It occurred to me recently that I've had this blog for years, but I don't think I've actually told you guys much about myself and since I'm learning so much about you guys through the matchups, I wanted to take the time to tell you about myself!

Name: Sia

Main blog: @siana-loves-you

Age: 26

Gender: Girlfux, a type of genderfluid gender, though sometimes it's easier just to say I am a demigirl

Pronouns: She/They

Sexuality: Complicated? I used to say pansexual, but now I either say demisexual bisexual or demisexual sapphic since I lean more into liking girls in real life (in fiction, I can fall in love with people of any gender though!)

Astrological Signs: Libra sun, Virgo Moon, Capricorn Rising, and Venus in Virgo.

My biggest passions: Obey Me, MBTI, astrology, and ennegram (though I'm not as educated on that last one as I am the others, but I like learning about it).

Just Brain Things: I am autistic and have ADD (aka AuDHD).

My Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff! I am proud to be counted as among the hardworking, kind, and loyal! (But seriously, fuck J.K. Rowling for being transphobic and antisemitic 😠)

MBTI: I am an INFP, meaning that my function stack is FiNeSite. This means that I lead with Introverted Feeling; I lead my life asking questions like "How does this make me feel? Does this situation/decision match up with my own values?" and overall aim to live my live focused on my own morals.

This is followed by my auxiliary trait, Extraverted iNtuition. Basically, it's very easy for to see so many scenarios and outcomes that could happen.

Together, this makes me a natural daydreamer and my daydreams help gather ideas for what to write.

Because of my autism, I feel emotions very strongly and am very sensitive, but I also care very deeply for others.

I grew up in a very turbulent household so daydreaming up stories is something I've been doing for year. I've never been one who wants a perfect life, just someone who wants all of my struggles to be worth it which is probably why I write so much angst with a happy ending!

I am some who struggles to learn some things, but am always happy when I do! I especially love learning about people because I feel like if I understand them more, they'll be willing to understand me and then I can interact with them better.

I have two furbabies, a dog named Elsa Mae who is 8.5 years olds (and I adopted when she was 1.5 years old from a shelter) and cat named Beanie who I think is about 5 years old (he's a stray who chose me so now I feed him and let him crash at my place till he decides he wants to go back outside lol)

Hey there! I have a character who has a handful of different chronic illnesses and disabilities that would affect her energy levels and physical abilities on a day-to-day basis like CFS. The story she’s in would require her to be fighting and doing physical things sometimes. Is this too contradictory? I share lots of the conditions with this character and know that it really depends on the day, and for me some days I’m able to do a lot more than others. I know everyone has varying degrees of these conditions however, and don’t want to invalidate others and their experiences by representing an experience they might find inaccurate. I don’t want this to sound like I think we’re incapable of physical things at times, just worried how it may affect others. Thank you for all the work you do!

You're allowed to do whatever you want with your own disability in fiction. Chronic fatigue syndrome has a wide range of symptoms and those symptoms vary a lot from person to person. Don't try to represent all people with chronic fatigue syndrome in one character, just find a way the symptoms might present- such as the way they present in you- and represent that. Like Dakota Fanning in Please Stand By, playing Wendy. She wasn't trying to portray every single autistic person ever, she was just trying to portray Wendy, one particular autistic woman, leading to a far better character than a character like Music from Sia's Music, who was meant to represent autism, not an autistic character, and thus was far more of a caricature. Don't represent chronic fatigue syndrome, represent Character who has chronic fatigue syndrome. Don't try to encapsulate everyone's experience, just write a certain experience that someone with CFS could have.

And yes, people with chronic fatigue syndrome can fight and do other physical stuff. And sometimes the aftermath isn't great, if we overdo it we could be laid out the next day, but some of us can do it. I have CFS and I used to run cross country- did it lay me out the day after the five-kilometre race? Yeah, usually. But with training, patience, the knowledge of how to listen to my body to avoid hurting myself, and not doing the race when I physically couldn't that day, I could on some days. It's entirely believable that she might be able to fight and run one day and barely get out of bed the next day. Sometimes we are incapable of some things, that's okay. Some of us might be incapable of those things even on a good day because they have different symptoms, that's okay. It's okay to portray those things.

And, of course, it's okay to represent your own disability the way you experience it.

In light of that previous post (and thank you @archduke-enver-gortash for the honor) I feel I need to apologize. I’m so wrong about Woljif. Like on my own planet. For the fic writer who probably floods his tag the most that’s kind of bad and it’s crazy to me that no one’s sent me testy anons (yet). (btw please don’t I’m sensitive.) In my defense I do try to stay true to the essential Woljifness I love so much but:

In my head and now in a LOT of comms he’s blue. Entirely my fault. In his game portrait my boy is very definitely purple.

I had in my mind for a long time that his Cha was 8. Had to reload the game to check and it’s 10. Did my boy dirty.

Also for a long time I thought the outcome of his final quest depended on dialogue choices throughout the previous acts but was wrong about that. It only depends on choices during the final quest itself. (That would have been cool though. And also potentially frustrating.)

In the game he’s Calistrian but in my head he doesn’t think about the gods much at all except to feel ignored by them, and in my fic he attracts the attention of Shelyn, which somewhat corresponds with the Romance Mod at least.

My hc Woljif is not a virgin even though that’s apparently canon, based on one dialogue with evil!Arue.

It did finally dawn on me that my hc Woljif is demi. I hc’ed that he had some sub-par experiences before Sia and wasn’t really into it. Sia just hit all the right buttons.

My hc Woljif is a teetotaler which also contradicts canon.

Anyway I love him dearly in all his various forms in all his various universes and I hope the fandom forgives me for it & also for flooding his tag

——Intentionally provocative discussion question here: did Alex want to be with Alexa or be Alexa? // I always thought that out of all his gfs Alexa was the one he admired, like when he said he was honoured that she asked him to move to New York with her it felt true to me. I don't doubt they had their problems and he probably put her on a pedestal, but it always seemed like he admired her and sort of recognized her agency in a way? Like with the MTV thing and knowing she could have this exciting career and glamorous life in New York with or without him. There's something about the song Secret Door that's hard to describe exactly, but it's just like he's so in awe of the girl in the song (who I think is Alexa) and how confident she is and how she's able to deal with being famous and laugh about it. It's like she's everything he's not and he's so charmed by that he would follow her anywhere. I think it's a combination of both in some ways, like he obviously wanted to date her, but she's loomed so large in his work and the way he's written about her as kind of an aspirational and powerful figure makes me feel like on some level he sort of wished he were more like her?

1. It’s cool, situation wasn’t out of control or anything since they kept to anon asks and therefore I could easily delete their threats.

2. I don’t think Medkit needs a rework, I personally think he needs to be buffed. His healing specifically. I get he’s probably meant to be team-reliant, but he overall does worse than Vine in terms of healing regardless of the player’s skill level, simply because he can’t heal himself enough with head shots to stay alive.
