The way you treated the hater on your pearl and fidd "the cucks" work (which was absolutely splendid btw) made me especially confident in how I treated a recent comment I got on a story I made a few years ago (it's on an app called fortelling but I'm thinking of putting it on ao3 possibly)

The comment on it read something like "I don't appreciate the violence in this story" which is wild because I put a tw for violence at the beginning of the story, so I told the commenter that.

Then they said they didn't appreciate the way I made the characters in the story gay and lowkey suggested that I put a tw for that as well.

Of course I was like hell no. Politely of course. Like you wouldn't put a tw for a straight character, why should I do that for a silly lil gay guy?

Anyway I love your yummy scrumptious art and your utterly silly idgaf energy. Keep being great.

I feel like I sound like one of those "good job, sport" dads, so I'm gonna wrap it up.

i really do hate the state of internet discourse culture these days. if someone says something stupid to me then i'm going to make fun of them, and if they can't take it then they shouldn't have commented in the first place. i say the next time that happens just troll the person and make them look like a bigger idiot than they already are.

Okay, so I got three suggestions from my last post about giving Frollo a new haircut, @rainbowgato suggested Professor Snape's haircut which is on the far left, @moonfrost-614-queen-of-darkness suggested the k-pop haircut I gave him but the ponytail be a bit higher with a few loose strands of hair ( hopefully I added a noticeable amount) which is in the middle, & @sugar-fueled-gremlin suggested a long, low ponytail which is on the far right.

I have to say, it's difficult to decide which one I wanna go with because these all fit him so well, perhaps I can experiment & see if I can mash them all together, if you guys have any suggestions, I'll be happy to hear your creative ideas, I could really use the help cause my brain is still kinda fried. 😥

qhy do you hate morando?

There's just so little personality to him beyond 'Evil Meanie.'

He and Gunmar kill thier own guys. But when Gunmar does it, it's a loss of Temper, he's out of control, losing it.

When Morando does it, he's just 'haha heeehee you're of no use to me.'

It's not the Morando is BAD I just wish we would've gotten more out of him. I also think its a fucking SIN they wrote him as being responsible for the massacre of Varvatos family instead of DARING to allow the heros parents to be politcally grey. He's not a bad character, he was just written badly.

Russian citizens on tumblr aren’t the enemy.

Putin is the enemy.

Corrupt people in power are the enemy.

You do NOT go into the fandom blogs of people who happen to be Russian and tell them you can’t be friends with them anymore simply because they’re Russian.

The Citizens don’t get a say in this. Or a voice. The people we share fandoms with aren’t to blame for this, and I know. I know it hurts to see Ukraine suffering, I know we feel powerless to help, so we lash out. We lash out at people we see as the enemy because it drives us crazy that we can’t do anything. That the world feels so out of control. 

But Ukraine will prevail. Good will Prevail.

And punishing Russian tumblr-users is just punching down. Russian artists have been cut off from paypal, from accurate news, they’re scared and they aren’t hurting anyone. They’re still our friends. Support Ukraine. Stand with Ukraine!

But do not treat our friends and artists badly because of their nationality.

My #1 post of 2022

Some of Stricklander’s ‘monstrous’ characteristics that don’t get discussed enough. Thing’s he’s absolutely noticed and might be self-conscious about.

-His mouth is actually just a bit larger than it should be, it goes up too high in the corners when he’s aggressively smiling.

-His arms are longer than average, long limbs are often associated with cryptids and monsters, such as Wendigo, The Rake, ect

-Yellow eyes and slitted pupils. Good guys don’t have snake eyes. ‘yellow’ is not a ‘good’ color. Poetry is not written about yellow eyes. And nothing with pupils like that is seen as decent or honest.

-Fangs. He can’t cover them completely with his lips. They aren’t the elegant incisors of a vampire or incubus, they are tearing, rending teeth of a carnivore.

-Wings. While I’m sure he loves his wings, does he ever with they had a few lines of silken fur, to soften the ruggedness? Does he ever imagine himself in steel-gray feathers, instead of the leathery look of a vulture troll?

Just, all the things we find beautiful. Does he accept them, or do they give him dysphoria, does he recognize the face in the mirror when it isn’t Walter’s?

Journey was no longer human, with blue stone for skin, a long tail and bat like wings. She held her newborn son. "Bonely?"

“C’mon in, Journey,” Stan called from the kitchen, flicking suds from his hands into the sink. “I’m doin’ dishes so feel free teh let yerself in.”

It was common knowledge that Stan’s door was always open to Journey, especially after the whole kerfuffle with the memory stone. Whether to be used for after school study of just a place to crash after along day, he didn’t mind. So long as she cleaned up after herself anyways.

Setting his dishes into his countertop strainer, the raven haired changeling dried his hands and walked out into the living room. He hung the drying towel over his shoulder and was about to give Journey a welcoming grin when he saw she was in her troll form.

“Heya Journey,” he greeted, furrowing his brow with concern as he closed his curtains. “What’s goin’ on kid? Ain’t like yeh teh be prancin’ around in yer stone suit.”

It was a thing most changlings he knew tried to avoid actually, even himself. Humans spotting trolls led to questions, panic, and sometimes mockery for the viewer, but being spotted by other trolls often led to worse fates. If Journey was walking around in her changeling form, then chances were that something happened.

the funniest thing in the entire pirates of the caribbean series is definitely that one scene in At World’s End where they have parlay but davy jones is part of it, and rather than have him stand in the shallows or something they get a big bucket of water and have in stand on it on shore

who thought of that idea? who thought “put davy jones in a bucket of water” and had the guts to suggest it aloud? and then who went “hey that sounds like a great idea!”

at some point someone told davy jones their idea was for him to stand in a bucket of water and he agreed to it
