#musings #bandit writes fic #dr1 end rewrite fic #bandit fic backlog #the backlog is pretty much just this fic now #and the monijunkan fic that i have the first chapter of written #and decided not to go back to until i finish dr2 #and may not go back to for a while because like #i'm writing oaei right now and i kind of want to finish that #i'm enjoying writing something straight through without doing a lot of other stuff?#like - pushing through when brain doesn't want to words instead of giving up and doing something else and not coming back #a n y w a y #i got the header up for chapter 21 #minus the two posted that means nineteen #minus three of the remnants chapters unwritten that means sixteen chapters in backlog #two of those chapters i plan to post close to each other because you know #the one single sentence chapter #XD #BUT YEAH #MAKING PROGRESS

Now I get to parse through how much of DR2 I want to keep.

And I think other than confirmation of a thing that I wanted to potentially use later, I don't think there's much I want to keep.

Nagito wanting to kill Junko might be useful. Might be extremely useful.

I'm still debating Alter Ego Junko. Who canonically speaking should exist. But I don't know that I want to use her in this specific fic. (I have now met her and can return to the Monijunkan fic. That could be fun.)

I feel like I need to see more of the Remnants as Remnants - like in UDG or DR3 - and I definitely need to see more of Izuru. DR2 told us he existed and gave us a tiny glimpse and then. like. nothing.

But I think honestly most of the things I have planned for OAEI can stay. I'm just getting some better development for the second fic in the duology.

finding other ddlc/danganronpa crossovers and looking back at the singular chapter of mine i have and like. it's not a bad first chapter. it's an interesting premise.
