So, it’s been a long time since I have been to a punk rock show… or really any kind of show or concert. It’s been even longer since I was a regular attendee or participant in such shenanigans. I got the opportunity to take my son to his 1st ever punk rock show on Monday at The Roxian (a place I have never been), and we had a blast watching Left Alone, The Aggrolites, & The Aquabats! Underrated MCR Songs

1. Summertime ~ This song is literaly beautiful I can't process the fact people skip it

2. Cubicles ~ I genuinely think this is one of their best songs and it doesn't get the recognition it deserves

3. Desert song ~ The perfect song to cry to, it's so beautifully haunting yet one of their lesser known songs

------------------------------------- 4. Surrender the night ~ Unpopular opinion but this is the best song on conventional weapons. (Please don't attack me for it they're all masterpieces) ------------------------------------- 5. Hang 'em high ~ I feel like too many people are put off by the intro but it's such a good song when you move past that. -----------------------------------

Vampires will never hurt you ~ It's gotten so much more attention in the past than it does now and it's such a great song that I swear everyone's just forgetting about ----------------------------------- 7. Early sunsets over Monroville ~ I get that this is so different than the rest of their songs but it deserves more attention than it gets. ---------------------------------- 8. I never told you what I do for a living ~ This song. It's just so incredible, Gerard screaming I tried and the 'and we'll all dance along to the tune of your death' part. Perfection. ----------------------------------

9.Bulletproof Heart ~ OK I'll admit it's more optimistic than their other songs and probably too optimistic for a lot of the fanbase to listen to on a regular basis, but this song is incredible. -------------------------------------- 10. Demolition lovers ~ This song is gradually getting more and more popular but I don't even think this masterpiece will ever get as much attention as it deserves. Definitely one of their best songs if not the best. --------------------------------------

Today I bought a photo op for Robert Englund in August. Im super stoked! Through the years if I get extra scratch at a con I’ll commission other artist at the show to do their take on Freddy. (Sometimes folks gift me art like cliff Dawson. Killer cousin!) This all started waaaaaay back in 2008 with Rob Reilly’s “it’s a hobby” he was my neighbor at my first show at the monroville comic con. (Super cool guy) Anyways all these peeps rock!
