Trying to feed your toddler a balanced and nutritious breakfast can be difficult. My son requests pancakes or waffles multiple times a week and both have become staple breakfast options in our house. Typically both are loaded with lots of sugar and adding syrup on top = sugar, Sugar, and more SUGAR! This past year I came across the most delicious and healthier pancake/waffle mix – @KodiakCakes Power Cakes - Flapjacks & Waffle Mix. This pancake/waffle mix is packed with 14 grams of protein and only has 3 grams of sugar per serving! You can pack even more protein in each serving by swapping milk for water (18 grams of protein per serving) and adding an egg (21 grams of protein per serving). I feel a little less guilty letting my son pour a little extra syrup atop his pancakes, knowing that he’s getting a bit more protein and less sugar compared to other pancake mixes. The one question every first-time mom asks other experienced moms, "What is your absolute must-have item for baby?" The @sollybaby wrap is hands down my must have item. It is my favorite everyday baby carrier for multiple reasons. 1. It's very compact, I can easily fit it in my diaper bag with plenty of room to spare. 2. Have you ever been at the grocery store and realized that you left your toddler's sippy cup in the car?
