You’re right! I’m neither of those things! It isn’t my responsibility to do this! But you know what? I’m doing it anyway. I want to keep people safe. I want to keep kids safe from these predators who have been able to get away with this for so long. These people have been defended for years. I made this blog in an effort to put a stop to that and to get information out there. I can’t make anyone do anything, and whether or not they listen is their own decision. Or is this all, as usual, going to remain Internet arm flailing where no real steps are taken to do something about an alleged (obvious) predator? The people sitting on deets that just wallpost on Tumblr all day are one of the more obnoxious parts about shit like this... Someone with a serious foot in this needs to actually DO something.

Yes we have sent in reports. Stopscammingartists have sent a tip to the fbi, too. We use this blog to spread the info and that's it. You have no idea what we've done behind the scenes. There was no need for this passive aggressive ask. ~J

what's gonna happen to you and stopscammingartists if floraverse truly goes under now? i figure you guys are gonna keep watch until this dies down, see if eevee turns tail and runs too, but what then? let the blogs rest as an archive? switch focus to other popular scumbag artists? genuinely curious here. either way, you guys have done really good work, and you should be proud of what you've accomplished. love, a devotee to the cause.

It’ll most likely be an archive. This blog was created in order to call attention to how horrible these people were and to keep people (especially minors) safe. Once we feel that’s been accomplished then we’ll rest. I’m not proud of the pain we’ve caused amongst fans/friends of Glip’s and victims who’ve had to relive their experiences, but we are proud that at least something has come of it. I hope now this will finally be over. This blog is a huge source of stress for a lot of reasons, and I can’t imagine how the victims of Glip’s might be feeling right about now. My heart goes out to all of them. ~J

Not that I know of, no. I just remember there being drama because minors would go to that tumblr to seek out sex advice and it just felt creepy. ~J

I just found out an artist I follow who is Glip's supporter did not acknowledge the logs at all and just decided to delete their tumblr because "it is a dangerous place for queer artists". Are people really going to look the other way just because Glip is queer??? Well, I'm disafuckingpointed with social justice.

I think I know who you're talking about. If the name starts with an N and they said those words specifically, I saw that their girlfriend came out and said they will be taking a hiatus to process this information. It could just be that they didn't want to believe this as Glip was a close friend. ~J

My heart goes out to you guys. My friends and I have been calling out an eerily similar individual and have ran into the same halfassed mind numbing excuses from defenders of that person. But what hurts the most is that most of the defenders are kids or predators. It’s always either-or. It’s exhausting. Keep up the good work you guys.

It’s never easy to accept that someone you may have trusted or looked up to has done something despicable. I try to sympathize with them there. ~J

Valerie Halla is creator of the webcomic http://goodbyetohalos.com/ and was a close friend of Glip’s (and was even quoted in the 40+ page doc Eevee sent us a while back). She was a very vocal defender of Glip. ~J
