Some notes on the designs and choices:

Nezha's loss of his original body is a reference to his myth, wherein he was remade with lotus petals after his... er, let's say, "self-imposed death".

Macaque's right eye is indeed cybernetic, but it technically functions as prosthetic rather than a typical enhancement.

Gold and Silver Records is (obviously) owned by Jin and Yin.

And yes, Chang'e being an idol is very much inspired by Over the Moon. Great movie!
