🌵Tales of Monegros 🌵 This travel photo narrative tells the story of the Monegros desert and its haunting quality. Monegros is a county in Aragon, Spain located within the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca. Like many photographers that have been before inspired by this rural landscape, I was attracted to this region to work on its landscapes, landmarks, and little villages we find on the road. The word Monegros comes from mon (countryside) and negros (black color), however, I could find many other warm colors and tones. The photos were taken in December 2021, and though not far from there we could find snow, this desertic area is famous for its blue sky and its semiarid climate, with barely any rainfall and high temperatures. Like any other Spanish destination, it offers traditions and a religious presence. Monegros in my pop view became some curious buildings, mysterious trees, and big open sceneries. A edição de 2022 do Monegros Desert Festival sediará o “Monegros 8.6 Airlines Experience”, um palco e pista de dança construídos a partir de um Airbus A330 aposentado. No ano que vem, o Monegros Desert Festival quer que você faça isso em um avião – dance a noite toda, claro. Para a edição de 2022 do evento espanhol, os organizadores compraram um Airbus A330 aposentado e converteram a fuselagem em palco e pista de dança. “Vamos transformá-lo em um clube para 1.000 pessoas”, anunciaram este mês nas redes sociais. Alimentado por uma parceria com a 8.6 Beer, o palco “Montegros 8.6 Airlines Experience” voará oficialmente em 30 de julho de 2022. Navegando anoche por la red descubrí estas fotos de un concierto de mi grupo J. L. F. (John Landis Fans). Estas fotos pertencen a la edición del 2004 del Monegros Desert Festival, un festival que era como nuestra casa, pues tocamos un buen puñado de ediciones. La verdad es que me rememoraron grandes momentos de mi vida al lado de grandes amigos, y colaboradores. Como podreis apreciar Arturo era pura fiesta. Durante las ediciones de Monegros vivimos en primera persona numerosas anedotas propias del mejor blog sobre musica y cotilleos, quien sabe quiza un día pida permiso a mi querido amigo Juan Arnau y os contemos algunas de ellas. Muchos os preguntareis que demonios utilizabamos como equipo en ese momento, si mal no recuerdo el set list era el siguiente.
