Of course I knew but somehow during this fast - it has become so pronounced. Certain aspects of the way I speak - my words - in many ways, I’ve done a disservice to myself & then get upset/maybe even shift the blame on to others. • By shutting off the noise of distractions around me - not RSVPing to every drama/comment in my life & focus on prayer - I’m reminded that words have power. I have the power how to respond - when to respond - if I respond. • Learning the discernment of what to share & with whom to share.
