(also, don't try and see if something on your wand will kill you if you move in a specific way, it probably will)

Noita Tip of the Day: the 'cement' spell, which conjures a single pixel of wet cement for no mana cost, also makes your wand faster, which can easily make rapid fire wands like this one

Perhaps there's something to be said about parrying melee attacks?

yes! it is hard to pull off, but if you kick within a few frames of an enemy hitting you with a melee attack, you will take no damage, and the enemy will take damage. it even works with stuff like Turso (the big purple floaty tentacly guy you find in the fungal caverns, vault, temple, etc.)

Noita Tip of the Day: a good way to win the game is to just kinda have a reasonably fast teleport wand and leave each biome immediately, then scrounge something together for kolmi. the lukki minion perk also pretty much solos the fight

I just got to the final boss of Noita by getting 2 teleport spells on a wand and just zipping through all the zones and ignoring the enemies. I was obviously woefully unprepared for said finally boss and lost, but it was pretty funny

i had the best nightmare mode run i could've ever DREAMED of

starting perks were fire immunity, projectile repulsion field, and boomerang spells (which is fine as long as you don't use explosives because it buffs the damage and projectile speed by a lot btw)

i had a fast wand with spitter bolts that could kill most enemies i came across before they could do anything

and when i got to the snowy depths

the glorious golden embrace of draught of midas welcomed me. i don't know what the seed was or what the recipe is, (probably something to do with snow) but i had amassed over 32 thousand gold. i could buy whatever my heart desired. i took perk lottery at the next holy mountain, setting up for later, and bought an even faster wand for my spitter bolts

and yet

i still fucking died. a horrific display of overconfidence and greed.
