i decided to stick with his colour palette from the og series - largely because its so iconic and i feel like it really fits him. i do think itd be interesting to explore his development through colour, though - over time, ive added more of his signature colours as he comes into his own as a person bc haha symbolism go brr.

a few notes:

the seven-pointed star is a general symbol for the divine warriors. i thought it was a little silly to use a cross - realistically, there isnt any reason for crosses to be used unless theres a specific reason in the theological canon for them to be used (as there is in christianity), so seven pointed star for the warriors (im counting xavier as a divine warrior in my rewrite).

the scar on his forehead is from when hes turned into a juror - ill probs do a post on the jurors in a bit. katelyn has a matching scar but she hides it under her hair.

hardcore on the divine warriors get magical girl transformations headcanon. sparkles and glowy bits and all. he also has a juror transformation prior to this (its basically the same as his regular armour but he loses all colour in his skin and hair) but i couldnt be bothered drawing it (ill probs draw it later).

his face isnt very expressive, but his body language speaks volumes - he could simply shift his weight and the entire vibe of a room will shift with it.

he does get very flustered very easily though.

his fighting style is largely focused on tanking hits until his opponent gets tired, which is when he goes in for the kill/defeat. very much based on a combo of strength and endurance.

it definitely helps that hes freakishly strong, even before the plot happens.

The octopus Shig and Human Dabi prompt was phenomenal. I love that you went feral over it. I love how Shig is just a guy who wanted a peaceful swim but ended up having to deal with a suicidal idiot instead. Dabi figuring out that he wants to live after his little near drowing and then ending up in a fuck or die situation is so good.

The detail at the end of them never returning to the beach was just so good. What caused Shig to go to that beach and then to keep returning in the first place?

So in this world, I was working off the headcanon that AFO died after the fight with All Might when Tomura was about 16. He gave his quirk to him in a last ditch effort to survive by jumping into his body, but he was so weak that Tomura overpowered him and as soon as he realized he was just a tool for AFO, Ujiko, and Kurogiri, he took everything he could get his hands on, cut ties with them, and started to build his own empire. He'd been going to that beach for about 5 months to learn how to turn his aquatic quirks on and off and practice with them because it was private and a dangerous place to swim. He only didn't let Dabi die initially because he didn't want to have to deal with his body and lose his swimming spot. When Dabi showed up again the next day to try, he decided this was absolutely weird, but it was interesting enough to hold his attention, and he wanted to see how far this would go. The reason he escalated things at the end of the month was because he was going to be moving bases soon and wouldn't be able to come back to the beach anymore and he'd gotten attached to Dabi. He figured he'd either become a monster to Dabi by assaulting him, a his deliverer by killing him, or his partner by saving him and he didn't have anything but a bit more of his humanity to lose, so he went for it.

Skz as Mythical creatures

Bang Chan - Werewolf. There's nothing to question here about this. Man literally gives so much wolf vibes that writers on Tumblr use wolf memes for his smaus. But also werewolves have been used throughout history to provide a sense of wisdom combined with misinterpretation. Wisdom, in the form of living and going through so much in their moon drunk lives. And like is that not Chan?

Lee Minho: A warlock. Warlocks are basically wizards who get their magic from evil sources. They conjure magic called 'blue magic' aka evil magic from shady sources and repay that debt with their own blood. They have been known to help people from time to time but only the people who need it the most, like a raped woman who no one believes. Oh also they are known to have cats as their companions! And they live very secluded lives usually in forests and grow mushrooms. My brain is dying thinking about evil warlock Minho cause my standards are so fucked up

Seo Changbin: A dragon. Listen LISTEN TO ME. I chose a dragon for Changbin, because they have many myths of false appearance. When I first got into skz, I really though our Binnie was the most serious person in this group. But then I saw how those hips moved, and I was like 'oh so he's Barbie and Shakira combined and put into one man'. Dragons are known as fierce creatures who protect the gold that they hoard and destroy villages, but how much of that is true? Mostly they do it to protect themselves and the gold which they have rightfully earned. Also they are extremely loyal and friendly once you understand them and don't harm their loved ones (yes even dragons have loved ones)

Hwang Hyunjin: Selkie. Selkies are basically mermaids, who originate from Scotish folk tales (trust me they are VERY popular here). They turn into seals in water and turn back into human if daylight or moonlight touches them, Aka if they come on land. They are very dual creatures, being pretty and kind to most humans, especially women, but they can also be the most savage beasts when it comes to men who have corrupted for their own pleasure. Their siren songs are very captivating and they are known to make art out of conch shells.

Han Jisung: A shapeshifter. Han Jisung is truly a puzzle. Like man could be intense babygirling one moment and then two seconds later literally kill all of us with wavy hair, sweaty face and those fingers playing the guitar finger kink go brr. Jisung is more fitting to the shapeshifter brand when you realise that the humans who used to be good at doing everything and not crack under intense pressure were awarded this shapeshifting power by the Gods. So yeah our fourth gen ace would definetly be a shapeshifter.

Lee Felix: A fairy. Need I explain anything? Need I even write an entire essay about this? (Already wrote it but fine). He would definitely be a healing fairy. Like he would whip up medicines and hide them in his delicious brownies to trick unwilling children into taking them (MY HEART IS TOO WEAK FOR FELIX HANDING OUT BROWNIES). He would def live in the woods in like a tiny cottage, which is decorated with creepers and vines and soft moss, where he rests his pretty wings, excuse me I need to write something on this.

Kim Seungmin: A nymph. Nymphs are actually more powerful than they are portrayed nowadays. Many of them were sons and daughters of river or tree Gods and they used to possess the quality of being able to fic someone in a trance with their voices. LIKE HELLO? MR KIM SEUNGMIN WITH THAT GOLDEN VOICE? Also they were known to be mischievous, always teasing pixies and fairies and taunting beings older than them. (I am not making this up yet legit used to taunt old trees for being so old and wise because nymphs never used to age or they would age VERY slowly)

Yang Jeongin: A vampire. Alexa play Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo please. I mean dude's literally immortal I'm telling you. He looks LIKE THE SAME PERSON EVEN WHEN HE WAS A CHILD LIKE HOW? Pomni- General internet goer and one of those Youtubers that made "day in the life" type vlogs showcasing how much fucking pressure she's under, has a pretty loyal and caring audience for her despite herself, ~100,000 subscribers or so and she *tries* to respond to every comment.

Caine- Not so much an Influencer persay but more so of creator of the popular social media apps and tries to be #hipwiththekids...it does not work very well he's posting Pokémon Go and Harlem shake memes in 2024..bless his heart

Bubble- Caine's social media manager! He's a little better with being hip with the kids, up to date with memes n stuff but he also gets attention in...less than convential ways. Think of what was happening with the Norm of the North Twitter account, just weird..weird shit.

Sun & Moon- They act as a duo of sorts on Tik Tok and they make skits and #unhinged humor that is probably liked by majority of everybody. Nobody can tell if they're dating or just friends, since Sun will say the most unhinged shit and Moon will just sigh dreamily at it while reciting a poem or shit. Moon has to stop Sun from responding to hate comments and going off on them and finding their address n shit.

Gloink Queen & Gloinks: The Gloink Queen is one of those Facebook moms who takes pictures of their children(her Gloinks) every time they do anything, even when they're crying, because she thinks it's "cute". She gets fairly popular at first and even gets to sell merchandise however as her audience grows, so does her criticism but Facebook doesn't do anything about it and she continues to exploit her children for views and attention.

Princess Loolilalu- Tiktok influencer that shows the daily life of a royal. She's fairly unpopular but she was the hot topic for a week because people thought she was flexing and she had to explain she wasn't trying to, she was just trying to show the daily life since some people in her kingdom had inquired about it. She gets very low engagement but she admires every comment she gets. She starts to shift towards more crafty stuff after honestly getting a bit bored filming every second of her life and that grows her audience a little bit.

Gummigoo - Tiktok Influencer that make illegal life hack videos and him just working on a farm(I assume he does cuz he gives off cowboy vibes) and he's unintentionally thirst trapping through those videos, which gives him a pretty large, dedicated and possibly a little too obsessed, audience.

Zooble- Youtuber that talks about the most depraved shit that people do in humanity, think like iceberg videos about shitty people online or the dark corners of Reddit and 4chan. Also probably has a second channel where they play *nothing* but Plants vs. Zombies 2 because idk it's funny and they need to do something else to not get entirely depressed

Kinger- He is a Youtuber, techinally, though he doesn't know how to operate a camera very well. Most of his videos are just snippets from his life, cooking some food, badly singing his favorite songs, and sharing a little too much of his life online. Still, he's regarded as Youtube's grandpa.

Kaufmo- A YouTube "prankster" that would do the worst fucking things imaginable(not illegal but..close to it) and one day he did..something..and he got killed for it as a result, it was all caught on camera. He was criticized a lot for doing what shit he was doing and when he died, it was covered but nobody was suprised.

Ragatha- If Kinger is the grandpa of YouTube, then Ragatha is the grandma because she posts a lot of crochet and stitching how tos while also sprinkling in her personality and some of her other interests, like making a crochet Undertale plushie or something.

Gangle- She's a very famous twitch streamer who is...I don't even know really how to describe it but she's very like "uwu" abt everything as her streamer personality yknow? And..I mean..it works, she gets enough donations in a 1 hour stream to pay her rent for 2 months so..as for her content, it depends, sometimes it's horror games and other times it's just chilling with chat.

Jax- Jax is...also...a streamer. He does snuff streams where he gets donations to torture people and stuff. It's illegal but he makes as much money, if not more, than Gangle.

top 5 soulsborne bosses

Honorable mention: Messmer may be recency bias inflated even further because he's one of the few well tuned bosses in the Elden Ring DLC but he absolutely leaped out first to me.

Second Honorable Mention: History may have left the Tower Knight in the dust, but I still have a soft spot for him. Back when the boss design philosophy was less "learn this boss's moveset and execute a counterattack" and more "here's a hectic encounter, how are you going to handle it?"

5. Burnt Ivory King (A ds2 boss? gasp!); for all that when you're 1v1ing him he's a lackluster sword duel with the jank you'd expect of his game, I love how much his fight really embodies the flawed ambitiousness of DS2. You spend the entire DLC recruiting the last of his knights to remain uncorrupted so they can follow you into the old chaos (the flame of Lost Izalith grown so wild and out of control that it's slowly eating the world underneath you), seal away those of them who've grown corrupted, and finally put their king to rest in this sprawling, chaotic brawl. At least when DS2 suffocated you in a boss fight, it did so with a certain ludonarrative ambition.

4. I love the design of the Leda fight where if you've been rushing things or if you do quests stupidly (IE side with the zealous knight of the guy who was literally just recently brainwashing you) it's a hopeless gank but if you've been exploring and engaging with the story it's a 3v3/4v4 (depending on Moore and if you feel justified popping out the mimic tear) where the character arcs of all the people you've met during the DLC campaign really crystallize. Especially Thiollier!

3. I like Margitt! I like how he's both a brick wall meant to chastise you you until you explore the open world and level vigor, and an eminently fair fight once you're savvy to his tricks. A hard obstacle to get you to recognize the new way of navigating the ER world on your first playthrough and a very good warm-up when you're dropping into a new playthrough on a second one.

2. Gael is the best of the like.. super hard DLC capstone bosses. I've played DS3 like 7 times to completion, and each build felt truly pushed to its limits by him without ever feeling like I was being punished for not playing a particular way other than Playing Well. He doesn't invalidate fighting him with sorcery or miracles or pyro with constant undending insufferable aggression with windows too small for anything but a soul arrow (like SOME more recent bosses), but at the same time he doesn't excuses casters from learning the fight.

1. Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower. Absolutely phenomenal boss that brings both the narrative of the main game and of the DLC to a head. The voice/face reveal had me in absolute chills the first time, the way she grabs you by surprise then lets your hand trail away because what comes next can only be a clean duel (reprised later if she gets you with her grab attack and gently cradles your body as she removes the blade... brr). Conspicuously fair, never once do I die to her without knowing what I did wrong, no crazy gimmicks or bullshit phase change health bar refills. The apex of the melodramatic honorable 1v1 duel bosses which as is often memed about, is itself the apex of the soulsborne boss.

Echo watched in fear. He was petrified to find out what you were concocting in that kitchen.

He sat on your couch and scratched his other arm. You looked in to the front room to tell him dinner was almost done. He gave you a wide nervous smile.

“I’m s-sure it’ll be great Mesh’la”

You gave him a cheeky, sly smile. You knew he was one picky guy. He was just trying to be nice and kind.. like he always was. After a few more minutes the stew was finally finished.

“Echo!! Dinners ready!”

Echo came shuffling into the dining room of your apartment. He sniffed and crinkled his nose.

BEST EXPERIENCE: In general, I've been having fun meeting new people and trying to bounce ideas. :3 Most memorable? I sound like a broken record (please don't hesitate to shut me up if I keep repeating myself), but it's the IL-Dh fight drabble I wrote for @etherealguard! I just wanted to write the two fighting in a dream. Then the Ichor of Two Dragons animation dropped and we all lost our shit over it.

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS :

passive-aggressiveness: In general, and I say it in my rules, but if you have any issues with me- Please talk to me so we can sort it out. I don't like the feeling I've angered/annoyed/bored you, because you're acting passive-aggressive with me. I understand if you prefer to not talk about it and keep it bottled up- I am like that too alot. But if it's bothering you to the point we can't talk on the same wavelength, there's a problem.

ship dynamics: RP wise, I am usually open to shipping my muses with other characters. Sometimes, we might be already shipping them together after we discuss it in dms. Sometimes, I want to see how they interact first and see if the chemistry is there. I can't make any promises their feelings will be mutual if I don't feel the chemistry there.

Nothing else comes to mind for now.

MUSE PREFERENCES: I lean toward muses who are calm and collected in general. They can be either flirtatious (scheming) or stoic (with some temper/misunderstood to be cold). And then there's the brat named Balladeer/Wanderer who is a menace to society. Though I think sincere characters like Noelle (Genshin Impact) or Sushang (HSR) would be more perfect for me. ;;;;;;

PLOTS OR MEMES : I prefer memes because it's a nice ice-breaker. They're like prompts that makes the brain juices go brr, and it gives me a chance to talk to the sender about it. Plotting takes time for me, and it makes me a little nervous. It makes me feel like I need to have a well-thought out idea for people to be interested enough to bounce ideas with and not be confused.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I am both! I tend to write alot, but no more than a few paragraphs. I don't mind short replies as long as it's not one-liners (unless this is a text message going back and forth). I need context before deciding how to reply.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : I don't get on my laptop until after 6PM and even then, unless I really force myself/try to get into the mood, I'm too tired to do anything other than chill. On the weekends, it's usually after 12PM I can try to sit down (if I'm not going outside) and make progress.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): Haha. No. I can never be calm and cool as them. Nor can I be courageous like them either. Nor am I an little shit like Wanderer/Balladeer.

LKSDFKJLSDFJFSD it's simply never too much i love talking about the Blorbos and Writing it fills me with such joy and i am glad people like my characterization of him i've been having a Blast with it!!!

for 26 my least favorite part is the low-stakes scenes. sometimes u just gotta show people Shooting the Shit especially to build relationships and my brain is always like "augh can we just skip to the part where they experience trauma/have some life altering emotional epiphany/fuck nasty/etc, wtf!!!" but unfortunately for that part to Hit they need to have Chemistry which is Boring to establish. also sometimes you'll want to get to a specific part but in order to write it you need to know how certain pieces come together in earlier parts, which will be a Secret until you write them. that's where I'm at with blunt force trauma rn I have one or two sex scenes kind of completed but figuring out how exactly they interweave with the narrative requires writing less fun parts leading up to it and my brain is like "no. don't wanna :/"

for 79 the advice I would share is Write Whatever The Hell You Want. Like in the most literal sense. Whatever makes your brain go brr even if it's insane or Nasty or for a really niche blorbo or not something you would ever publish. I have a shitton of things that I started and then didn't finish and those are still so valuable because 1. writing anything always makes you a better writer and 2. sometimes you'll be writing a separate thing and go "hey I wrote something similar in <unpublished bullshit doc that will never see the light of day>" and then you can Ctrl+C and tweak and voila and that is, frankly, the best feeling ever. also just writing whatever makes your brain go brrr is always a good idea because writing should be Fun!!!

ALSO also writing things out of order!! especially for longer works. no reason to start with the boring stuff if your brain is going "brr" about the high stakes stuff later on in the narrative.

and then just because I keep seeing that meme where it's like that dude looking Morose at a typewriter with a bunch of porn words underneath it meant to represent the Grind of writing sex scenes and every time I see it in my head i go "i know this is a joke but...". The most fun I've ever had with writing that specifically is when you use the sex to explore how the people involved are Fucked Up. "these people are fucking when they should be getting therapy" supremacy, but also like. any dynamic. Being deeply in love imo also counts as being fucked up. being convinced you don't deserve somebody, being astonished that attraction is mutual, that first time you hook up with someone you're really into and it feels like it rewires your brain chemistry, etc. go crazy with the psychological elements it's like Seasoning and it makes it a lot more fun and less repetitive.

and then most of all take all writing advice with a massive grain of salt because we all got different brains <3

A2. How did you find your first fic?

I think I was between the ages of 10 and 12 and I was googling about Inuyasha and a fic popped up. I think I wanted to see what happened after the anime cut off and discovered fanfiction to fill that whole through google of all things. That was how I found ff.net.

B4. Who is your current favourite author? What is their best story?

HO BOY this is a hard one. I've generally really enjoyed a lot of writers, so I'm gonna cheat here and name multiple (fair warning that it is All Trigun at the moment because that is what I currently have brain worms for):

There are, of course, lots of other fics I love in other fandoms, but these are ones that have stuck out to me and currently make my brain go brr. There are probably lots of really good one-shots I'm missing because I tend to get brain worms more over longer fics, too. This list also probably has a bias towards fics I've followed a long time, because the longfics and one-shots I binged over a few days are ones I have a harder time remembering, though I do tend to go back and reread them.

B7. Which character is your favourite to read about? Why?

Right now? It's 100% Vash. Not only does the fact that the fandom largely writes him as trans or at least Not Cis make my enby, doesn't identify with my gender assigned at birth self very happy, but he's honestly such a complex and interesting character. There are so many different interesting things you can do with him, and there are a lot of subtle aspects of his character you can really dig into in fanfiction. I'm also just... a sucker for characters with a lot of struggles getting support systems, hurt/comfort tropes, and found family tropes, all of which Vash is great for.

C9. What show did you really try to watch, but you just couldn’t?

Hmmmmm there are a lot? I've completed 300~400 anime in my lifetime, not even counting Other Kinds of Shows, but I've dropped more than I've finished. Naruto comes to mind because I think I watched maybe 500 episodes of that for a friend, and like, I liked parts of it, but it was such an inconsistent watching experience that I ended up never really liking or really finishing it. I didn't have nostalgia to get me through it lol.

D6. How many bookmarks do you have?

612 right now! Granted, I've had my AO3 account for about ten years now, so it's not too impressive when you factor in how long it's taken me to get there.

D10. What is one story idea you really want to read but no one has written yet?

This one is haaaard because if no one is writing an idea I want to read, then I tend to write it myself. I guess a Vashwood SWAP AU is one? I technically haven't posted the Vashwood part of my SWAP AU, so I would say it counts lol. But on a serious note, I think there are a lot of cool AUs that would work really well for Trigun, but I don't see too many that try to take new and fun takes on the characters. I've seen a couple here and there, but a lot of people tend to stick pretty closely to canon. Which is great! Lots of really great fics like that out there! But it's also fun to just get wild with it sometimes, so I'd like to see more AU fics that just go ham and have fun with some outlandish and creative ideas.
