i think its weird how artists and especially youtubers will 'redesign' characters from media they deem problematic as though slapping a new coat of paint on the character erases all the issues they were rooted in to begin with. or as though redesigning the character makes them Better than the original creator, because now its THEIRS

If you’re insane like me, I picture the MLP concept like a heartfelt dramedy coming of age for awkward weird girls… two episode ideas under:

- Twilight loses steam for her fanfic that’s been going on for 2 years and has a lot of attention in the fandom, gaining micro celebrity status. The pressure is too much, from her home life and school and college on the horizon. She doesn’t know it, but she’s suffering from a burn out and ends up blowing up at Pinkie who overstims her. Pinkie gets her feelings hurt but they talk through it and Twilight learns how to let loose and not have to work all the time… by the end of a weekend together, Twilight gets an idea for the ending that reflects the time they spent together. 🙂 And she really learns to value Pinkie’s own creativity, and sense of freedom she needs too.

- Rainbow Dash is always confident and speaks her mind proudly, too much even, but when she overhears gossip at school making fun of a gay theatre guy for “gay is just his personality”, she starts to get anxiety about her own new sexuality and wonders if it’s shallow.

During this week, she’s helping out Apple Jack for a big family dinner coming up for Thanksgiving break and is invited— when she sits at the table, right next to her, she gets flustered and imagines that one day she’ll come back again as “part of the family”

Doting Mother

I had a really funny idea.

And yes, Indigo Glory and Nova Galaxy are siblings (whether or not I want their mother to be Rarity is still up in the air lol)

Their clothing is based off of Laotian and Mongolian fashion, as I've decided that Unicorns in MLP; New Dawns have more of an Asian culture and appearance.

My mlp oc remake from !! like.. 8 years ago? Maybe even longer !! The original was done on.. phone I think? Back when I used Ibis, around the first time I started I think.

Congrats on your transition, king. I couldn't decide on which palette I liked more so I had friends make a vote and we settled on the darker palette!! He doesn't have a name yet so.. feel free to make suggestions?

He's a bat pony who was ORIGINALLY training to be a guard (as most were, apparently) but realized it wasn't for him. So he's got the training, but nothing beyond that !! His cutiemark is of a flower in the Everfree, that's where he spends most of his time at night !! He lives pretty close to it and he has a love and gift for gardening and researching those Everfree plants !! Specifically the ones that thrive at night.

I promise he's more silly and not super serious but I can only ever draw serious people/hj
