My general goals for 2025

• 📖 Read more papers related to my research. Boring, I know, but it's true I'm lazy lol and my saving grace is that what we are doing is quite novel and builds upon super old theories. Still though I want to just be familiar with the space I'm in. And I'm not gonna say something silly and say read 1 paper per day, but just some per week. I tend to do well heading to a cafe to chill, and then just getting curious and reading 3-4 papers in a sitting so I will tap into that more.

• 📚 Read books for fun, less nonfinction. I have had a habit of reading heavily on neuroscience and psychology, and I need to branch out some more. Just a few pages a week, nothing crazy.

• 🤝 Collaborate with coworkers and mentor someone! I almost declined a collaboration opportunity in December but I'm actually pleasantly surprised with it and glad I didn't. I'd love to do this more with my colleagues, and I really want to mentor someone this year, like a master's student.

• 🤐 Shut the fuck up about my goals and plans. Whatever your belief on this is, fine with me but I have a tendency to attract people that enjoy raining on my parade so to speak and I honestly just don't want ANY of those thoughts or words in my bubble. You really do become and believe what you pay attention to/what you consume!

• 💪🏽 Workout and get back to the physical things I love so much that energize me and keep me healthy. I want to get stronger and more flexible, focusing on how my body feels and how I feel. I'm excited to try some new classes and stuff, as well as getting back to my weight lifting! :D

• 🎾Engage with hobbies! I started tennis last september and signed up for another 3 months this year and I'm super excited. I also play basketball and volleyball with coworkers, do arts and crafts with my friends, and bought a little sketchbook to doodle in this year :)

• ��️ Continue my coffee/tea curiosity and explore new places around town that offer great drinks and even better vibes. I've also come a long way brewing my own coffee in a moka pot and have experimented with decaf as well as preparing my own matcha.

• 🎸 Get back into music. In undergrad, I used to make beats and play guitar almost every day which led to a soundcloud account that's now been dormant for like 5 years. I am itching to get back to what I find fun and joy in, and I've slowly been getting into it, dusting myself off lol

Some first thoughts doodles i did for the Galuna island arc for my AU!

I was thinking that Gajeel and Lucy went there first and that Juvia followed them, kind of like Gray followed team Natsu in canon.

Since Moka still seemed to hold a grudge against the moon after the truth came out, i figured he'd probably still want it gone.

Since Juvia brings rainy skies wherever she goes... and the rainclouds hide the moon... well. I think you get where I'm going. Lucy gets her key, but the squad doesnt get any money.
