in my feelings about monsters and mommies au morgan and how i only ever make her deeply depressed, so heres some (genuinely) cute/fun facts about her rather than the constant angst i give her:

though not a musician herself, she practically grew up at concerts and considers music her main interest

related: her dream job is being the owner of her own record store!

at the start of mnmoms au, she is an overnight stocking manager at a grocery store. however, after the timeline jump to the foster timeline - she has her dream job! shes the main breadwinner of their family with her own record/general music store.

she/they not necessarily in a non-binary way, but not quite a cis way either. she's always had a pretty loose grasp on gender, and after nick comes out as trans, she realizes that she doesn't really care about being seen as strictly a woman. she just also doesn't care enough to think deeper on it LOL

she is the ONLY MOM to know who the omega daddies are at first. this doesn't sound like a fun fact, but it is actually pretty funny for morgan and bill to be pointing at each other like "why are YOU here?!" while the other moms are like "...? morgan who are these strange men who kidnapped our kids?"

since she loves the color blue, nick (and nicholas in the foster timeline!) buys her any blue jewelry and clothing he finds and can afford. because of this, morgan has a generally younger fashion style than the other moms, because she likes wearing the clothes her son buys her/points out to her in stores

as the AU season 1 goes on, morgan loosens up a lot and the other moms learn that she is actually capable of being pretty silly. she likes dancing a lot, she sings off-key to any song that she knows, she's a big fan of stupid puns and disney jokes. shocker shocker, local woman is capable of being a normal human being when given the chance!

her favorite holiday is new years, tied between western new years and chinese new year! she just likes the idea of fresh starts, being with family, and the bright celebrations

she met glenn at a casual music competition held at a local bar, where he won against her boyfriend at the time. when she tells this story, people always ask, "oh, and he impressed you so you broke up with your boyfriend?" and she cheerfully responds with, "no, i tried to break his nose to defend my boyfriend's honor! we ended up dating later on."

she has a weird hate crush on erin o'neil, where she's utterly head-over-heels for her but can only express it by pissing erin off. everyone hates it except for morgan, but after hearing the glenn story, it makes a lot more sense

post-season 1, she gets really into messing with jodie. she finds the way he gets riled up funny and also kind of adorable.

(she's utterly unaware of it, and jodie would never say it, but jodie's original morgan was the same way so he finds it comforting whenever he snaps at her and she just starts laughing at him. he always found it genuinely annoying with his morgan, and it was definitely a splinter in their relationship, but he struggles more with finding offense with it now that she's gone. (whoops sorry i said these weren't gonna be sad))

post-timeline jump, nicholas is the absolute center of morgan's world. he's her favorite person to be around, she will drop everything if he needs her or just wants to hear her voice, and while his high anxiety can set her own anxiety off, she never finds it hard to reassure him. and luckily for morgan, he's a total mama's boy and clings to her just as hard, even if the sudden shift in his mom's personality confuses him

shes pretty close with the other kiddads, especially sparrow and grant since theyre close friends with nicholas post-season 1. shes perpetually confused by why, but the kids all think shes the coolest mom on earth and are very happy to tell her so (its because she's been to jail.)

odyssey-san my beloved <3 she has the same role as she does in canon: she's darryl's beloved beast. carol does not particularly like driving her because carol prefers sedans, but in this au, darryl was sick the day of the soccer trip so carol took the day off work so she could drive the kids instead! and so, naturally, carol's sedan was not big enough for five kids and four adults lol so they took the odyssey

in mnmoms, the one who talks to odyssey-san is samantha! samantha is quietly reeeally into magical girls and anime in general, she loves pokemon, and so she knows some basic japanese and mostly goes "arigato!!!" to odyssey-san whenever she steps out of the vehicle. odyssey-san absolutely adores her, theyre besties, no morgan isnt jealous of a car that would be insane (yes she is.)

and obviously, isadora, you came up with this XD but samantha tries sooo so hard to teach odyssey-san english, but samantha. is not a language teacher. really just has no comprehension on how to teach anyone a language, much less a car that speaks a language she barely understands. samantha gets way too technical and specific, and mercedes stands in the background going "hey, sammy, maybe instead of teaching the car in-depth grammar, we should start with hello or maybe mom?" carol just thinks odyssey-san needs to know "go" and "stop". morgan is actively ignoring everything going on and is lacing her arrows with poison in the backseat in case someone approaches them while they're confusing the car with three different moms talking over each other

It was strange, settling into a world where she had a husband again. Morgan wasn’t sure how to feel about it. Jodie wasn’t hard to like, all absent-minded smiles and dumb jokes and protective arms wrapped around Nicholas, but he wasn’t easy to love either. It wasn’t easy to love anyone besides her son. Morgan didn’t think she was programmed for it anymore.

Morgan was married to Jodie, but they weren’t romantically involved. She was pretty sure he loved her, even if she wasn’t his Morgan. He wouldn’t say it, and she definitely wouldn’t ask, but it was obvious in the way he would tie her hair back for her in the mornings. His hands were careful, running his own hairbrush through her hair before he gathered the strands together in an elastic. The movements were well-practiced and gentle in a way that made Morgan’s chest ache.

She knew his Morgan had had short hair. She used to have short hair herself, knew that after Glenn’s death and before her time in Meth Bay Supermax, she never would have even considered the length she wore now. She tried not to wonder what had happened to Jodie’s Morgan that had caused her to chop her own hair off, tried to focus on the mental image of Jodie brushing the hair of a much younger Nicholas instead.

Glenn had always done the same for Nick, had done the same for Morgan when he was still alive. She felt her throat grow tight as careful hands pulled her hair into a low ponytail, then brushed it over her shoulder so it tumbled down her front.

“There you go,” Jodie said, the words rumbling against her back where Jodie’s chest brushed against it. Morgan hadn’t been strong enough to ward off any of Jodie’s touchiness. It was nice in a way that took her off guard, comforting. His hand rested on her shoulder and she could feel the metal of his wedding ring through the thin material of her sleep shirt. “All ready for the day. Well, once you get dressed I guess.”

He laughed, his throat still rough from sleep, and before she knew what she was doing, Morgan turned back and kissed Jodie. He stiffened under the soft touch, his hand sliding down her arm, and she leaned further into him even as her brain caught up with her actions.

She didn’t love Jodie, she wasn’t involved with him like that. They had established that as fact when they first met face-to-face outside that portal in the Forgotten Realms while the other moms had tearful reunions with their own husbands. But it didn’t feel wrong to kiss Jodie in this moment, didn’t feel wrong as he began to kiss her back. It wasn’t the first time they had kissed, but it was the first time it felt so natural. Usually, it was Jodie absent-mindedly kissing her before stammering out an apology, not Morgan turning on instinct and pulling him the way she only had done with Glenn before.

At the thought of her original husband, Morgan finally jolted back, eyes flying open. Jodie pulled away a little slower, blinking a few times and letting out a soft noise.

She was growing a little bit obsessed with the little noises Jodie made. She was used to the annoyed grumbles he let out when she was poking at him, but she hadn’t heard this one before. It made a shiver run down her spine.

“Uh,” Morgan said, eloquent as ever, and a small smile tugged on the corners of Jodie’s lips. “Thank you. For the hair.”

“Right,” Jodie replied before he cleared his throat. Morgan was astonished by the way she missed the roughness when he continued, “any time, Morg.”

The hope on his face made her heart twinge, not quite pained but some sort of pressure pushing down on her chest. She swallowed down the lump in her throat and nodded, returning his smile without another word.

HIII LEX!! oogh. relationships between the moms and their kids... i think ive mostly only talked about morgan and nick/nicholas, on tumblr at least, so i can definitely get more into that :D

morgan and nick... well-trod ground. morgan is severely paranoid and over-protective of nick, while nick is severely clingy but also has to pick a fight with everything she say, etc etc. i havent spoken as much about morgan's relationship with nicholas i dont think beyond establishing that she loves him and that hes a total mama's boy gbhjfdhjbj so i can talk about that!! though shes more well-managed by the time he is present, morgan is still very protective of nicholas, helped by the fact that he is the most high-strung kid on the planet. hes very jumpy whenever jodie isnt around, seeing him as his main source of safety, and hes also like... pretty aware of morgan's conflicted feelings on him? nicholas is exactly what morgan always wanted nick to be, well-behaved and careful, and it just makes her so much more aware of everything she lost. nicholas knows he is loved, and morgan does love nicholas, but hes also very aware of... well, his mom is different to him now, too. he can understand that he is just as foreign to her, hes a smart kid. they love each other very much, and honestly, morgan's relationship with nicholas is a lot healthier than it was with nick, but theyre both overly aware of the elephant in the room.

carol and grant probably have the most consistently positive mother/son relationship throughout the entirety of mnmoms, besides mercedes and lark at least! however, this... isnt for good reasons LMAO. pre-forgotten realms, carol generally wasnt home much, preferring to work herself to death at her office job. so grant literally prefers her to darryl just because she was never the one around to get mad at, she was never trying to talk to him, he didnt have to worry about helping her with chores because she didnt do housework, etc. they love each other very much, but once they get to the forgotten realms, carol becomes very aware that she cannot remember the last time she had a proper conversation with her son. just, no comprehension of whats going on in his life at the moment. its BAD, yall, but the two never really question their love for each other, which cant be said for all the kids. ive talked about this before, but they do have a plot of bonding over their sexuality journeys, carol works really harden to soften her sharp edges for her son and to be more present in his life, and they come out of the forgotten realms in a much better place than they went in! (though, take this with a grain of salt, because its definitely the same way that darryl and grant came out better in canon. this does not mean that they werent both traumatized LOL)

samantha and terry junior... start off the worst, for sure :') i have talked about their relationship before but it was part of a longer ramble about sammy, so i will reiterate it here! samantha has a bad habit of going therapy mode on terry junior and he is very aware of it. she is of the opinion that she should not put her emotions on her son at all, because she is his mother and thats not his responsibility (which actually stems a lot from samantha's relationship with her own mom but i think im gonna get into that more for isadora's ask--). however, terry takes her facade of calm as her being utterly in denial about terry senior dying at all, and he cant understand why she wont even show that shes upset. this already puts their relationship in a tenuous space over a few years, and when samantha starts dating and then marries ron, terry's trust in her is. utterly obliterated. at the end of their time in the forgotten realms, like with ron, they arguably have the best relationship though! samantha learns how to show her emotions without having terry junior feel obligated to help her and does her best to be more vulnerable with him in general, and terry junior learns how to accept that his mom is allowed to have a life beyond his biological dad. they make me so fjhbghjbghj <3333

and okay. right. finally. haunted expression. mercedes and the twins.

firstly, mercedes and lark. consistently a good relationship! they have the typical oak-garcia issue of lark running all over her, not really treating her as an authority figure, but its obvious that he absolutely adores her and that she adores him in turn. this is helped by the fact that mercedes is definitely the "fun" parent - glenn parallels, lol - so she has even less control over the twins than henry did, mostly because she never thinks to exert any. still, even though lark and sparrow are absolute agents of chaos, they love their mom and lark never stops loving their mom. by the end of their journey, he's a little more distant from mercedes out of guilt, mostly. lark is still the one to stab henry in this au without any of the deep rooted rogue card anger to validate it for himself, and he has a very hard time looking either of his parents in the eye afterwards. however, he also considers them both his main source of comfort, and tends to trail them quietly around the house when hes upset.

mercedes and sparrow. haunted expression intensifies. "Is there anything as undoing as a daughter?" sorry for quoting arcane but LITERALLY MERCEDES QUOTE OF ALL TIME. it starts... the same as mercedes and lark: no sense of authority, but very positive emotions! sparrow is not out as transfem at the beginning of their journey, its still something she is working out throughout their time in the forgotten realms (she very much has a moment of like... "i'm in a new place where nobody knows me, so i'm going to pretend to be a girl and see how many people are fooled! that's a very normal thing for boys to do!" and lark plays along lol), and a lot of their time pre-rogue card is dedicated to that! mercedes and sparrow bond a lot as sparrow warms up to the idea of coming out as trans, and mercedes. well. mercedes already knew before going into the realms and has been reading a million different pamphlets and consulting advice columns and talking to morgan on how to perfectly handle this situation LOL. so their relationship is kind of perfect, actually, and they are doing really really well until the deck of many things comes into play :')

post deck of many things, sparrow is... very openly Not A Fan Of Mercedes. she is still the upbeat positive lovewolf twin in this (though i think she more wants to generally be a witch than a lovewolf, since her mama's a bard and not a druid!), so it is even more obvious when sparrow suddenly is not giving mercedes the time of day. sparrow is utterly convinced that she is destined for greater things in a very negative way, and blames her discovery of this on mercedes getting them stuck in the forgotten realms. she also, similar to lark in canon, blames the moms as a whole for the fact that walter was hurt and sees them widely as useless. mercedes, for her part, does everything she can to redeem herself to sparrow, and is endlessly frustrated by the fact that nothing she does works. post-forgotten realms, they argue pretty relentlessly, sparrow locks herself in her room and screams herself hoarse, mercedes storms out into the back garden and cries until she gets a migraine, and henry takes lark out for ice cream-- despite this, sparrow does still seek out a lot of comfort from mercedes, and she has a habit of casually finding herself, at night, in wolf form and curled up at the foot of her parents' bed. strange and so weird how she ends up specifically sprawled out across her mom's feet at least once a week, if not fully laying between her parents. crazy. what a coincidence. shes a fully independent child with no need for comfort for sure though

TALK TO ME ABOUT MNMOMS ANY TOPIC YOU WANT GO GO GOOOO 🥳

Okay I’m on mobile now because I’m sleepy but OOGH. HAD TO THINK ABOUT THIS ONE. I’ve realized I’ve really neglected talking about a very important aspect of dungeons and daddies in regards to this au: The generational trauma 🎉🎊 aka each moms’ relationship with her own mother! (And parents in general lol)

First, the easiest one - Mercedes has a very genuinely good relationship with her parents. She has a healthy loving relationship with both of them. The generational trauma for the Oak-Garcias is still very Oak-heavy in this AU, which you know Isadora because you were the one who talked with me when I was originally figuring things out :D Mercedes’ issues stem a lot more from not knowing how to handle her husband’s family and being really overwhelmed and genuinely disgusted with the lifestyle that Henry comes from (obviously not held against him, but it does very much change how she views him and how views her children. She always thought the twins took more after her until she saw the same facial features so many times in Oakvale)

Morgan has the worst relationship on paper with her parents but it’s also a pretty simple situation. She was disowned for marrying Glenn. When her parents tried to come back into her life after his death, she refused to return contact. She always disagreed with them growing up and saw them as unsupportive, so while she feels guilt that she’s left Nick with no real grandparents, she still stands by that she did the right thing. For the Foster timeline, Jodie’s Morgan cut her parents off as well, but I’m still trying to figure out why lol. I’m not entirely sure Morgan would ever think to ask

Samantha has a complicated relationship with her mom. Growing up, Samantha’s mom was fairly lonely and as a result, she treated Samantha as a friend more than she did a daughter. She put her problems onto Samantha from a young age and while she didn’t expect her preteen daughter to be able to help at all, she still overstepped appropriate boundaries quite a bit in that regard. This led to Sammy often feeling helpless and like her mom was going through too much for Samantha to ever bring her own issues to her mom as well, since she didn’t want to be a burden. Once she was older, Samantha realized how inappropriate it was that she was being saddled with adult issues before she was even 15 and while it did shape her life in some positive ways - Samantha does credit her interest in therapy to wanting to help her mom - she also recognizes that it puts a huge strain on her relationship with her mom. This is why she’s so closed off with her son when it comes to emotional issues: she never wants to put Terry Junior in that same position of having to care for his mother as a child.

Carol is uh. Carol um. Hm!! Carol.

Carol has had a bad relationship with her mom her entire life. She pointedly spent most of her time at Darryl’s house throughout her childhood and teenage years, she never really starts conversations with her mom or dad, and whenever she’s asked about her parents, she always thinks of the Wilsons before her biological parents. However, Carol does not like recognizing this as true because that would require analyzing why she dislikes her mom, and that would require her addressing the fact that she hates the life she was raised to live. Her parents were very traditional, just like the Wilsons, and Carol was raised to be a good Catholic wife to her good Catholic husband. She gets a lot of shit from her parents for being the breadwinner while Darryl stays at home, something that bothers her to no end because she is very defensive of Darryl, and she feels incredibly stifled by the concept that she has to be this meek heterosexual woman with a nuclear family and a white picket fence. However, pre-Forgotten Realms, she never really lets herself explore this past “I want a career”, and she’s also deeply in denial about there being an issue at all. I have this like, general plan for a battleaxe that they get at some point where the worst the wielder’s relationship is with your parents, the more powerful it is, and uh. Needless to say. Carol is the one who owns it LMAO it absolutely mortifies her but it’s one of the first steps towards her admitting she’s unhappy with her life

mnmoms au nicky thoughts... not sure what to ask specifically, what are nicky's relationships with all the other kids like? Or Nicky's thoughts on Jodie and Glenn?

nicky nicky nicky nicky nicky <333 i can talk about his relationship with the other kids, thats a good question!!

id say... not terribly different, though nicky stays as nicholas for. much longer than he does in canon hbfghjfdbhgbd so the other kids see him very much as a narc and a goody-two-shoes, but also as their dumb anxious friend whos really good with a gun.

for lark - theyre the least close of all of the kids (i know, wild coming from me), but this doesnt mean theyre not friends. nicholas teaches lark how to shoot a gun and generally encourages lark's doomsday prepper ways, lol. when things do eventually come to a head and nicholas learns hes a demon, lark is always on hand for nicky having an identity crisis and provides a level of understanding from his own experience with learning about oakvale and where his dad came from.

for terry - childhood best friends <3 pre-realms, for both nick and nicholas, terry was his best friend. he wasnt TERRYS best friend, but that was fine by him, he just adored being around terry. since morgan and samantha are best friends, nicholas and terry were paired up a lot throughout their childhoods and they get along really well!

for grant and sparrow - these two are bundled together because they form a little best friends forever trio post-realms. they get on like a house on fire. grant enjoys riling nicholas up, nicholas is in love with sparrow, and sparrow thinks grant is the funniest person she knows. huh? what was that thing about nicholas? nevermind. point is, these three of very close friends, and theyre almost always found together. they travel like pack animals LMAO

I am begging you to tell me about mnmoms Morgan 🙏

i feel like ive talked a LOT about morgan specifically for this au, she is my main blorbo and punching bag forever <3 and as much as i love to beat a dead horse, theres only so many times i can talk about her fridged wife montages about glenn. so, i figured id specifically talk about an aspect of morgan ive been thinking about lately - her relationship with samantha! the besties of all time :]

morgan and samantha are the only moms who are friends pre-forgotten realms, and they are in fact, best friends! samantha has had a long history of latching onto morgan because she is meta levels of aware of their parallel backstories and she desperately wants morgan to get therapy about it. morgan is not having it in the slightest, but she does really love samantha so she lets her get away with it. samantha is actually why morgan is on the soccer carpool at all, since samantha goaded her into it "so it wont just be me and a bunch of random guys!" (yes i have specific reasons why each of the moms are here instead of the dads LOL). morgan usually just drives nick, she takes all of his soccer trips off, but is a little entranced by the idea of hanging out with samantha for a few hours and also the vodka coolers sammy promised her at the game, so she agrees. and then everything goes wrong and morgan tries really hard and fails to not blame samantha for it :')

as stated, they're best friends, but they do tend to argue, a trait that mostly starts to crop up in the realms (the added stress kind of kills morgan's already short temper haha). morgan is prone to arguing with Literally Everyone, and samantha isnt an exception. however, she is also prone to bursting into tears after every argument LOL morgan is a very emotional character and she really doesnt like fighting with samantha in particular, sammy is a soft spot for her. so morgan and samantha spend a good amount of time with samantha riling morgan up, morgan snapping in response, and both of them crying. carol is absolutely sick of them and mercedes finds it really sweet LMAO

in more general notes: they first met because nick and terry went to the same preschool, but only became friends after glenn passed, and only became best friends after terry senior also passed. samantha and morgan are the type of middle-aged woman friends to call each other pet names, mostly "sweetheart", "babe", etc <333 samantha does call morgan her girlfriend and then gets confused why people dont understand that theyre platonic friends. morgan is more socially aware but still calls samantha her girlfriend because it annoys nick beyond all belief. the close family spends a lot of time at the stamplers' house in general pre-realms, post-realms as well really. morgan is the only person samantha really lets herself get upset around (besides ron!) and is a rare person for samantha to go to for comfort rather than the other way around :')

THIS IS A PART OF THE AU THAT I . STRUGGLE WITH lol as ive told you. i know that mercedes reacts very poorly to henry's family, she struggles with it a lot (as i said, a sentiment that stays with me - she always thought the twins took after her until she saw everyone in oakvale). however, i have some trouble pinning down like... mercedes' exact reaction? the thing with mercedes is like. she is a very open-minded character, she takes things in stride, and she doesn't like the idea of making people feel judged. at the same time, she's very emotional and while i wouldn't call her hot-headed by any means, i do think that oakvale would severely piss her off and she would not be shy about it LOL. she would want very badly to be cool and normal about oakvale - this is her husbands family, after all! - but it also flies in the face of everything that she and henry stand for.

and of course, i think ive mentioned this part on tumblr but if not - mercedes does fear, in a way, that the twins fit in more in oakvale than they do with her. sparrow especially. its selfish and she hates that part of her, but she resents the idea that her babies might be happier in this fantastical land that suits their childhood adventures and their burgeoning magic and their whimsical spirit, and that shes going to be left out of it. and alongside that, i know ive said this before, mercedes's generational trauma struggles in this au are a lot less hers and a lot more trying to figure out how to support her family through theirs. oakvale as a whole is a big symbol for the difficulty that comes from trying to support your partner against a world you cant even begin to imagine

for henry's response... oof. i think mercedes wouldn't tell him right away, and she would write it off to herself as wanting to tell him in person, but it would stem a lot more from fear and anxiety. shes already afraid of losing her twins to oakvale. she doesnt want to awaken all these memories in her husband and risk him going back too. so she would wait until after the odyssey was over to tell him. honestly, i think she would tell him right after the battle since like, autumn IS THERE. HIS MOM IS RIGHT THERE GFDBGJBDF as for his response... hard to say. i think he would freak the fuck out, just like in canon, but it would be more muted because hes more overwhelmed at having his family back in his arms and also fighting monsters and a dragon and some random dads-?! he would have just. a lot to work through, unpacking everything that mercedes and autumn tells him after the adventure is over. and after he gets stabbed and an eldritch god is summoned through his blood lol

i try to tag super thoroughly, and i almost never put ship art into character tags, so if i ever draw a ship that bothers you, i recommend blocking that tag! if there is a ship i dont tag for whatever reason, just shoot me an ask or a dm and i will make up a blog-specific tag for blacklist purposes.

i mostly depict the worst in these two's relationship which is sad. they are each other's rocks!!! morgan is nick's best friend in many ways. however, i think people overlook how much of a bitch (affectionate) nick is in early season one bfjdgjhdbghj and these two are literally introduced in the story through a shouting match, so!

the tldr; they love each other, but argue constantly. morgan is overly paranoid after glenn's death and this causes her to be too protective. nick remembers what his dad was like, what morgan was like before glenn passed, and wants that more relaxed lifestyle back (and moreso, wants his mom to be happy again). its bad, guys! they do not get along very well! they still do everything together though and nick is only half unwilling about it.

longer spiel/some talk about nicholas as well under the cut:

ive probably talked about this a lil bit before (haunted by mnmoms morgan and nick thoughts) but morgan is very much extremely paranoid about nick getting hurt. despite evidence to the contrary, she blames her and glenn's laidback rocker lifestyle for glenn's death, and in the wake of his passing, throws herself very hard in the opposite direction. i could do a full long spiel about exactly why i characterize morgan this way (tldr; the only way i can see her being the type to marry both glenn and jodie is if she really values stability and safety), but this is about how it affects her relationship with nick! i can get into that another time!

nick loves his mom a lot, and like his canon iteration, a lot of what he does is for attention. morgan is a single mother with a busy and tiring job in this au (she's a stock manager at a nearby grocery store, lol), nick is a grieving teenage boy who wants his old mom back and his dad, period, back. theyre prone to conflict, but it comes from a place of nick wanting her attention and morgan just desperately needing him to be safe. they cant quite see eye-to-eye (ohhh the morgan and samantha foils) and a lot of resolution would be found in them both just... taking deep breaths and talking reasonably. however, theyre both grieving and struggling to find ways to cope.

like glenn, theres no real resolution to this conflict. morgan makes more progress than him, because i just. desperately. need that. please. i love nick so much. but ultimately, like in canon, this is cut abruptly short by the trial. and unlike canon, it takes a lot longer for that aspect of nick's arc to conclude. but hey! at least morgan has a son who listens to her now! hes just as anxious about safety as she is, in fact <3 (inflicting myself with horrors)

morgan does, very genuinely, love nicholas just as much as she loves nick. he very quickly becomes the center of her world. its just a very... odd adjustment period. understandably.
