•I wanted to keep the disabled reprentation with scootaloo but as scar and Jim had the deputy duo thing in empires I decided that applebloom is disabled instead of scootaloo(If this is in anyway offensive please let me know!)

• xornorth and scott aren't brothers in this universe tho they are linked with their characters being both xeors prised pupils

• with shelby being starlight glimmer I wanted to keep her whole cutie mark(or whatever the stand in will be) hating cult but there will most likely be a bunch of skulk obsession in that cult

DAYS SINCE OUTBREAK: 93 Days

After the infection became more widespread due to infected pegasi running away from Ponyville, there was a widespread evacuation to the Crystal Empire. By now, no place is safe other than the Crystal Empire due to it's magical barrier and the Frozen North that surrounds it.

I wonder whose sweater she's wearing. It seems too small for her.

I decided to draw some crystal ponies for fun!! The first one is named Classy Curls while the second is Crystal Glamor.

There isn’t really much to either pony yet. Maybe Crystal could be a Crystal Empire pop singer or something?? I feel like we really didn’t get a lot of glimpses into potential cross-species celebrities. (Even though Crystal Ponies are still a type of pony.)

I do wish we got more glimpses into Crystal Ponies. Though I suppose they were pretty hard to animate sometimes. I can’t blame them.

One of those infection/Zombie aus but the cause is one of the shows ancient magical artifacts. Like the inspiration manifestation book or alicorn amulet. Or even more interesting in my opinion, artifacts thought as forces of good, like the tree/elements of harmony and crystal heart. Maybe they were never meant to be used by mortals. Maybe Sombra is the way he is because he was flying to close to the sun when studying the Crystal Hearts magic.

I have a previous prompt where Discord was turned into what he is now because of the inspiration manifestation book. I like to think it was Starswirl or Stygian that became Discord after discovering the book.

Gang,.,… gang I’m thinking. I’m thinking of making gen 5 semi/full on canon in the Oops ALL Alicorns AU..,,,.,, things tie in together so well I MUST MAKE IT CANON

The idea that twilight took/locked away all magic translated to my au would mean she would need to fistfight the GOD OF MAGIC. HAVE YOU SEEN THEM? SHES GONNA NEED TO AT LEAST CONTROL THE THING.

- The reason the dragons looks so plain and similar is because the lack of gem diet. Gemstones are vital to dragon health, without them they arnt as strong or healthy. The magic makes them change physically aswell so without it they’re all just blank slates waiting for a magical push to start growing spiked tail balls or whatver!!

- The reason why earth ponies have such stronger magic and why unicorns seems to be able to cast any spell is due to the tribes magic l being separated completely equally! As stated before, Pegasi are technically the most magical, so when it was split up the amount of magic was even out. Pegasi now lack the ability to control the weather, that magic potential was split between the other tribes

- the lack of a crystal empire is due to The First Alicorn DESTORYING IT when he surfaced in the fight. The auroricorns town is what is left of the crystal pony tribe and the crystal empire itself

- the reason why Sunny Starscout isn’t a true alicorn is due to there not being enough magic left to fully transform her after Twilight erased everything! Opaline is the last alicorn, the last true alicorn to exist before the magic was erased, so she would’ve had to exist in gen 4. Most likely she was Twilights pupil, Luster Dawn!! Girl got nightmare moonified, she got pony of shadowsified,..,

- the together trees are lesser Trees or Harmony!!! (It is canon that there are multiple, seen in the season 10 comics (which have been said to be canon!!)) Trees of harmony require MASSIVE amounts of magic to become what they are, that’s why theyre crystallized, the crystals are formed from pure magic. But in a situation when there isn’t enough magic to grow, it becomes a together tree. Still magical and special in their own right, connected through harmony and friendship, but not what it could’ve been. In the future there isn’t enough magic available to create trees of harmony, so shits fucked

Chrysalis threw back her head, stretching her neck to try and relieve some of the building tension in her body. Not do to anything stressful of course! The Crystal Empire was probably one of the most peaceful places to live! Her subjects were never lacking, and love was given freely to her and her children.

No. The stress was from the meeting her guards were currently leading her toward. An Emissary from the Solar Empire had been sent for the annual peace treaty talks, this one a supposed favorite of Queen Celestia herself.

Usually, a few words would be traded, and the same contracts would be looked over. Agreements that nothing need change and they'd be on their way and Chrysalis would start her daily trot around the streets, greeting her subjects and seeing if there was anything anyone needed help with.

But something felt...different this time. It made her exoskeleton itch, and her wings vibrate anxiously.

She didn't have time to ponder though. The back doors leading to her throne room were opened and she could hear her head guard's clear voice, loud so all could hear.

"Presenting her most gracious majesty! The Queen Chrysalis de'Megasoma!"

Stomping from her guards and any servants that were in the room followed, stopping only when she bowed her head in acknowledgment.

In front of her throne stood a lithe unicorn, pink as the blush of someone in love, with her expression just as saccharine sweet. Beside her another unicorn stepped forward, his body built more muscular than most other unicorns, and his body the white of whipped cream. His expression was far sterner than his companion's, but seeing the gleaming gold of the Solar Empire armor, she could figure out why.

"Queen Chrysalis of the Crystal Empire! I present to you the Lady Mi Amore Cadenza of the Solar Empire!"

Chrysalis Redesign for my AU Wings of Change. Some things are still subject to change, but for right now I'm pleased. I'm also going to go back to my other AU designs and any art I do, and tag them with MLP AU: Wings of Change. Just in case anyone wants to see what else is in this AU.

Cadence is cool but she definitely needed more lore and character building that she didn’t get in the show because she was made so last minute to sell toys. Also I was weirded out how she’s meant to rule the crystal empire yet she wasn’t a crystal pony herself, just a figurehead for princess celestia. In this Au a baby orphan Cadence is taken in by a crystal earth pony couple in the crystal empire. She’s spent her childhood in the empire before it disappeared due to king sombra.During her time in the empire she always felt a a strong connection to the crystal heart. When she was alone again she spent her teens traveling around equestria solving love problems. When she defeats Prismia she’s taken notice by empress Luna and is taken under her wing. Cadence becomes a student of empress Luna and is taken to Canterlot to train. Cadence accidentally summons princess Amore, and she tells her everything about the crystal empire,the crystal heart,and king sombra. Cadence finds out she’s a descendent of princess Amore, which explains why she felt such a strong connection to the crystal heart.She’s tasked with trying to take back the crystal empire, and gets more help from princess Amore. She was able to defeat king sombra and later ascends and becomes a princess. Later she would help empress Luna and empress Celestia rekindled. Then she has her coronation and is crowned empress of the crystal empire. The path of Ascension varies from creature to creature .When she ascends she’s not gifted a horn,she’s still remains a Pegasus, but she does gain Alicorn level power. She only gets a horn somewhat when she gets a power boost from the crystal heart. When she gets that boost a transparent magical crystal horn manifest from the top of her head and disappears when her power is drained.Her daughter flurry Heart will be able to do the same thing when she later ascends.

Note:Cadence and twilight don’t become Alicorn s in this AU just like Lauren Faust intended. any creature is capable of magic and that having a horn merely means that you'd have an easier time learning it.Cadence is a crystal pony,which makes her mother of the crystal ponies.Cadence crystal form is inspired by the twinkle eyed ponies from gen 1
