All of these things are already in most cities and #6 is more an issue with how cities are zoned in regards to residential, commercial and industrial sectors. And to deal with that you’d need to discuss between a town’s zoning commission, building oversite committee and the real estate agencies operating in your city rather than whinging on Tumblr with a long post straight outta’ 13.
"Walkable city" is not "City where to have to walk everywhere."
"Walkable city" is.
Sidewalks big enough to fit you, your stroller, your wheelchair, your guide dog, or anything else you need when you're getting from one place to another.
Safe crosswalks frequent enough so you don't need to walk in traffic.
Bike lanes to keep bikes out of foot traffic and car traffic.
Accessible and affordable public transit.
Cities where the essentials are close enough you can travel on foot (or in wheelchair)
Cities where it's reasonable to be able to get from point a to point b without requiring you, yourself, to drive
People get so caught up in the "Walkable" part of the term and like to spout "Walkable cities are abelist because not everyone can walk".
Bitch. The modern city structure is abelist because not everyone can drive. And classist because not everyone can afford a car and it's pretty damn impossible to get a job if you don't have a car.
Walkable cities are cities where people can reasonably get from pointA to pointB without requiring a motor vehicle.
"But fae. Disabled people have issues using the paths in modern cities." Bitch abled people can barely use the paths in modern cities. That's kind of the fucking problem.
Also walkable cities have fucking benches. Not only for disabled people. But sometimes you just twist your ankle and need to sit for a moment.
"Put fae. If you have benches, homeless people will sleep on them."
Then get fucking housing for the homeless. Problem solved. They'll sleep in their nice warm homes instead of on the benches.

🖊 I would love your thoughts on how the knights dragoon elders temper arrogance in the trainees of their ranks, especially regarding them versus other parts of the ishgardian, and greater alliance military. Must be real easy for dragoons high on their dragon fire and double jumps to think they're better than every other discipline, and I bet that could lead to trouble :x
For my headcanon (but possibly could be canon), the high death rate during the Dragonsong War was a good deterrent against full-blown and outright arrogance. Also I suspect that the ranks of the Knights Dragoon were mostly made up out of very lesser nobles and commoners, and I headcanon that they really had to distinguish themselves in the war to get that major leg up into the higher nobility. Hard to be on your high horse when a Temple Knight can get more praise and rewards than you. Hell, Aymeric getting Estinien a job as a simple city guard tells you a lot about how well your average veteran was possibly treated.
That aside--I'm imagining the Steps of Faith and the ragtag group of adventures we pull together to fight Vishap probably stick quite a few pins in egos, if not outright shocking quite a few folks. And we see Heustienne have no qualms in saying 'help us, we need to adapt', and she is Estinien's second in command!
Outside of that...I drew inspiration from stories I heard of older vets in the Army who said if there were issues between troops, the commanders would let them be settled with non-lethal fights back in the day. Running your mouth enough makes you liable to be challenged to put your money where your mouth is, and the Knight-Dragoon trainers have no qualms in seeing if you can match up to your skill or put you in a situation where you've no choice. Talk shit about a Temple Knight? Oh look you're in the training ring with him, square up. And if you can't win guess what you're getting busted back to basic training.
Talk shit about a Gridanian healer? Square up. Limsan Arcanist or Marauder? Square up. Public show for everyone to watch you get beat and instill fear into the rest of your fellows.
Knight-Dragoon trainees (again, my headcanon) also now undergo a period of service in Dravania, where they act as helpers to the dragons there. You want to advance to the next level, guess what? Go get that baby dragonet there dinner. Fresh nanka. Go hunt for this dragon that's nesting right now and about to pass an egg. Or watch the blessed event to make sure nothing goes wrong and if something does, call a healer.
Go help pick up and carry rubble since the buildings are being reconstructed. Ah, wait, your head is really up your ass?
The former Count Dzemael and the moogles will only be all too happy to help you with your attitude adjustment, kupo.
Mouthing off while you're in the Grand Alliance? You gonna get roasted. Enough fools have done so and gotten annihilated by Aymeric personally! In front of their unit! With an offer to the offended party to once again, issue an ass kicking if needed!

AXELLL!! AXELLL!!! BABY!!!
God his attitude sucks but I love him soooo much. Also: I didn’t even mean to come to this battle! I meant to go to the other rooms to practice a bit more and lvl up or whatever. I saw the door that leads here and I literally thought it was the door to the moogles! I have moogle points and I know I can get cards or something but AAAGHH!
If I die, I’ll just go back to my save bc thankfully they gave me a save before this door.
EDIT: Hehe, I beat him :). I nearly died a few times but I did it!! Woohooo!!

FFxivWrite2024 - Prompt #7: Morsel
“Kukuuuuuuu!”
Her howl was met with a wince, followed up with a derisive snort, but neither originated from the grey-moustached face of her husband. Instead it was Heckler, the most senior of the household staff, who rebuked her with that scornful look he was so famous for. It wasn’t his real name, of course, but Vivira couldn’t think of a better way to describe the old badger of a Hyur as he looked down his nose at her like she was the servant and he the master.
“Master Kukusito has taken mistress Glaring out to the city,” the man told her with a voice so icey Vivira had to suppress a shiver. It perked her right up. Nothing like a bit of attitude to keep you from getting like that, she believed. ‘Like that’ being basically everything she found mildly annoying or bothersome. There was no need for a precise definition. She knew what she meant.
“Oh, has he now,” she murmured, the brief bit of energy already fading away. The Fog was bad this morn - afternoon, the sun was high - and she contemplated going back to bed again. It had gotten worse now that the work had dried up. With nothing to distract her, boredom did far worse than any condition by itself ever could. Stupid Unsung and their stupid trips. What was she supposed to do when they went off galavanting around like, well, like she would like to, truth be told.
Her frustrations bubbled out in a sigh. “Would the lady like us to set her up for some very late brunch? A high tea, perchance? We have some choice morsels leftover from last eve’s dinner as well.” Vivira slowly turned her amethyst eyes upwards, staring into the face of her Heckler with a glower that would have withered a lesser man. He was no lesser man, however, and the way he managed to keep his face so neutral, even impassive, had a smug quality uniquely his own. Gil but how she cherished this twat.
“Why in Thal’s name would I want that?” Her voice was acid, and she was quite proud at the whip-like quality she had managed to squeeze in.
“Wouldn’t that be Nald,” he commented dryly before answering her: “A Post Moogle awaits in the parlour. Said they would only hand their precious cargo to the esteemed Lady Vivira Vira herself.”
She wrinkled her nose in a rare show of open insecurity. The genuine criticism in the jape wasn’t lost on her as Vivira became keenly aware that it was the middle of the sun and she was standing there in a nightgown, her hair unkept and generally ungroomed. When was the last time she’d had a bath?
“I take it you told them no such persona actually exists in this household,” she managed, but her heart wasn’t in it and it just sounded flat. Insecure, even. Heckler deflated somewhat. The old man loved their little battles as much as she did, so when his Ladyship offered him so little sport he knew just how serious her condition had become. The silence between them felt heavy as words failed him.
“Please have the girls draw me a bath,” Vivira ordered, and the gloom retreated back into the corners as she straightened to a semblance of her usual, rigid posture. Thal’s long shadow was still there, but contained. For now. “They’ve waited this long. Might as well add insult to injury.”
Lady and steward shared a brief, silent moment of mutual understanding, before both went their own way.

Hilarious too that Liios's biggest fear was that someone realized he had some shit going on. Like what if they realized there was something Wrong with him?
But he was genuinely, genuinely just an average guy who's nice and earnest. If he hadn't been yanked around on the chain of destiny by Hydaelyn and sundry, Liios would just be in the Manufactory of Ishgard right at this moment making,,,, idk. The first industrial-scale bread slicer so we can make sliced bread a real invention in Eorzea soon. Or a proper cold storage so the Ishgardian rich ladies could start making those awful, awful 1800s jello recipes.
He confessed to his brother like, I'm scared they'll discover I'm a freak. And Ptolemy just showed him the picture of a moogle with fangs and horns and a kid's scribbled note on it saying "Welcome to my twisted mind >:)"
and said, "Is this an accurate reflection of your psyche?"
Family can really just destroy you on levels you never before imagined. In 1 word and 1 picture.
(once the dust has settled)
Ptolemy: I suppose my question is, what do you think is so frightening about yourself that you do not want others to see?
Liios: ...Does smiling come naturally to you?
Ptolemy: Uh. What.
Liios: There was a paper published on the possible effects of one's facial expressions on those around them. While sometimes it's inappropriate to smile, the author stated that in some situations, smiling can reduce the anxiety and stress of the person who is perceiving it.
Liios: It was very old, of course. Perhaps even disproven by now, not that I've checked. I read it while trying to learn Sharlayan script when we first moved there. And smiling really kept the wheedling worriers off my back. They stopped asking stupid shit like, "How are you today?" and "Can I help you with anything?" when they and I knew full well there was nothing to be done and I feel wretched every day.
Liios: It's worked. Confidence and a bit of friendliness and smiling keep people out of my hair. And you're right, I do like the sound of my own voice. It sounds like yours, while being mine. But now people are too expectant of this facade. No one wants to perform the same bit every time he appears in public. And it's been a bit for seventy long, long years.
Ptolemy: So you put on a show of an upbeat attitude to keep people out of your business, because -- and it is true -- that you have always been intensely private about all your hurts.
Liios: Lame, isn't it? I should've been an arsehole from the start and none of this would have happened.
Ptolemy: You fished for half a day to throw all your catches to a polar bear with cubs because Father told you that usually only one cub would survive to adulthood. If you had it in you to be an arshole, it wouldn't have been your first choice to be nice instead.
Liios: Nooo not the polar bear incident. Don't bring that up.
Ptolemy: What about the time when you healed a snow leopard instead of shooting it dead, only for it to almost maul you?
Liios: I felt bad for it. We had just brought down a mammoth, so the clan was lacking for neither meat nor hide, and thus we need not kill it. But to leave it to a slow, lamed death...
Ptolemy: I would have killed that snow leopard, you know. It could have gotten you a nicer scarf. Anyway, you weren't going to be anything but nice from the start. Ruthless, perhaps, and all of us act in terrible ways when we are angry. I don't think there is anything inauthentic about your usual attitude. You just don't have to worry about me keeling over every second of every day anymore. And if you're tired of being nice, there's always Seal Rock.
Liios: That's true. 🤔
#liios suvali#ptolemy suvali#in his own head liios is always a horrible person who lies#somehow. but no one is gassing him up (evil) more than himself. its fine

Y'all: -send me writing memes-
Me: Writes about Hraesvelgr and Shiva's kid instead!
---
"What're you doing up here?" Antonia asked, although she was perfectly happy to sit next to Soladiti. Sol motioned to the statue they were sat before.
"This is the Mother of Sheave. It's a statue of Shiva." Sol said, before relaxing back into how they'd been sat before, head tilted back so that they could see up the whole statue to the stone face. Toni followed their gaze, humming softly.
"She's beautiful," she commented, looking over at Sol, "although if she was actually that big and you've got another growth spurt coming, I'm going to be less impressed." The snort from Sol made Toni smile. Silence descended, bar the whisper of the wind and the distant sound of wildlife. Toni alternated between looking at the statue and looking to Sol.
"Do you think I look like her? Under the scales and horns, I mean. I don't look anything like what Ysayle summoned..." Silence fell again, and Toni watched the now familiar process of Sol praying, before they continued, "I keep wanting to ask Father, but I don't want to upset him... I can't help but wonder though. If her family would have recognised me... If I see my mother in the mirror in the mornings..." Sol sighed, shaking their head. "It doesn't matter. Come on, I'm sure the Moogles have more work for us," as Sol went to stand, Toni caught their arm, keeping them on the floor.
"It does matter," she said, "and the puffballs can wait a little longer. Might do wonders for their attitude to be kept waiting."

All the jobs - FFXIV
All of the jobs (except Blue Mage, which doesn't count for Project Amaro) are now to at least level 60 - and I have completed story to level 70 on all of them except Monk (see below).
In a way I'm sad that there aren't any more job quests to come at these levels, at least for now - but on the other hand I really enjoyed them and got SO much lore. Rigel made so many friends and allies, as well.
Overall, my favorites and not so favorites:
(spoilers for job quests up to level 80; some very light spoilers for Shadowbringers and early Endwalkers that won't mean much if you have not played them)
Amazing. Perfect. Best thing ever. Could watch or replay these stories a million times. Feel that they really contributed a lot of character development and lore for my WoL/WoD.
Reaper - Just perfection. I'm stunned this is only a ten level job because they pack so much in, so well, and it's just so satisfying with an NPC you can't help but love.
Dark Knight - A amazing deep dive into the WoL's heart and soul that reflects a lot of the emotions they don't necessarily share about everything happening to and around them. Just a chef's kiss from start to the level 80 quest, with memorable NPCs who will become dear friends. Mostly. Black Mage - You stop a Calamity. For reals. You work with black mages from several tribes. You meet the mother of black magic. And you also get to see a happy ending for a character who I swear must be a reflection of one of the Warriors of Darkness who really needed a happy ending somewhere. I also love the way the magic itself is portrayed, which is a very cool contrast to the whole very dogmatic black and white binary we see in other media *coughStarWars*: no magic is "evil;" it's all about how and where it is used. Absolute irony, really, that the most infuriating job in the game for me has one of the top three stories.
Arcanist - A story of triumph for a survivor of abuse and trauma, and the kindest guild master in the game (yeah, we know she's not officially the guild master but who cares, she is) Scholar - Amazing lore, amazing storytelling and characters you just can't forget and can't help but love, with this deep dive into Nym and Amdapour. Rogue - Jacke and the Rogue's Guild are a lot of fun, and this storyline was great. Dragoon - Well, if you know who's in the dragoon story you know why this one might be epic. But more than that it shows the first thoughts of shifting attitudes toward dragons, and I love the storyline with Heustienne.
Not quite the blockbusters the above were, but still really special and I think I'd enjoy repeating them very much.
Bard - Fun NPCs, some cool background info, and moogles! Sage - Well, this story won't have me joining the Forum's Fan Club anytime soon. Great cast of NPCs and some good information on Sharlayan. Pugilist - A really fun cast of characters and some prelude to the Banquet. Yes, THAT one. Gladiator - Mostly because of the guildmaster and her interactions with others, which continue all the way through the Paladin chain. Red Mage - Great NPCs, a moment of completely lapsed judgment for the WoL (hint: maybe don't go near the evil coffin next time, k?) and some really interesting lore. Astrologian - This job shows you the same magic/knowledge being used in three very different ways- in Ishgard, Sharlayan and Kugane. You will not want to join the Forum Fan Club from this either. The clothing you get from this job is simply beautiful (sadly not Rigel's style, but definitely Suvia's). The stakes for the levels 60-70 quests in Kugane are very high and really hearken to the Four Lords. Thaumaturge - The Coco brothers. OMG. Cocobuki and his merry band of brothers of destruction are pretty awesome, and what starts out as a somewhat nihilistic quest chain ends up quite heartwarming. And the Coco brothers star, which is all great. Gunbreaker - I wasn't at all sure what to expect from this quest chain, but I loved it. It makes one part of early Endwalker even more chilling, but also gives some vindication for some people who were conscripted into the Garlean army. There's also a very fun quest early on with a lot of levity and a fun NPC. Machinist - You get to work with some really wonderful NPCs, including Hilda from the MSQ. I also really liked the premise, which was to help residents of the Brume/non-nobles learn a combat skill and find their place with the defense of Ishgard. There's a lot of good stuff about Ishgard moving from a theocratic dictatorship to what it has after Heavensward. I didn't like the actual job of Machinist because it's essentially a gun, but the premise and Hilda, Joye and Stephanivien were so cool. Also, unlike any other job you get a brand-new soul crystal with nothing on it, because this is such a new job.
Paladin - Meh until level 60, although you do get some prelude to THAT banquet. You meet someone who appears to be another Warrior of Darkness' reflection. Level 60-70 serves to right a lot of wrongs and leave the WoL and player feeling very loved, supported and surrounded by friends.
Dancer - Some great NPCs, and the level 80 quest is amazing, but overall I didn't think it was as monumental as some of the others. Maurauder - I really liked the way the Marauders were incorporated into the Yellowjackets and tasked with protecting the populace of La Noscea from some unusual and dangerous threats. If you were to play through this at level with the MSQ it's a very stark contrast to the Brass Blades. Ninja - I like that Jacke and the Rogues Guild played a major role here, especially in the later stories. There was one scene in level 70 that made me burst out laughing.
Pretty placid. Nothing particularly bad or good here.
Conjurer - I literally cannot even remember what this questline is about, other than Sophie. White Mage - Sophie and Gabby are fun, and I love when a particular NPC has an, ahem, spirited conversation with the padjals but so unmemorable I can't even tell you the plot anymore.
Samurai - See white mage.
Summoner - Hooks into an interesting section of post-Shadowbringers MSQ and some of the NPCs like Prin and Y'mitra are a lot of fun, but otherwise didn't really grab me much.
Not a fan.
Archer - You constantly have to work with a xenophobic jackass in the guild, who almost succeeds in driving one of your fellow archers away. It's not fun. Warrior - I just can't make heads or tails of this story. It's funny at times, but overall a bit of a mess IMHO. So you can work with a reaper scythe, a sword and various and sundry deadly physical and magical tools without issues, but if you swing an axe you turn into the Incredible Hulk. Or something. Eh.
This is so terrible I am not even finishing it.
Monk - I really don't understand how or why this story and NPCs ended up in FFXIV. It really is the antithesis of the positivity you find in the rest of the game. The main quest giver from level 30 onward is an asshole - there's no nicer way to say it, he's an arrogant, pompous, verbally abusive asshole. He insults the WoL's intellect and character in every single conversation, and the WoL has no agency at any time to even respond. I can't think of a single reason the WoL would have even continued working with this man. I think that even during ARR, when they're getting ordered around a lot, they would have told him to fuck off and quit on the spot. They don't really get anything out of this, other than a lot of derogatory comments lobbed in their direction. Oh, and someone betrays them, and then they have to work with that person from level 50 on.
I hung on with this until level 50, with the hopes that 50-60 and onward would be better and different. Alas, no. I stopped playing the story quests at level 50. Does that mean I'm limping along with very few abilities? Damn right it does, and that's infinitely better than enduring those NPCs again. I've already decided that if it's not enough to level this to 80 and I need to complete the story quests for the amaro, I'm going to spacebar through it without even reading the text.

Here's something I'm currently gonna try, I decided to mix stuff when doing moments of two games that I was playing on my PlayStation 5. I took some moments when playing World of Final Fantasy, and no I did not get the upgrade yet, but I will when I get a chance to use up my money. So I did some progress when exploring the world of Final Fantasy and I do love the characters in the game. Especially Tama is one of my favorites, she's cute and funny. Normally the Main Character the main guy can go off the record with his attitude, but I do love his outfit, it be perfect for Vanilla to wear or for any of @bryan360's characters like one of Maxwell's friends. And I decided to add something a little funny where Tama thinks she's not smelly about her tail. That was kinda funny, but the main character, Lann doesn't have to act like a jerk to her.
And now for Gran Turismo 7 moments, I was doing a league where I used a car that can work in a 700 Touring Race. I was using my Ford Shelby GT in the race, but it wasn't fast enough, so I chose a different car and chose a Lamborghini Huracan which it's much faster, and it's a 4WD which it is souch easier to get through the race. Especially for @murumokirby360's character, Miya who is really great with 4WD vehicles even when competing in a normal race or in a Rally Race.
But if I was going to compete in a Rally Race, I could use a 4WD car that can work with Dirt Tires. I'm sure I might find some if I have any in my garage.
Shadow R 😺🗡️: I'm sure you will. And with racing and helping out in the world of Final Fantasy, I bet things are gonna be good.
Lisa 😺❤️⚡: Agree. And I admit, Tama does look really cute. Just like Chocobo and Moogle which it be perfect for Vanilla and I to use when going on an adventure in the Kingdom Smash world. Same goes for some of Maxwell's friends or anyone we know in the family to help out with.
Shadow R 😺🗡️: That's a great idea, Lisa. And yeah Moogle, Chocobo and Tama are very cute. I'm sure we can tag along with them next time we go to the Kingdom Smash world with our friends.
Lisa 😺❤️⚡: mmhmm. ^^

Blurb to write stuff about Ordin because I love him and I have had an energy drink and I got my meth patch on.
I think Ordin is kind of hard to characterize because he is essentially a Mary Sue up until endwalker where his whole world is completely shattered. He was complacent on never having to think beyond what is Hydaleans path for me, and now he has come to the realization that she is no more a God than he is. That he is an echo of her once lover, that part of longing he had always had was just his soul trying to reunite with a love he will never know.
And I think he is lost. I think he has always been not so much of a hot head, he never yells or snaps, but he has a bad fucking attitude. He lacks a lot of empathy. He is polite and will listen to your thoughts then brush them off if he deems them idiotic. Ordin is great about putting on a kind face, while reserving whatever self he might have deep inside of him. And I think for him, that face was lost when he killed Hydalean. For the rest of Endwalker, after he was done being catatonic with grief, he snapped.
Ordin talked more and he made his real thoughts of how he felt known. I think It definitely created a rift between him and the scions, them already being kind of aware of how he is but having to just watch as he crumbles in front of them. I think the twins struggled the most with this change, and it wasn't until Krile stepped up to him that he was able to figure out which peices were his and which were Azem's. The scions had to get to know Ordin all over again and Ordin had to cling to what parts he knew truly were his. I think while he loves hydalean and still is devoted to her, he feels great resentment toward Azem. He feels like he never had a chance to be him, because of Azems deep interplanar connection to Hydalean.
Dawntrail was good for him though, he loves Krile dearly so anytime he gets to spend more with her is a treat, I think it's the only real reason he went along with Wuk Lamat. She is way too much for him in general. He enjoyed the sights and he really started to fall into something that could resemble a real person. Someone who smiles gently while their words sting like venom. Someone who enjoys drawing moogles and landscapes. Someone who takes a liking to a green haired miqote and teases him any chance he can. Someone who for the first time feels grief for someone beyond himself or his god.
That's it

You still want more, right?
So, speaking of the liberation of Ala Mhigo... Helvi has always enjoyed X'rhun's tales about his homeland - very fond, nostalgic and descriptive - but it broke her heart how reluctant he was to return there and get the closure.
She snapped and yelled at him and said that his attitude was an insult to every Ala Mhigan he'd ever helped and that his pilgrimage is actually an exile, and didn't even let him respond. And in the end she felt bad for being mean to him and sounding like Ilberd, but it was too late to fix it, because she was already on the way to Doma.
So she wrote him a letter, trying to explain what she'd really meant - and she meant that people like him would always be needed and he would always be needed, and if it wasn't a love letter, it was pretty close.
Here's where the comedy starts - she sent the letter via postmoogle and enclosed a big bottle of sake... which tempted the moogle so much that he drank it on the way and confused the directions. Greatly. Enough not to make it on time. And so the letter reached X'rhun only after the liberation and the reunion and the dancing. With the bottle filled with sea water, because the moogle was oh so smart.
Having finally received and read it, he told Helvi he'd actually returned to Ala Mhigo partly because her yelling had made him think and partly because he'd hoped he would find her there.
YES! We think the same about his pilgrimage because he always mentions Ala Mhigo and how much he misses/loves his homeland but is also so reluctant to return. Like the screenshot you send it is like he thinks he is guilty. I would be so happy if he showed up during the last part of Gyr Abania arc -even just for the players who did RDM quests that would be awesome-
Also moogle situation sgvdhbjfkd. I started at Gridania and saw the famous Moogle drinking scene so it sounds extra funny to me especially the part the Moogle decided to fill the bottle also did he drink it? the seawater???
partly because he'd hoped he would find her there it is so cute combined with the dance. I really like fluff and comedy when it comes to romance so the situation between those two are... I hold them gently they deserve to be happy.

Leisurely pasttime
Preferred mount, including name and any headcanons
All the scars they have (if applicable)
Favourite flower
Place of residence
Where they consider "home"
Skill level with regards to juggling (if any)
And one fact that you always want to talk about that is too obscure to come up in normal questions
- Signed, someone who wants to know about your OCs
So many questions!! 🤩 thank you!! I’m going to put these under a cut because I know it’s gonna be a lot! Since I wasn’t asked about any specific character I’ll just default to Aoii, but please feel free to ask about any other ocs I have if you’d like to know more!!
Aoii’s favorite food is actually La Noscean Toast or Knights bread. Bacon bread is a close second too.
Her day job, when she’s not doing hero work, is running a courier service with her twin sister. They’re called “Two Cats Courier” and they’ll deliver anything too large for a moogle, and even offer guarded escort services! She also runs a small bakery out of their office too
Her shoes have to be custom made, due to having Hrothgar-esque paws from genetics on her mothers side. She either gets her shoes custom made, or forgoes them altogether!
Despite her chipper attitude, Aoii’s actually afraid of a lot of things. She’s learned how to mask her more negative emotions and her concern fairly well, but one fear that constantly grips her is forgetting herself or her loved ones.
Due to having a bard as a friend, she’s rather open to different music styles, but her favorite would have to be anything with a quick tempo and a lot of percussion.
Her birth name has been lost to both her and her sister since they were young. It’s not until around Stormblood that they even learn they’re from a Seeker tribe somewhere in Gyr Abania. Ever since she was adopted by a small merchant family in Ul’Dah her name has since been Aoii Shio. As for her titles she has the usual “Eikon Slayer”, “hero”, “Warrior of Light”, etc. though the one title she’s taken for herself is “Elpiphoros”. It has a deep connection to both her, and the one who gave it to her.
Aoii has a LOT of embarrassing stories between her and her two partners, but the one she’s still openly embarrassed over is how in both relationships, she jumped to conclusions far too soon.
With Estinien, she thought that him and Ysayle had started growing… close to one another.
With Hien, she assumed he already had an established relationship with Yugiri. Both were simple discussions, had she not gone completely out of her way to try setting them up on dates to be nice.
Her best friend’s name is Katakane Akagane, a raen from the Steppe and the holder of her common sense most days.
Aoii has a fairly modest bust size, as far as she’s concerned. It’s about a C.
Her favorite pastime that doesn’t involve work would be spending time in the Doman Enclave’s garden with a nice cup of tea. She’s also been known to steal away to the Golden Saucer and is an avid Triple Triad enjoyer!
Her favorite mount would definitely be her black chocobo, gifted from Haurchefant. She lovingly named her Cocoa 💙
Aoii actually only has three major scars. She has smaller ones scattered across her hands, arms and legs from various activities, adventuring and just from being klutzy, but the most significant ones would be; a thin slice on her cheek from her duel with Fray, a long clean scar spanning across her back from her first encounter with Zenos, and a nearly matching version of that very scar across the bridge of her nose yet again from Zenos in her last clash with him.
Aoii’s favorite flowers are sakura blossoms. She doesn’t wear many hair accessories, but she had a Sakura clip gifted to her from Hien. She’s also fond of Hydrangeas too.
She currently resides in the Mist, with her sister.
Her home, however, would be wherever her loves are.
Aoii might have a lot of clownery, but she can not juggle to save her life
One fact I like to talk about but never comes up is how her aether has managed to merge with her sister’s and brother’s during the Calamity. It’s why she has the red streaks in her hair and her markings on her arms when she’s casting is actually the pattern for Passage of Arms.

Tokimeki★Final Fantasy Madouin Perystilium Suzaku ~May the Crystal guide me to love★~
※ THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION. ※
A fake project presented on the Square-Enix channel broadcast in September 2012, this is the apparent precursor of the popular fictional YA novel series "Tokimeki★Akademeia" which appears in Final Fantasy Agito. (Which began its own development in September of the same year.)
The following is a translation of the slides presenting the characters and details regarding this fake game.
If you’re a Type-0 fan, this is probably the deepest layer of the iceberg. Enjoy.
Introduction
Khalia Chival XXV, the heroine who recently enrolled, is currently the only female cadet at Akademeia. Entrusted with a "certain role", she encounters cadets with unique personalities as she goes about her everyday school life.
What kind of predicaments await in her future?! And what is the tragic destiny she's shouldering?! May the Crystal guide her through her dokidoki school life!
--
The following are plans for the game
--
◆ Khalia's Destiny
The female protagonist's true motive is revenge.
She was once told the story of the tragic death of her ancestor, Khalia Chival VIII.
She bears the sad destiny to eradicate the descendants of Class Zero in order to avenge her family.

◆ ATB System
In this game, the protagonist performs various actions which are all advanced via the ATB system.
- Active Time Lesson - Active Time Talk - Active Time Battle - Active Time Lecture
◆ Active Time Lesson
Active Time Lessons begin when class starts. Do your best to not be outdone by other students by making full use of your magic and abilities to solve the teacher's rapid fire questions.
◆ Active Time Talk
You can interact with NPCs during your free time. These conversations are also managed with the Active Time system.
Grasp your conversation partner's mood and favorite subjects to create an enjoyable back-and-forth to deepen your relationship.
◆ Active Time Battle
Active Time Battles are fought with ATB commands. This will be used in training exercises and other battles. With this system, you'll never lose a battle in this game. You can fight together with the boys you meet by adding them to your party. If one of your party members is knocked out, your other acquaintances will appear one after another to fight.
If you run out of boys, you should run away. You'll definitely be safe that way. This is because the rate of escape in this game is 100%.
◆ Active Time Lecture
If you don't follow school rules, you'll be reprimanded by Kurasame-sensei.
Even when you're being scolded, you can have an Active Time conversation.
- If you're discovered while trying to sneak into the boys' dorm at night, you'll be scolded by Kurasame-sensei.
- If you dress inappropriately, you'll be scolded by Kurasame-sensei.
- If you talk to Kurasame-sensei too much at school, you'll be scolded.

Character Introductions
--
Khalia Chival XXV Class: Zero CV: Nishi Asuka (西 明日香)
"I'm going to do my best! Because I want to see everyone in Orience smile!"
The main character. A hardworking, somewhat withdrawn girl. She infiltrates Akademeia to fulfill her mission to eliminate the bloodline of her family's sworn enemy, Class Zero. Through her encounters at the academy, she is torn between her destiny and love.
Aoi Futatsuboshi Class: Second CV: N/A
"The Crystal's guidance... That's just a load of nonsense. The Crystal won't protect you..."
A calm and serious honor student. He is a member of Class Second, known for being at the top in terms of combat strength. However, because of this, he has lost many friends and has adopted a cold attitude to hide his sadness. At first, he acts unfriendly towards the heroine, but as they grow closer, his true feelings come out.
Yotsuba Tokijiku Class: Fourth CV: N/A
"You're trying too hard on your missions. Here, I'll cast Cure for you. Let me take a look."
He gives the impression of someone who's blunt and difficult to get along with, but he's actually an extremely considerate young man. Belonging to Class Fourth which specializes in healing magic, he aims to become Agito because he wants to save everyone. He takes care of the heroine any way he can while she's still getting used to Akademeia.
Mowegi Itsukaichi Class: Fifth CV: N/A
"*yaaawn*... Huh~? Hey, have you seen a pink moogle doing a backflip around here~?"
A mysterious boy who always seems to be sleepy. He never remembers who other people are and constantly makes airheaded remarks, so he does poorly in class, but he demonstrates his genius ability in real combat. The heroine, who he met while taking a nap, is one of the few people whose face and name he can remember.
Sakurano Nanafusa Class: Seventh CV: N/A
"What's with the gloomy face? C'mon, get on my Chocobo!"
He greets the heroine, who is new to Akademeia, in a casual and friendly way. Obsessed with Chocobos, he promotes the Chocobo Research Club, also known as the "Choco Club", where he studies Chocobo physiology. He's sensitive about his height, so mentioning it is forbidden.
Note: This seems to be the same "Choco Club" Izana asks Player to join in FF Agito.
Kohaku Kokonoe Class: Ninth CV: N/A
"Were I to describe you... You are my Megalixer. You will shine radiantly in the final battle!"
A handsome young man from an esteemed family, he's expected to have a promising future as an elite...... But he's kind of overly self-conscious and has an unfortunately strange way of thinking. He has his eye on the heroine and is always exuding an absolutely bizarre energy. In actuality, he's a member of Class Ninth, which takes on Akademeia's "dirty work." His lighthearted attitude is a response to the melancholy missions he must carry out.
Mashiro Tootoichi Class: Eleventh CV: KENN
"Watch this! My Flare Bullets will hit their break sights! ...YEOWCH IT’S HOT?!"
The king of inventions who's always getting ahead of himself. As part of the research class, Class Eleventh, he spends his time working day and night to develop new weapons, though his skill isn't quite up to par yet. He even carelessly loses control of his magic and gets the heroine involved in his mess?!
Asagi Hitotose Class: Twelfth CV: Hiroki Yasumoto (安元 洋貴)
"I would appreciate it if you would refrain from talking in the Crystarium. If you are truly a cadet like me, then behave in a manner befitting of Agito."
Although he's a straight-laced person who receives excellent grades, his uncooperative personality is his downfall, earning him a place in "the oddball group", Class Twelfth. His thorny words make it easy for him to be misunderstood, but he isn't trying to be malicious. He's simply awkward. As a result, he's concerned about having no friends. He gets along with the heroine on a mission, but he just can't express himself...
---
What's in a name?
The names of these cadets seem to be referring to their class number and mantle colors.
Aoi: Blue Futatsuboshi: From "futatsu", two
Yotsuba: Four-leaf Tokijiku: (Not sure. May literally mean “time axis.”)
Moegi: Light yellowish green Itsukaichi: From "itsu", five
Sakurano: From "sakura", pink cherry blossoms Nanafusa: From "nana", seven
Kohaku: Amber Kokonoe: Ninefold
Mashiro: Pure white Tootoichi: Literally "Ten and one"
Asagi: Pale blue-green Hitotose: Literally “one year” or “some time ago"
