A little fan art drawing for @iffylogic's fan comic about Ultimecia called Kontext @kontextcomic . I guess that makes it double fan art?? Such a well written and well drawn comic that deserves tons of love. Seeing a new update is always exciting and I can't wait to see where it goes. Oh and every single outfit Ulti wears in the comic fits her so well. I also really like Carmine, which is an original character in the comic and the red headed girl in this drawing (no, not the moomba!) Anyway, you really should read it if you enjoy FF8 fan works and want some well thought out backstory for Ultimecia!

Hey guys. I thought to share a funny bit of my family history, as this year marks 50 years of the annual birdman rally, which is held every year at the Melbourne Moomba Festival.

It is a charity event in which people dress up in funny costumes, or choose to actually fly, by running off a ramp into the Yarra River.

It was started by my grandfather, George Abel. A man just as crazy as one would think to come up with such a ridiculous idea. I’ve always looked up to him, and in the last few years, due to age, his hasn’t been able to attend, with me even planning to one day take part in honour of him. He is currently 92 years old.

For those curious as to who ‘Ann’ is, she is my grandmother, my grandpa’s late wife, who sadly passed away two years ago rather unexpectedly. She was someone who was the complete opposite to my grandpa, but despite that, he loved her dearly.

I just feel like they're an underappreciated Final Fantasy creature. They only got to show up officially in like, 1 game, and it's kinda surprising with their design that they're not more popular in the furry fandom.

This would just be another bit of bland trivia if not for one quirk: Moomba is a prank name. Credited to an Aboriginal activist named Bil Onus, he claimed it meant "let's get together and have fun." Near as anyone can tell, it actually means "Up your arse".

Michelle Yeoh was crowned Miss Up Yer Bum International 1984.
