Title: Cuteness Member - Xtianz

Here's another HTF OC to be joined, Xtianz and his suited Zeon Armor the armored "Zaku II Kai"! 🙂

Zaku II Kai Xtianz Came from the real: MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai

Armament(s):

• 3-slot Grenade Rack Stored on the right hip of the Zaku for convenient access are three hand grenades. The Zaku Kai's grenades were more compact than the "cracker" grenades used by the original Zaku. While not very powerful or accurate, they're capable of performing different roles in the battle.

• Shoulder Shield The shield is a simple defense used to block most incoming ballistic and explosive projectiles. Also used to great effect in close quarters battle with enemy mobile suits. The Zaku II Kai mounts a shield on its right shoulder.

• MMP-80 90mm Machine Gun The upgraded version of the MMP-78 120mm Machine Gun. It used 90mm bullets instead of 120mm type, allowing for a greater speed of firing and a higher rate of penetration. The machine gun is magazine-fed with 32 rounds per mag. The MMP-80 was also integrated with a grenade launcher under its barrel for more firepower.

• Grenade Launcher The MMP-80 is fitted with an underslung grenade launcher. The grenade wasn't very effective against large ships, but was an ideal mid-range anti-mobile suit weapon.

• 120mm Machine Gun The 120mm machine gun is a standard weapon for Zaku type mobile suits. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. It holds 100 rounds per drum with spare drums that can be stored on waist armor racks.

• Heat Hawk An axe-shaped close combat weapon, it uses a super-heated blade to cut through the armor of enemies and/or vehicles. The thermal energy is generated by the power output of the Zaku II's thermonuclear reactor and relayed through the armored hands. The Heat Hawk used by Zaku II Kai is modified with an extendable handle for longer reach in close quarter combat.

• Heat Sword A melee weapon originally developed for the Gouf line of mobile suits. Like the Zaku's heat tomahawk the heat sword is a blade that is heated to high temperatures in order to increase it's cutting capacity. The Heat Sword was designed after a broadsword so its blade is longer than the tomahawk allowing for a greater range of attack.

• H&L-SB25K/280mmA-P Zaku Bazooka The 280mm Zaku Bazooka was another standard weapon that could be equipped to a Zaku type mobile suit. The bazooka fired explosive rounds that were quite effective against the armor of Earth Federation mobile suits and battleships.

• Sturm Faust An explosive weapon with a rocket propelled warhead, it was designed before the beginning of the One Year War as an anti-ship weapon. Useful both in space and under gravity, it was mainly deployed for anti-ship attacks. The Sturm Faust likely made a good anti-armor suit weapon, could be equipped with both a Sturm Faust and a more typical ranged weapon for greater versatility. As a non-guided weapon, it is difficult to hit targets with high mobility.

• Shield The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. Since the introduction of beam weaponry, shields have been treated with an anti-beam coating allowing it to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break.

What if Delphine and the rest of her team had to retreat to earth when the armada attacked in mega force?

They would fight for their planet for as long as they could but eventually realizing they couldn’t repell the armada would have to retreat to the closest friendly planet, Earth

They would have seen an independent armada ship crashing during their own landing and go to investigate to find Orion inside

Delphine who would not yet know about the super mega force rangers would be guarded towards Orion since she knows about the psycho rangers and the armada reminds her a bit too much of dark specter’s empire to take risks especially now that she and her team have very limited amounts of the pure water from the water falls at home that need the majority of their ship’s power to keep pure and continuously replenished

Delphine once she gets in contact with the rest of the zeo and mmp rangers in earth can basically clear Orion as the sixth for The super mega force and they go with him to make his debut but has also made him report back to her since once he tells her about Gosei she tells the other teams and they start poking a few holes in the stories at random points she even decides she doesn’t have the time to wait for school to be out and just calls them into the office for dismissal because being a ranger should be their sole focus

Delphine and the rest of her team get more or less code named Aunty and uncle by the mega force as a way of trying to hide the fact literal aliens are taking them out of school to train them to fight

Delphine struggles with feelings of powerlessness on earth due to the limited supplies her team has forcing them to take a back seat to the action and mostly just aid in city wide evacuations during monster attacks

Eventually Gosei makes a call she directly disagrees with and she effectively rips the bandage off for the super mega force kids and basically tells them their old lives are over because each of them (except Orion who’s basically in shared custody with her whole team and robot knight who is a robot) is going to have 1:1 mentor ship from her and her team mates and they can’t stop until the earth is safe

She forces this reality check hardest on Troy who is her student and they do very well as a full time ranger team with the rangers of aquatar making sure the people are safe but any loss of life reported she immediately makes it a point that it’s their fault as a collective because with 12 (7 mega force, 5 aquatar) of them running around the city things shouldn’t be going this bad unless the enemy is another level of threat than anything the mega force kids have seen in their life times

She would make sure robo knight survives but also she would disapprove of Troy trying to date robo knight not because she disapproves of robot fuckers but because it’s a distraction even though Aurico and Cestro decided it would be fun to wing man them in their free time as a distraction from their desperate situation. Delphine has to do a struck No dating rule after she found out Gia and Emma might also be distractions for each other as well even though it wasn’t quite as much of a spectacle as Troy and robo knight

Delphine is well respected by the super mega force but when the armada is defeated after the final battle Gia is the one to stay behind and tell her and her team she doesn’t want to see Delphine specifically again because Delphine might have made them great rangers along with the rest of her team but Gia knows she and her team mates don’t exactly feel like great people anymore and Delphine accepts she’s done damage before telling Gia she and the rest of the super mega force would be welcomed with open arms as people if they ever wanted to see aquatar

Travel Light by Naomi Mitchison is a really, really good book. It’s not much of a commitment - 135 pages in my edition, which is smaller than a MMP.

Summary: A king’s wife dies, and in the process of getting a new one he casts off his daughter, who is raised first by bears and then by dragons. When her dragon parent is murdered by heroes, Halla sets off to become Halla Heroesbane, though the purpose of her journey warps somewhat when she meets Odin, who tells her to travel light. Just what that means, for Halla and the shape of the story, takes Halla to Byzantium, Marob (a fictional kingdom), Holmgard, and beyond.

It starts off funny in the manner of The Long Ships, and gradually ages with its character. It never stops, quite, being a children’s book, and to some degree it feels its age; its author was born in 1898, and to some extent the prose reads like C S Lewis or Edward Eager, which may be your cup of tea. But it also reaches beyond its genre to present ideas and ask questions that I think Mitchison must have been asking herself.

It’s very well done. It’s bigger than itself. And, if you care about such things, as far as I can tell it’s extremely well-researched and could easily be interpreted as having an asexual protagonist.

Hey Hika! What do you think about the Minto and Zakuro ship in the mixed TMM/MMP dubs? (You said that a Corina and Renee ship could work but not a Zakuro and Minto one).

Not exactly. What I said, or at least meant, was that I personally don't ship them because I see Minto being a huge fangirl, while Zakuro doesn't seem that interested in personal romances. That doesn't mean that the ship couldn't work. I just see it more in the 4Kids English dub, due to how blatant they made it in some parts XD.

However, that's just personal opinion on something that hasn't been official stated as canon. So I could be wrong XDD.

This is utterly ridiculous. I’m not even a big follower of NZ politics but this is the kind of take I’d expect from a child who didn’t know how our voting system worked, not from the leader of a major political party.

Fact 1: We vote by MMP - mixed member proportional. Parties get a proportion of the 120 seats in parliament according to the percentage of the votes they get. Under this system there is much less need for “strategic voting” than in other countries. You vote for who you actually want to advocate for you in parliament and that party gets a proportional voice in parliament. Largely speaking, you don’t have to compromise your values on the vote unless your preference is a truly fringe party who won’t get the 5% of votes needed to enter parliament.

Fact 2: It is a known established thing that Labour and the Greens tend to form coalition partnerships in government. Anyone voting for Labour would know this and expect that a Labour led government would give a stronger voice to the Green party. A vote for the Greens is a vote for Labour. A vote for Labour is a vote to lend an ear to however many Greens make it in.

Conclusion: National embarrassed themselves. And now they are continuing to embarrass themselves instead of getting their act together and not publicly speculating until they have a new game plan.

Habitual National voters saw the National Party being a mess, with little concern for people and communities, and without a realistic plan that would actually be effective in helping economic recovery, and with an unpleasant leader that raised red flags about a descent into the political culture that has gripped many overseas countries.

So the voters abandoned ship. Those that value stability and are left-leaning enough to stomach it went to Labour, and those few who couldn’t bring themselves to do that went to the more right-leaning minor party Act.

That’s it.

There may be a bit more to it than that, maybe there is more to it in the details, and more to explore in specific demographics. But there doesn’t need to be a massive conspiracy, there doesn’t need to be a huge swathe of habitual National supporters suddenly forgetting how our political system works, and it is utterly embarrassing for the National Party to be raising these kinds of comments.

They’re showing that instead of making themselves into “the best opposition party ever” all they are positioning themselves to do is to sow dysfunction and disharmony in parliament.

“Nobody wants the Greens”? then why did the Greens get voted in? Are they saying they don’t have faith in our electoral system? They’re sowing false narratives and unnecessary division.

It’s exactly like the moment when I lost all respect for them during the campaign - Judith Collins was at a meet and greet on a farm and used her time on camera to throw out the one liner “Labour hates farmers! Labour hates farmers!” - presumably related to the fact that the Labour government is pushing environmental protection legislation around *checks notes* not letting farmers pump effluent into rivers or spread so much unnecessary fertiliser on fields that it leaches into rivers and causes algae blooms that kill all the fish.

It’s throwing out emotive propaganda language trying to influence people without actually contributing anything of value to the discussion.

How about National quits telling people what they should think and try putting up an actual plan for themselves, yeah?

P.S Maybe farmers are connected to the environment so they want a government who will pass common sense environmental protections and then support them in achieving them, rather than a party that wants to scrap a lot of our environmental protections and set us backwards years. Farming practice changes are necessary, and difficult. The solution is to make the transition smoother - not give up on it. Maybe farmers and rural people are smart enough to make their own judgements on which party would make that process smoother and more effective. Maybe it’s a perfectly valid choice for that to not be National.

Aaron and Connie Stoppable! One of my few sibling pairs in my ShipChild OC library.

Aaron is truly his mother's son: A nice, good-looking, popular, straight A soccer player with strong gymnastic and fighting talent with a hidden innocent/dorky side despite his Type A attitude. Unlike his mother he's a bit more secure and worries less about peer pressure, popularity and fitting in. Connie by contrast is CLEARLY a Stoppable: goofy, geeky, clumsy, easily scared, and a HUGE lover of baking and food - especially if it's from Bueno Nacho. While seemingly tomboyish and geeky on the surface - she loves videogames and wrestling - she also inherited her mom's love of cuddlebuddies and dad's love of ballerinas. Like her father, Connie is a shy, loyal type B cinnaroll who doesn't care what anyone thinks about her. Since she is part Possible, she is geberally more capable/competent than Ron, even if it is in a more chaos theory kind of way than the Possibles, and doesn't have as many phobias or insecurities (Part of that is due to parenting: K/R would certainly try not to repeat the parenting sins of Ron's mom and dad. And properly look into any camp they send the kids to.) She's also the only one of the two to have inherited Ron's MMP.

As for their two pet Naked Mole Rats, tjey're Two of Rufus and Kelly's Pups: Aaron's is called Wade, who inherited alot of Rufus' talent with computers and electronics, and Connie's is Monique, the more loyal fashion concious and physically athletic of the two - she's also one of the MMP blessed Rufus/Kelly pups.

Aaron is part of my so far only OC x OC ship that I have (least that I can talk about publically) - I ship him and Meg Richi. X3 I just started thinking about them together and it was adorable. They fit together so well, the odd alien geek girl and the nice jock guy.

Aaron's birthday is April 11, 2010 (Actual date of creation for him, Connie, and Lily Lipsky is April 11, 2017) and Connie's Birthday is May 28, 2012 (Modified date that I created Aaron and Connie's Buddypoke Avatars)
