It’s another #MoonieMonday 💕✨🌙 • I don’t have many photos of my first Sailor Moon costume that my mom made me for Halloween when I was, I think, 12 years old (back when only film cameras existed 😆) but I remember feeling SO elated at getting to be my favorite cartoon heroine. I hand-made that cardboard crescent moon wand myself, lol! Fast forward to finishing this dream costume this year and I found myself feeling NERVOUS about wearing her! I finally made a Sailor Moon costume, with almost 10 years of sewing experience, and after many trials and failures. In the end, I am so dang proud. It feels like the kind of project they reflects all the things I’ve learned doing this hobby and it makes me so happy that a lot of you have shared in this joy with me. • Whether you’ve been on the Sera Myu journey with me since 2018 or you’re new to my page, THANK YOU for the love and support! Sera Myu is so elegant and whimsical; it takes the escape of the show to another level! I personally think the new Sailor Moon Crystal matches this lovely aesthetic more closely than the OG anime did. Have you ever been to a Sera Myu musical or live event?
