Today is the final day of this glorious month, but it’s not over yet, so feel free to continue submitting works for me to reblog until tomorrow morning. All official communications for this Zine will happen through discord, as well as this blog. It would be easiest for me if everyone was a member of the discord group, even if you chose not to talk in it just so you had a place to see everyones wips and keep in touch with what’s happening.

Rules:

- The Illustration submissions will be 2480 pixels x 3508 pixels, 300 DPI in portrait mode. (Think a standard A4 piece of paper) Since it is going to be a digital only release and we’re not worried about being printer friendly we are going to go with RGB for the richest color on screen

- Written submissions must be spell checked and no longer than 2,000 words. If you’re over by a hundred or so I won’t bug, but don’t exceed four pages single spaced. I would like to avoid having to ask anyone to trim! So please stay within this parameter. We have a volunteer beta who is willing to read some things over, and if anyone is down to help other writers in the writer room of the discord chat I encourage you to say so ^u^

- This Zine is about Nino Lahiffe and about showing an underappreciated character some attention and love! So as thus, your theme is: Nino! Please make Nino the focus of your piece. I’ve seen it happen in other character zines where they are made the background character of their own zine, so please make him the focus! However, since this is an appreciation zine please avoid Angst (a possible exception to this might be something like: Nino is having a hard time and all of his friends come together to support him and show him they care, kind of thing). It’s all about celebrating him. You can do this by showing a slice of his life, headcanons, au’s, ships, family, birthdays, hero stuff, date stuff, something epic and badass, something fluffy and embarrassing.  Whatever!

- If you submit a illustration that is not done digitally the scan must be clear and the file the size indicated in the first bullet point

- If you are making a piece that is all about an AU (He’s a knight, he’s a mermaid, he owns a Dairy Queen, whatever) please leave some space for this to indicated. It doesnt have to be blank (in the case of an illustration) just keep in mind that some non-distracting text may be added to the corner to indicate the context of the universe ((It might lightly say Comedian AU in the corner, or something similar. If it is too distracting in the final result I will scrap this idea, this is just a way for people to have complex ideas that can be explained in one or two words))

- Stuff involving his superhero identity Carapace is allowed and encouraged, as well as any other hero AU’s you might want

-No NSFW content
