Do you ever notice how your body has a way of telling you; to just take it one day at a time, or that your going to be okay? This is me today. This is me with no makeup on. This is me still in my PJs. This is me with another migraine. This is me-still working. This is me, fitting in some “mindset/reset” with Mel Robbins. This is me-talking with my hubby throughout the day on FaceTime while he’s in the hospital after having surgery yesterday. This is me having laundry pile up because my dryer won’t dry, and the repair technician had to reschedule from last week, but will be coming tomorrow, when my hubby probably will be coming home from the hospital. There’s always something, but it’s okay to sometimes feel overwhelmed. What if we didn’t feel overwhelmed, or feel afraid? I’m living day to day, and still working on priorities too. My body is telling me; woah 😨 you got a lot going on. But I also remember how blessed I am, at where I’m at, right now in this moment. It’s all part of my journey. It’s all meant to be. I’m making a difference! IT’S HERE! Monat Gear had a huge merch drop a few weeks ago, and I fell in love with this hoodie instantly. There have been similar designs in the past and I was just waiting for the chance to get my hands on one. Although the last thing I need is another hoodie (anyone else have an unhealthy amount of hoodies?), I had to get this. On the front it says “Show Appreciation Return Kindness” and the back has “gratitude” written in Polish, English, Spanish, and Korean in that order. Korean is one of my favorite languages, so it was a total weak spot for me. 😍 It also has “MONAT” printed three times on the left sleeve. Besides the different languages, the best part is that 100% of the proceeds from the gratitude pieces go toward the fight against racial injustice and COVID19 relief efforts. Today was Day Two of my first #monations2019 and we all had an envelope under our chair. In that envelope was a “paper” dollar that we could choose out of 3 local Ohio non-profit organizations to donate to. This will be a real dollar 💵 by my company. I noticed other real dollars 💵 were also added in the boxes. I looked through my wallet to add a few dollars to the @directionsforyouthfamilies (my choice of organization), but only had a $20, so that’s what I gave! 🙏🏼. I’ve been there when I’ve needed help, my family has needed help, and am working on “giving back”! 😉. So I enjoyed the video today that showed some of the children & families, and what Directions For Youth & Families helps. Mental, Behavioral and Emotional counseling is often provided to 95% of those families & children! There are also summer & after school programs in the underprivileged neighborhoods for the youth to take advantage of! Everyone deserves to be in music, arts, and other educational activities while in a safe environment! 🙏🏼. I am so grateful to have even helped just a small amount!
