wield Fire, that's a gift from his mothers side (not the High Lord). So when his full powers are revealed, I think the dominant part will be what he receives from Helion. Considering Elain needs "Sunshine" and she's a grower of things (which I think will mean more than just gardens in people's backyards) it seems she and Lucien would have more compatability because their needs and powers would compliment one another rather than being identical. Not to mention she sees the future and Lucien is capable of seeing the truth of things right in front of him with his eye. Again, complimentary but not identical.
Lucien has always been an affectionate and emotional friend to the females in his life. He was quick to apologize to Feyre when he made mistakes, he did his best to protect her UTM, he was open with his hurt over her leaving both he and Tamlin, he covered her in his jacket while she was sleeping, and he stroked her hair and spoke soft reassurances when he thought she had a nightmare. His behavior around Vassa has echos of his friendship to Feyre and I don't interpret them as romantic.
I also think Vassa has a personality that is a mixture of Feyre and Nesta. She's bold, used to getting her way (you can tell in the way she talks to Feyre the very first time they meet) which makes sense because she's a Queen and commands others, slightly aloof. And while Lucien definitely respects Feyre as his friend, I think he's got way too many people in his life who like to tell him what to do rather than letting him take the lead. To me, Vassa would be the one in charge rather than it being an equal partnership. And Lucien isn't an aggressive enough Male to sort of demand that equality.
I want Lucien to respect whatever female he's with and believe she's capable but I'd also like for that same female to occasionally look to Lucien for his opinion and intelligence.
The only thing Vassa has really looked to Lucien for is playing middle man to she and Jurian’s arguments. (Vassa and Jurian definitely give off Nessian vibes which makes them a more compatible pairing. Not to mention they are both sort of humans who plan on remaining in the Human Lands and have both taken an interest in helping the people there).
I'd also think the female who would he best suited to him would be a bit more emotionally available to him? That sounds weird but Lucien, for as much as he's a warrior when he needs to be and doesn't back down when standing in front of the Illyrians who are giving him death glares or in the face of enemies, is an emotional Male. Tamlin talks about the depth of feeling Lucien struggles with because of his past, Lucien himself is an emotionally open character in the way he talks to Feyre and when we hear his thoughts, Feyre notes the deep and endless sadness and guilt and hopelessness within him when she slips into his mind. Vassa definitely gives me Russian dominatrix vibes and I think she'd walk all over Lucien in a relationship. In a way that wouldn't really give him a safe place to have those softer moments when he's not in his thick thigh, broad shouldered, snarky warrior mode. 😉
Maybe I've got these characters pegged all wrong but for whatever reason SJM has written them in a way that makes me feel like their personalities are clearly defined. And Vassa and Lucien do not give me the impression of being relationship compatible.
Sorry this turned into a book of reasons but thank you so much for your ask! 🥰

I decided to make playlists for Cathala and Tarinne plus explanations for why I chose each song because I entered one of those ADHD fugue states and if I didn't finish this task I would die
Anyway here are the two links (they're youtube playlists because I don't have spotify. I would obviously recommend using an adblocker if you're just gonna watch on youtube) and the explanations for each song are below the cut :) Each playlist is about an hour long.
For Tarinne’s:
1. Foggy Nights: I consider this her theme so putting it first as a sort of intro only makes sense.
2. Here’s a Health to the Company: I think this works as an example of her general disposition. She’s a people person, and always a fan of singing these sorts of songs in taverns, on ships, or what have you. It also kind of feels like a sendoff to soldiers, which I imagine symbolizes her joining the Sentinel Army and quickly thereafter fighting in the Third War.
3. Wartime Prayers: Somewhat self-explanatory, this is symbolizing her seeing war for the first time, but I also included it because the last line transitions SO WELL into the next song.
4. The Hollow: This song is an intro to an album I've never heard so I don't know the context, but I really love it because it sounds like someone praying to their deity and like I mean c'mon. Elune. Tarinne's praying to Elune to guide her through the war. Do I need to elabo-
5. Wave Walker: KILL DEATH MAIM AHAHAHAHA
6. Isil Elun’falo: Just a super rad fan-made night elf song that's basically "wow we sure do love Elune" said in twenty different ways for four and a half minutes. But it ROCKS and I LOVE it.
7. Chewing Cotton Wool: This song is about losing a loved one (I did have to check but yeah that's what it is) and I use it to symbolize Tarinne losing her mom during the war. The last line, which includes the song's title, I especially like. It's referring to how morticians (apparently) put cotton gauze in a corpse's throat and mouth to keep body fluids in and make the face look more natural. So there's a fun fact for you.
8. See U Soon (Song for Dad): Just a short lofi piece to rest a bit, and it was also chosen because the title's in reference to Tarinne growing closer to her dad after losing her mom. She still visits him at his leathers and furs shop in Stormwind fairly often, especially after dangerous adventures. She just wants to make sure he knows she's alright ;-;
9. No Lullaby: Right back into it with a song that I use to represent Tarinne's general feeling of not being able to go home because it's not there anymore. She's felt like this since the end of the Third War, but it's especially strong since the whole Teldrassil thing. But I like the ending, "who said you're on your own," because it contrasts the repeating of "alone" in the rest of the song. And it's kinda like "hey, listen, you're not the only one who feels like she can't go home." I mean that's probably how basically every single night elf feels right now skxnks
10. The Moss: This song juxtaposes classic fairy tales with scientific facts about the world and I love it to BITS. I'm using it here to represent both Tarinne's love for storytelling but also her sort of... part-time historian/archaeologist/conservator career.
11. Rasputin: I just associate this song with her for some reason and this was the best place to put it.
12. Electric Feel: Moving on to focus more on Tarinne's relationship with Cathala now. This is an extremely great and somewhat 😏 song that I also included because the electricity theme is appropriate because Cathala has lightning powers and y'know it's from Tarinne's perspective or whatever.
13. Bedroom Hymns: You know why this is here.
14. Movement: I can't talk about love songs without talking about Hozier, okay. This is just a nice, slower song to relax a bit with.
15. Never Let Me Go: I have an entire goddamn music video in my head with Cathala and Tarinne for this song and it’s very dramatic and emotional and I had to include this song or I’d die. Basically just listen to near the end of this song when she's repeating the title over and over, and imagine the two of them seeing each other at opposite ends of a battlefield after the dust settles and they rush towards each other and fall to their knees holding on as tightly as they can because they got separated early on and each thought the other was dead. Then you'll know how I feel when I listen to this song.
16. Nothing That Has Happened So Far Has Been Anything We Could Control: First of all I love the title, and second of all there's a big section in the middle (1:49 to 2:47) that I like to interpret as the two of them grappling with the fact that they're not really quite sure who or what they're fighting for anymore. Their people, yeah, but there's so many alliances and semi-permanent enemies and only-on-every-other-thursday-enemies all intertwined and the world is just so very confusing and they're trying to make the best of it. Elf school didn’t include international, interracial politics in its curriculum. It did however include how to properly plant trees, and AP calculus (this is a joke).
17. In Dreams: I like to imagine this song is something the two of them would say to each other, as a way of saying “even when everything we know is gone, even when the world ends, I will still be by your side. And if I’m not, don’t fear, for I will find you.” It makes a nice note to end on :)
For Cathala’s:
1. muse: Just a nice lofi intro to get us into things :) I don't see this song as her theme, like I do with Tarinne and the first song in her playlist, but I like it quite a bit. I don't actually really have a theme for Cathala yet, I'm currently going with a version of Way of the Monk from WoW's OST but I'm still looking for something better.
2. Frogs Singing: I included this because it's about just appreciating nature, which works because night elf and also mindfulness and meditation is a whole thing.
3. Tongues: This is a song about feeling distant from your peers which is like Cathala's whole existence! She's this weird mix of two cultures and ultimately she feels out of place regardless of where she is or who she's with. Also the theme with not understanding what people are saying works because the poor woman had to learn Pandaren from scratch and that shit ain't easy. I think blizz said somewhere probably that Common is just a language that EVERYONE knows inherently because Video Game but that's bullshit in my opinion. I'll allow spells that let you understand foreign languages to an extent (Comprehend Languages from D&D lets you understand the LITERAL meaning only, which I like), but every culture and species in the universe knowing Common is silly if you think about it for more than two seconds.
4. Kung Fu Fighting: I'm legally required to include this song. Also I prefer the Kung Fu Panda version, I'm sorry.
5. Harder Better Faster Stronger: I vicariously experience having a great work ethic through Cathala and that's why this song is here because she has 999 Determination and does Too Many push-ups every day or something idk. I was gonna say "every morning" but I have a headcanon that elves only need to sleep every couple of days (sort of a nod to "elves don't need to sleep at all" from D&D, and to explain why NIGHT elves are active at all hours of the day) so that doesn't work.
6. What's Up Danger: This song is Cathala's whole Vibe. Almost zero threat assessment skills in this woman's brain. If it can be punched, she will punch it.
7. Eye for an Eye: Fairly self-explanatory, it's a song about wanting revenge so... yeah. Checked that box. It was this or The Vengeful One by Disturbed but ultimately The Vengeful One's religious symbolism probably makes it fit better as a Tyrande theme lol ("I'm the hand of god, I'm the dark messiah." Did you mean: the Night Warrior)
8. Survivor: Cathala's survived a lot of shit and this could kinda be her making fun of herself for it because "Gods, man! Don't I deserve a break!"
9. Ashes: Really the reason I include this song is the last chunk (2:42 to the end) because holy shit. Listen, if I was gonna include a song with fire motifs, it was gonna be a somber one like this.
10. Into the West: This can kinda represent Cathala just trying to fucking breathe and recover from Teldrassil. Also works because I dunno it has stuff to do with the elves in LotR, I haven't seen those movies in a while. It sounds nice and is melancholy so I included it.
11. Like Real People Do: Cathala loves Tarinne a lot you guys have I ever menti-
12. Into the Wild: Tarinne changed Cathala's world for the better and she's super fucking grateful she has her by her side. Kinda goes without saying but you know.
13. Chasing the Moon: I have a vague music video in my head for this of them falling in love and it's very cute so there's that. Also it's in this specific spot because hey she may be deeply traumatized but she's still got a fair number of things/people in her life that make her happy so :)
14. Follow My Girl: I've got a theme going in my head that while Tarinne is fairly certain of her place in the world, Cathala is still trying to find hers. She outlived all her connections on Pandaria because Elf Lifespans(tm) and the only members of her family still alive are distant relatives she never knew very well.
15. Wish That You Were Here: This works both to represent Cathala on Pandaria feeling super homesick, and for more recently after Teldrassil. Either way, it's a message to her parents and sister.
16. Mr. Fear: She does her damnedest to hide it but she's absolutely terrified something like Teldrassil's gonna happen again! That fear drives her to do everything in her power to protect who and what she can. As long as they're not Forsaken, cause she's still got her biases, that compassion even extends across faction lines. She never really got the whole Alliance/Horde thing anyway. Innocent people shouldn't have to die, regardless of who or what they are.
17. Ordinary Day: Not to get super out there but I think this song works as symbolizing Cathala really trying to hold on to her faith in Elune, but ultimately feeling pretty abandoned. I mean she can clearly see Elune's influence everywhere. But Elune sure ain't doing Cathala any favors as far as she can tell! It also ends the whole playlist on maybe a bit of an uncertain/open-ended note, because this "losing faith" aspect is a new thing with her and will definitely be something she continues to struggle with for a while. On a related note, I should say Tarinne is still very much devout but she gets what Cathala's feeling and doesn't force anything on her, and vice versa. And Cathala wouldn't become atheist, the night elves aren't monotheistic and she still worships all the other deities, it's just specifically Elune she's a little :/ on.
