                 And it wasn't like Luca was going to try anything. The only way that would happen would be if she started it. He treated woman much differently than he treated men. Woman actually got respect from him. The jaguar stretched out behind him and gave a pleased mm as his back popped in all the right places. "Nah, it's not far." He answered as he glanced down at her. "Are you tired already?" He teased. "I could always give you a piggy back ride." Considering he's noticed that she was the type that liked when others did things for her.

                      ★ ; Hmm…Maybe that was why she had headaches so often—wait no, don’t over think things again Adina, goodness. Okay, back to listening to what the other was saying. “Okay, sure.” The nephelim merely shrugged, it wasn’t like bathing suits and undergarments were all that different anyway and it wasn’t as if she was a thirteen year old girl, she’s had plenty of sex to feel comfortable borrowing other’s clothes. “Is your apartment far from here?”

                 Can't fool a beast. His golden eyes were trained and he loved calling others out. Probably why he only has like one friend and a tormentor. "Stop thinking so much. I'm surprised your head isn't killing you." He said as he turned on his heels and motioned for her to follow him. "I'm sure you're wearing something under your clothes, and you can borrow something of mine while they're drying after we're done." Water was his safe haven, excuse him.

                      ★ ; Adina visibly blanched, not used to being called out on her bullshit so easily. However, she relaxed after a moment, tilting her head to the side in a thinking manner. “Well…I don’t really have anything to swim in.” Though there was the option of wearing her underwear—which she didn’t mind doing except for the fact that she wouldn’t have anything to change into. “But we can go anyway.”

                 "You're really bad at hiding what you're feeling." Luca chuckled as he leaned back on his heels. Buttons could be cute, and if they couldn't then that's just to bad. "Or we could head to the pool that my apartment has." It was a roof top pool, hopefully she wasn't afraid of heights.

                      ★ ; “Oh..Thanks.” Adina never really understood the cute as a button saying, because buttons were inanimate objects used for clothing; but in a sense they were cute..maybe. “The beach?” Ew, sand and children and old people wearing too much tanning oil—“Sure!” Why did she say that? Oh well, too late to take it back now.

                 Luca chuckled as she straightened her clothes and fixed her hair. "Oh, don't try and fix yourself up, dear. You're as cute as a button already." He smiled. The feline showed her his towel. "Want to head down to the beach with me?"

                      ★ ; Adina quickly whipped her head around at the voice, raising her eyebrows with recognition. “Oh! Hi!” She then put on a show of straightening out her clothes and fixing her hair. “You caught me off duty.”

                 "You are nothing to me. You're just some sick old bastard that doesn't know his place with something much stronger than him." Luca spat in the others direction. Yeah, Luca you were no match for Kaname with the control he had over you. He mind as well be your master. The feline could be such a liar because he knew that he could never lay a hand on Kaname nor could he deny him of anything. The boy was hopelessly..caught in this man's web. "You don't need to do anything with me because I am perfectly fine just the way I am." He tried to swat the other man away but it wasn't working. "Just go away you asshole." he mumbled. If Kaname hadn't caught his arm then the feline would have made a run for it. "..no, I don't wanna go." He mumbled childishly as he tried to pull his arm away.

        Kaname let out a click of his tongue, chuckling and leaning into his raised arm, hip cocking and ankles crossed. Oh how he’d missed this. Luca was very clearly still under Kaname’s poisonous spell even after this long, reluctant as the feline might be to realize it. But that’s only natural. Kaname had spent a long time stock piling ring after constricting ring around Luca’s soul, something he was quite proud of and unashamed to admit. At Luca’s quiet words, Kaname simply hummed delightedly, the smooth sound rumbling up his well defined chest. “You’re right, I’m much more than that to you. And it seems to me…” He lifted his other hand, softly tap tapping Luca under the chin with his box of pocky. “That I need to re-educate you in that, and many other matters, yes?” Kaname’s smile is pleasant and sweet as can be, but there’s a quick moment, when he stares down at Luca, that his emerald pools flash with nasty intent, promising with his eyes that there are dark times to come. 

“Now~!” he suddenly reels back from Luca, capturing the boy’s arm to make sure he doesn’t run off. “Let’s go, okay? It’s a nice night for a friendly stroll~“

                 Oh look the lady cop was kicking rocks so Luca took it upon himself to stepped forward and use her shortness as a leaning post. "Oh, look what we have here~!"

                      ★ ; She’s suddenly wondering where everyone went, the streets were dead and there was only three kids at the park. Maybe people actually had stuff to do. So for now, she’ll just sigh and kick at a rock.

                 Luca was shaking like a leaf. He was terrified, and upset. He never wanted to see Kaname again and he was ashamed that this man had trained his body to respond to him..even now it wanted this cruel man's touch. He was sick to his stomach. "--..you're hardly an old friend." He muttered but flinched once the man cast a shadow over him clearly showing the feline he was boss and who was still in charge. Luca felt like a small mouse in the eyes of a hungry snake. He was locked in and he had no where to go, Kaname wasn't going to let him escape that easily and if he wanted something then he was definitely going to get it. The blond slowly turned around and pressed his back tightly against the glass of the coolers, keeping his eyes down. "--..there's a reason why we haven't seen each other in years.." He mumbled softly.

        The grin that etched its way across the taller man’s face was particularly sinister in nature. Kaname didn’t move a muscle, nor would he plan to until the correct time. He hummed lightly, casually, from behind Luca, seemingly innocent in appearance alone. “Now, now, that’s no way to treat an old friend~ Kittens should learn to behave,” he whispered, bending slightly so that his frame cast a threatening shadow over Luca, one hand coming up to press solidly against the cooler door, barricading him. Kaname’s smile was kept, expression never changing. “Come on, turn around, will you? I just want to have a chat~ We haven’t seen each other in years, after all.“

                 Luca was out and about because he couldn't sleep. He was having the same reoccurring nightmare, one that he hadn't had in a very long time. He didn't even want to think about it because it hurt too badly, sometimes memories were far worse than any nightmare your subconscious could come up with. The jaguar always came to this counter store when he was feeling restless and never thought that he would see any unwanted faces here. Luca had just been about to open the cooler when he felt body heat closing in on him but what really closed the deal was the voice. No, couldn't be.. The feline slowly glanced over his shoulder to be met with the man that he had run away from without so much of a word..so long ago. Instantly his legs became weak and he had to tighten his grip on the cooler so he wouldn't tumble. "..go away." It was quiet, and stuttered. He was shaking all over.

        “How ridiculous. A single box of pocky should not cost this much,” the man mused to himself, hooded green hues flicking over the different boxes, fleeting and bored. Despite his words, Kaname picked up a pack anyway, turning it in his hand as he sauntered down the long isle. Nearing the end, a flash of golden blonde was caught in his peripheral, causing him to stop. There, by the drink coolers…Aaahh, what luck. Kaname hadn’t expected to see a certain kitty cat’s face in here of all places, or at all, really. It would be horrid of him to pass up the chance to reunite~. Lips curled upwards and eyes narrowed, looking very much like the devil himself as he slid up to the distracted man, coming up right behind him. His chest nearly bumped into the other’s back. “Hmm~ If it were me, I’d choose the watermelon flavor.”
