The blonde heroine fidgeted nervously in her seat. Her buns needed touching up, her outfit was a mess, and Luna wasn't there with her. But she recalled Mamoru's comforting voice; "just breathe; it'll be okay."

It felt like she'd been sitting in this room for hours. All was silent, save for her racing heart and the ticking of the clock. Usagi exhaled, eyeing the gray room, the assorted home improvement magazines on the coffee table, and briefly thought about if danger should arrive, would she be quick enough to transform. Shaking those thoughts away, Usagi recalled why she was here.

Someone wanted to meet her. Someone who called her "my hero".

"Miss Tsukino," A female voice spoke up suddenly.

Turning her head, a tall woman smiled brightly at her.

"I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting,"

"No no! It's fine!" Usagi smiled in return. "When can I meet…?"

"Oh, she's finishing up now. We really want to thank you for coming all this way for us. It means a lot to her. Can we get you a coffee or anything?"

"I had coffee before coming here, but thank you."

"She'll be out in just a minute." With that, the woman left.

Back to boredom.

Usagi sighed, and pulled out her crappy dollar store notebook with glitter bunnies on the cover. Running her fingertip across the glittery surface, she giggled to herself, and took out her pencil. The blonde began doodling, drawing accessories she had in the past to fight evil. The moonstick and heart moon rod were fond memories, as were her first brooches.

Finally, another door opened, and with eyes closed, out came another tall woman that had thick, curly, dark brown hair and chubby cheeks. She opened her eyes, and gasped.

Usagi sheepishly waved at the woman who had just come out of her therapy appointment.

"Hi! Are you the one I was told to meet with?"

She blinked a few times, then tears slid down her face. Usagi was alarmed, but then saw she was smiling. The woman sobbed quietly, wiping her eyes with her arms.

"Usagi?? Usagi Tsukino??"

"Y--yeah?" Usagi wasn't sure what to expect.

"Can I hug you??"

"Sure!"

The woman ran over to Usagi, who stood up from her seat, and the two hugged warmly.

Woah, her hair was really thick and curly. Usagi almost wanted to run her fingers through it.

"I'm sorry for crying. Really. You…you saved me a long time ago."

"Who might you be?" Usagi asked, rubbing the woman's back.

"I'm Rissa. I'm a huge fan. You're my favorite. I can't--I can't put into words how much you mean to me."

"Aw," Usagi laughed slightly. "Well I'm glad I saved you!"

"I was in a really dark place ten years ago, it was hard to get out of bed so I didn't…but now I'm getting the help I need, and I'm on new medicine!"

Ten years ago… she was just starting out as Sailor Moon then, hadn't met the other sailor guardians… but there was evil in the small town, robbing people of their energy! As Sailor Moon, she brought the light of hope and used it to disperse the darkness hanging over everybody's heads, filling their thoughts with despair.

"Ten years ago? But… all I did was throw my tiara at some bad guys back then."

"I know. It sounds silly." Rissa fidgeted, "But ever since you saved my life, I was in awe…and I wanted to be like you."

"Like me? A crybaby that was scared?"

"Even so, you still were able to kick butt. In your own way. You still did it with tears in your eyes."

Usagi blushed, her fame really had reached far and wide.

"Well, it's lovely meeting you!" Usagi chirped. "But surely you want to talk about something else besides what I was like in the past!"

Rissa's hazel eyes gleamed.

"Wanna talk about cats over cake?"

was looking through old drabbles and I would humbly like to ask if you could do more on Brainwashed!moon (perhaps with freeing her?) or footsteps of Rose AU where Ruby get compared to summer?

(Not sure how you found Brainwashed!Sailor Moon, but enjoy)

Minako: *messing with the hair ties that kept her hair in place similar to Usagi’s* This plan is never going to work. 

Makoto: *voicing coming through the earpiece in Minako’s hair* All you have to do is make Queen Beryl think she has the wrong Sailor Moon. Act how Usagi would and we’ll lure her back to us.

Minako: And if this doesnt work? 

Makoto: Then you’ll never have to worry about whether or not you’ll get asked out to the dance.

Minako: *pouting* I still dont see why Rei or Ami could be her. 

Rei: I’m not a blonde and look nothing like Usagi and Ami could never pull off Usagi’s antics like you. 

Ami: Take it as a compliment. Only you have the brains, grace, and looks to pull this off. You’re a triple threat as an Usagi stand-in!

Minako: *smiling as the insult flew over her head* You’re right! Of course only I can do this. In fact-

Minako: *pulling out the fragments Tuxedo Mask gave her* I bet I can beat anyone who wants to try to get their hands on these crystal fragments!

Sailor Moon: *dropping from a building and pausing for a moment* And… who are you supposed to be?

Minako: *pointing a finger at Sailor Moon* I’m Sailor Moon, you imposter!

Sailor Moon: *taking a step back as she watched imaginary numbers and math equations run in front of her eyes* You cant be Sailor Moon, I’m Sailor Moon. But you look like Sailor Moon, but you cant be sailor Moon, because I’m Sailor Moon, but if you’re not Sailor Moon, then why do you look like Sailor Moon-

Zoisite: *facepalming as he watched Sailor Moon* Never trust a Sailor Scout to do the work of a Shitennou. Sailor Moon, take care of the imposter!

Minako: I’m not the imposter, I’m the real Sailor Moon! *pulls out a makeshift moonstick* By the power of the moon, I will defeat you!

Sailor Moon: *starting to lose balance and holding her head in confusion* But you cant be… I’m Sailor Moon… 

*The brooch on Sailor Moon’s bow started to glow with a silver light as Sailor Moon dropped to the ground* 

Sailor Moon: *groaning as she looked around, eyes trying to adjust from the silver light* What…happened? *looking up to see Minako* And why do you look like me?

Minako: *stands in an exaggerated battle pose Usage takes* Because I’m Sailor Moon!

Sailor Moon: How dare you impersonate me!

Zoisite: *readying an ice crystal* Well, now that that charade is over, its finally time I get what I came for-

Sailor Moon: *slamming her foot into Zoisite’s hand, breaking the ice crystal* Oh no you dont! 

Zoisite: *glaring and holding his hand* I’ll make sure Queen Beryl hears about this!

Sailor Moon: *watching as Zoisite runs off* What’s his problem? 

Minako: *taking out her hair ties to let her hair down* That’s one way to stop him from getting the rest of the fragments. But now, I can finally stop looking like you. 

Sailor Moon: And whats wrong with looking like me? 

Minako: You’re a fashion disaster.

Sailor Moon: I am not! *following after Minako, yelling behind her* I have great taste!
