okay it all depends there are so many options for what they may be in my mind. i've thought about an early 2000s "& they were roommates" sort of thing for them for awhile. i personally believe they'd adopt cats because i don't see will or mike as dog people. my projection onto them is that they would adopt a ginger cat (bonus points if it's a mainecoon). but i think they would just live in a small apartment together for the beginning of the 2000s & maybe buy a house before the market crash, but i'm sure they would keep their relationship generally quiet bc will doesn't seem like the biggest pda person. not that they actively try to hide it, & most people can probably tell something's up, but theyre not like SUPER obv yk
