Hi friend! Are you working on any craftsy projects?

Yas! Just the one atm as it's a big one. I'm doing a blanket as a wedding present. I'm this far along, and have many many more rows to go.

When it's finished, it should look mostly like this:

So yeah I'm doing that. The spinning is taking a back seat, as is the sewing (sewing's tied up in the boot, waiting to escape tbh). Its kinda tedious in places (all those single crochets) but the trees are mirrors so once I've done one half the other half is easy. :)

Last film: We had a family movie night last week and watched The Prince of Egypt because my 12-year-old couldn't remember having seen it (she was probably 3 or 4 last time we watched it). She really enjoyed it!

Currently reading: for my 12yo's homeschool, we're currently reading The Sand Reckoner, which is a fictional novel about the real 3rd-century CE mathematician Archimedes, and is so far very good! We're also reading We Have No Idea: A Guide to the Unknown Universe. I just got the book Sabriel from the library and am looking forward to starting that, and I am still slooooowly reading Murder Must Advertise.

Currently watching: Only Murders in the Building and Lower Decks, and rewatching Nancy Drew.

Current obsession: Nancy Drew, all four seasons of which are now on HBO Max if anyone's been meaning to watch it but was waiting till it had all aired. 😇 (If you watch it, come yell at me about it!)

Ooh, this is a good one! I’d have to go with Abu from Aladdin. I always loved his personality. He was loyal and spunky and kind of sarcastic.

Back in the mid 90s I had the game Earthworm Jim on my Super Nintendo. There was a character in that game called Professor Monkey for a Head. My brother then started calling me Meghan Monkey for a Head. So when AOL instant messenger came around, I shortened it to monkeymeghan and it has been my screen name ever since! 🐵😊
