This is mostly for me, but that headcanon I just posted reminded me why I get squicked out from all the PPG/RRB stuff where the boys suddenly respect the girls enough to ~love~ them. I don’t think the RRB could ever suddenly be good or be “redeemed.” Mojo was involved in the crossfire of the PPG’s creation. There wasn’t any other interference in the RRB’s creation, so there wasn’t anything that could’ve transferred any semblance of “goodness” to the boys, since they were made with such disgusting material. Like they’re essentially pure evil (and let’s not even talk about Him’s recolors added influence later on).

Sludge Be Gone! Toddler Food and Snacks

25 July update:

Fixed an issue where the Trail Mix was resetting Sims. One of its components got lost when I was merging all the objects together so it kept giving an error when trying to pull it up. It should now not happen for either the high chair or the activity table. Redownload both the MAIN and the merged Objects file

(Update: I forgot to include one of the files in the Objects file. It's just a little piece of food that toddlers pick up when eating snacks. They literally call the baby food "sludge" in the game files. EA really did TS3 toddlers dirty.

This was actually originally part of my Quickie Food and Snacks mod and I abandoned it (this seems to be a theme with me). But then I came back to it after TS4 Growing Together came out. I still haven't played that game but I know there's a preference/taste system in the game for baby food, which is really cool!

So this mod adds two interactions to the high chair to feed toddlers meals or snacks. There are 11 meals and 5 snacks. Similar to Growing Together, toddlers will love, like or hate certain foods. This preference is based on their favorite food (see more after the cut).

The foods work somewhat similar to recipes in that they require ingredients to be available. However, you only need to have at least 1 ingredient. Whatever ingredients you have will be used for the meal/snack. The icon images will tell you which 3 ingredients are required.

Teens+ can serve toddlers and they will stay and watch to make sure the toddler eats like a good little girl/boy.

There was a second complementary mod to close out this little series that would allow toddlers to eat their foods and snacks on their own on little tables but I probably won't have the time to finish testing it before I go on my summer holidays so I'll release it sometime end of next month when I'm back.

Meal/Snack recipes: Each meal or snack requires 1-3 ingredients (either in your fridge or personal inventory) to be available. Again, you only NEED 1 of 3. Some of the ingredients are from the Store or cc (Icemunmun's Baker's Basket or Hot Chili) but if you don't have it, the game will just ignore it. If you have none, it won't be available.

Food categories/preferences: Preferences are based on the toddler's favorite food and along 4 categories: Sweet, Savory, Veggie and Cheese. So based on what their favorite food is, you can tell what their food preference category is. If you change the toddler's favorite food after playing with the mod, it will adjust to their new tastes BUT will keep whatever food they liked or hated before.

Category Preferences:

Sweet hates Veggie

Veggie hates Sweet AND Savory

Savory hates Sweet

Cheese is chill and can give or take anything

i might restart my casual sunset valley gp. i found out all my sims were DROWNING instantly in pools because of a mod error. (because of competent handling of fires mod at MTS - the creator is working on a fix)

i also found a save file of sunset valley updated for all eps at MTS, so i was exploring the new town there.

hank and pauline are fun to play because they're both flirty, party animals, and fitness buffs. i'm going to try some of the new fitness mods with them. they also both keep rolling flirty wishes for other sims. drama. i don't know yet if i want them to stay together monogamously, or to both pursue their heartbreaker LTWs...

i'm not going to name the creators bc i don't want to shit on them directly but holy shit after babysitting today the difference between dream/dteam's content styles and what's apparently the standard for minecraft content... i've never seen a more scripted game of hide and seek, or such an obviously faked concept/mod, or more annoying people with zero chemistry and terrible acting.

no wonder dream's manhunts blew up. no wonder people get drawn to the authenticity in his content. that shit was DIRE.

The thing about Cellbit and Forever is: Both of them are VERY VERY AWARE of how the fuck the Federation punishes people, in case y'all forgot. The Brazilians in general are the family that suffered the MOST due to the Federation. Felps got kidnapped and frozen, Cellbit got chased with a chainsaw, and then got brainwashed for 3 days, Forever is constantly targeted (in lore) due to his ideas, and even Pac ans Mike toe the line a lot by playing around with the Federation games

They KNOW both outcomes of working against the Federation and playing along with their rules. And there's one thing they found out: they'll suffer and be fucked over either way, but playing along gives them time and information

Like it or not, playing along got Cellbit more info about how the Federation works and got him Felps back. THIS is what Cellbit wanted with the traitor arc: he wanted his best friend back and sacrificed himself for it. He knew he'd be hated and never fully trusted again, but one thing he shown was that he's LOYAL. He went to hell and back for his best friend, and it worked

And they know that being openly against the election plans just puts a target on your back, they know that if you're a candidate that very openly talks about how they hate the Federation and how they'll dissolve the President role into a council, the possibilities that said president gets kidnapped and get elquackity-fied skyrocket. But, if you play along and have actually reachable plans and ideas (mods they want to add, their ministry proposal that's basically the council but in a new coat of paint so its not as obvious) and that even if they still get kidnapped, at least something will he done

BBH, Bagz and Gegg don't have a safety net in case their plans get denied. They could work, I'll admit! But the chance they'll just get either kicked from the role or get into the Silly Sludge Pool Of Fun is way higher than the Brazilians plans

Cellbit and Forever are also VERY AWARE the Federation could just use them as puppets, Cellbit literally suffered that, but they know someone needs to do the sacrificial leap of faith, and they don't want anyone else hurt, so they'd rather put themselves in the shooting range instead
