I fricking love the g1 art style sm. It's so soft and pretty and just majestic. Oh also ik Star Catcher is g3, but she's my favorite pony so I had to draw her in the g1 style.

🍃wind whistle or W.W. is a sportsy mare who loves to be the fastest flyer, she pushes herself to be great. shes competitive and stubborn, sometimes she would over exert herself but her friends remind her to take breaks and have fun

🍑peachy is a peach farmer, tough as nails and sweet as sugar. shell defend her friends till the end, she puts a lot of faith in her friends. she loves to make baked foods especially if it has peaches in it! she loves to gift the desserts to her friends and basically anyone else in town!

🌴paradise is a very relaxed mare, she loves to rest under the warm sun on the clouds, shes sweet to everyone and is basically everyone's friend from her chill nature. she loves to make art in the sand.

bonus fact:

🐎paradise and wind whistle are a breed of horses called floofs, having an increased fur amount than normal ponies. floofs can be unicorn, pegasus or earth ponies. they are very soft but have sensitive fur and is good to be gentle when brushing them.

I am quite familiar with G1! ^^ I had a pretty long phase where I was immensely curious about the series and I’ve seen every single generation to some capacity!

G1:

MLP & Friends: While I wouldn’t rank it higher than G4, I have so much respect that the writers wanted to do so much more than just make a goofy little girl’s show. It had all that 80s camp, but yeah, there were some incredibly memorable storylines and characters! They’re like, miniature little fantasy stories for little girls! ^^ (Windwhistler is best pony)

MLP Tales: Then the 90s came around and MLP was rebooted to be about high school, and the characters mostly just fawned over boys all the time. There was a huge moral dissonance as they weren’t obligated to tell stories that teach anymore, so they had some pretty downright surprising conclusions. Remember that episode where they emotionally blackmailed some bullies by seducing them into posing for pictures in diapers? ...yeah, that was a thing.

G3:

Generation 3 is such and interesting beast. The animation was beautiful, and I even like some of the designs, but besides that, there was a level of lack of effort that permeated the whole thing. It’s what I was fascinated about the whole thing, I liked to imagine what was going on behind the scenes. It’s also interesting that it managed to build up some developed character up to the end of it... but then Core7 happened. Hasbro decided they wanted to focus the franchise on a central cast of characters and just market the hell out of them. So they were required up to give the characters more personality, which translated to stripping them down until their hobbies essentially defined their entire personality.

G3.5

MLP takes a nose dive as it moves into flash animation. The characters were simplified into strange little deer creatures that look nothing like horses. Core7′s effects were still being felt at the point so, yeah, it was a braindead time.

And then, NEWBORN CUTIES! *THUNDERCLAP* It is the worst thing the MLP franchise has ever produced. I sometimes offer it up as a challenge. I remember crying the first time I watched Over Two Rainbows. Funnily enough, this is the last thing they produced before they got Lauren Faust to create Generation 4. I kind of like to think the cartoon led to that decision.

I found #windwhistler 's cutie mark relatively easy.
