2. My previous blog name was ##mmi, this was when I was a law of attraction blogger. My life became hell, I suffered so much for like 1 year and I almost k.. myself. But I decided to live in my imagination even not knowing the law by that time, I assumed I was free and safe and then everything changed. As I did not wanted to use the same nickname since some people irl discovered about it, I decided to have Lotusmi as new user since Lotus rise from the mud. And I almost died so I am a Lotus who rised from the mud.

My name is Joane, and I love movies (but not in the pretentious "film bro" kind of way). I graduated from Syracuse in Dec. '24 with a degree in TV, Radio, & Film and have since returned for my M.A. in Advertising. In 2023, I traveled with the Newhouse School to France/Switzerland to film some documentaries with the WWII Foundation about the French Resistance - an eye-opening experience that I'm incredible grateful for.

I'm currently taking MMI 634 to learn how to spot trends before they become "trendy." Back in 2020 during my freshman year, Syracuse invited Shauna Spenley from Riot Games to share insights about her career. She had worked at Netflix, before it became Netflix. She helped it grow from a small company doing at-home DVD rentals to a streaming service with its own original content. Ever since then, I've been on the lookout for the next Netflix. Although working for a major studio certainly seems impressive on a resume, I'd like to say I've been a part of something massive from the start - that I helped build that company from the ground up. I know this class will help me find these new Netflixes and Hulus and Disneys before they become the famous companies that are recognized worldwide.

Staying true to character, this blog is dedicated to all things movies - hits, flops, reviews, streaming services, studio deals... maybe even the occasional movie marketing campaign. Right now, my 3 favorite movies are: But I'm a Cheerleader, Megamind, and the Snow Society. My favorite movie genre is horror, but nothing hits like 2000s chick-flicks/romcoms. I feel like it's basic to say "I love movies," but I really do. For example, I love Megamind because it's a funny children's movie that tells the story of a self-proclaimed anti-hero who is bad at being bad. Movie making is an art-form that can create unexpected connections among its audiences. At the height of the pandemic we turned to shows like Tiger King and Outer Banks for comfort, humor, entertainment... In the absence of certainty, we turned to faith art.

In the future, I'd like to advertise for the film/tv industry (and maybe even end up on a set at one point, but that's TBD). For now, I just know I'd like to create something that resonates with people - whether that's an advertising campaign (connecting people with a product/service) or in the long-run, a film/show. I'm looking forward to bringing you along this journey and am excited to see what the hottest movie topics will be this semester.

Sedikit Menjadi Bukit

Bertahun-tahun tidak membuka Tumblr, terasa jadul dan wagu sekali membaca tulisan sendiri di masa lampau. LAMPAU. Seperti bertemu dengan sisi diri dari Nafila yang belum mengenal percik revolusi mental. Yang masih menganalogikan dirinya sendiri sebagai Pengendali Api. Masa-masa sebelum mengenal sebuah ilmu pedagogi bernama Montessori.

Melihat ke belakang, rasanya perjalanan belajar Montessori ini mulai bisa dikatakan tidaklah sebentar. Tahun 2017 memulai perjalanan berburu Montessori dengan ikut kelas lepasan, tahun 2018 diijabah Allah untuk mengambil diploma Montessori bersama MMI, tahun 2019 diberi kesempatan mengajar, tahun 2020 muncul ide Buku Cerita Montessori dan mulai menyusun naskahnya, tahun 2021 mulai masuk ke Montessori Elementary bersama tim The Cosmic Learner, tahun 2022 nekat homeschooling dan mencicipi belajar bersama lembaga terafiliasi AMI.

Yang awalnya kukira belajarku sedikit, ternyata lama-lama menjadi bukit. Persis seperti kata pepatah. Termanifestikan jauh lebih nyata dan kuat, ketika belajar berangkat dari keinginan diri sendiri, bukan karena kewajiban. Lima tahun dan masih akan berlanjut, belajar kali ini terasa sangat lebih hidup.

Nafila yang pernah menulis di blog ini bertahun-tahun lalu sama sekali tidak pernah terpikirkan, sama sekali tidak pernah membayangkan, sama sekali tidak pernah merencanakan akan mencicipi dunia homeschooling. Sebuah kemustahilan mengingat diri ini sangat jauh dari karakter keibuan dan kehangatan seorang pendidik. Sebuah keniscayaan mengingat preferensi kehidupan instan yang kupilih, kemampuan suami untuk “membeli” pendidikan, dan kemudahan akses pilihan sekolah anak di tempat tinggal kami semula.

Blog ini nampak seperti puzzle janggal yang kehilangan kepingan penting. Kepingan kisah ketika aku belajar Montessori dan jatuh bangun mengejar keinginan hati. Seperti ada lompatan waktu yang tidak terekam, yang terlihat sementara ini seperti sebatas hak istimewa. 

Tidak mengapa. Tidak semua orang perlu tahu bagaimana getirnya berjuang dan belajar. Tidak semua orang perlu mendengar cerita transisi dari hari ke hari.

Yang pasti, segala kemudahan yang nampak dalam pengasuhan dan pendidikan di rumah hingga hari ini tentunya adalah buah langkah dari periode sebelumnya yang dieja dengan penuh tenaga dan doa. Yang dilihat orang lain sebagai “pantas saja bisa”, bagi kami tidak serta merta lahir dari keberlimpahan. 

Merangkai yang sedikit hingga menjadi bukit. Peribahasa ini benar-benar nyata. Lain kali akan kutuliskan aliran rasa, tentang dinamika menyediakan pendidikan dan pengasuhan di rumah sebagai tangan pertama. Meskipun kami masih hilir-mudik, masih lintang-pukang, masih bongkar-pasang atau geradakan dalam prosesnya. 

Semoga yang ditabung sedikit-sedikit ini juga akan menjadi bukit pengalaman yang bisa kami rekam untuk warisan bacaan dan refleksi di masa depan.

Title: Cuteness Girl Member - Claire

Here's another female (5th Harvey Beaks) character who joins the "Cuteness Defender Academy", and her name is "Claire". 🦊 And this ain't from the original customized mobile suit, these came from the customized Gunpla which is convert it to a "Cuteness Mecha Armor". 🤖😁

BTW: There's a line shadow behind her, something combining a mobile armor and herself into one. So maybe I'll be drawing for that by some other time. 😉

Amethyst Victory Claire Based on: LM312V04 Amethyst Victory Gundam [CLICK ME!]

Armament(s):

Beam Rifle • One of two handheld ranged weaponry used by the suit, it is the same beam rifle as the one used by the original Victory.

Beam Saber • A sword-like beam weapon that is used for close combat, the Amethyst Victory is equipped with four beam sabers stored in forearm recharge racks when not in use.

Beam Shield • The suit's main defensive equipment, a pair of beam shields are stored in the forearms. The beam shield generates a plane of energy similar to the blade of a beam saber, but uses it for blocking both beam and projectile weapons.

Beam Smart Gun • The other handheld ranged weaponry used by the suit, it is a high-powered beam rifle and the same weapon as the one used by the V-Dash.

MMI-710 "Excalibur" Anti-ship Laser Sword • The Amethyst Victory Claire's main close combat weapons, the anti-ship laser swords are large physical swords with a laser blade along their cutting edge and are effective in cutting up ships and mobile suits. A pair of these swords are stored on the β Sword Silhouette Pack, and they can be joined at their hilts to form a large dual-bladed ambidextrous form.

RQM60 "Flash-Edge" Beam Boomerang • Stored on the β Sword Silhouette Pack on the suit's back, the pair of beam boomerangs are throwing weapons that emits a short beam blade on one end, and can return to the owner after throwing, often catching enemy units by surprise.

Special Feature(s):

Hardpoints • An attachment point for weapons, shields, spare ammunition, or optional mission-specific equipment. Hardpoints can also be used to store carried weapons when a mobile suit needs its manipulators free for other purposes. The LM312V04 Amethyst Victory is equipped with eight hardpoints, four on the arms, and two each on the side skirt armor and legs.

Je me présente, moi c’est Kenny Guyenne et ça fait 20 ans que je suis en vie.

Je pensais que j’étais unique sur le Caillou avant d’arriver en DUT MMI cette année et de découvrir qu’il existe en fait deux autres Kenny 🤷‍♂️.
