A snippet from my piece "Waking Cleo" for the @moonrot-pearleo-zine ! I was partnered with @severevoiddragon who drew some fanart to accompany the short fic I wrote! Be sure to check it out when it drops on December 8th!

“Oh, it’s you.” Her voice was as even and cold as ever, a grimacing frown on her artificial lips as she glared down at the human woman. C.L.3.O., the robot who had nearly killed Pearl and everyone else last time they’d seen one another.

i worked with the wonderful @treesareredinautumn for the magazine page, their page is themed on sportwear instead of knitwear and you should check it out in the zine and look at all the cool art on their profile!!

the other piece is a plants vs. zombies inspired au- really just an excuse to draw pearl with a bazooka :3

The floor of their kitchen is cold and hard. Pearl remembers picking it out, some Italian brand that hadn’t mattered as much as the look on Cleo’s face when it was put in. Her hair is spread in a halo below her, and she grins at the woman pressing a knife to her throat.

“Hey, babe,” she says. The gun in her hand, pressed to her wife’s heart, trembles. “Mind letting me get up?”

Cleo scowls. She looks like an angel, her fiery hair backlit by their kitchen light. The blade in her hand presses deeper into Pearl’s throat, and she feels a trickle of hot blood drip down her neck.

A little teaser for my @moonrot-pearleo-zine fic this will be out December 8th at 9am PST

Pearl heard what Cleo was saying but it didn't process. She was too busy staring at her lips.

"Pearl? Are you listening to me?" Cleo pulled her back to reality.

"I uh yep, I am listening" Pearl felt her face flush as she blinked rapidly trying to pull her brain away from the image of Cleos lips.

I made some pieces for the @moonrot-pearleo-zine and I've got them on ao3 now!

Other Pairs: A double life snippet where Cleo and Pearl find out they're soulmates. Ambiguously shippy.

Armour Stand Soup: A Hermitcraft 9 snippet where Cleo decided to join the Soup Group. If I'd had more time and energy I think this could have been much longer, but for now it's just a brief snippet

Sparks: Another for Hermitcraft 9, this one taking place in Scarland after the Secret Santa. Very cute and much more overtly shippy. @gh0st0m made art for it that you can see if you download the zine!

The Part Where They Don't Kill You: A Portal AU, this one taking the scene at the very end of Portal 2 and replacing Cleo with Glados, Chell with Pearl, and making the femslash undertones very overt. Openly shippy. Again, if you download the zine, you can see @love-death-and-desert's art for it

I definitely didn't forget I'm allowed to post my piece now absolutely not :D

Anyway, I worked with the amazing @rutellingmeashrimpfriedthisrice to do an art piece to accompany its fic of a Portal AU !! That's Martyn in the background but we don't care about him, we only care about the yuri <3

Funnily enough this wasn't the only Portal AU in the zine, if you want to see the other portal AU along with many other amazing pieces, go check out @moonrot-pearleo-zine !! (I was a mod for it, and got to format the zine, so I read every single fic n saw every single art so I can safely say everything in this zine is such good quality hehe)
