hello, could I request Monty and glamrock Freddy’s reaction to a crush who can spout off animal facts.
she normally does child friendly one because of where she’s at, but perhaps one night shift she accidentally talks about how ‘bears can rip off the head of a moose in one swipe’ or ‘alligators are opportunistic feeders, so they can and have performed cannibalism or has taken to eaten human meat.’
I’m sorry if this doesn’t follow guidelines or if it’s too long. Please feel free to ignore if so.
🎩Glamrock Freddy + "The More You Know:"🎩
Well, that is...an interesting fact, Superstar! Thank you for sharing! It is a good thing that natural bears are extinct. And you do not have to worry about him ripping off any heads! Of course! He's very quick to try and change the subject. He likes your animal facts, but that one really caught him off-guard, and he's not going to be able to stop thinking about it for a while. (-cut to Freddy in his room, staring at his hands- "I would never. But could I...?")
🐊Montgomery Gator + "The More You Know:"🐊
You know those moments in comedies when someone is playing a guitar, and then a character makes a weird comment, and the guitar string snaps as everyone freezes? That's pretty much what happens. Monty was tuning his bass when you said it, and TWANG! Cue a snapped string and a very concerned looking alligator. Oh... Huh. Good thing he prefers the food court! Haha! Ha...ha... (Maybe he should cut back on the "man-eater" jokes...)

“I steal a few breaths
From the world for a minute
And then I’ll be nothing forever
And all of my memories
And all of the things I have seen
Will be gone
With my eyes with my body with me”
-
“Miguel!” you call out shakily, your daughter, Gabriella, secure on your back. Your husband instinctively sprints toward the two of you, as you desperately try to escape the collapsing of your universe.
“Take Gabi, I-I gotta help Peter B.,” you lift your now sobbing daughter off your back and into Miguels’ arms. Miguel opens his mouth for a split second, before it zips shut again. He gives you a firm nod, his thick brows furrowed, before cradling your daughter to his chest and leaning in to give your temple a kiss. You kiss the top of Gabi’s head swiftly, before using your webs to swing towards Peter B., who is in the middle of moving - no, shoving - civilians toward safety. It breaks your heart when you hear your daughter’s fearful whimpers as Miguel reassures her, telling her everything will be okay.
Not even five minutes later, you spot Miguel running with Gabriella in his arms, people glitching out of existence left and right. You swing towards them, a few metres behind them, before you are stopped by Peter, his hands firm on your shoulders, telling you it’s too dangerous. Peter’s tall figure and Miguel’s even taller and broader figure obscures most of your view, but you choke back a sob as you catch sight of your daughter disintegrating in her fathers arms. Not really her fathers arms, but you didn’t know that yet.
“Dad! Dad, no!” Gabriella cries, before disappearing, leaving Miguel staring where her body was a second ago, breathing heavily. You couldn’t help but rip off your mask and bury your head in your shaking hands, sobbing hysterically.
-
“But me and my husband
We’re doing better
It’s always been just him and me
Together”
-
quick a/n: DONT ASK HOW READER SURVIVED, FEEL FREE TO MAKE UP WHATEVER THEORY YOU SEE FIT :)
“Miguel. We gotta move, you’ll have to bring your er…wife, too.” Peter calls and the world seems to close in. You’re still sobbing into your own hands - mask left forgotten on the ground -, Miguel immobile, still staring blankly into his hands.
“Okay.” Miguel says after a few beats, his voice uneven with grief. Out of the corner of your eye, in front of Miguell, a hexagonal, orange…portal? opens up and he steps signals for Peter to go through. Peter releases your shoulders, though not before giving them a reassuring squeeze, and a nod at Miguel before making his way into the portal. Once it’s just the two of you, Miguel is immediately at your side, drawing you into his chest. He presses a kiss to the top of your head before crouching to wipe your tears away with his thumbs. Your tears have subsided, reduced to sniffles. Miguel smiles sadly at you, murmuring,
“C’mon, cariño. I’m sorry, but we have to go. Now.” you nod at his words, running with him into the portal.
-
“So I bet all I have on that
Furrowed brow
And at least in this lifetime
We’re sticking together
Me and my husband
We’re sticking together”
-
“Mig, what is this? Where are we? What just happened?!” you cry, shaking his wrists. You’re in a dark, strange room filled with all sorts of holographic technology. It looks so futuristic, like it came straight out of one of those robotic or intergalactic movies you would watch with what was your family, until a few minutes ago. Peter B. was in the room as well, staring off into the distance to give you and your husband some privacy. Miguel sighed,
“This is…this is my office?” he frowns, almost…confused?
“My office in the Spider Society Headquarters.” he finishes, leaving you even more confused than you were a few moments ago.
“Miguel. You’re not making any sense. I know you’re Spider-Man, but didn’t-didn’t you work at-?”
“I haven’t been truly honest with you. Let me explain from the beginning.”
“You, you replaced my dead husband?! You were the cause of MY daughter’s death?! The cause of my ‘universe’s collapse? I-I…” you broke off, sobbing again. You felt so much betrayal. So much hurt, anger. And now Miguel - the man you thought was your husband - wants you to join his little gang of Spiders? Hell. No.
“Before you say anything, you can’t really go anywhere else without glitching, or causing its universe to collapse - if you stay there long enough.” Miguel says, looking at his feet.
“He’s not wrong, you know. Glitching is painful as well. Take it from me.” Peter B. cuts in, offering you a tight smile. You painfully realise that Miguel is right, you don’t have anywhere to go. And you suppose it would be nice to still see your husband’s face everyday. You still love him, despite the fact he isn’t really the Miguel you thought you knew.
“Fine. But you’re going to have to tell me more about how you came to be here, Miggy.” you tell Miguel, who goes red at the nickname you use for him. Clearly, he was caught off guard, assuming you would be visibly fuming at him. Peter B. chuckles lowly, murmuring, “Miggy,” under his breath before suppressing a snicker.
You had trained hard to get to where you are now, mentally and physically. The death of your only daughter took a heavy toll on you, but a few months later, you can confidently say you were okay. It turns out that while Miguel was in your dimension, his AI assistant, Lyla, had been keeping a hand on the wheel, extending invitations to Spider-People that Miguel had deemed qualified enough to the Spider Society. The missions you went on were usually pretty uneventful, due to the fact that the anomalies or whatever you were chasing were almost always outnumbered, and usually outpowered by the legion of Spider-People hunting them down. Though there were always missions where you and/or a few others came back heavily injured. On your most recent mission, you came back with a sprained ankle, and many cuts and bruises on your body. Miguel was not impressed; patching you up while huffing and puffing about you needing to be more careful. It seems that you got special treatment, understandable, right? You are his wife after all…
You take a large bite into a Spider-Man 2099 themed burger with a grin, internally laughing at the fact that Miguel hadn’t noticed them yet. Peter B. sits opposite you, Pavitr to your left, and Hobie sitting across from him.
“I think it’s kinda funny that Miguel hasn’t caught onto these burgers yet,” you say with a small laugh, setting the burger down. Pav is already cackling at the thought, while Hobie sits there with his signature smirk plastered on his face while Peter chuckles slightly.
“Yeah it’s a miracle, he’s usually so observant. Ooor…he does know, and likes them,” he says, a large grin on his face by the end of his sentence. You silently agree with him, as you listen to the animated conversation that Pavitr had started up with Hobie, Peter making a few contributions occasionally.
Lyla simultaneously displays from the gizmos on your wrists, telling you all,
“Miguel wants you all to see him, for a mission.” finishing with a playful wink.
“Okaay! Another mission, let’s go!” Pavitr says, bubbly as always. You couldn’t help but smile as you get up and follow the rest of the group, while Pavi giggles about something along the lines of “being Spider-Man is so easy and soo fun!”.
While walking through the tech-junk filled sort of hallway in Miguel’s office, you spot Hobie shamelessly pocketing a few loose pieces. You playfully punch him on the shoulder, quietly scolding him for his antics. He smirks and remarks,
“The bossman won’t notice, got bigger things to worry ‘bout, yeah?”. You laugh and shake his head at his words, as you approach the high-up platform, waiting for it to painfully descend. After a few moments you’re able to make out Miguel’s form, facing the four of you, his hands on his waist; his signature stance. Peter giggles out of the corner of his mouth, muttering,
“Always so dramatic.”. You silently agree with him, as Miguel walks towards you guys, chin slightly up, eyes peering down at your faces.
“We have another Doc Ock variant, an anomaly from Earth 1829 in Earth 5820. I will be coming with you lot for this mission.” Miguel finishes, glaring slightly at you by the end of it. You will yourself not to roll your eyes, knowing that all he’s coming along to practically babysit you. You settle for a glare back at him, before his eyes flicker to Hobie, pointing at him and telling him not to do anything stupid. Hobie puts his hands up in mock surrender,
“Got it, ‘m not going anywhere.” he says, unable to stop his smirk from turning into a grin.
“Dios mÍo…I don’t know why I still tolerate you.” Miguel huffs out, pinching the bridge of his nose before turning away from him and going back toward his desk. He types something up on his keyboard, and the illuminated monitor displays an image of an octopus? What on Earth is-
“Looks like Doc Oc found away to become one with the octopus,” Peter snickers; Pavitr giggling with him.
“Correct, Peter. That is what we’ll be after. We must hurry before it wreaks havoc in New York.”Miguel states, while opening a portal to New York City, Earth 5820. You walk through in a single file line, coming out on the top of a building. The air smells smoky, smokier than that of your universe of origin. The ground shook, clearly, the Doc Ock variant had caused a substantial amount of damage already.
“It’s coming from Times Square, let’s go!” Miguel bellowed, swinging toward the cause of the earthquake, everyone following suit. As you get closer, you take in the sight of a ginormous blue-green octopus with metallic pincers on the end of them snapping menacingly at the fleeing crowd of people.
“Woah…” you breathe, eyes widening when you realise that it’s more like a half-octopus, the tentacles being the bottom part of a woman.
“She looks like Ursula from The Little Mermaid, don’t you think?” you call out to the group, Peter and Pavitr agreeing with you.
“Enough with the jokes, let’s-” Miguel starts, before the Doc Ock swivels around to face your group, swinging toward her.
“-Okay, new plan. Let’s split up; Peter, Pavitr, Hobie - you three stick together and distract the anomaly!” The men nod and advance forward to do as instructed while you and Miguel swing towards the nearest apartment rooftop to hopefully discuss further gameplan. When Miguel doesn’t say anything, your lenses narrow as you glower at him, not over the fact that you were practically being babysat by your husband; Miguel takes note of this.
“I- okay, before you say anything, I’m mainly here because I don’t trust that punk Hobie.” He assures you, putting emphasis on the last part, “I also want to make sure you-everyone has someone they can fall back on, and protect them if…things get rough.”. Fortunately for Miguel, this was good enough for you, giving him a curt nod.
“Got it. Soo, how are we gonna contain the anomaly?” you question. Miguel was quick to answer,
“While the others distract Doc Ock, we’re going to use my webs to bind it, and entrap it in a Trap Box and get it back to HQ. Got it?”. You nod and use your webs to catapult yourself in Doc Ock’s direction. Miguel’s plan goes smoothly, the anomaly tightly bound by Miguel’s red, digital webs. Peter and Pavitr were aiding civilians trying to get away, trying to bring some order to the chaos. You and Hobie were in the process of disarming Doc Ock of her pincers, using a mixture of webbing, tugging, and other devices - courtesy of Margo.
“Bloody pincers take forever to take off…” Hobie muttered irritably. He called your name saying, “You mind finding somethin' to to 'elp us?”, you nod, jumping off the rubble you were standing on to look for anything big, sharp, or dangerous to aid you. That’s when you spot Miguel, with those talon-like appendages that stick out of the arms of his suit.
“Miguel! We can’t get the damn pincers off quick enough, could ya’ help?!” you call out. Miguel shoots you a look, and you know that through his mask, he’s already annoyed.
“I’m kinda busy, sweetheart! Can’t you shocking see that?!” he shouts at you, before sighing heavily and using one of the hands tugging the glowing web taut to shoot another out toward a stray tentacle, swiftly yanking off the pincer. You aim your web shooters toward another pincer and let them fly, sticking onto the metal.
After a good while of tugging and frustration, you finally get another pincer off, but you and Hobie realise that it’s no use, rushing over to Miguel’s side,
“Wh-What are you guys doing?! Get rid of the pincers!” Miguel yells, agitation coating his words. Hobie explains it’s no use, and that you guys should be helping him contain the anomaly in other ways. Miguel grunts in response, before instructing the two of you to use your webs to bind the anomaly while Miguel sets up a Trap Box. Once you’ve got your webs wound around the entire figure of Doc Ock, Miguel releases his webs and starts setting up the digital containment chamber. Miguel was almost done, but then you heard a scream, the scream of a small child. You whip your head toward the sound and see a small child amongst the few 100 other people who haven’t made their way out yet - stuck under a piece of rubble. Hobie notices and murmurs,
“Nah, don’t, love. Get Pav or Peter to do it. We gotta deal with this…”. You don’t know what happened - one second you were doing what was instructed of you, and the next you had let your webs fall slack as you dash for the crying child. You reach the child and help him get free of the rubble, and scooping him into your arms, as Hobie yells a stream of slurs as the anomaly starts to wriggle free. Hobie calls for you to help him, unable to hold Doc Ock down. You just stand there, cradling the crying child to your chest. Behind you, Miguel stands fuming, even though he and Hobie had managed to contain the anomaly, who is now banging its tentacle at the digital walls.
“Mujer estúpida,” Miguel mumbles, as he calls for everyone to gather round. You reluctantly set the child down, and slowly turn toward Miguel. The realisation of what you had done risked the fate of the multiverse. When you finally turn around, you’re greeted with a seething 6’9 man. You can practically see the steam coming from his ears. (Translation: stupid woman)
Once you’re in his office - your masks off -, Pavitr, Hobie, and Peter dismissed, Miguel is borderline screaming at you for your reckless act to save the child, who,
“-would have been fine even if you didn’t save him!” and that, “no matter how pure your intentions are, your main priority is to SAVE. THE. MULTIVERSE. Regardless of what you have to do.”. After the twenty minutes your boss spent berating you for your actions - and what their consequences may be - you’re left standing meekly in front of him, head hung low, staring at your feet. Miguel exhales a long sigh,
“Look,” he says, his tone much softer than the one he used a few moments earlier, “I think I know why you saved that damn kid. I…I understand that, querida, I do. But that is not always the best thing to do. Not when there is so much more at stake,”. You nod, understanding his words.
“I hate yelling at you, it breaks my heart to see you shatter like this - because of me. I’m sorry,” Miguel tells you, bending down to be closer to eye-level with you. You slowly look up at him, your eyes wide and glassy. Miguel is briefly reminded of a baby deer, with the way your eyes look and the way the start of your eyebrows quirk up in sorrow. He spreads his arm wide enough for you to stumble into them, and when you do, he envelopes you in an embrace, his hand rubbing your back soothingly.
“No, I’m sorry. I should’ve let one of the others take care of that child. I let my emotions get the better of me.” you mumble, returning the hug.
“All in all, we still stopped the anomaly from causing further damage, so don’t worry about it, okay? When we get home, we’ll go out okay? I know a new place that’s gotten a ton of good reviews…” your husband suggests, trying to make you feel even just a little bit better about the situation. You nod into his chest.
-
“And I am the idiot with the painted face
In the corner, taking up space
But when he walks in, I am loved, I am loved”
-
While Miguel had brushed off the fact that you almost risked the fate of the multiverse, a portion of the thousands of other Spiders hadn’t. Initially, when word got around that you slipped up, most people didn’t care, until they learnt what the cause of it was.
“All for a child?” “Seriously?” “How reckless!” were some of the many comments people had to offer. They weren’t horrible, just the occasional stink eyes and scoffs when you were around.
“It’s like no one else has done something wrong! What I did wasn’t even that bad!” you rant to Peter B., exasperated. The man in front of you lets out a series of “uhuh”s, “mhm”s and “exactly!”s whilst preoccupied with the little redheaded toddler trying to climb up a wall. You sigh, before making your exit, heading over to Sector 8.
Once walking through the gates of Sector 8, there’s a wave of silence as the Spider people occupying the area stare intently at you, silently scrutinising you. You timidly walk around groups of congregating Spiders, the hubbub of chatter returning.
“How is she still part of the Society? After what she risked…” you hear from a Peter Parker variant. That comment didn’t phase you but what stung was the response from a gossipy variant of Mary-Jane,
“Perks of being Miguel’s wife, she’s had everything here handed to her on a silver platter. I didn't take Miguel to be one to play favourites.”. Pushing through another group, you struggle to stop the tears from stinging your eyes. You shoot a web to the nearest corner, mounting yourself on the wall, and you tear your mask off. Your hair bounces out and sort of tilts to the side, due to the fact that you’re sitting on the wall.  Sinking into a cross-legged position, you bury your head in your hands, eyes closed, not necessarily crying or anything, just taking a break from the multiverse. You focus on your breathing, breathing in and out, in and out as a way to calm yourself, deflecting all the nasty things that the Spiders, who should theoretically be nice beings, had said about the whole ordeal.
You stay like that for a while, happy in your own little world, before a firm tap on your knee gets you to look up - no, sideways from your position. Miguel. Standing on the ground, looking up at you with concern.
“You alright, mi vida?”
You smile in response, nodding your head yes as you leap from your spot on the wall to Miguel’s side. He faces you and puts his hands on your shoulders, his touch surprisingly gentle.
“One of the guys notified me that you were seeming kind of out of it,” he pauses, trying to find the right words to articulate, “I came to check on you.”. Now it’s your turn to look up at him,
“Yeah I’m fine, Miggy.” you assure him, peering at his reddened eyes through your lashes. Miguel tilts his head to the side and frowns slightly, before sighing and guides your head to his chest with a large hand. He dips his head to kiss the top of yours, glowering at any of the other Spiders who’re staring.
“I love you, okay? You are one of, if not the most amazing person I’ve ever known. You work so hard, and always put in 200% and you’re always looking out for everyone, even if it means risking the Arachno-Humanoid-Polymultiverse.” he expressed, grimacing a bit at the ridiculously long name he had coined for the multiverse. You laugh, pressing your nose to Miguel’s chest. No matter what happens, you think, it’ll always be me and my husband.

There were very few downsides to being a Track-hoe. You enjoyed being outdoors all day, breathing in the fresh air and the amazing smell of fresh plants, chatting with your fellow track-hoes and generally enjoying yourself.
The main issue you had was the dirt.
Sure, it was essential to your job, but it was the worst possible thing about it. You didn’t even mind the sweat and aching muscles most of the time, because that just meant a job well done. But the dirt? If you could plant and grow things without it, you would. The way it stuck to your clothes, your skin. How it buried itself into your pores and underneath your fingernails and took forever to scrub off your skin.
The biggest upside, however, was Newt.
You’d been here almost 2 years, and he was quite possibly your favorite person in the Glade. He was the first person besides Alby to reach out and connect with you, not really caring or fearing the fact that you were, and still are, the only girl. Minho was the second person to do the same.
Newt, over time, had become your biggest confidant about almost everything. You spent pretty much all of your spare time with him, and he with you. After long days, you’d take the time after dinner to walk around the Glade. Sometimes you’d talk, and sometimes you’d just enjoy one another’s presence. Everyone knew not to mess with you, and the Greenies that didn’t usually learned their lesson pretty quickly.
You liked to call him your protector with a smile, mostly because he’d always flush bright red at the compliment.
It’d been a few days since the box came up, and the newest Greenie, Jason, was still getting his bearings around the Glade. He’d only learned his name yesterday, and that was after he threw up watching Winston show him how the slicers do their jobs. Today, he was with you and the other Track-hoes.
He’d been mostly hovering near Zart and Newt, who were showing him the ropes. You, however, caught him glancing over at you a few too many times. It was normal for a Greenie, and for you, since you were the only girl. But it didn’t stop you from feeling slightly uncomfortable.
Jason had been staring at you — as Zart was showing him how to de-weed the vegetables — until Newt clapped him on the shoulder. Faintly, you could hear them talking.
“Stop staring, mate. Focus on the job.” Newt said, his tone laced with that all-too-familiar protectiveness. It made you smile, the way his eyes pierced into Jason’s and struck him with a fear he seemed to make all the Greenies feel when it came to you.
After a while, you felt Jason resume his staring, even after Newt’s ‘warning’. You knew that he’d learn sooner or later, you just hoped it was the latter. While you were digging up some carrots, knowing it would take you forever to clean under your fingernails before dinner, Newt’s shadow blocked your view of the sun, forcing you to look up at him.
“Come on,” he nodded to the deadheads. “Zart said we need more fertilizer.”
Extending a hand upward, Newt pulled you to your feet before handing you the second bucket. As you departed from the gardens, you swung the empty bucket and sighed. “I don’t know why he never just sends one of us. There’s no way this is a two person job.”
“I’ve stopped questioning Zart,” Newt shrugged. “He’s the Keeper, what he says, goes. That’s all.”
Contemplating Newt’s words, you looked up at the leaves for a moment and tripped on a root. Newt barely caught you as you lurched forward, both buckets landing on the forest floor. “Besides, I think if you tried to do this yourself, you’d trip and break your neck.”
“Well,” you exaggerated a sigh, “can’t have that, can we?”
Newt shook his head, grabbing the buckets. “No, we can’t.”
After making it to the fertilizer pile and back with no further injury, the day carried on as normal. Newt and Zart continued training and carefully watching the Greenie to see if he was exactly up for the job of Track-hoe.
By the time the dinner bell rang, you were exhausted. You felt like this most days, but today you had to devote more energy than usual on making sure the Greenie wasn’t staring at you as if you’d solve all of his problems just by talking to him.
You and Newt took off at the same time, chatting about the Greenie and whether he was good for the Track-hoes or not. “I hope not,” you groaned. “He keeps staring at me. He’d spend more time looking at me than doing his actual job if he got put with us.”
“I know,” Newt chuckled. “I spent the day with the poor shank. You have no idea how many times I had to divert his attention back to his work, it was unbelievable.”
You shook your head. “Trust me, I know. I could feel him staring at me all damn day.”
The dining hall was already pretty full of Gladers, milling about or grabbing food or sitting down. Quickly, you could smell Frypan’s beef stew wafting from the pots on the table. Your stomach suddenly felt empty, and you couldn’t wait to pour yourself a bowl. You and Newt moved in tandem, pouring out soups into your own bowls from ladles hooked on the edge of the metal pots and grabbing cups of water from the table beside you.
Minho was already sitting at your usual table, peacefully eating his soup amid the usual chaos. Joining him, you and Newt sat across from him, digging into your food. Minho usually ate in silence, with the exception of joking around when the others got to the table, so you didn’t mind listening to the din of the conversations happening around you for a little while.
Soon, Frypan joined Minho’s side of the table, already boasting about how well received the stew was. Just as he was about to ask how everyone liked it, and as you were spooning more into your mouth, Jason approached your and Minho’s end of the table.
“Hi.” He said, entire body stiff, as if unclenching his muscles would make him disappear.
“...Hello?” You replied. “Is there something you need, Greenie?”
Jason laughed, but it sounded more like he was choking. “No, no. I just— I, um, I was wondering—”
“Cool it, slinthead,” Minho interrupted. “You’re not going to get anywhere with Y/n, here. She and Newt are practically married, even if they don’t know they are.”
With a disgruntled air around him, Jason admitted defeat and left the table to go find somewhere to eat his dinner.
You furrowed your brows at Minho. “Me and Newt aren’t married, what the shuck was that all about?”
As if things couldn’t get worse, Gally stepped up to the table on Newt’s other side. “Are we talking about you and Newt? Have you finally gotten your clunk together and started dating? Because I’ve been waiting for this for almost two years.”
“Nah,” Frypan said. “They’re too scared to admit something like that, Gally. You know that.”
“Yeah, and it’s getting on all of our nerves.” Minho said. “It irritates me more than the Newbies do.”
“Could you stop talking about us like we’re not here?” Newt snapped. “It’s really annoying.”
The group exchanged looks and you couldn’t help but smile. The rest of the dinner passed, and soon Alby joined you at Frypan’s side. The conversation flowed, as per usual, and you were able to let go of the pain your joints carried as you went back for a second helping and relaxed with your friends until sundown.
It was no surprise that Newt left when you did in order to walk you back to your room in the Homestead, where he bid you goodnight and headed to his own just down the hall. Just as he reached the door, though, he turned back and walked over to you.
“Just letting you know,” he began, “The Greenie’s staying on as a track-hoe tomorrow. Alby doesn’t want him doing a trial as a Medjack just yet. But I won’t be there either. Me and Gally have to be in the council hall tomorrow to talk with some of the other Keepers about scheduling. Stay safe, please.”
You giggled. “Don’t worry, Newt, I’ll be just fine. The most that Greenie’s gonna do is stare at me, and I can’t die from something like that. Plus, I’ll have Zart and the other Track-hoes with me for the day.”
He sighed, almost reluctant to go most of the day without you. “I’ll see you at breakfast then?”
“Yes, you will.” You nodded. “And dinner. Now go to sleep, Newt.”
With another goodnight, you and Newt headed into your respective rooms to settle in and go to bed, an unusual day ahead of you.
Tumblr media
Despite waking up and starting your day with Newt as you usually would, it felt odd to split from him after Frypan served breakfast. It felt odd to not turn to him for casual conversation as you de-weeded the tomatoes and harvested carrots for tonight’s dinner — some sort of fried rice, you remember Frypan telling you at dinner last night.
Your day passed in relative silence aside from occasional chatter with the track-hoes or receiving orders from Zart. You avoided Jason as best as you could, and it seemed his embarrassment from last night still lingered as he was determined to stay on the opposite side of the field, despite still staring at you when he got the chance.
Sometime near the end of the day, you’d run out of fertilizer, and as usual Zart had sent you with both buckets to refill them. The trek was definitely boring without Newt to talk to, but you managed to fill both buckets and head most of the way back without incident, injury, or going crazy in the silence of the deadheads.
However, your luck was bound to run out at some point.
Just as the rays of sunshine were poking out from the field ahead, you tripped on a particularly large tree root sticking out of the ground. Both buckets flung from your hands as you stuck them out, attempting to break your own fall. Pain radiated from your ankle, palms, and wrists as you landed harshly on the ground, staining your clothes and skin with dirt.
After you processed what happened and pulled yourself up, you first inspected your palms. Wiping away the dirt, several scrapes and cuts revealed themselves, accompanied by irritated and angry skin surrounding them. Taking a moment to catch your breath, you tried your best to stand, but crumbled when you put weight on your right foot.
Hissing, you pulled up your pant leg and tried to touch around the area, only bringing yourself more pain as you did so. Figuring out how to get out of here was going to be difficult, especially without abandoning the buckets of fertilizer. After some time, you managed to find a particularly large stick to support the weight you would’ve put on your injured foot, hooked one bucket handle on the crook of your elbow, and took the other in your free hand.
As best as you could manage, you brought the fertilizer to Zart, who quickly took notice of your condition.
“What the shuck happened to you?!” He exclaimed as you shifted your weight.
Looking down at your foot, you sighed. “A large tree root got the jump on me, Zart. Now will you please help me to the Medjacks so I don’t have to use this shucking stick anymore?”
Almost jumping into action, Zart wrapped an arm around your torso and pulled your right one around his neck, helping you along to the other side of the Glade. You were beginning to see now why he usually sent Newt with you.
Upon reaching the Medjack hut, Clint and Jeff took over for Zart, ushering him away to get back to work. You were grateful for the Medjacks and the care they seemed to take with you. They made sure it was relatively painless for you as Clint examined your ankle and Jeff cleaned the cuts on your palms, keeping casual conversation with you as they did so.
It was only as Clint was wrapping your ankle — Jeff already having done so with the heels of your palms — that Newt came barrelling into the room.
“We were wondering where you were,” Jeff quipped as he put away the roll of gauze he’d just used.
Newt ignored the other two people in the room and came to sit on the edge of your bed. “What the bloody hell happened to you?”
“It’s not like I almost died, Newt.” You told him, but let him take your hands into his to look at. “I was getting the fertilizer from the deadheads and tripped on a root. It’s nothing more than a twisted ankle, I promise.”
“You promised you’d be fine today without me.” Newt corrected you, and you couldn’t help but chuckle.
“And I was. I just lost my footing to a root. I’ll be back up and running in a few days. Right, Clint?”
The boy at the end of the bed nodded, taping the tensor bandages into place. “Exactly. After three days of no work and constant elevation, you’ll be just fine.”
Newt looked back at the boy. “Are you sure?”
“Yes, I am.” Clint said. “I’ll even have Jeff come check up on her twice a day to make sure her foot heals. Okay?”
Newt considered Clint’s words for a moment before nodding. “Alright.”
Soon enough, the Medjack’s left you and Newt alone in the treatment room. It was silent, and Newt still held your bandaged hands in his, not daring to say a word.
“Are you okay?” You asked eventually, feeling that you’d studied the boy’s face enough to gather that he was still deeply upset and in thought.
Newt’s eyes snapped from your hands to make eye contact with you, and you could see the emotion pooling in his dark irises. “I dunno. I know it’s stupid, you’ll be fine, but… you were hurt. On the one day I wasn’t there with you.”
Turning your hands over in his, you grabbed his palms and squeezed. “But I’ll be fine, Newt. Look, I’m still healthy, aren’t I? Breathing, talking. That’s what matters. And it’s not your fault, it was just a silly accident.”
“I know, I just… the thought of you getting hurt makes me want to go crazy.” Newt admitted. “You being safe is all I care about.”
Your heart stuttered in your chest as your face warmed. “I… I didn’t know it meant that much to you.”
“You do.” Newt stated. “You mean that much to me.”
“Newt…” you whispered. “I think those slintheads were right.”
His face scrunched up. “What d’you mean?”
“I think… I think I like you. A lot more than I realized.” You gathered more courage with every word you spoke. “Newt… I think I’m in love with you.”
You watched his eyes widen as you spoke, hands still interlocked. Newt seemed to be stunned by your impromptu confession, and even you were surprised by it. Up until ten seconds ago, you were unaware of how big your feelings for Newt were, but now that they were out in the open, it was easy to see as you looked back on things. Your thoughts ran at a hundred miles a second, flashing with the memories you made with Newt and how close you’d gotten over the past few years.
It took you a second to pull away from the memories and realize that Newt had yet to respond.
“Newt?” You called out, trying to get his attention. “I shouldn’t have said anything. Look, we don’t have to do anything about it, we can forget it ever happened—”
“No.” Newt interrupted. “I don’t want to do that.” He adjusted his grip on your hands, stroking your knuckles with his thumbs. “I… I love you, too. I think I have from the moment I met you.”
Your lips stretched into a wide, blissful smile, and Newt’s expression soon matched yours. Slowly, he leaned in closer to you, shortening the distance until his lips were inches from yours.
“Can I kiss you?” He whispered.
“I’d like nothing more,” you told him, and in seconds, his lips were on yours and your hand was touching the back of his neck and you were both in a state of bliss you could only dream of until now.
You spent the next few hours with Newt, who sat next to you on the bed with an arm around your shoulders, talking mostly about how you both failed to notice your feelings toward each other for so long, occasionally disrupted by mini-makeouts. When the dinner bell rang, Newt promised to explain your injury to your friends and bring dinner for you both to eat in the Medjack hut.
When Newt came back, two steaming bowls of chicken rice in hand, the blush on his face was unmistakable.
“What happened?” You laughed as he passed you the bowl and sat on the bed. “What did they say to you?”’
“They didn’t say anything.” Newt corrected you. “They heard about my hauling ass across the Glade to get here from the council hall, that’s what. And they basically figured us out.”
“Really?” You fake gasped. “It’s like they’ve been trying to tell us about this for the past two years or something.”
“Ha, ha,” Newt rolled his eyes. “Eat your rice. After you’re finished, I’ve got to take you to the Homestead.”
“My hero,” you smiled, and Newt couldn’t help but to kiss you once more before you both dug into your meals.
Once your ankle was healed, it was no surprise the uproar your friends caused when you were finally able to walk to breakfast hand in hand with Newt. After all, they had been waiting years for this.

Boom!Shadow Fluff HC’s With Fem!Hedgehog Reader
Hey there! Thanks for the ask!
I don’t know why but as soon as I saw this request was to have Shadow be in a hugging session with reader. Don’t know why but that was the first thought I had when I saw that you wanted fluff (by the way I kind of wrote this to at least be platonic but some views can be considered romantic in a way. You can view it as whatever). Plus that boy does deserve a hug, regardless of which Shadow it is. Also sorry if this is a bit shorter than my regular ones. Anyways, hope you like this. ~Blaze/Dawn
Pronouns: She/Her (Or At Least Fem Intended Since I Only Used She/Her Once)
Warning: ❌
Requested: Yes/No
Characters: Shadow + Mentions Of The Other Sonic Crew

- ‘God today has been overwhelming’ Shadow thought to himself, his face clearly showing annoyance. Honestly he wasn't sure how long he could deal with another presence. The only thing that was currently on his mind and the only reason he even bothered to put up with the others was seeing you. A while ago he found himself becoming fond of you in his own brooding way. Normally he wouldn’t consider himself getting close with anyone especially since he’s known for being a loner but as he manages to spot you more often due to you often hanging out with that stupid hedgehog sonic and his friends he couldn’t help but get drawn towards you. It’s like you had some sort of aura about you that made him drawn to you. So he decided to hang out with you much to your surprise at him wanting to be around you but you weren’t going to complain.
- You’re the only person he actually tolerates out of everyone he knows. To him Sonic is too annoying, Tails is alright in a way but still isn’t too fond of him, Knuckles isn’t that smart, Amy is also alright he just doesn’t hang out with her too much so he doesn’t have that much of a bond with her and he just finds Sticks batshit crazy. So with you it’s like he’s getting some fresh air after being stuck in a room for hours. He actually enjoys being around you, you won’t get him to outright admit it but in a way you can tell he does because he treats you way differently compared to the others which doesn’t go unnoticed by them.
- Some of them actually find it cute (Mostly Amy) and some of them like to tease Shadow about (Most probably either Sonic or Knuckles) but you don’t mind it. You actually find it cute in a way as well. Managing to break his standoffish persona. Undeniably he kind of has a soft spot for. Often he finds himself getting defensive when someone like Sonic teases him for his said soft spot. Like Sonic could be saying stuff like “You really like her don’t you Shadow” which causes Shadow to tell him to shut up.
- Everytime he has a shit day or just wants to decompress he finds himself thinking of you. He could just be in a grumpy mood then he just sighs to himself and thinks to himself ‘I’m going to see [Name]’. It’s like his brain just automatically thinks of going to you as soon as he experiences a single bad emotion. He knows that you won’t judge which admittedly makes him happy inside. Honestly after having others getting on his nerves he rather have someone who knows how to calm him down. Honestly, this dude has so much built in anger it’s unbelievable.
- Eventually, after enough walking he managed to arrive at your place and immediately felt some sort of weight being lifted off of his shoulders. He knocked on the door crossing his arms waiting for you to open the door. He then saw the door crack open and saw the familiar hedgehog he actually likes. “Oh hey Shadow!” You said, happy to see your buddy again “what are you doing here?” You asked before he answered “apologies for interrupting you but is it alright if I stay here for a bit?” He asked to which you happily let him in.
- As soon as you sat down you found him following you before plopping himself head down into your lap “had another one of those days huh?” You asked slightly chuckling before placing a hand on his head “you have no idea. I swear that damn hedgehog is out to purposely ruin my day.” He grumbled as he felt himself softening while having your hands running through his quills “oh come on he’s not that bad you know?” You could hear Shadow slightly snorting to himself before replying “you hang out with him, your used to his idiocy” you chuckled at his answer before continuing to play with his quills, occasionally seeing him nuzzle his head in your lap even letting out some noises indicating that he was enjoying the attention he was getting from you “your weird you know that Shadow?” You joked with him “no I’m not” he retorted back even starting to hug you loosely around your waist “yeah whatever you say” you smiled to yourself hearing Shadow scoffing to himself as the two of you enjoy each other's company. “thanks for being there for me [Name]” he quietly said but you could hear him very well “no problem Shadow”.

Soooo, I'm not the usual requester of the poly!moonwater x reader, but I fell I love with them and the way you write them!
With that being said, could I request Mia and Monty taking in Regulus and reader, saving them from their cruel families, and the holidays being absolutely hectic with everyone there.
Maybe some Mia and reader bonding?
If not that's fine! All my love,
🦕
*gasps* thank you lovely! I'm so glad you've loved moonwater enough to submit a request!!! sorry this took so long, I had this half finished and couldn't figure out for the life of me how to wrap it up happily, and then I was like "of course! Effie!" - not so much chaos but a lot of hurt/comfort and fluff
~please note: my requests are currently closed as I work through my older ones~
poly!moonwater x fem!reader
CW: toxic/abusive family dynamics, mentions and insinuations of abuse, your parents suck in this - I'm sorry, but just call me Euphemia Potter because you're all my children now
Remus had to admit that he was getting increasingly worried about you and Regulus the closer it got to the summer holidays. It seemed that no matter how much brighter the weather became outside, clouds were determined to follow the two of you around.
Remus only knew why Regulus would perhaps grow tense at the thought of returning to 12 Grimmauld Place on account of Remus’ years’ long friendship with Sirius. But the youngest Black, since reconciling with his older brother, has staunchly refused to discuss family life. Remus could accept that; he understood the gist.
But you, he was at a loss with. Though, he would admit that your occasional flinch at a raised hand or sudden quick movements by either Regulus or Remus spoke volumes on that end.
So here you all were (being Remus, you, Regulus, Sirius, James, Peter, and Lily) sitting by the Black Lake and enjoying the sun on one of the last few days of the school year, and you and Regulus were nearly comatose in your melancholy.
Lily and Peter were doing their best to pretend they didn’t notice any tension in the group as they busied themselves with a game of wizarding chess, but James and Sirius had no such qualms and were staring hard between Remus and Regulus.
“I told you that you could come with me, Reggie.” Sirius said surprisingly softly for the oldest Black. Regulus’ jaw twitched as he stole a fleeting glance at James.
“You told me that a year ago. I wasn’t smart enough to go then, I don’t see why I’d deserve that option now.” He muttered, sounding disturbingly more and more like the aristocratic Pureblood he was raised to be.
“It’s not about deserving, Reg.” Sirius said at the same time Remus said, “of course you do.”
“Honestly,” James interjected, “at this point, my mum would be pissed if you didn’t come live with us.”
Regulus’ face appeared to remain impassive, but Remus knew better; there were signs. His jaw tightened, there was a small movement in his left eyebrow and a subtle glossiness in his eyes.
Suddenly his gaze flit to Remus, his eyes almost begging him to understand something he hadn’t yet voiced. Remus held Regulus’ gaze until his eyes turned to something else; to you.
But it didn’t appear that you had heard any of the conversation going on around you; your eyes pointed to some unmarked point in the horizon, your mind far away.
“I can’t leave her.” Regulus whispered once he knew you wouldn’t hear.
“What’s the point of both of you suffering, Regulus? You can’t help her from Grimmauld Place.” Sirius argued.
Regulus finally groaned, and Remus’ heart clenched knowing how close he was to frustrated tears. Remus felt just as close, feeling completely helpless in this situation. But his parents struggled enough supporting him alone. He knew that if he asked, his mum would have the two of you in a heartbeat, but the Potter’s had the space and funds to do it far more easily.
“Y/N can come too.” James said plainly.
“Hm?” You hummed quietly, turning your attention back to the group at the sound of your name.
Regulus grimaced slightly but James, either ignorant to body language or choosing to ignore it carried on. “I was just thinking, we’re inviting Regulus to move in with us for the summer. Perhaps you could join us?”
You stared hard at James without breaking eye contact and Remus grew more and more tense the longer you stayed silent.
“It’s good that Regulus is staying with you.” You commented, sounding nearly robotic.
“You could-” Remus began, but you cut him off.
“Don’t, Remus.”
“Amour.” Regulus pleaded quietly.
“Leave it.” You ordered before standing and walking away.
Regulus sighed and buried his face in his hands. Remus couldn’t stand it anymore and moved to sit beside him, rubbing soothing swipes up and down his spine.
“Your brother is right, love. You’ll be more help to her if you’re safe at Potter Manor. You need to be brave for the both of you right now.”
“She’s never told me either, you know?” Regulus spoke from inside his hands. “I have no idea what happens when she leaves here.”
Remus fought back the tears that threatened to infiltrate his eyes. “You’ll be more help to her from Potter Manor.” He repeated.
Tumblr media
You’d been avoiding the boys, that much was certain. And even if you weren’t avoiding them, it was like you weren’t even there when you were sitting right next to them. Remus hated to think that this was the note you were all leaving on, knowing you’d not see each other again until September first.
Regulus had agreed to stay with the Potters, though he refused to discuss with anyone what was said to his parents (or, perhaps more importantly, what his parents had said in return).
So, they stood there in Central Hall with their bags and school trunks; James and Sirius arguing over what they were going to do first when they got to the Manor (in an attempt to hopefully lighten the mood for Reggie's sake) while Remus stared at Regulus’ face without pretending that he wasn’t, as his boyfriend stood painfully rigid.
You appeared then, the strap of your duffle bag thrown over your shoulder and your school trunk trailing behind you. Remus didn’t think he’d ever seen you look so forlorn.
It was like a switch was flipped in Regulus, and he went from a soldier standing at attention to cooing over your shorter frame.
“Let me get this, amour. Did you get everything packed okay?” He asked you softly, pulling your duffle bag gently from your shoulder to throw over his own. You barely nodded in acknowledgment, eyes staring at the ground unseeingly. Remus felt sick to his stomach.
“Okay.” Regulus murmured at you quietly, giving Remus a quick shake of his head as he went to move to you. Remus had this overwhelming urge to pick you up and huddle you under his arm, not letting go until you were all the way to Wales – where your family couldn’t get to you.
But Regulus perhaps understood your mindset better than he did.
“Can Rem take your trunk for you?” Regulus asked, mostly as a means to invite Remus into the conversation and less trying to get him to be your pack mule.
“No.” You said as firmly as you could manage in this fragile state. “I’ve got it. Thank you, though.” You said, finally looking up to make eye contact with Remus and Regulus.
Regulus, for his part, managed to smile sadly at you. Remus was sure his discontent was written all over his face.
“Ready to get this show on the road? Look at me, sounding all muggle.” Sirius called. One would think he sounded indifferent to what was going on, but Remus (and Regulus) could see this for what it truly was: distraction.
“No.” You whispered.
“What is it, lovie?” Remus asked, turning his attention quickly back to you.
“I’m not, I-” you took a few quick breaths, face scrunching up painfully as your eyes filled with tears. “I’m not ready, I can’t. I can’t go. I’m not...”
“Okay.” Regulus said softly.
“I can’t go back, I can’t - I’m not ready.”
“That’s alright.” Sirius offered just as softly.
You were disturbingly close to hyperventilating surveying your surroundings like you were looking for a place to run, looking for a way out. “I can’t do it anymore, I can’t.” You cried.
“Then don’t, love.” Remus pleaded. And you broke down into sobs.
Something inside Remus snapped and he made for you, enveloping you in a hug that was probably far too tight, but you nuzzled impossibly further into his chest anyway as if he could perhaps hold your pieces together as you fell apart.
He’d find a way to do it for you if that’s what you truly needed.
As your gasping sobs ceased and your breathing evened into only the occasional hiccup, James let out a theatrical “Phew.”
“What?” Regulus asked, voice somewhat taut from both protectiveness and frayed nerves.
“I sort of told my mum she was coming to live with us, anyway.”
Remus could have kissed the sod right on the mouth at that moment. He opted to kiss the top of your head instead.
“I don’t want-”
“-to be in the way. You won’t be, amour.” Regulus interrupted your train of thought, voice far softer than the one he’d used with James.
“Yeah, Regulus is far more inconveniencing than you are, dollface.” Sirius snarked with a wink, earning him a quick stinging jinx from Regulus.
If Remus had thought that the hard part was over in Central Hall, he was very wrong.
You had settled not too badly as you all rode the wagons to the train station holding onto Remus’ hand like a vice, and Regulus appeared to be far more comfortable now that he was less worried about you. Regulus undeniably had some abandonment issues, and the thought of going to the Potter’s without you left him with the sense that he would somehow be letting you down. Remus supposed that at least before, the two of you could commiserate together knowing that whatever you were going through, so was the other.
But as the group travelled on, some of your own tension returned the closer you got to Kings Cross Station.
“You don’t have to say anything to them, you can just leave with us.” Sirius said plainly as Remus reached to grab your bags from the overhead compartment.
“That’d be considered kidnapping.” You responded quietly.
You hooked your duffle over your shoulder and stood, looking through the compartment as if you could somehow see your family through the sheets of metal separating you and Platform 9 ¾.
“Would...would you like us to come with you? Stand by your side? How would you like to do this, love?” Remus asked, leaning back slightly so he could see your face directly.
You seemed to ponder that for a few moments before returning his gaze. “Maybe...maybe you guys could just, stay a little behind me? Not close enough to say anything or for them to say anything to you, just...”
“Close.” Regulus finished for you. You nodded in response.
“Consider it done, dove.” Remus said and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
James and Sirius spotted the Potter’s quickly after exiting the train and brought your bags and trunks to them so that the Potter’s elves could bring them to the Manor. You watched as your trunk disappeared with a pop; there was no going back now.
“Y/N.” An indifferent tone called, causing you to stand up straighter, though you didn’t seem ready to turn your gaze towards it yet.
“We’re right here, amour. We’re not leaving without you.” Regulus insisted. Remus wanted to touch you, grab your hand, kiss your cheek, but he knew he’d have to wait until you felt safe.
Safe.
Soon you’d be safe.
True to their words, Regulus and Remus followed you towards your parents who stood poised like models in a Victorian Era portrait, staring down at you over their noses, though the two boys paused a good distance away as you had asked them too.
“I hate this.” Regulus murmured as you said hello to your parents. Your mother turned to leave before you asked them to wait.
“We’ll be able to take her home after this.” Remus placated, but it did nothing to soothe his own nerves either.
“You’re doing what?” He heard your mother ask derisively.
You repeated yourself, albeit quieter and more meekly than you had before. Remus wanted to hex her for making you feel so small.
“Absolutely not. Get your things.” Your father barked.
You raised your hand carefully, pointing towards the Potter’s to explain that they’ve already brought your things to their house.
“You insolent little witch. How dare you undermine me like this.” Your father spat and took a menacing step towards you. You stepped back quickly with a full body flinch, and that was it for Remus.
“We’re done. Let’s go.” Remus said authoritatively. “Come on, dove.”
You needn’t be told twice, allowing Reg to steer you towards the Potter’s as Remus cast a quick muffliato around you to spare you from any trailing remarks your parents made.
Remus and Regulus exchanged a worried glance over your head as you kept your eyes glued to the floor, letting yourself be guided blindly through the platform.
“Ready to go, dearies?” Euphemia Potter asked kindly, softly, as she beamed at the five students in front of her with Fleamont at her side. Even Remus felt like he had whiplash at the difference of atmosphere on this end of the platform; he couldn’t imagine how you or Reg were managing.
“Hello, cariad!” Remus heard his mother call before any of you could answer Effie’s question. He turned his gaze to see his parents, Hope and Lyall Lupin, move through the crowds towards them.
“Gangs all here now!” Lyall called, and you tightened your hand currently enclosed safely in Remus’. He gave your three quick squeezes in return: a silent promise of safety.
“This must be Regulus and Y/N!” His mum cheered, looking awfully close to embracing both of you. However, Regulus’ aristocratic upbringing appeared to save the day as he quickly stepped in front of you and stuck his hand out, bowing politely to her.
“Mrs. Lupin, it’s very nice to finally meet you.” He said, posh accent on full display.
Remus gave a pleading look to his family, knowing his mother was the kind to say “oh, I’m really more of a hugger.”
But apparently, one thing motherly love was very good at was reading the room, and his mum accepted the handshake before his dad, Effie and Monty all got one of their own. You nodded politely and exchanged a quiet ‘hello’ but opted to stay glued to Remus’ side.
He couldn’t say he minded that option entirely.
Tumblr media
Euphemia Potter was no stranger to troubled children showing up at her doorstep, but she couldn’t help but admit how different this time was.
Last year, Sirius showed up battered, beaten, bloodied, and bruised, not to mention completely scared out of his mind. And underneath all of that was this horrible fear for his younger brother’s safety, as well as an overwhelming sense of guilt for leaving him behind.
Sirius never really recovered from feeling like a burden, not last summer at least. He remained entirely too polite for Effies tastes, full of “thank you, Mrs. Potter”’s or “that really isn’t necessary”’s right up until the day she sent them off to Hogwarts.
“Now boys.” She said, giving the two troublemakers as stern a face as one Euphemia Potter could muster. “Though I would certainly prefer no trouble at all, can we at least promise not to get quite as many detentions this year? And for the love of Merlin – no more broken bones! I like that when people ask me how my sons are, I can at least say ‘well, at least they’ve got their health!’”
Effie was certain that the pressure behind Sirius’ eyes from fighting the tears must have been excruciating, but he held out for as long as he could before he launched himself into her chest.
“Thank you, Effie.” He finally whispered through tears.
“Please, Sirius.” She whispered as she stroked the boy’s hair. “Call me mum.”
If last year was full of guilt, grief, and fear, this summer seemed to be full of caution, hope, and love.
Where James spent last summer trying to keep Sirius in as high spirits as possible, this year he got to simply play the role of host. Where Sirius spent last summer trying to stay out of the way and convince himself and everyone around him that he was completely fine, this year he got to show his brother what real family looked like.
And though he saw a lot of Sirius in Regulus, there was so much that was so distinctly him.
Regulus’ trauma came out in impeccable table manners, speaking in a manner far more suited to a member of parliament than a teenaged boy at a casual meal, and assessing the atmosphere in the room with the efficacy of a social weather man.
But his personality was completely contradictory.
He made jokes and comments that he didn’t seem to realize were funny until people around him laughed, which caused him to blush but let out surprised laughter of his own. Where Sirius’ jokes were performative and always for the sake of amusing the people around him, Regulus’ humour came naturally and unbiddenly. Where Sirius showed his love and excitement as loudly as possible in order to make sure everyone around him got to share in it, Regulus dutifully handed out his love and excitement in carefully curated doses.
She loved them both beyond measure.
And you...well, Effie could certainly see how you managed to win over not one but two of her favourite young men. Your trauma seemed to come out in the form of fading into the background. Everything you did, you did quietly. You never asked for anything, whether it be for seconds at dinner, something to drink during the day, or to go into town to shop for supplies.
But even though you were clearly struggling, Effie could see how much you cared for those boys both actively and passively. Your body language seemed to change the second either of them entered a room, their presence’s easing any discomfort you may have been feeling nearly immediately; you smiled brighter, made more eye contact, and even contributed to conversations when one of them was around. Right now they were your confidence, your safe space. Effie hoped to get the chance to see it for herself one day, but she felt unbelievably lucky to get to see it in this way too.
You always showed up with bottles of water when the boys were outside playing quidditch, somehow knowing Regulus was the kind to completely miss any cues his body gave him of thirst and predicting his needs. And you always brought sunblock out unprompted when Remus would fall asleep with a book over his face, ensuring he wouldn’t burn in the sun.
She loved you so much.
It had been about two weeks since summer holidays started, and Hope and Lyall Lupin were going to be leaving their mini holiday at Potter Manor in a few days when Effie felt that you had made enough progress to broach the subject.
“Y/N, dearie. Do you have a moment?” She asked as you and the boys walked in the back door after spending some time down at the lake.
Effie noticed a flicker of concern cross your features, though you readily agreed nonetheless. Remus smiled while Regulus promptly stood at attention.
“Hope’s going to be leaving in a few days, and I was thinking perhaps we could get a shopping trip in before she does.”
At this Hope looked over with a beaming smile. “Oh! I’d so love to go shopping! The shops are not nearly as posh in Cardiff.”
You looked between the two women uncertainly but began nodding your head. “Erm, yes, sure. What...what are we shopping for?”
“Well, I thought we could go shopping for some clothes.”
You looked absolutely horrified at this. “I have clothes! I brought everything I had from school.”
Effie smiled encouragingly at you. “Yes, and what you had packed for school was appropriate for a Scottish autumn and winter, not for a summer in London.”
Sirius, never one to leave very well alone, piped up at this. “I want to go shopping! Can I come?”
Hope chuckled and ruffled the boy’s long hair. “I think it’d be better just us ladies, hm?”
Sirius pouted at that, but Regulus took pity on his brother. “You can come with me and Fleamont, Sirius.”
Sirius stood abruptly and planted a smacking kiss to the younger boy’s cheek. “You’re officially my favourite sibling.” He declared, earning him an indignant ‘oi!’ from James.
“Get off of me, you sod.” Regulus grumbled, leaning further into Remus’ side.
You looked at your two boys then; Remus was smiling at you with a look so full of love and pride it nearly rivaled Effie’s, and Regulus was smiling encouragingly and so sweetly, Effie was certain her blood sugar levels spiked just at the sight.
“That...that would be very nice. Thank you, ladies.” You agreed quietly. You nodded your head in decision, mostly to encourage yourself but Effie was thankful for the effort.
It was hard to imagine a time nearly eighteen years ago that Effie and Monty were heartbroken and struggling to finally have a child of their own. If only they’d know that seventeen years later, their lovely, lovely boy would bring home four more for them to love.
She was simultaneously sad for you, Regulus, and Sirius that you had to grow up in homes that didn’t love you the way you ought to have been, but she was so beyond grateful she got the honour to love you properly, now and for the rest of her life.
As long as Euphemia Potter lived, none of you would ever spend a moment being anything but loved.

Thomas Hewitt relationship HC's
Content: Thomas Hewtt x gn!Reader
Warnings: Canon typical violence, manipulation from Hoyt, possessive and jealous behavior, brief mention of sex but no actual NSFW, so 17+
Notes: My first slasher fic! Pls be nice, it's my first time writing for our boy Tommy
Tumblr media
Lets skip over meeting him for now. If anyone wants to know how I think Thomas would meet and fall in love with his S/O, just shoot me a request!
Thomas would be very cautious at first. Not because he doesn't trust you, nono, he'd HAVE to trust you before getting in a relationship first
He's cautious because he doesn't know how to control his strength around you, and doesn't want to cross a line. You're his first and likely his only partner in life, so he doesn't want to lose you
Thats another thing - he's super scared that you'll end up seeing how much better you can do and leave him. If not for how ugly he thinks he looks, then for the fact that his family are cannibals.
This leads him to be very jealous and possessive. If another man comes near you, he's behind you in an instant if he can be, glaring them down and practically tearing them apart with his eyes
If he finds you flirting with another man, he'll be angry with you beyond belief. Would probably give you the silent treatment for a week, and he's already mute, so that's saying something (I tease)
Probably wouldn't be super touchy, he's been hit his whole life, and I believe the Hewitt's would use physical disciplinary methods growing up, which means Tommy would've most likely been hit by his family too. Nowhere is safe for this poor man
He wouldn't mind if you were touchy though, it would just take him a while to get used to it
He doesn't mind if you don't get along with Monty or Charlie, that's kind of a given, especially if you're a woman or fem presenting, but he wants you to get along with his mother so BADLY
He definitely would not say "I love you" first, he would wait for you to say it, even though he'd most likely fall in love with you first
He'd do anything for you. He'd kill for you, beat someone for you, talk shit about someone for you, etc. He'd basically drop anything for you. Aside from his family, you are his first priority.
This can lead to fights between you and Hoyt. Hoyt doesn't think Tommy should be loyal to "a good for nothing slut like you" above certain members of his family, since you're technically still an outsider
Tommy will butt into these arguments and have your back, but the first time this happened, Hoyt had managed to get into his head and make him doubt you. Yeah, safe to say that never happened again
Tommy wouldn't feel comfortable sharing a room until you were farther into your relationship, and it would take even longer for him to take off his mask around you
When he does finally take his mask off around you, he expects you to yell and scream, to call him ugly. But when you don't, and you even call him handsome? Oh he is melting into the floor
That's when he starts to develop an unhealthy obsession with you. He was in love with you before, but now that he's shown his rawest form to you and you still loved him above all else? Oh he's in LOVE love
He refuses to leave you alone, and this is probably around the time you guys first have sex. He wanted to wait until you were married like his Mama asked, but he just couldn't help himself.
This is getting kinda long, so if you guys want a part two or something, be sure to request!

Here's my masterlist, in case you like what you see and want to request more!

Our Last day, or maybe the first - Pt 2 Thomas Hewitt x fem Reader
Tumblr media
NOTE: Since part two was very acclaimed, I want to clarify that I have gained confidence and will bring more than a second part, I also want to say that this is an adaptation of the movie but with changes made by me so that the character fits better with the environment, I hope you enjoy my work, love for all here ♥
Summary: Is Thomas last day on the slaughterhouse and a pretty girl is going to help him today...or forever
Warning: Murders, Workplace Harassmen, hard vocabulary, Stockholm syndrome
Part 1 here!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Tears were rolling down your cheeks as you looked out the dirty window of the police car, you knew there was no escape, there would be no way for you to run away from the Hewitt's without getting killed and you had to find a way to make everything as good as possible for you and for them
-You're very quiet, honey - the old man looked at you in the rearview mirror with a sarcastic smile - Nothing bad is going to happen to you, Tommy wouldn't let someone hurt you, right?
Your eyes barely looked at him and quickly returned to the window trying to control your sobs, you felt more than insecure in that car with that disgusting man, for some strange reason you knew that Thomas was also someone dangerous, his hands could break your bones with a single squeeze if he wanted, but his mere presence made you feel safe, as if you had this giant beast in the palm of your hand who would be willing to do anything you asked, everything except let you go.
-We have arrived, come down before Thomas arrives, we don't want him to find you here and get angry, do we? - The man smiled opening your door in a sarcastic way of being a gentleman.
You had no other option, so you went down carefully, the visibly overgrown grass scraped your legs as you walked behind him towards the huge house, many questions were running through your head while your eyes looked everywhere looking for a quick way to escape but everything seemed useless, Thomas should be nearby and could reach you at any second and end your life.
The house was dirty, there was dust everywhere and stains on the wooden floor that seemed to have never been polished the footsteps sounded as you entered a room where a man even older than the one who had brought you to that house was looking the television
-Go get ready Uncle Monty, we have a beautiful guest today and we will have a great feast for dinner - the disgusting man smiled looking at you touching your chin to which you only reacted by turning your face in disgust.
-Who is she? ..- the old man with glasses sat up looking at your body from head to toe while he scratched his crotch.
-She is Tommy's girlfriend, pretty don't you think? The boy is very lucky - they both laughed looking at you and then felt something cold on your arm which made you turn your head noticing how the now ''sheriff'' was pointing a gun at you - walk pretty girl, we don't want Thomas to arrive and found a hole in your beautiful body, right?
Your eyes widened as you walked in front of the man, guiding you to where he told you, climbing the long stairs towards a corridor that was barely illuminated by the poor rays of sun that came through the windows.
-Here, this will be your room come in now - the barrel of the gun pushed you in the center of your back, making you enter a room arranged in a feminine way but even dirtier than the rest of the house, it was obvious that no one had entered to that place in a long time, there was dust even on the bed and spiderwebs on the night lamps - make yourself comfortable, Tommy will arrive soon
The man closed the door leaving you standing in the middle of the large room and after a few seconds making sure he didn't come back quickly you ran to the window to open it and look into what seemed like an abyss, if you jumped out of it you wouldn't get out without a broken bone if you weren't lucky enough to be killed by hitting the floor.
You were trapped by that family of murderers, there was nothing to do just wait for them to end your life.
Your feet slid against the floor, sitting against the window while you hugged your legs crying, your tears wet your skirt, you could only hear your own sobs and heavy breathing losing track of time until you heard the door open, your wet eyes trying to focus was he the disgusting old man? or maybe Thomas?, you could notice a small, plump figure taking slow and careful steps approaching
-Don't worry, I won't hurt you - a kind, feminine voice sounded as the woman's hand extended so you could take it and help you get up from your place on the floor - tell me your name little one.
-y/n…my name is Y/n…please don't hurt me - your voice was broken between your cries of desperation and fear.
-I'm not, come to bed with me - the woman walked slowly guiding you to the bed while she made a gesture of disgust when she saw all the accumulated dust and sat you down next to her - I'm mama, Thomas is my little boy ya'know, he's my Baby you must be the girl from the slaughterhouse right?
-Yes, I worked with him in that place-your free hand carefully cleaned your cheek while your other hand held it Luda caressing it slowly with her thumb
-I see, you are a pretty girl and you look like those educated people who are not stupid like we are - her eyes looked at you with little kindness - I know what you are doing, you are kind to Thomas so you don't end up like his boss right?
-No…I…I don't - your head shook quickly, looking at her - I would never treat Thomas like everyone else treated him, I was just kind and…and I ended up here, I don't know what I did wrong, I didn't want to hurt him, i don't want to hurt no one - your crying again made Luda soften her gaze realizing what they had put into you.
-Don't worry, you see Thomas won't let you go soon, it's the first time I've seen him be different from how he's always been and I don't want you to break his heart, try to get to know him, my boy is a sweet man, give him a chance and we'll give you a chance
Her hand delicately patted yours, standing up looking at you from the doorway giving a deep sigh.
-You better remember what I told you, dinner will be ready in a while, get ready to look good.
What was happening with that woman's words, they seemed to go round and round in your head, should you give them a chance?
You walk to the bathroom and was disgusting, clearly the same as the room, so with just a little water you cleaned your hands and face, just the thought that you would be downstairs surrounded by strange people made you feel nauseous but something even deeper made you miss Thomas, he hadn't shown up all day or maybe not in the room and you were curious to know where he was.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the figure that was looking at you from the bathroom door which you could see in the reflection of the mirror and made you jump in fear.
-I see that you are getting pretty for dinner, mama wants you to come down and join us, we put another plate for you - the old man dressed in a police uniform smiled at you, rudely looking at your body to which you could only respond with your gaze towards him the floor settling slightly.
You followed him through the dark corridor barely lit by a couple of lamps and then up the stairs that made every step you took sound with a creak in the wood.
-Look who has arrived, our beautiful guest will be with us tonight - the old man moved a chair away from the table, inviting you to sit down, you just approached with fear, sitting down without saying anything, looking at everyone around you, there was the old man with glasses. and the woman who looked at you through the strands of her blonde hair.
The plate was in front of you, empty and cleaner than you expected, the song that played on the old radio in the distance made you dissociate from the speech that the man was giving until you heard his gratitude to the ''sheriff for accompanying them that night on the table'' your eyes traveled quickly to the casserole, just as everyone was in disbelief at what they were going to have for dinner that night.
-Don't worry doll, just like in the slaughterhouse, meat is meat - the man smiled sarcastically, serving you what looked like a stew on your plate.
-I'm not hungry…thank you - you looked at him with fear, regretting your words when everyone looked at you with some annoyance.
-Food is sacred and we must be grateful for what the Lord gives us, now eat - Luda looked at you, scolding you apparently she had taken what they had told her very seriously, now you were her ''little girl''
It was after a few minutes when you heard a door open but no one came in, it just stayed open until the policeman looked and smiled a little excitedly, moving his hand inviting whoever was in the shadows to come through.
-Come here boy, we don't want you to miss this first dinner with your girl, right? - The old man served another plate, placing it next to yours.
Thomas doubted it a little but after sighing (which almost sounded like a growl) taking courage, he entered with his head down, sitting down sadly and despite being next to you, he took his distance.
Your eyes stared at him, as if his face had a magnet for you, he looked different, he was no longer wearing the bloody apron, his clothes were clean as were his face and his hands, even his nails looked clean and with a pink color that you had never noticed
-Don't they look cute together mama?
-Shut your mouth Charlie, stop bothering them and eat once and for all - The woman looked at him, annoyed, eating from her plate.
-Hoyt mom, Charlie is dead now my name is Hoyt
The tension could be felt in the air, despite the conversation that the other three were having, you felt their gaze on you as if waiting for you to make a mistake in something so they could kill you but there was no way that was going to happen, your mind was somewhere else while Your hand slowly turned the spoon inside the plate, playing with the food, losing your appetite more and more, sometimes you felt your eyes get wet but you took a deep breath and convinced yourself that everything would be fine, at least for a couple of days in what you found how to escape from that place.
Your trance was broken when Luda took your plate pushing it away, scolding you again for not eating anything.
-I'm…I'm sorry, I don't feel at all well - you looked at her embarrassed and afraid with your hands in your lap - can I go and rest?
-It's been a long day, hasn't it? Come on, go rest honey - the woman patted your shoulder lightly and then took another plate and walked to the kitchen.
As soon as you heard those words you stood up as quickly as you could, almost running to the stairs, the only thing you wanted was to get out of that place and be alone, but when you got to the room and made sure that the door was closed properly you realized the problem which you had gotten yourself into.
Being careful not to make noise, you began to clean the place, at least dusting the nightstands, removing the spiderwebs and also arranging the sheets, leaving only those that looked cleanest, you opened the window wide so that the breeze from the night could enter and when you were ready you sat on the bed.
You carefully removed your heels that, despite being low, made your ankles hurt, then you removed the bun from your hair, feeling a relief in your skull and finally you opened the buttons of your blouse, opening it completely to take it off but something stopped you making you close it quickly with fear when hearing the door suddenly open.
-Thom..Thomas hi - you looked at him embarrassed, closing the blouse in a hurry, your hands securing the fabric, looking at him nervously.
He just approached slowly, with his gaze everywhere but on you.
-What are you doing here? -Despite the little light in the room you could see his eyes through the long strands of his hair.
But the huge man only stretched out his arm towards you, offering you something that he was hiding in his giant hand and making you copy his gesture but in your case offering your palm to receive what he was going to offer you.
-What's that? -You looked at him curiously, his fingers barely touching the palm of your hand as they opened, letting an apple fall out- oh…is it for me?
Thomas just nodded, looking at the other side of the room. Over the years he had learned to be careful and alert to every situation that happened around him and with you, his sensors worked harder than normal, noticing every millimetric gesture you made. He knew that you had not eaten anything and the humanity that still remained inside him made him know that that was not fair for you, after all you were there because he wanted it that way, not because you chose it.
-Thank you, I'll eat it before going to sleep - you smiled shyly, taking the apple with both hands, looking at it carefully, trying to look for any defects but it was perfect - are you going to sleep too?
He just shook his head, playing with his hands as they grabbed the fabric of his pants and after so many months you could notice his arms, which now that they were clean showed scars and wounds that still looked open.
-Thomas, what happened to you? are you hurt? - Your natural state of worry made you leave the apple on the bed, approaching him, but he just rejected your touch, moving away, making you also walk away from him in fear - I'm sorry, I didn't want to make you uncomfortable, it's just… you are injured
He shook his head, looking at his arms, quickly lowering the sleeves of his shirt covering himself and before you could say anything else he quickly left slamming the door so hard that it made the nightstands shake.
Had you done something wrong? His rejection made you feel something inside your chest, a pinch that made you sigh as you sat down and took the apple again, looking at it carefully with the night light.
What was it you felt? After all, you weren't there for pleasure, but strangely he made you feel it.
Part 3 Soon...

Summertime!
Synopsis: you get to spend the summer with evan and barty
Wordcount: 1.4 k
Tags: fluff, poly!rosekiller x fem reader, potter!reader
Authors note: this could be read as a part two to pandoras friend, or it could be read by itself
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This could potentially be a very bad idea. Maybe inviting some of your brother's rivals over to your house for the summer wasn't the smartest idea on the planet. But you asked your parents and they agreed, knowing they probably had a bad home life. So you went up to Pandora, Evan and Barty the next day to ask them. You’d ask Dorcas, but she’s already talking about how Marlene told her to move in with her family, whose house is right across the street from yours.
Sitting down at the table, you say, “you know how summer’s coming up?” Evan raises an eyebrow at your(seemingly stupid) question, but responds, “yes babe, I think we are all well aware of that fact.”
Your face reddens, but you try to continue like nothing happened, so you say, “well, I talked to my parents, and we wanted to officially invite you to the potter manner for summer break. If you want to come, that is.”
Barty’s staring at you with his mouth open and Evan and Pandora have matching looks of confusion on their faces, so you take it as a sign to keep talking.
“It’s just, you shouldn't have to stay with your wretched parents, and we have plenty of room at our house. Plus, Regulus is living with us! Not to mention the fact that Cassie’s staying right across the street all summer, so you would still get to see everyone. Of course, if you’d rather stay with your families, I respect that, I just want to put the offer out.” You're aware that you're rambling, but none of their faces have changed, so you keep talking until Barty literally puts his hand over your mouth to shut you up.
“Now that you're quiet, I would love to spend the summer with you, and I’m sure Dora and Evan would too,” you both look over at the twins, then. You with Barty's hand still on your mouth and Barty with an almost expectant look on his face.
“You can count us in,” Pandora smiles.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although you had told James that they were staying for the summer, he didn't necessarily believe it.  At least, not until they were standing with you, James, Sirius and Regulus while you tried to find your parents in the large crowd.
“Why do they have to join us for the summer again? I thought this was supposed to be a time for relaxing,” James whined to you.
“For the same reason Sirius and Regulus stay with us. I care about them and don't want them to have to go back to their parents,” you explained to him for what felt like the hundredth time.
“You realize they are standing right there right?” Regulus asks, pointing back to Barty, Evan and Pandora. You smile back at them (specifically Barty and Evan, but they don't need to know that), and apologize for your behavior when Sirius spots your mum and dad.
“Effie! Monty!” He shouts, running up to them and hugging them. Your parents laugh, but hug him back nonetheless.
“Hi hun, how was school?” Your mum asks, pulling back. Sirius rolls his eyes with a smile and responds by saying, “they better be glad that it's summer now.”
You’ve now all caught up to Sirius, and are standing around, waiting for your turn to get a hug.
Yawning, you lean back a little, resting more weight onto your ankles, and you hit someone's chest. Barty smiles down at you, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and twirling your hair. You laugh softly, and lean into him some more.
“And you three must be y/n’s friend,” your dad, Fleamont, says, turning his attention from James, Sirius and Regulus to you, Pandora, Evan and Barty.
“Yes sir, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” Evan says, holding his hand out to shake.
Fleamont laughs and shakes his head, “there’s no need for you to call me sir, just call me Monty. And which one are you?”
“Uh- I’m Evan Rosier, this is my twin Pandora Rosier,” Evan says somewhat awkwardly, pointing to him and Pandora. She smiles, waving.
“I’m Barty,” Barty says from behind you. Monty raises an eyebrow at how he's holding you, but doesn’t say anything.
“Well, now that we all know each other, I think it’s time to go home,” you announce, clapping your hands once.
“Yes, let's get out of this crowd,” euphemia, your mum, nods. Her and your dad lead the way out and into an alleyway, where they apparate everyone into the potter manor.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next day, you, Evan and Barty are all hanging out in your room. Regulus and Pandora are over spending time with Dorcas, and Sirius and James are off in town doing stuff they shouldn’t. You're reading while Evan and Barty play a game of exploding snaps.
“There’s no fuckin way you won that blondie! Treasure, tell him I won!” Barty exclaims, throwing his arms up and turning towards you.
“Sorry B, I wasn’t watching, though I'm pretty sure you can't cheat in exploding snaps,” you shrug with a small smile.
“Told you so,” Evan snarks, standing up. He walks over to the bed you were reading on and sits down, tapping at the small of your back to get you to scoot up.
“Whatcha doing there Ev?” You ask as he sits behind you, pulling you against him.
“Waiting on you to keep reading,” he responds, resting his head on your shoulder. You roll your eyes, but do as he says and continue reading.
“He meant for you to read out loud, treas,” Barty teases. You startle, because when did he put his head in your lap? And then you're reading the book to them, with Evan basically hugging you to him and Barty tapping a steady beat on your thigh.
You're just getting to the good part of the book when someone knocks on the door before pushing it open.
“What do you want–oh, sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt this moment!” Effie exclaims, causing your face to redden, because there wasn’t anything going on between the three of you. Even if you wanted something to happen.
“Hi mum, you weren’t interrupting anything, what did you need?” You smiled at her, closing your book.
“I just wanted to know if you wanted anything specific for dinner tonight,” she says almost warily, giving you three a look that made you think she didn’t necessarily believe you.
You shrug it off, and say, to both the boys and your mum, “not really, do either of you want anything specific?”
Barty shakes his head, and Evan thinks it over for a second before saying, “no, i'm alright with anything, thanks.” Euphemia nods, then smiles at the three of you and walks out of your room.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That night, you're setting the table for dinner, when your dad comes up to you.
“So, two boys huh?” He asks, handing you the plates.
“Hi dad,” you take the plates and put them on the table in their spots.
“I mean, no judgment, I just don't want to see you get hurt is all,” he shrugs, “hell, I was in one at one point.”
“What?” You ask, disbelieving. He nods, smiling, then says, “you have to tell me what's going on with those boys before I tell you the story though.”
You sigh, but listen, “nothing’s really happening. I mean, I like them, and they seem to like me, but we’ve never actually talked about it before.”
“Do they like each other?” He asks.
“Yeah, they definitely like each other,” you confirm, remembering all the times you’ve walked in on them being very comfortable with each other.
“Then I think, if nothing comes of this before the school year starts up, you should say something about it,” your dad advises. You nod, agreeing, then say, “alright, enough about me, what's your story?”
“Oh that? I dated a boy and a girl in my sixth year, we broke up. It was actually right before me and Effie got together!” He says, before going into detail on what it was like for him. You listen, and by the end of his story, dinner’s done, and you’ve decided to embrace this thing you’ve got going on and let whatever comes- whether that be a relationship or something else- come naturally.

BELLAMY BLAKE X FEM!READER
𝜗𝜚 A/N - thank you so much for the request angel, i tweaked it a little, i hope you don't mind!!!
𝜗𝜚 SUMMARY - you were one of the unlucky ones, sent down to the ground in a skirt. so while drunk and looking for a place of warmth, you manage to stumble into bellamy blake's tent, the boy you've always hated, or so you've said.
𝜗𝜚 WARNINGS - drinking, underage drinking, drunk!reader, love confessions, throwing up, reader has a mom, crying, comfort, (3) use of y/n, petnames, intended lower case, nothing i write is ever proofread 🩷

you weren't supposed to be sent to the ground.
you weren't one of the hundred that committed crimes and were paying out their sentence. on the contrary, you couldn't be further from a criminal. but your mother just so happened to be on the council on the ark. she decided that if you were going to die it was going to be on the ground and not dying of no air up there.
at the beginning, you held out hope that you'd go back. in fact, you were one of the only ones who still had their wristbands on.
but the hundred had given up any source of hope, that was why everyone was wasting all of their booze. you too began to stumble around, talking to some, avoiding others and downing the distasteful liquid.
"well, that's a surprise." you turned your head at the deep voice. bellamy blake.
he was a pretty boy but he knew that which instantly made him so much less appealing. he had that pretty dark tousled hair with his glowing eyes and many freckles. you'd be jealous if you were a boy, you supposed. though it must run in the family because octavia was just as beautiful.
both your parents were awfully close back in the day. you used to look at bellamy as if he were your friend though octavia would always hold the title of your best friend. but bellamy changed after a while, he turned into this unrecognisable boy after octavia had been arrested.
you were one of the only people who knew of octavia's existence before then but when testifying, you had to swear that you didn't know who she was so your mother didn't get in trouble. perhaps that was when bellamy decided to turn into a stranger.
at each other's throats is what you were now. you could hardly stand to be in a room with him. he and his posse only got worse now that they were on the ground, ripping off people's wristbands and telling them that they wouldn't be allowed to eat if they hadn't. you supposed you'd been an exception, despite his unkind nature towards you.
perhaps octavia had said something to him.
"what is?" your voice was sort of slurred. the night had hardly begun and you were already off your rocker, the alcohol was enough to have you woozy.
"didn't take you for much of a drinker, princess, that's all." the godawful nickname he'd given you all that time ago.
you cocked a brow at the boy, turning your head. it was sort of hard to feign hatred when you looked at him like that, with big glassy eyes. "why not?"
he tsked. "not really what good girls do, is it?"
you could only roll your eyes at him. "go find someone else to bother, bells."
you watched as his face dropped ever so slightly.
bells. he'd given you the nickname princess but you'd settled on bells back when he was still someone you looked up to. you thought it suited him well but he always complained, said it made him sound like a girl. not that you cared, though. it'd been a long time since that nickname left your lips.
"right." he could only clear his throat, eyebrows knitted together as he found himself walking away, his boots too large and too funny looking to your drunk self.
you hadn't registered the nickname that had left your lips and now your brows were strewn together. "so weird."
"who's weird?" that was the sound of the familiar boy jasper, one of the hundred, arrested for something drug related with his best friend monty. you couldn't keep up with those two.
"jasper!" you practically slung yourself around the boy, he caught you before you could stumble backwards while a grin plastered itself on his face, a matching one on your own as your head dropped against his chest.
there was never anything between you and jasper but you were both awfully touchy, especially with a little alcohol in you both.
from the other side of the camp, you couldn't register the look bellamy was burning into the side of the boys head.
"jasper's a weirdo?" monty questioned. he never got as drunk as the rest, just enough of a buzz to find everything funny.
you weren't much of a drinker, if you were being honest. if someone had offered you drink back on the ark you would have refused in miliseconds but a lot had changed since then. besides, what did you have to lose, by the rate the camp was going, you'd all be dead in a few months anyway.
"no." you hiccuped. "jasper's gonna help me find some more booze."
"yes i am." he turned. "hop on." and he bent down, allowing you to jump on his back as he began walking back to the others, monty followed not too far behind.
the crowd of people were in the middle of the camp, they poured out people drinks and passed them around, nobody was alone. that part was funny, you thought. if they were all still on the ark, half of them wouldn't so much as look at one another, but now? they were closer than ever.
there was a makeshift table out of logs of wood which held all the booze, jasper got to work with pouring you something not too strong. seeing as you didn't drink much, it wasn't the best idea to give you something ridiculous. "hey miller." miller was next to you, around the same height as jasper but seeing as you were on his back, he looked small to you. you wondered if this was how they saw you on the daily. "hows the weather down there." you giggled against jasper's hair while jasper snorted.
"nice to see you too, y/n." you couldn't really see miller's eyes seeing as his beanie was practically attached to his head but you could see he was smiling, that was all that really mattered to you.
"we really need to let you drink more." octavia always found everything funny when she drank, much like monty in that way. it was good to see the girl so carefree, she cared too much about things these days.
"i agree." though there was a sudden slouchness that came with drinking. "octavia, is my skirt up?" the realization that you were on the boy's back, despite the black skirt that your mother had so graciously let you wear that day, not telling you that you should have maybe wore a sweatpants because hey, you were getting sent to the ground.
"nope. but i'll let you know if anyone starts talking about seeing an ass out."
you grinned, laying your head against the mop of hair on jasper's head. "you're the bestest."
"that's not a word, y/n." monty mumbled to you, watching as you turned with a frown. "but well done for being really nice..?"
"okay!" jasper announced, allowing you off his back. "one drink for the lady." he practically bowed, passing the drink off to you.
both monty and jasper stared, seemingly interested as you brought the cup up to your mouth, tasting the burning liquid. you did, then immediately scrunching your face up. "ew! jasper what the heck is that? it tastes like... tastes like..."
"barf?" octavia helped.
"tastes like barf!"
"maybe, but you'll feel a nice buzz after." jasper pushed it towards your lips again. "just drink it and see how you feel later."
you did in fact feel a buzz after.
the party continued and all you could focus on was the dizziness clouding your vision, the way your head was suddenly swirling. you ended up losing the others, how? you were unsure but the crowd was too loud to go back into. some people were scattered around the edges by the tents which is where you found yourself stumbling.
your legs were suddenly freezing, despite the pretty lacy black tights that covered them. you really did wish your mother had given you a heads up.
your spinny eyes looked to the tents and you wondered if you could get some warmth inside there. there was only one problem, it was much too dark and you were much too drunk to find your own one.
in a single tent, you could see the reflection of what appeared to be a lamp. it was one of the makeshift ones that the camp had made, a little fire in a box, lighting up the whole room. you could see the outline from the outside and you hoped and prayed that whoever's tent it was, they wouldn't mind you coming in for a little while.
one foot in front of the other, you reminded yourself, wobbling your way towards the tent.
in no time, you'd made it towards the entrance, pulling open the sheer curtain to reveal bellamy blake, sitting with his eyes closed against the sleeping back, arms behind his head.
"hello." you practically squeaked.
bellamy's eyes opened and he looked your frame up and down. "yes?"
"was jus' wondering..." you stumbled walked into the room, finger against the sticks holding the tend up. "wondering when the next supply run was on."
"yeah." he smacked his lips. "and then the real reason that you're here?"
he couldn't help it. as much as you disliked one another, bellamy had known you since you were young, you couldn't exactly get away with hiding much from him. a loud sigh left your lips as you plopped down on the blanket at the other side of the tent. "'m cold." your hands rubbed at your eyes. "really don' like bein' drunk, bells."
he cleared his throat, stiffening in his spot as he let his arms down. "why don't you go rest in your tent then, y/n?"
"can't find it." you blew air out from your lips. your eyes rose to meet his. "can i stay..?" your voice was low, you hardly knew what to expect back, you wouldn't have been surprised if he yelled at you to leave right then and there.
but instead, he pursed his lips. "you can stay." and your lips curved as he tossed you one of the hideous orange blankets. "here, cause you're so cold."
"you're the bestest." you yawned while laying on your back, the sound of monty's voice telling you that it wasn't a word filling your head. "do you remember when i used to sleep over at yours back on the ark?"
the fond memories filled his mind. "i do."
"i kind of miss that." you hiccuped, slurring your words. "miss the ark. i wanna go home, i think. but 's nice here, with octavia back, feel like she's been gone forever. when we were younger, we used to talk about coming to the ground together, you know? you were always in the plan, too, couldn't leave you behind."
jasper wasn't lying, you'd definitely felt more than a buzz.
your head turned despite being laid on the ground. bellamy was looking at you the same way he did so long ago, nothing had changed in his face, he didn't look a bit older, he just got taller and stockier. "you changed, bell. got mean."
you could tell there was a kind of guilt ridden in his eyes. "everyone changed, we had to."
"maybe." you slurred. "but i wouldn't have stopped loving you like that."
he thought back to everything that had happened. when octavia was put in prison and his mother was floated, he tried to find anyone he could to blame. he never stopped loving you, he just pushed you away until you stopped fighting.
his heart was stuttering. he hadn't spoken to you like this in... he didn't even know how long, that was what tore him up even more. but seeing you like this, talking to you like this, it was as if things had never changed. "still love me after everything?" it was almost a joke, the way he'd said it. he wasn't expecting you to truly respond.
but the words, "of course." came from your mouth before you could so much as think of an answer to say. "i'll always love you. do you think... do you think you could ever love me again, bells?"
he never stopped.
but he wasn't nearly as drunk as you, he couldn't say the words with such ease like you could. all you had to do was blame it on the booze. but this was real to him.
once again, he pursed his lips. "how about we talk about this when you're sober, 'kay princess?"
you sat up, eyes looking foggy, far away even.
the words set in and you realised he avoided your question completely.
no answer was still an answer, right?
"i should go." you mumbled under your breath, embarrassment sneaking its way through your cheeks, tears stinging at your iris'. you realised that you'd said more than you should have.
nothing was ever going to go back to the way it was.
"no, don't, angel―" but you were already getting up. bellamy had let you go once, he didn't plan on doing it again.
he too moved from his place, getting up and following you out of the tent. "come on, princess, let's just go back inside, yeah?"
he could hear you sniffle. "no, i just―"
you couldn't finish your sentence, you were already on the ground.
bellamy sped up, getting to you in three strides. "you're okay, baby, come on, let's go."
you shook your head, shaky breath leaving your lips. "no, bells, don't feel well."
bellamy hadn't watched you get drunk before but he'd watched enough and been in your position enough to know what was going to happen. "you're okay, sweet girl, just let it out." he was already scooping up your hair into a makeshift ponytail.
it took seconds before you were emptying your guts into the bush.
but the boy didn't say anything, holding your hair back and using his free hand to rub up and down your shirt. "there you go, atta girl."
but you didn't feel like you were doing anything right.
if anything, it just made everything so much worse.
as you moved your head away, you felt the tears beginning to sprout. "ruined everything." you mumbled feebly, feeling the weight of the situation hit you after the alcohol finally began to wear off.
"you didn't ruin anything." bellamy let your hair go, using his hands to wipe away the straying tears. "everything's fine, okay?"
but you shook your head, tears finding their way down your cheeks anyway. "i ruined your night, got sick and embarrassed myself and―and nothings ever gonna go back to the way it was and you're never gonna love me again and―"
"hey, hey, hey, look at me." you did as you were told, looking at him with red teary eyes. "i can't love you again because i never stopped loving you in the first place, okay?"
"you mean it?" all sniffily
"of course i mean it." with nothing other than the truth.
"you're not just saying it?"
"of course i'm not just saying it." the man helped you up. "come on, you need to rest."
you weren't too sure what to do now. you'd been so aching to get all of it off your chest that you hadn't even thought about what would happen after.
whatever it was, you were sure you and bellamy could face it together.

Hello! Can I request Monty's reaction to being gifted a flower crown from a Fem! S/O if it's not too much?
🐊Montgomery Gator + "A Crown of Flowers:"🐊
Aw, thanks babe! He's a little surprised at first--he's never gotten a flower crown from someone before. But he really likes it. It might not fit his usual "rock'n roll" style, but that doesn't stop him from proudly displaying it on his mantle of "prized possessions." (It's also less likely to get broken or lost this way.) Check it out! Yeah, his girlfriend made this for him. Pretty sweet, right?

About the cradle robber!Bruce thing. I think that interesting! I have some questions about this now!
Like how did they meet? A gala? Conference? Overseas?
Do the batfamily approve of the relationship even though they see his feelings are genuine?
(This one cause I saw the tags) do dick or Jason try to swoon her over to go out with them since she closer to his age?? (I think she could be mid or early twenties. In between dick's and Jason's ages)
Also, him overthrowing the age gap to the point it put a damper on the relationship 😥
I really like this au. Good job!
-
tyy for this ask I think that reader met cradle robber!bruce wayne at an event, whether it be a party, ball, gala, charity event, etc.! I think that reader would've went up to bruce first, introducing herself and whatnot, while she's tipsy?? and bruce can't help but be somewhat charmed by her youthfulness and smile. he ends up chatting w her the whole night, and before he leaves to do batman stuff™️, he gets her number :33
i think that while being sceptical at first, bruces (and readers) family approve of their somewhat unconcentional relationship. most of the batkids are respectful and kind to reader, but jason would at first probably tease and make fun of her. he seems like the type to hit on her for the sake of seeing her flustered and squirmy, but would eventually mellow out into just teasing (very titans!jason imo) u abt ur age and the age gap between u and bruce. dick, however, i think would flirt w u, but in a way that makes u unable to tell if he's genuinely flirting w u or if it's just his personality. this would obviously confuse u, but u dont think it's anything to tell bruce abt.
im kinda slow and don't understand the last bit sorry 💔💔 again please send asks abt cradle robber!bruce wayne 🙏
edit: I realised what u meant in the last bit (overthinking) when I was typing the word overthinking and it got autocorrected to overthrowing ☹️. I might write smth small for it later

The Potters' house was very different from yours. It was the first thing you noticed when you woke up. Back home, it felt like Grimmauld Place existed under a perpetual storm cloud. Here, sunshine cannot be escaped. The curtains were drawn closed, but light still filtered in from both sides, almost pleading for them to be opened so that it might do its duty of brightening the house.
Another thing you noticed were birds, who sang pretty songs from right outside your window. You can't remember ever hearing any birds outside your home, and there were plenty of trees for them to nest in. In fact, you started to believe that the aura of your house scared all living things away. Realistically, it was probably all of the yelling and screaming.
As you lie in an unfamiliar room and think of all the reasons why you preferred it over your own, three gentle knocks beat on your door. They sounded different than James' quick staccato, and nerves bubbled in your stomach because you couldn't guess who was on the other side.
You took a deep breath, told yourself that you didn’t have to be so on edge here, and called for the person to come in as you sat up. The knock pattern automatically filed itself away in your brain as belonging to Mrs. Potter. She walked in, carrying a silver tea tray.
"Good morning, dear. Sleep well?" She greeted you as she made her way to your bedside.
"Yes, Ma'am." You said politely.
"Oh, please call me Effie," she insisted as she placed the tray on the bedside table and moved to draw open your curtains. You imagined the sunshine saying thank you for finally letting it in.
“I’ve brought up some tea for you. I wasn't sure how you liked it, alas..." Effie waved her hand over the tray.
The tray had the basics: a teapot, sugar, and a small milk pitcher. However, Effie had also laid out various tea bags for you to choose from, along with some warm biscuits.
“Thank you,” you said in awe as you stared at the display. It was a simple tea setting, really, but the thoughtfulness still had you feeling choked up.
"I spoke with James this morning. May I?" Effie gestured to the edge of your bed, and you welcomed her to sit. "He woke Monty and me up at the crack of dawn, insisting that we let you and your brother stay permanently. Even had tears in his eyes. I tell you, that boy has his father’s big heart."
"Anywho, I nearly tossed a pillow at him for waking me up so early, as if I’d even consider an alternative! But I got to thinking, if James felt like we needed convincing, then we better make sure you and Sirius don’t feel any unease either.”
Effie reached for your hands that lay folded in your lap. “So,” she paused a moment to allow you the chance to shoo her off before placing her hand over yours. “I felt it was important to tell you personally that you are welcomed in this home and this family, assuming you’ll have us, for as long as you need us. That sounds like a good deal to you?”
You bit back tears, “Yea- yes. I think that sounds lovely.”
Effie smiled and squeezed your hands, “Can I give you a hug, dear?”
“Yes, please.” you croaked.
Effie wrapped her arms around you, and you let a few tears loose while she couldn’t see you, wiping them away with your thumb as soon as they appeared. The hug felt warm and unfamiliar, and you wondered if there was a time that your parents ever hugged you like this. If they did, you didn’t remember it.
From behind Effie’s back, you watched James waltz over through your blurry vision. He became distracted by the surprise that the bedroom door was already opened, eyeing it before anything else in the room as he leaned against the doorframe.
“Good morning, sunsh- Mum! You’re in here!”
Effie pulled back from you and craned her neck to look over her shoulder at her son, who was standing up as straight as a board in the doorway. She raised an eyebrow at him, sensing his sudden weirdness.
“I was just welcoming Y/N to our home, like we discussed. Are you alright, dear?” Effie tilted her head.
“‘m splendid, Mum.” James said it with a goofy smile, rocking back and forth on his heels.
She drew her eyebrows together and said, "Lovely, James. What can we do for you?"
"Me? Do for me?" James' eyes widened.
Effie shook her head, perplexed by her son’s reaction.
"I'm wondering what brings you here, James?"
"Ah. I was just in the area," James said, doing a poor job at acting casual. "Y'know, the upstairs... area. Uh, so I thought I'd say good morning... Good morning!"
You thought that this must be the kind of thing people face palm over.
“Hm,” Effie squinted at her son, studying him for a moment before deciding to worry about whatever that was later. She turned back towards you, “Anywho, this is your room now, so I hope it's to your liking. We can see about changing these sheets and painting the walls however you’d like-”
“It’s perfect!” You interrupted, looking bashful for doing so, but Effie didn't seem to mind.
“Well, feel free to customize it any other way. Any posters?” Effie offered.
"I didn't have time to grab that sort of thing,” you admitted, and immediately felt stupid for doing so. Effie clearly just wanted you to feel at home, and you felt like you were being a downer.
But if it phased Effie, she didn’t show it.
"Well then, that means we get to go buy some new ones, yeah?"
She gave your hands a final squeeze before standing up, saying, “I better let you wake up and enjoy the tea,” and walking towards the hall.
Effie affectionately patted James on the cheek as she passed him.
“Have you had breakfast, dear?”
“Mum!” James shrank away from her, his face growing hot. “I will in a minute!”
She tsked at him, gave his cheek one last pinch, and made her way out of the room. James hung from the doorframe into the hall to watch her go. When she was out of sight, he dipped into your room and shut the door silently behind him.
James' back pressed against the closed door as he shot you a toothy grin.
"Good morning, sunshine," he repeated.
You can't help but giggle at him while saying, "Good morning, Jamie."
As he walked over you, his smile slightly faded as a hint of sadness crept onto his face when he noticed your teary eyes.
One thing you loved about James was that he never resorted to any of those hollow phrases like "don't cry" or "stay strong" when he tried to make you feel better. Instead, he always concocted the perfect cure for the situation. Today, it was goofiness and a lot of kisses.
James made a big show of acting innocent as he approached. He whistled some tune and looked anywhere but you before he suddenly dived at you, embracing your waist with a gentle yet decisive sweep of his arms. He flung his body into the mattress, dragging you down with him. You yelped and chided him through laughter.
When you landed, you were tangled awkwardly—your body twisted so that your torso was on top of his, but his legs were draped over yours. James' arms were still wrapped tightly around your waist, keeping you trapped as he peppered kisses on your face. He kissed your cheeks and the corner of your eyes, then your eyelids, effectively kissing away any stray tears.
You were a fit of giggles by the time his lips reached the tip of your nose. Next up, he dipped his head to kiss each side of your mouth before finally capturing your lips with his. You giggled through the feathery kisses he pressed on your lips, and he couldn't help but follow in your footsteps as he smiled against you.
Soon, laughter overtook you both. Yet you remained close, with your noses brushing against each other and your foreheads pressed together, as your happy laughter filled the room.
Eventually, James' laughter began to die down. He removed one of his hands from your waist to help brush your hair back into place, it having gotten disheveled from his attack.
You settled down as well, letting the touch of his fingertips in your hair calm you. He took notice and continued running his fingers through your hair, even after it was all brushed out of your face.
For a peaceful moment, you gazed into his eyes, which were filled with admiration and mirrored your own. James watched as a glint of mischief suddenly sparkled in your eyes.
"So," you voiced.
"Mhm," he hummed.
"You've clearly never tried to hide something from your mum before."
"Why would I 'ave had to hide something from my mum before?" James pouted, briefly bringing your giggles back. "Only reason I haven't gushed to her about my beautiful girlfriend," James gave your waist a squeeze, "is 'coz she would have qualms with me lying to a friend."
"Oh, so I guess we better go tell Sirius then, yeah? I wouldn't want to make you lie to your dear mum, I like her." You teased, amused by James' eyes widening nervously.
You've talked about telling your brothers before, but it's something neither of you were quite ready for—you were too fond of the blissfulness you found in the privacy of your relationship.
"Er, I don't particularly feel like getting socked in the face today." James said.
"Oh, come on. You think he'd react that badly?" You carried on.
"I think Sirius punching me would be a mild reaction for him." James grimaced, "He'll probably hex me into the next century. And I get chills thinking about what would happen if Regulus were to find out. Oh, I'd be a dead man. Or he'd put an irreversible curse on my bloodline. It's a tossup, really."
Your smile faltered at the mention of your twin brother, suddenly remembering your situation. You let yourself get distracted by the warm welcome from Effie and James' affection. How could you lay here happily while Regulus is still stuck at that house?
Your expression suddenly grew very solemn as you began squirming out of James' grip. "Where's Sirius?" you asked.
James seemed to choke on his own spit. "Uh, pardon? You're not really planning on telling him today?” Despite his protest, James loosened his grip, not wanting to keep you somewhere you didn’t want to be. “At least let me put my Quidditch gear on, I might need the protective padding."
You had tunnel vision the moment Regulus’ name was mentioned, but you realized what James was saying by the time he mentioned protective padding.
“Not that, James. I need to find out about Reg.”
His mouth formed an O shape as you stood at the foot of the bed with your hands on your hips.
“So do you know where he is?”
“Uh, eating breakfast probably,” James guessed, “in the dining room.”
You stared at him expectantly and after a while of him not moving, you huffed, “I don’t know where that is, James!”
“Right!” James scrambled up from the bed so he could lead you through the house. You could’ve found it if you wandered long enough, but the Potters’ house was fairly large, and you wanted to talk to Sirius as soon as possible.
By the time James had led you to the kitchen, you could see Sirius in the next room over through the open archway. You pushed past James at once.
Sirius was alone at the head of the table, various platters of breakfast food surrounding him. The kitchen was hot when you passed through it, so one of James’ parents must have just been cooking, but they were nowhere to be seen now. Sirius was shoveling some sausage onto his plate when he saw you.
“Sirius,” you said sternly as your hands returned to your hips.
“Look who’s finally up!” Your brother cheered, “Just in time to eat.” He gestured at the seat next to him.
James appeared at your side, and said, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Maybe you should have some before you-”
“Where is Regulus?” You interrupted, ignoring James altogether.
James’ utterance of “Yeah, didn’t think so” was lost on your ears.
With a scowl on his face, Sirius turned his attention away from his meal. His eyes scanned over you, and his scowl twisted into an amused expression. “Nice outfit!” he snorted.
You looked down briefly to see yourself drowning in James’ clothes. Being much taller than you, James' sweats pooled at your ankles. You rolled your eyes.
“Stop it, Sirius. Where is our brother?”
Sirius squinted at you. You thought he was finally going to give you answers when he decisively opened his mouth, but instead, “You should sit and eat. James is right, breakfast is the most-”
“Sirius!” You raised your voice, your hands molding into fists as your arms dropped to your sides.
Sirius threw his fork down with a clatter, “What do you want me to say?”
“I want you to tell me why he’s not here with us.” Your pleading voice cracked as you begged your brother for answers, stepping closer to him.
Sirius had a stormy, faraway look in his eyes, as if recalling something poignant. “The only one who can answer that question is him, so you’re out of luck,” he said bitterly.
The simmering anger in your chest started to bubble, rising up to your throat until you were spitting words that you would later regret. “You left him there!” you accused.
“Excuse me?” Sirius sent a deadly stare your way as he slowly pushed his chair back and stood up.
“Woah,” James tried to interrupt, moving to stand between you two, “Maybe we wanna take a moment and-”
You stepped around James, and his remaining words were drowned out by your raised voice: “I said you left him there. He’s not here because of you.”
“You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about!” Sirius bellowed, growing more irritated with you.
“Then why not enlighten me, Sirius!?”
“He chose to stay!" he disclosed. "Alright? I know you think so highly of your favorite brother, but he chose that place!”
“That’s ridiculous,” you scoffed, crossing your arms and looking away.
You ignored Sirius' choice words of "favorite brother." You weren't going to let yourself get distracted by that conversation, which you've had a countless number of times already. Sirius was sensitive to the fact that Regulus was your twin brother, and Sirius would always just be your brother, no matter how many times you told him that you loved them the same.
“I told him to pack, just like you, and he said no. I told him he had to and he refused," Sirius said vindictively.
“Then you should’ve tried harder!" You snapped, spewing words you didn't mean, "Now he’s there alone. He would’ve come if you would've just tried harder, I know it. This is all your fault!”
Sirius reeled back as if you had punched him in the gut. For a moment, he looked hurt, but then anger overwhelmed him. “How could you say that? You weren’t even there!”
“Because you never let me be! I stayed in my room, like you said to, and was out of my mind with worry. Next thing I know, we’re leaving and Regulus isn’t, and that feeling hasn’t gone away because I have no idea how he is. You should’ve grabbed him and dragged him along! You should’ve-“
“Why is everything my fault!? Why is it what I should’ve done!? You don’t even know what he did!” Sirius' nostrils flared with rage.
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about how your dear Reggie isn’t as good as you think he is," he sneered. "If you only saw him…”
“I don’t care what he did, he’s our brother!" You shouted, "He should be here. It doesn’t matter!”
Sirius slammed his hand on the table, “IT DOESN’T MATTER!?” he screamed, causing you to jump back. Tears immediately began welling in your eyes. No matter what you did, when you were being yelled at, you started crying. You weren't like your brothers, who could hold stone-cold, emotionless expressions despite whatever was swirling within. It was one of the reasons your brothers did what they could to keep your parents away from you—to Walburga and Orion, emotion was weakness.
Your tears didn't phase Sirius like they normally would have. He was too furious. “You want to know what he did?" he asked harshly. "He watched. He watched our parents torture me, and then he just walked away!"
“What did you want him to do?” you cried, “He- he was probably scared,” you hiccuped, “you- you should’ve-“
“I shouldn’t have done anything, goddammit! She crucio’d me! THAT’S what he watched our mother do. THAT’S what he let me deal with alone. I was on the ground unable to get up for damn near thirty minutes, and he knew it!"
Sirius nearly doubled over, grabbing the table in front of him for balance so hard that his knuckles blanched. All of the yelling gave him a head rush, but he wouldn't relent, "So don’t you tell me that I should’ve tried harder. That I should’ve grabbed him. He doesn’t care about me, so why should I care about him?”
Your hand clasped over your mouth as you sobbed. Your parents were cruel, but the Cruciatus Curse? You couldn’t fathom it. Your mouth suddenly felt dry, and bile bubbled up in your throat as you recalled Sirius’ scream from the night before.
Neither of you seemed to have anything else to say. You both just stood before each other in your most vulnerable states. It was a miserable sight—you crying your eyes out and Sirius looking sick as a dog.
Neither of you had noticed James leave until he returned. His parents followed closely behind.
"Snitch," Sirius choked out, glaring at his best friend as a fit of coughs hit him, his throat strained from the yelling. He ducked his head down and screwed his eyes shut suddenly, like the light in the room was starting to bother his head.
James didn't seem to care what Sirius thought of him. He was too busy being concerned for you both. Besides, James didn't really snitch. You two were being so loud that his parents were already on their way. He happened to run into them in their pursuit.
"What's going on?" Effie's gentle voice rang through the room, "We could hear yelling from the other side of the house."
Even though James' mum was being stern, she didn't sound angry or upset. Her voice only carried notes of concern and motherly authority.
Neither you nor Sirius answered her, too busy crying and coughing. Both of you would've probably been too sheepish to answer, anyway.
James' parents shared a look with each other, deciding what to do about the situation through eye contact alone.
Fleamont spoke with a firm voice, "Alright, son, we ought to get you up to your room. I think it'd be best for you to lie down." Fleamont clasped a hand on Sirius' shoulder. Your brother let Fleamont assist him in the walk to his room.
Euphemia moved to comfort you, but James stopped her. "Wait, let me."
She raised her eyebrows at her son, skeptical of the idea that her young son was equipped to handle this situation. But James had already started reaching for you, and like a moth to a flame, you melted into his arms the moment you felt his fingertips graze your skin.
Effie's eyes darted between you and her son, settling on him when her features melded into a look of understanding. A million questions raced through her mind. How long had this been going on? Why didn't James tell her? Did James tell Sirius? But the one thing she knew for sure was that you found comfort in James, and comfort was the one thing you needed right now.
She took a deep breath and decided to trust her son. "We'll talk about this later. I'm going to check on Sirius."
"Thanks, Mum." James let out a relieved breath.
"Just... behave."
"Mum!" James blushed, his hands swiftly traveling up to cover your ears with his palms.
"Oh, I didn't mean it like that!" Effie waved a hand in the air as she followed in the direction of Fleamont and Sirius.
James noticed your shoulders had started shaking intensely.
“Lovey,” he cooed. He moved his hands to cup your face, tilting it up to look at him. He was surprised to find that the reason for your shuddering shoulders was not because you had started crying harder. You were still crying, but it was mixed with a bit of laughter.
"I guess neither of us are very good at hiding things,” you said, thinking of how you jumped into his arms right in front of his mother.
James shook his head, a single chuckle escaping from his lips.
“Guess not.”
Your moment of humor quickly passed, your eyes turning sad again as more tears spilled out.
James sighed, brushing away your tears with his thumb before pulling you close to his chest. He rubbed soothing circles on your back, pressed kisses to the top of your head, and whispered professions of love and sweet words in your ear while he let you cry. Sometimes, he knew you just needed to let it all out.
Eventually, you let James’ touch and loving words relax you. When your crying was reduced to a sniffle, James veered back so that you could see his face.
“Let’s go on a walk.”

You liked the quiet of your farm. Just you and your animals and the family across the way, it was peaceful. It was all you had ever known.
Your family moved to Fuller when you were barely a month old, buying up a small farm on the edge of town in hopes of laying down some roots. Life was peaceful, at least until the town began to decay. Less and less children would enrol in school every year, less cars on the roads. Even the fire station shut down as the last family moved out from the city centre. And that led to the death of your parents.
A spark from a frayed cable in the basement landed on a pile of newspapers, setting them alight. It had been a dry summer, far more than usual, and there was no lack of kindling for the blaze. You chose to sleep in the barn that night, wishing to rest beside the newborn calves. Your parents had indulged your silly request, not realising that it would save your life.
You could vividly remember the smell of smoke as it bellowed out from the shattered windows of your home. The dogs howled from their kennels while you ran onto the dirt road leading to the Hewitt household. You banged on their door, begging for them to save your parents.
But even with Monty and Charlie doing their best to put out the fire, no help was coming. You were forced to watch from the comfort of Luda Mae’s arms as your entire world turned to ash.
You lived with the Hewitts for a long time after that, being that you had no other family, as the small farm house was rebuilt. By the time you were 19, you had a new home and a deep friendship with the younger Hewitt brother. Thomas had always been kind to you in the brief moments you had seen each other, but it became something more when you became a daily fixture in his life.
He showed you how he did his chores around their own farm, took care of the animals and crops on yours when you could not bear to look upon the mound that used to be your home. And in turn, you treated him with more kindness than he had ever experienced. You never faltered at his appearance nor his size, in fact you always found ways to compliment him. You taught him to read and write, and later on, how to use sign language after your schooling ended, even if he only ever used it with you.
You were his best friend and he was yours.
Perhaps that’s why he never encouraged you to leave as the rest of his family did.
Having finished your morning chores, you sat on the small porch in front of your house with a cup of tea and the book you had been meaning to read, eager to soak in some sun before the Texan heat rolled through. Just as you were getting to a particularly juicy section where the gentle giant farm hand had finally kissed the farmer’s daughter in the barn, a shrill scream cut through the faint buzz of the cicadas.
“What the-“ You tilted your head, waiting for another sound but none came. Leaning over your porch railing, you could just about see the edge of the Hewitt’s driveway and noticed their truck was missing as was Hoyt’s police car. A warm breeze rustled the wheat growing along your property line.
A sour feeling gnawed at your stomach, urging you to grab your sunhat from its peg by the front door and take the short walk over to the dilapidated home.
Thomas would be at work already and if Luda Mae wasn’t home, then neither would Charlie since his old age was starting to get to him. Maybe an animal had gotten hurt, you mused as if trying to convince yourself that the scream couldn’t have possibly been human.
“Hello?” The screen door was firmly shut but you couldn’t quite see anything in the dark hallway. You’d have to remind Luda Mae to open up the windows when she left the house for the day, again.
The floorboards creaked as something moved around. You glanced over your shoulder, hoping to see Thomas’s hulking figure walking up the driveway to save you from having to go in and investigate. But alas, only a toad sat on the gravel, looking up at you with a bored expression, as much as a toad can have.
“If I get murdered, Thomas gets all my stuff.” You pointed at it before taking a deep breath and opening the door.
A coppery smell clung to the stale air, an almost constant of the home but today, it set you more on edge. After three years of living there, you could’ve navigated the house blindfolded but as you passed the switch, you flicked on the lights somehow hoping it would ease the twisting in your stomach.
“Hello?” You called again, passing by the kitchen, not noticing the now empty knife block. The basement door was open. “Hoyt I swear to god if this is you trying to be funny, I’ll kick your ass.” You glanced down the basement stairs, but only the single hanging bulb was visible in the dark.
Just as you were turning to continue your search, something heavy threw itself into your chest, sending you down the steps. You slammed hard against the concrete floor, the air was ripped from your lungs violently as your ears began to ring. Footsteps thudded down the stairs. Your mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water as you tried desperately to breathe.
“Get that rope.” You reached for the leg of Thomas’s workbench, your vision beginning to tunnel. A hand grabbed at your shoulder, forcing you onto your back.
“She-she’s not one of them.”
“It doesn’t fucking matter! She’s here isn’t she?”
“Please.” You wheezed but you were only met with a fist to your jaw. Your eyes rolled.
“C’mon we can make a run for it now. We don’t have to hurt her.” The voices were growing distant.
“Would you just shut the fuck… up.” The last word trailed off as something else caught their attention. You dug your heels into the floor in an attempt to push yourself away from the two voices. The ache in your stomach was starting to ease but you still couldn’t fill your lungs all the way.
Darkness suddenly covered you as the light from the dining room vanished. “Please.” You tried again but you were only met with silence. Wood creaked and suddenly, you were hauled up.
“Get any closer and I’ll slit her fucking throat.” The cold metal of a blade pressed itself against your neck. A bitten off whimper slid past your lips as the tip dug into your skin. Your vision began to clear as adrenaline rushed through your veins. A huge shadow loomed at the top of the stairs, silently watching as the two people holding you back panicked.
“Thomas.” You tried to reach out to him. You caught the glint of metal before he raised his arm and threw a meat cleaver directly into the forehead of the one that had tried to run. They dropped like a sack of potatoes, eyes wide with fear as the life quickly left them.
“Shut up you stupid bitch!” Their hold on you got looser as Thomas took one step forwards. His eyes glinted with anger, a rage you had never witnessed in your gentle giant before. His hands were curled into fists so tight that his knuckles were white, his shoulders raised, making him look even bigger.
You could feel the body behind you trembling as he steadily got closer. “Stay back!” But their tone wavered. You were pulled backwards as Thomas reached the middle of the stairs. “I’ll fucking kill her!”
As slowly as you could, you began to reach into your front pocket for the small knife you always kept on you. The one Thomas had given you on your 16th birthday. His eyes flicked to you at your movement. You hissed as the knife against your throat pressed in deeper, nicking the delicate skin.
A sound akin to a growl rumbled through the basement. “Thomas no-“ The words had barely escaped you when suddenly the knife was pulled from your neck and shoved into your side. Coldness exploded from the wound like you had been plunged into a frozen lake as your body fell forwards.
A scream echoed through the home but it didn’t sound like your voice. It was warped and all wrong. You fell against something solid but also somehow soft. Its warmth drew your mind back for a moment, just enough to watch as one of Thomas’ massive hands coiled around the other man’s throat and squeezed with all his might.
He thrashed and struggled but he was no match for Thomas. There was a crunch, and then he went limp, his head lolling strangely on his neck. Thomas dropped his body like it was a piece of trash before all his attention shifted to you.
Your own body was shaking in his hold but you were the furthest thing from scared. With the same hand he had just used to kill someone, he pressed down on your side, stopping the bleeding as best he could. “It’s ok, you saved me Thomas.” He shook his head, his dark hair falling in front of his face.
He eased you back onto the workbench making you wince as the first tinges of pain began to appear. “Thomas.” You reached for him but he stepped away from you and darted into the darkness of the basement. He was rummaging through something. You heard glass break while you clutched at your stomach.
His lumbering footsteps returned and the bulb above you flicked on with a gentle hum. A bright red box was in his hands which he was looking through as he rushed back to you. “Talk to me.” You urged. He glanced at you then sighed heavily.
Not yet, he gestured and pulled out a thick bandage. You let out a huffed laugh, letting him pull up your now ruined shirt to get access to the wound. His eyes narrowed before he let out a breath of relief. Not deep.
You bit down on your lip as he wrapped the bandage around your plush stomach, pulling it as tight as he could without causing you more pain than necessary. “Thank you for saving me.” He helped you to sit up, taking care not to put too much strain on you.
His bulk was all you could see now. He cupped your cheek, a move far bolder than you expected from the shy man. You nuzzled into his touch, unable to stop yourself. “You did so good Tommy.” He nodded and you finally smiled. His head dipped down as his eyes flicked to yours with a silent question, one you had been waiting for since you were 15.
It was you who leaned in first, capturing his chapped lips in a kiss that was long overdue. He was frozen for just a second then melted into it, naturally meeting the soft push and pull of your mouth in a way that made your brain go fuzzy that wasn’t purely shock. He hesitated when he pulled away but he didn’t go far, only putting enough space between you in order to meet your gaze once more.
“Protect.” His voice deep and rough from disuse but as he gathered you into his arms and tugged you against his broad chest, you knew that he would do anything to do just that. And you couldn’t help but smile through the pain.

“This is where your office will be for the time being. Why don't you put your things down and get comfortable, and l'll come get you in a few. I'll take you to meet Don, Cam, Jim, and the boys."
She nodded and smiled at her new boss, putting her bag down on the chair of her new, albeit small, office. It was probably 10×10ft, but it overlooked the city of Boston in the way she'd always dreamed of. She finally made it - got a position working in media for her childhood, hometown team - the Boston Bruins.
As she paced around the room, all she could do was smile to herself, anxiously awaiting her boss, Angelica, to come retrieve her so she could meet the team.
Boston born and raised, she had always been a hockey fan - specifically a Bruins fan. Brad Marchand's name and jersey number were her laptop password far before he wore the C' on his chest. Jack Edwards' voice was both familiar and nostalgic, as it echoed around her childhood home in the fall, with family crowded up around the TV set watching their B's.
"Y/N, are you ready?" Angelica's voice broke her away from her memories. She grinned as Angelica motioned for her to follow down out of her office and into the Garden. She looked around in disbelief - all of her hard work truly paid off to get here, especially at only 21 years old.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Sweeney and Mr. Neely are in an important meeting at the moment. l've made them aware that you are here and ready to start working. We'll go meet Monty and the team now, if that's alright. You can get right on with your first task, the hometown video I mentioned. That's a short and easy one that they'll love to do, and it'll help them get to know you and vice versa. Alright?" Angelica smiled.
"Sounds great." she replied kindly, trailing behind Angelica slowly, as she glanced around the path on the way to the locker room. Her hands started to sweat as they got closer to the door, knowing that Brad Marchand was back there. The other guys too, but mostly Brad.
Angelica knocked on the door before turning to her new hire. *Here goes nothing!" she smiled.
Montgomery comes to the door, a small grin lacing his normally stern face. Angelica speaks again. "This is Y/N, our newest media hire. She hails from Boston University. She gestures to her side proudly, as Y/N offers her hand for Monty to shake. "Mind if we come in and get her started?"
Montgomery laughs. “Sure thing. God knows they're tired of me laying into 'em." He holds the door open for the ladies and clears his throat.
"Gentlemen, we have visitors." His voice booms through the space as he leads the media team to the space the team is sitting.
Y/N glances around. Holy shit. That's him. That's Brad Marchand. And Charlie McAvoy. And David Pastrnak. And Charlie Coyle.
She pinches her own hand to remind herself that this is real life.
Angelica clears her throat to speak. “Hi everyone! You all know me, from the marketing and media team. I wanted to introduce to you our newest member of the media group, who will be working closely with you all as a creator for our social accounts and website. Please give Y/N a warm Bruins welcome."
The team smiles, claps, and Carlo lets out a whoop. Of course he did, she thinks to herself, recalling all of the silly videos of Brandon she's seen over the years on the Bruins pages.
Angelica gestures silently over to her new hire, prompting her to introduce herself. "Hi guys, my name is Y/N and I am so excited to be here. I'm a hometown fan hailing from BU," she is interrupted by a whoop now from McAvoy.
She laughs before continuing. “I'm 21, and just finished my degree in digital marketing a year early. I'II be around you all for the time being creating content for our pages like Angelica said, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all. Especially you, Marchy!" she giggles, as laughs, cheers, and boos are heard around the room.
Out of the corner of her eye, she watches a slightly unfamiliar face shove Frederic's side with a puss on his face, as Freddy laughs at him. She narrowed her eyes. Who is that?
Monty notices her confusion and steps in. “Alright boys. Does anyone have any questions for Y/N before I let her take over to do her job, since half of you can't do yours?" He scoffs.
Trent starts to speak loudly, as the one next to him lowers his head. "Potsy wants to know-"
“I don't think Y/N, Angelica, or myself want to answer whatever question is going to follow that, Trent.” Monty interjects. “You're dismissed for the day. Practice at Warrior tomorrow at noon, optional skate at 10:30. Do the media and go home." He rolls his eyes, grabs his suit jacket and leaves the room with Angelica, who slips a thumbs up to her new hire.
The room goes silent, with everyone turning to look at their new media girl. She waves timidly before starting to speak. “Alright guys - just an easy one for me today, no hassle. All you have to do is tell me where you come from! What's your hometown. Bonus points for country, state, province, whatever." She smiles. "Anyone want to go first?"
Zadorov jumps out of his seat. "I've been waiting for something like this! I finally can explain my accent." he grumbles as laughs break out throughout the room.
"Alright!" she replies. *This is not mandatory this first go around, but I'd really love it if everyone would participate. I'd love to get to know you and vice versa. You ready Nikita?"
"She knows my name!!!" Zadorov exclaimed, met with cheers and gloves being thrown at him from various spots around the room as the team begins to clean up. As their new media girl turns to leave the room, she makes eye contact with the same player she watched shove Frederic not too long ago. She smiles at him kindly, and he quickly turns around and grabs his things.
She reads the back of his jersey.
51. Poitras.
Oh... The rookie. He's back from injured reserve, she presumes, trying to not read into how quickly he dodged her eye contact and smile.
For the next hour and a half or so, she learns Zadorov hails from Moscow, Swayman from Anchorage, Frederic from St. Louis, and Marchy from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She pretended she didn't know that one already.
She speaks one-on-one with the majority of the team, with the soft spoken folks like Zacha and Peeke slipping out after bidding her a goodbye and brief thank you.
51 never said anything.
She watched as Poitras, who's first name escaped her, waited for Lohrei and Frederic to be done with their quick interviews, and immediately ushered them out of the room upon completion.
No words spoken to the media girl or either of the players, just frantic hurrying out of the locker room.
The whole situation just seemed strange. She tried to rationalize her thoughts, acknowledging that this random rookie didn't know her, and had no reason to dislike her. Maybe he had something going on. A party or shoot to get to, a dinner reservation, or maybe just didn't feel well and wanted to go home and play Xbox or something.
It wasn't her fault. Not on day one.
-
By day 45, it definitely started to feel like her fault.
51, or Matt as she now knows, continued to dodge her constantly - around the office, around the rink, even on his way in and out of the locker rooms. Matt had not done content for media in her entire month and a half long duration with the Bruins. It started to feel personal.
Luckily, she had finally found a rapport with the majority of the team. Marchy, her childhood favorite, became a confidant, always wanting to partake in anything to give him attention. She got a few lip sync videos out of him. Zadorov another she grew close to. But unshockingly, no one came close to touching her relationship with Brandon Carlo. Though truly not that much her senior, Brandon became an older brother figure to her, frequently partaking in her content, chatting with her, and inviting her out with him, his wife Mayson, and their kids.
She had grown so fond of her Bruins family, and it showed in her content. Her silly interviews had started to do numbers on Instagram and TikTok. The Bruins presence on social media skyrocketed, and she began to receive tasks from her bosses to include as many players as possible.
Her newest task? Intro to the new guys.
Of fucking course.
She started with Lohrei. He was the easiest - just wanted to do what he knew he had to and get back to the ice. She liked that about him. Being the same age, they had a similar respect for each other. And sent each other TikToks on occasion.
After Beecher, Koepke, Jones, Zadi, and Lindy #2, Kastelic was next - though not new to the league, only the B's. Though she knew he was from Arizona and is a former Ottawa Senator, she learned Kasty is an NHL nepo baby.
“Y/N... You can't start calling me nepo baby.. it's not like l'm a Tkachuk." Mark rolled his eyes, the girl laughing in response, clutching her abdomen.
"Kasty, as far as l'm concerned, you might as well be the lost third brother. You're just as much of a rat!"
"Oh... That's low..." he cackled.
"Whatever. Get outta here, and send the next guy in!" she called.
"Will do!" Kasty replied diligently, turning on his heels to go out into the hall. She knew Matt was next. He was the only new guy' left. Being a fan favorite, she knew he needed to be in this video series.
What is taking so long??
She crossed her arms and tapped her feet anxiously, waiting for Poitras to come into the interview room.
“Dude, you actually need to grow up. This is part of the job." She hears Mark's voice through the wall. Her stomach sinks. Is he talking to Matt?
She approaches the door, leaning her ear up against it. "Do you really think this does you any favors? You're such a kid. This isn't the minors, Matt." Kasty's voice booms nastily.
She feels the tears well up in her eyes. She had the feeling that Matt didn't like her, but to fight with a teammate over having to be in an interview video? Was she really that bad at her job?
She walks away from the wall when she hears scrambling on the other side. She wipes her tears as Mark comes back into the room, the one and only Matt Poitras trailing behind him. Kastelic rolls his eyes. "Matt hates media, sorry. He needs to be out as soon as possible or he'll start to freak out." Mark leaves, slamming the door behind him.
Matt sighs, running his hand through his hair.
"Sorry, Y/N. Can we just get this over with?" he says, uneasiness audible in his voice.
She takes a deep breath as she turns her camera back on. "Sure thing, Matt. Why don't you tell me a little about your life growing up?"
-
A few days later, she aggressively flops down onto the carlo family couch. "Brandon, I have a genuine question."
Brandon cocks his eyebrow, bringing dinner over to Y/N and Mayson. "This can't be good." he chuckles.
She throws her arms up exasperatedly. "This is not a joke! I need answers.” Brandon ushers her on. “Is there a reason Poitras hates media so much?"
Brandon lets out the smallest giggle under his breath, making eyes at Mayson. The girl continues, solemnly. "Is it me? Did I do something?"
"Oh my god. No. You didn't. Open your eyes!" Brandon all but yells, not wanting to wake up the kids.
She furrows her brow. “Brandon. I've known you for just under two months and here I am, eating dinner on your couch with your family. Poitras won't do much as speak to me, and he avoids me and media at all costs. I don't know what I did to him." she feels her eyes start to water again.
Brandon sighs. “Dude, have you ever considered that you make him nervous?"
"What? He's a professional hockey player Brandon, that makes no sens-"
“Y/N, he has a crush on you. Since day one. It is slowly killing all of us." Mayson starts to giggle as Y/N's jaw drops, Brandon looking very proud of himself.
"What?"
"You have to say something to him. Please. For the rest of our sake. Monty almost killed him last week when he fucked up that drill in practice - he got distracted when he noticed you in the stands with the camera. If you don't say something to him soon, Monty's gonna send him to Providence!!" Brandon laughed, a lot less quiet this time. Mayson, also still laughing, shushed him between giggles.
-
Monday morning, she shows up to practice with her camera, an evil (Carlo) plan in her brain.
Up in the stands, she notices as she catches Matt's eye. She waves and smiles as he skates into Lohrei's back distractedly. Mason shoves him in response, laughing as he realizes he had been looking at the girl up in the stands.
When Monty calls practice, she heads down to the locker room, searching for Matt. She knocks, signifying her entrance into the room. she calls into the room. "Hey guys, it's Y/N. I need Potsy for an exclusive. Boss's orders." She smiles as she rounds the corner, her order met by whoops and wolf whistles.
Matt blushes, giving his team the stink eye as he approaches her. He starts quietly. “What is this for? They know I don't like doing media."
She gives him a soft smile. "It's a silly TikTok. Ranking snacks. You're a hot commodity, Matty, fans want to see you online!" He blushes again, grabbing his water bottle and following her out of the locker room.
They hear a faint "GET IT!" from Pastrnak as the door closes.
-
Matt sits down in the interview space, accepting her phone with TikTok open on it.
"Loosen up, it's just a video. Everyone loves you - they want to see you be silly" She smiles.
He blind ranks the snacks, frustratedly putting cheetos above protein bars after he didn't plan accordingly. He grins timidly as he gives the phone back to her. He pushes his chair back, and starts to get up to leave. “I hope that was enough. I gotta g-”
“Matt, wait." She gently grabs his arm. "Sit back down for a second. I have more questions!"
His face heats up as he sits back down. "About what? I thought I already did my get to know you thing weeks ago." He rolls his eyes unconvincingly.
She giggles in reply. "They're questions from me.”
"Of course they are, you're the media girl. I don't understand."
"No. This is Y/N asking Matt a question. Not the media girl asking the rookie." She smirks. "I just want to know - why do you hate media so much?Did I do something? You did fine when it was Angelica."
Matt sighs. "It's nothing personal, Y/N. I just get nervous."
She smirks again. "Matt, I know it's personal.”
Sighing louder this time, Matt speaks again. “Y/N, whatever Freddy or Kasty or whoever else told you is not true, I have nothing against yo-"
"Matt, I have a crush on you too."
Matt freezes. "What?"
“I know that's why you won't do media. Why do you think I keep asking you to do it anyway?"
"Boss's orders?" He smiles shyly.
"Something like that." She pulls a piece of paper out of her camera bag, scribbling digits onto it. "Here's my number, Pots. Don't lose it, okay?"
She gets up, turns on her heels, and opens the door back to the locker room.
"I'll call you!" He calls after her.
“I’m sure you will.”

As the mechanic, your job basically consisted of being friendly with all of the glamrocks. You’d figured it was easier to get to know them rather than just barge in and start working on their wires. Over time, you’d developed an .. interesting relationship with none other than Montgomery Gator, the most aggressive of the four animatronics. On this particular day, you had to tend to Freddy a little more than the others, mainly because of a glitch he had during a performance which resulted in a freak out of the children and quite a few adults.
After you had finished up in Freddy’s green room, you said goodbye and left, only to find Monty leaning on the wall, arms crossed and a not-so pleasant expression on his face. “Oh, hey Monty. You okay? Vanessa told me you didn’t need a check up today so I-,” before you could finish, you were yanked rather harshly by the forearm towards the Gator’s green room. “H-Hey! Monty, what’s going on?” You asked, skeptical on why he was acting so strange. You two had been fucking, sure. But you’d never have thought he’d be so annoyed that you were just doing your job. “Shut it, whore.” He grumbled under his breath, opening the door to his room and throwing you onto his mangled up couch. “Too fuckin’ busy to come in an’ even say ‘hello’? Too caught up with Fazbear?” He asked, as he moved to rip your work shirt off, causing your tits to pop out. “No, Monty, He had a glitch today. You saw it.” You protested, but you couldn’t deny that seeing this jealous side of him was.. oddly hot.
“I’m gonna remind ya who ya belong to.” He spoke, discarding of your pants and your panties, revealing your wet snatch to him. His large hands traveled over your body, stopping to grope your boobs and a small whine escaped your lips. After a few moments, he stopped and pried your legs open. Leaning down, he ran a wet stripe up your heat, eliciting a low moan from you. He teased your clit, before you hit his forearm that was holding your thigh gently. “Stop teasing, Montgomery!” You complained, before he finally stuck his strangely long tongue into you, eating you out like he hadn’t eaten in days. You threw your head back in ecstasy, your hand gripping his red mohawk. “M-Monty, Fuck-“ You gasped as soft moans and whines emitted from you. When he sensed you were getting close to the edge, he pulled away. You opened your mouth to give out to him, but he interrupted you. “You ain’t cummin’ unless it’s on my fuckin’ cock.” He growled, picking you up harshly and moving to his vanity, bending you over, your tits flush against the table. You glanced up at yourself, your forehead was glistened with sweat and your cheeks flushed.
Monty wasted no time in discarding his pants, as he pushed the tip of his dick past your gummy walls. No matter how many times you two fucked, his size always surprised you. “T-Too big..” You murmured under your breath, looking up at him in the mirror with pleading eyes. “Take it, slut.” He grunted and with one sharp thrust, he bottomed out in you. Your eyes rolled back into your head as you inhaled sharply, feeling his dick fill you up so nicely. He didn’t give you any time to adjust, as he started thrusting into you at an inhuman pace, yanking your hair back to make you look at yourself in the mirror. “Tell me, who’s fuckin’ ya? Who’s makin’ ya feel this good, huh?” He gave a rougher thrust at the end of his sentence to emphasize his point. “Y-You, you are, fuck!” You rasped, “I got a name, use it. Tell me who ya belong to.” He groaned, feeling you clench around him like a vice. “Monty, you, please just - don’t fucking stop!” You begged, your hands gripping onto his vanity as you felt your knees begin to buckle. “Hnngh- I’m, fuck, Y/N. I’m gettin’ close..” He removed his hand from your hair and placed both of his hands on your hips, holding onto them with bruising force. It didn’t take long for you to cum around him, considering he had edged you before this. Your orgasm hit you like a wave, your vision going blurry for a few seconds. Monty followed a few moments later, painting your insides white with a grunt. He pulled out, and moved to scoop you up into his arms as he sat on the couch. “Uh.. Shit. Sorry if I went too hard on ya.. It’s jus’, ya know how I get ‘bout Fazbear.” He chuckled sheepishly, and you rolled your eyes playfully.
You should get him jealous more often, if this is the outcome.

When you initially got pregnant, most of the house was ecstatic. Hoyt went on and on about continuing the family line, Luda Mae was excited to finally have grandbabies, and Thomas was excited to be a father. Monty was the only one who complained about the presence of a baby.
Even Katherine and Henrietta were excited for you and Thomas. But nobody was more excited than Thomas. Even before you began to show, he was touching your stomach every chance he got. He couldn't believe that all those nights led to a baby finally being put in your stomach.
It made him hard most nights to know that his seed was growing inside of you. and thats how he got between your legs this very night, making you whimper and moan for him just like how he used to before you got pregnant.
He was scared leading up to this, not wanting to hurt the baby, but he just couldn't keep his hands off of you for nine months. So here you sit, at the edge of your shared bed, six months pregnant with his child and he's using his tongue to warm you up for his cock.
His tongue darted across your slit before sliding in, squirming around and wetting your insides just nice for him, as if they weren't wet enough. He held your legs against his head, encouraging you to squeeze him between your thighs. His cock jumped at the loud moan that fell from your lips as he moved to suck on your clit.
You grabbed his hair as he sucked hard on your clit, tugging on him slightly. "Thomas, Thomas please...just fuck me. I'm ready."
Tommy looked up at you with the same uncertainty he gave you on your first night together. His tongue slid over your clit one more time before he stood up. He gently began to move you onto your knees, ass up and face down.
"Please, Tommy...don't be gentle. I can handle it." You pleaded, wiggling your ass at him.
Tommy felt his cock jump again and his pants were off in an instant. Lining up to his favorite hole - your pussy - he began to push in. He let out a loud groan as he finally sunk in. It had been a few months since he last fucked you. He missed this so much. He missed you.
He grabbed your hips and saw how his dick disappeared inside of you, and finally how your ass looked pressed flush to his groin. And suddenly, all sense of gentleness went out the window.
He pulled all the way back until just the tip was in, then he slammed back inside of you and knocked the air out of your lungs. You didn't get any time to breathe as Thomas steadily pounded into you.
You could feel how your pussy clenched around him, seemingly making him bigger as you clamped down. You moaned into the pillow you grabbed, trying to quiet the noise and be considerate of the other people in this house. Thomas however, had other plans.
He reached forward and grabbed your hair, pulling your head up so you can freely moan into the air. Clapping sounds could be heard throughout the room, along with the squelching sounds of your pussy sliding along his cock.
Your back was perfectly arched so your ass was at its juciest point, and Tommy reared his hand back to slap it. You yelped at the sting, but your body continued to be jostled by his quick thrusts. You could barely keep up with him.
"To-Tommy please, slow dow-w-w-n..." You moaned, drool beginning to pile up at the corners of your mouth.
Thomas refused, grabbing the meat of your thigh and pounding further into you, sending you forwards. He let go of your hair, allowing you to drop into the pillow. With all the wieght and rocking, your arms were beginning to grow tired. Before you knew it, your arms had given out and you landed on your stomach.
Tommy grabbed your legs and flipped you on your side, one leg thrown over his shoulder. He fucked back into you, feeling his orgasm rise. He grunted and used his thumb to rub at your clit, making sure to press hard so you really feel the friction.
You moaned loudly at the pressure against your clit, feeling the familiar coil in your stomach form. "Tommy, oh Tommy, I'm gonna cum...!"
He grunted desperately to let you know he was going to cum too. After a few more harsh thrusts, he began to cum inside of you. He rubbed your clit furiously, allowing you to cum with him. You moaned loudly into the pillow, feeling your body wracked with pleasure, pulsating around your husbands cock.
Tommy slowly pulled out, and pulled his pants back up. He turned to his wardrobe and lifted up a few shirts to show a stolen wash cloth. He turns around and uses it to gently wipe you up, both of your cum being wiped up. Normally he'd finger it back into you, but he didn't think that should happen with his baby inside of you.
After discarding the wash cloth on the floor to be washed later, he climbed into the bed with you and pulled you close, kissing your forehead. You leaned up and kissed him on the lips, the mask scratching your face. He put a hand on your stomach and whimpered slightly.
"The baby is okay, honey, and so am I. I promise." You smiled at him, hair a mess and drool pooling at the corner of your mouth.
Tommy wiped away the drool from your face and pet your hair, bringing your face to his neck. He loved you, he loved your baby, and he knew you loved him too. As you slowly began to drift off to sleep, Tommy's gaze remained on you, his heart fixated on all the love he built over the years, and all the love that is to come.
