But that probably won't happen so I'll probably eventually just resort to roleplay

Wonder if Stolas saved Blitz simply because he was suicidal and figured saving him and getting executed was a neat bonus

I tried to come up with a more challenging drawing but when you feel exhausted it always feels nice to draw something familiar (which in my case is hair and feminin characters.) Moosery Loves Company

Timing: Several hours after Regan’s scream Summary: Not all consequences of Regan’s scream are immediately apparent Warnings: Brief reference Lydia trapping people in her home

“There, all better,” Lydia said, throwing the bandaid wrappers in the trash. Around her, three cleaning staff swept up the glass that littered the entire house. Regan had broken windows before, but not all of them. Not the whole garden. Not every single piece of crystalware and ceramic and most of the last remaining sculptures Sammy had many. Not Lydia’s ears so badly that she heard nothing out of one and only ringing in the other. Todd stood up uncertainly as he looked at the bandaids on his shoulder, and carefully check the floor for every step as he walked away. She had three musical humans, and all of them were complaining that their ears hurt. There were a couple cuts and bruises too, just like icing on the cake. 

Lydia pursed her lips, watching two human men carrying in windows. After the first time Regan had screamed, she hard instructed the local suppliers to always keep custom windows for her whole home in stock. She was willing to pay the storage fee, and lo and behold, she had it. She had been told - via text - that only some windows could be done now, and other would have to wait for after the weekend. Everything else would be covered up with tarp. To make everything worse, it had started raining before all the tarp had been installed, so now not only was there glass everywhere, but the floor would happily slip you up so you would get the glass in your face, too. 

Hours of work had passed and they were still nowhere near done. The worst of her nausea was done, but sometimes Lydia had dizzy spells that were so bad she mistook the ceiling for the floor. How do you think she found out about the glass and rainwater combination? Lydia’s phone buzzed against her hip. She pulled it up, hoping for a text from Deirdre, but no, it was a crowd of people by the front door. Lydia grimaced, carefully crossing the glass laden hall in her stilettos before swinging open the door. “What?” She demanded. The crowd looked bushty tailed and bright eyed, and all began talking at once, unpleasantly loud and completely incomprehensible. Lydia scrunched up her eyes and cringed away, looking at each of them as if she might figure out their purpose. Several of them had phones and cameras out, already clicking photos of her hall, trying to creep in past her to get better angles. Some of them were wearing headbands with… oh no. Antlers. How had Deirdre explained Regan and her screaming sessions to the general public? Lydia pinched her forehead and groaned. Moose Enthusiasts. Could this week get any worse?

“Get out! No, you’re not coming in here! I said get out!” She yelled, pushing one bright eyed boy back hard enough to clear the door so she could emphatically slam it in their faces. It felt good, except for making her ears hurt more. Lydia turned around, walking back to her kitchen to get herself some wine, when she spotted a whole gaggle of them roaming her garden. They had stepped over the fences Regan had knocked down with her scream, and were curiously pointing out evidence of damage, snapping photos of everything they could. 

Lydia grabbed one of her so called security team, the mime. “What are they doing here?” She asked. It shrugged, and began to mime back at her that they weren’t a security risk, just roaming the whole island in search of the moose. “I don’t care, I don’t want them in my garden, I don’t want them anywhere near me.” The mime frowned, and began to mime back something too complicated for Lydia to follow. 

“I don’t care! I don’t care! I’m not going to mime at you, just use your ears! Let the window people and cleaners and whoever else in, just  keep those goddamn moose enthusiasts the hell away from me!” Lydia rubbed her head, and stormed upstairs herself, slamming her bedroom door behind her. Her bedroom was frigid and the tarp that covered that window whipped around and crinkled horribly as she threw herself in her bed. Lydia didn’t cry.

She really didn’t.

I thought I retired the Moose nickname long ago, but this party showed me otherwise. It is more of a personality that I denied years ago. A resurgence came back in full force.
