Hey I'm Key and I made this blog to continue to procrastinate challenging the Pokemon league in Sinnoh. I'm 28 now, genderqueer, and use they/them pronouns. Buneary fan for life. I grew up in Sinnoh, tried to challenge the league as a kid but couldn't follow through, then went back at it again when I was like 25. Now I sit outside the E4 building doing fuck all.

Behold my team-

Phoenix the Crobat- team flier, and my ace. We have a whole flight harness apparatus set up and often soar together to kill time.

Milk the Mamoswine- Newest addition, strong powerful and thinks he's smaller than he is.

Big Mama the Gyrados- Team mom and mentor to Milk, hits like a freight train.

Communism the Blissey- Healer of the team and the sweetest pokemon you've ever met.

Benedict the Togetic- Funny Jokester type guy who considers Phoenix his best friend and in-battle partner. Crazy good synergy together.

And my sweet baby son who hates the universe, Binted the Buneary- thinks the world is beneath him (it is) and that he's the most powerful badass Buneary in it (he is). We used to not get along because I couldn't communicate that his allergy to potions was why he got herbal meds that tasted like shit, and not because I hated him forever. Now he's got moomoomilk instead which works better and tastes better and he loves me. Hates everything else though so watch out.

Made by the same guy who runs @actualtrainerred , Key is an oc based on a nuzlocke I ran of Platinum that I haven't finished because I'm scared of Cynthia, which reflects in Key's behavior of not challenging the E4 yet despite having qualified since they were 24. They see this as procrastination, but they're just genuinely afraid of losing more teammates, because in the world they come from pokemon regularly die in battles due to both corruption at the league and poor infrastructure for medical care, both human and pokemon.

Key is also based off of a now mostly defunct RP blog, @nuzlocke-n-key , where I more traditionally roleplayed them. I might do that again at some point, but for now here's this.

Key is also bisexual and intersex, but doesn't feel inclined to put it on their rotomblr blog.

No DNI, I don't feel like they're useful for me, just know I block like I'm married to the block button. Magic anons are off and I'm not? Sure? What all the other things are and at this point I'm too afraid to ask. You can send them stuff in the mail though I'll allow that.

I guess what I wonder then is how you became someone's cousin if you're a Pokemon turned person? Cuz I'm not doubting what anyone says on Rotomblr anymore after everything that's gone down, I'm just curious how that works. Is it a family friend situation?

i guess reverse eeby deeby? doubt it’s the same phenomenon as it happened to me far before the current wave of people turned pokémon but that’s the closest thing i can relate it to. no offense taken btw.

Otherkin is something i learned about pretty recently, it’s people who feel they are something other than human right? it’s interesting. need to look into it more.

always dodges interviewers' questions on who mike's endgame is,

gives extremely vague answers on mlvn's future ("idk, i hope they can find happiness" "whether that's together or separate" etc.),

stuttered 38 times when asked if he ships byler,

gave a very cringed reaction to the mighty morphin power rangers monologue scene,

his spotify playlist named "love songs" is top notch bylercore and literally the first song on there is "boys dont cry",

puts his whole wolfussy and gives goo goo gaa gaa hearteyes throughout every byler scene,

HE PLAYS THE GODDMAN CHARACTER WHO WE YET TO KNOW IN CANON IF RECIPROCATES OR NOT,

duffers prolly gave him personalized notes on how to portray mike that might only be known between the writers and him,

has played other roles that all portray a young struggling queer boy in love with his best friend.

intentional or not, idc, i have claimed him as a byler warrior. cant wait for when s5 promo starts to see him flipping out over byler-related asks <3

Summer Shine!

heyoooo!  so yes the world and life in general are a bit crazy right now, and summer as we usually know it is going to be a bit different this year in light of those events. 

so a friend and i are making lemonade out of lemons and starting summer off by hunting summer-themed/summer colored shinies and i’m just making this post for posterity  C: (and because i keep losing the list i actually wrote down lmao).   

if you want to make your own summer shiny list, then please go right ahead and reblog this with your wishlist!  who knows, if someone reblogs it from you with their list then you might get inspired to hunt that shiny, or maybe they’ll get inspired by your list! 

so yeah to start off, this is my summer shiny list:

- Marill/Azumarill (water mouse that looks like a beach ball only to evolve into a sunshine colored bunny that looks like it’s wearing sunblock, omg are you kidding)

- Politoed (again, running with water theme but politoed’s colors are just really appealing to me and remind me of the ocean  c: )

- Horsea/Seadra/Kingdra (well, seahorse.  and plus i always wanted to give shiny kingdra a spot on a team!)

- Miltank (look at that gorgeous girl rocking the blue, and i mean, moomoomilk makes ice cream to enjoy during the summer, right?)

- Comfey (tropical flowers!  look at her go she’s so precious and good!  might hunt this one full odds, we’ll see)

that’s just my start for now!
