Fic Writer ASk Game - 🎥, 🎤(for Sway and the Fireworks duology…yes, I may be considering making a fanmix for Sway), 💀 for the Molliarty Little Mermaid fic, 👀 and 😨!

🎥If you could make a movie/tv show for one of your fics which one would you chose?

The Heart of the Hand would get its own TV series, mainly because by the time I'm done with it, it'll be way too long and detailed for a movie.

🎤what songs remind you of [insert fic]?

For Fireworks, definitely "Accidentally In Love" from Shrek 2. For your fic Sway, "Ever Fallen In Love" also from Shrek 2 and "War of Hearts" by Ruelle (I'll come up with more as I re-read it, I'm sure).

💀if you had to write an alternate ending to [insert fic] how would you end it?

For The Petite Mermaid? I'd have Irene not interfere, so Molly and Jim would marry. While their marriage would have a very rough start, the fic would end with them being happy together.

👀what's a fic written by someone else that you REALLY wish you wrote yourself?

Sway, definitely. My re-read is only on chapter 3 but it's such a gorgeous fic that yeah, I wish I was even half that good at writing Khanolly.

😨 describe in FULL detail the first fic you wrote (yes I'm talking the wattpad shit we all did it).

Oh God. If I remember correctly, it was rpf about me and my friends when I was in elementary school, somewhere around 4th or 5th grade. No, I don't still have it, nor do I remember the details but I'm sure the plot was a rambling mess.

Who initiates hugs? Jim, definitely. Molly relaxes onto them but she's definitely too shy to ever initiate them.

Who wants to hold the hug longer? Molly. She doesn't say anything about it but it pains her to let go.

Who borrows the other one's phone charger? They both do. Kinda. Jim only forgets his when he WANTS to forget it and if he steals Molly's it's to annoy her, but it doesn't happen often. Molly on the other hand, regularly gets hers lost.

Who loses their keys / wallet? Molly. She loses things all the time, something she inherited from her mother. When Jim is around he points out exactly where she lost it and Molly gets mad that he didn't think to mention it as it happened.

Who's better with money? Depends on your definition of it. Jim is very good at making money so he doesn't mind spending it carelessly. Molly gets paid fairly but London is expensive, despite this she manages to make ado without having to share a flat so I'd say she's doing fine.

Who tried to hide the relationship from their parents? Well, Jim's are dead so there isn't much to hide from them, and Molly didn't exactly try to hide their relationship, merely the true nature of it.

Who's better in the kitchen? Sebastian. I know he isn't part of this relationship but this is the only right answer. Sebastian.

Who needs/gets more sleep? They both are sleep deprived, Molly's work is quite exhausting and Jim is an insomniac but he indulges in a nap every now and then, and he indulges often in waking up late. Molly doesn't, she gets shifty if she stays in bed for long in the morning.

Who's more laid back and who's more hard working? Jim is clearly the definition of "work smarter not harder", he knows how to exploit every opportunity for profit but he's relaxed about it. All the work is on his head, the rest is just seeing it in motion.

Who has more empathy? Molly. She's always been a bleeding heart but it has reached a point where it's not a virtue but a flaw. She gets too emotionally tied and too forgiving and everything just hurts her so much.

If they were to adopt a pet together, what pet would it be? I mean, they already have Toby but... Probably another cat.

Who is more outgoing? Jim but it's just for show, he doesn't actually like most people.

What is their love language? For Jim it has to be physical contact but he also enjoys quality time. For Molly it's mostly acts of service.

Are they holding any secrets from each other? Yes, many. They don't talk -REALLY talk- so there are many things they do not know about each other, and many things they consciously hide.

Which one is more likely to cheat? Both, kinda, but for different reasons. Molly would be the most likely because she wouldn't think the relationship is real or serious and so she wouldn't think of it as cheating because it's not a REAL relationship. Jim would cheat if he gains something out of it, and he isn't particularly invested in the monogamous agenda so he'd not care.

Which one first brings up the idea of having kids? Jim. He doesn't want any but he knows there's nothing Molly dislikes quite as much as the idea of ever becoming a mother and he knows Molly's mother would be delighted by the idea so he'd bring it up to have fun tormenting her.

Who sleeptalks? Neither. When Molly is really stressed she screams and cries some gibberish in her sleep but that's about it.

My Fics!

I don’t talk much about my Ao3 account here (username: Broken_souls), but I just thought about doing a re-cap of my ongoing fics. There are many that are just abandoned for the time being, even though I want to get back to them at some point. Right now, I’m mainly focused on two:

IF YOU KILLED SOMEONE FOR ME

Molly Hooper x Jim Moriarty | Sherlock BBC | 101k (currently)

TINY SUMMARY: Molly fucks up real bad.

OFICIAL SUMMARY: After a fatal accident takes place, Molly is forced to request the help of the only person she knows is able tofind in the mistakes of others a profitable business. Molly must suddenly come to terms with how life as she knew it has ended for her, allowing something bloody and violent to thrive instead.

In which Molly Hooper calls her ex-boyfriend, hoping he would get rid of someone for her.

This is more a character study and a “what if” situation more than a romantic fic since there are lots of serious themes discussed, but I am actually very proud of this one. I’m not the quickest writer, so this story has been ongoing for quite a while already but I’m decisive of completing it (even though it’s 101k already I’m not even half-way into the story). Since I often jump from one hyper-fixation to the other and forget all about my WIPs, I created a side-blog dedicate to this ship (and story) specifically to keep me focused. This work is actually a gift for a good friend of mine who is obsessed with Feyd-Rautha and asked me to write something for her. Was this supposed to be a one-shot? Yes. Will it probably end up having more than five chapters? Yes, as well. Most of the characters and lore of this fic is completely original because I don’t know much about Dune, but I ended up really invested in writing a fic about a marriage of convenience and getting to learn the culture of one’s spouse.

Yes!! Sure, Molly is this wide eyed little thing but this woman was crucial during the Reichenbach Fall. She not only broke the law to ensure Sherlock was safe but she also lied to her friends. Imagine John completely defeated and depressed after Sherlock's funeral, imagine Lestrade smoking again, imagine Mrs. Hudson breaking into a cry and Molly enduring it all while Sherlock is staying at her flat for a few days. She has the strength and the mind to endure the pain of watching others suffer knowing that it is necessary.

Completely random thought but, like,, much as I love that we all agree Molly is a sweetheart, I think people also need to remember she helped sherlock fake his death. This woman put her work and reputation on the line for the man she loves without blinking, and she'd do it again. She isn't afraind of breaking the law or at the very least bend it to her will. All of this to say that there's a dynamic for sherlock and molly that I'd like to see more often:

John and sherlock solve crimes

Sherlock and molly commit them

Listen. Listen, I love sherlolly, but I have a confession to make, it was actually molliarty the ship that got me into this fandom, and I've been thinking about them a lot recently.
