I read the book and he's talking about how he wouldn't mind sleeping with someone but the word "boyfriend" is no better than "girlfriend"

There was a lot of other plot happening, but they still took a moment to have him google "am I aromantic" and look at that before actually solving the problem

my aro spec experience is not liking the words “queer platonic relationship” because i feel like it’s a case of humanity trying to put a labeless experience in a label, and thus, a closed box.. but finding nobody in any of my circles that understands how i feel :<

i just feel like what everyone describes a qpr as is so varied, that it’s inherently like. not something that should be labeled. it’s something so complex that trying to put a label to it suggests it can be made easily consumable to allos/allocishets

alas if i see takes like this it’s always treated negatively or be like “well qpr doesn’t have a set definition so it still counts lol! :)” as if that. wasn’t what i was getting at. urrggghhhhh

About a sweep ago, I thought my friend might be a mutantblood (not like I'd turn them in or anything) and I'd been trying to subtly drop hints that I'm supportive but they just wouldn't get it - so I asked their partner (<3<) and they ended up getting culled???

I thought of an alternate discovery for the cat au: cross is lying all curled up against killer in his bed, getting pet and just generally feeling all cosy and content and drifts off for a little nap. Except when he wakes up it's morning, the sun is coming in through the window and he kinda takes a minute to wake up from such a good sleep ...and realises he's back to his regular skeleton self but still cuddled up on killer. He immediately starts to panic trying to figure out how to sneak out without being caught in nightmare's castle, but as he lifts his head to look for the door he sees killer is already awake and staring at him. Good luck explaining this one cross lol

OH MY GOD!

I've been meaning to answer this ask for a while now!

Ok hear me out!

Killer woke up first, not minding much the extra body on his bed, he figured it was probably Dust who had his occasional night terrors and slipped into his, Nightmare's or Horror's bed, but then he actually opens his eyes and gets ready to greet his dusty bunny when he stops on his tracks, his eyes wide in a mix of horror, confusion, delight and disbelief.

He pinches himself at least 3 times to make sure he's actually awake, and even then, he doesn't quite believe that himself.

He spends a good half an hour there staring in disbelief, even going as far as carefully moving Cross's face to check if the scar is actually there or not!

He stares a little longer until Cross finally opens his eyes and looks at him, seemingly just as confused and shocked.

It is then, when he lifts his head, that Killer notices a very familiar collar on his neck~
