Hi Everyone!! Here are some more next gens for my Blossom Love AU. Lulu and Tulip's parents are Arthur Kingsmen and Roseluck. Lulu is somewhat sweet and helpful, but does have quite the temper if things don't get done either on time or in the right way. But she does mean well and just wants everyone to respect her advice and decisions regarding her and her mother's flower stand business. Despite this, Lulu does love to help her mother around the stand and is quite organized, hence why she was put on finances and making sure things are in order. Tulip, on the other hand, is super bubbly, loves to party and make friends very often. She tags along with her father and his friends (Vivi Yukino, Lewis Pepper and Mystery), Vivi and Lewis's son, Liam and Princess Cadence and Shining Armor's daughter, Flurry Heart (whom is Liam's longtime girlfriend) as they continue to discover and reveal the paranormal as The Mystery Skulls. Even though Tulip is apart of the team, She does get scared very easily just like her father. Tulip works as the one who analyzes and discovers ancient relics ranging from tomes to artifacts left behind by previous civilizations. Despite her goofy and oblivious nature, she's knowledgeable and is quite intelligent as well. Lulu and Tulip have a very close bond, but do have the tendency to get on each other's nerves whether it be on accident or on purpose. Credit goes to Selenaede for the bases I used and to MysteryBen27, Lauren Faust and Hasbro for creating The Mystery Skulls Animated Music Videos and My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic as well as creating the characters, Arthur Kingsmen, Vivi Yukino, Lewis Pepper, Mystery, Roseluck Princess Cadance, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart as well as creating The Mystery Skulls Team and Roseluck's Flower Stand too. I only take credit for my next gens, art, ships, stories and the Blossom Love AU. I hope you guys like them!!!

Decided to post my updated family trees for the Mane Six here, including my VERY large tree for the Apple Family. And as for who Twilight and Tempest's mysterious first child is? You're just gonna have to wait and see. 😉

Oh, and another thing: while Hitch and Pipp are distant descendants of the Apple Family, THEY'RE NOT CLOSELY RELATED. They're at least a few hundred years apart from each other, so they share about as much DNA as you do with a random person on the street. What I'm trying to say is that it's not incest.

finally gave my nextgen ideas some colorsssssss (itty bitty bios under the cut)

Raine is the oldest by a long shot, adopted by Nya and Jay when he was about 7-ish. he’s much older than the core elemental inheritors, and is already a a full-fledged ninja of sorts. she’s not home a lot, usually doing missions and fighting evil and stuff. Lilly and Ry look up to him the most. his weapon is a guandao, forged with the help of his uncle Kai.

Maya is the elder twin, bio kid of Kai and Cole. they’re probably the calmest and most reserved out of the five of them, probably why they inherited the element of ice. they’re the least social, willingly at least, but it’s not out of intentional malice, they just have a rich inner life. and secrets. so many secrets. Maya is a natural strategist and enabler number one for their twin’s behavior.

Lilly is the younger twin, but only by about thirty minutes. she’s outgoing and LOUD, and very so excited to be an in-training ninja, just like her cousin Raine, FINALLY. she inherited the element of fire, and also her dad’s general hotheadedness and urge to stand out. graduating from her role as ringleader for most of her, her twin, and her cousin Ry’s shenanigans, Lilly’s usually the one taking charge as group leader. she’s also a gym rat, even though her gains aren’t even that visible, COME ON!

Rylan, usually Ry unless he’s in trouble, is Nya and Jay’s second kid, also adopted. to answer your questions, yes he’s a turned serpentine, no he doesn’t remember it, it happened when he was a baby and he was surrendered soon after. Ry’s the emotional heart of the group, most willing to talk about mushy stuff like feelings, to varying results from the rest of his teammates. he inherits the element of lightning. he’s big on scarves, but his favorite is the kitty cat one he knitted with his older sibling Raine.

Shan is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. they’re initially a suspect, a repeat offender for petty thefts that the ninja in training often pursued (because that’s all that Lilly, Ry, and Maya were qualified for, honestly) that somehow turned into a very reluctant friend along the way, mostly due to Ry’s efforts. and now they’re letting them live in the monastery full time? and now they’re the most worthy inheritor of the element of earth? sure. he butts heads with Lilly the most, she thinks they’re suspicious, he thinks she’s too bossy and full of herself.

Bio:

When Starspell was younger, she was full of excitement and curiosity for everything. She would even spend hours researching cutie marks before she got her own. Starspell also had a decent time making friends. Wind Chill and Peachie(both pictured above) are still her best friends. She used to be an innocent ball of sunshine, but then the expectations and responsibilities of being a princess and a daughter of Twilight weighed down on her. She felt the pressure of everyone's high expectations and she cracked. She lost her motivation to do things she used to love. She has many nervous breakdowns, but only in private. She doesn’t want the people she cares about to worry about her, so she bottles her feelings inside. She uses playful sarcasm and the often snarky comment to hide her feelings. She overall isn’t doing great, but hopefully she reaches out to those who love her.

Cutie Mark: Two shooting stars, one in the foreground going up and a smaller one crashing down. It represents her love of astronomy, and how she can fall back whenever she wishes. She got it on a family trip watching the stars with her siblings and her grandparents.

There are three separate sections on this bio, which are: a full body of the character, their closest platonic relationship and expressions to show the character's personality. This style of bio is honestly very extra, and I will only be doing it for the mane six's most important offspring.

POV I scrap my old MLP next gens and do new ones lmaoooooooooo whateverrrrrrrrrrrrr,,,,,, Been wanting to do a Chrysalis/Shining Armor next gen that Cadence and Shining Armor raise (mostly Cadence). General idea being that he's conceived/born around the Chysalis season 2 arc. Cadence and Shining Armor end up taking him in a bit reluctantly, but Cadence warms up to the little grub baby quickly; Shining Armor takes more time and remains distant with his son. While he isn't biologically related to Cadence he ends up kinda metamorphically inheriting her traits as he ages. Cadence calls him Lovebug :) Bit of a filler concept for now, I used the canon colors for Chrysalis and Shining Armor which I'm prone to changing when I have a chance to focus on them.

Alright so I’ve finally finished all of Make Your Mark on Netflix (I have no interest in Tell Your Tale) and, well… I certainly have thoughts. Unfortunately I felt MLP G5 (even including A New Generation) was pretty weak. I don't HATE G5 of course, but it certainly has problems. Not counting the ton of continuity errors and plot holes and retcons from G4, most of the episodes + specials on their own I found flat and boring.

And yes I KNOW that G5 deserves to be its own thing and shouldn’t rely 100% on G4’s popularity but come on… a sequel series still needs SOME connection to its predecessor, and G5 has so little of it?? And the worst part is that the super sparse FIM references were for legal reasons, which makes me even wonder why bother setting it in the same universe as G4 instead of just making a complete reboot. And yes I’ve heard that the G5 comics actually go deeper into the lore, but important worldbuilding details should be included in the show proper, not in supplemental materials. 

So yeah, that only inspired me to make even more changes for my MLP next gen AU. Starting with a bunch of different ideas I have for Opaline. More details about my revamped design and backstory for her under the cut

First off, her canon design is way too gaudy and takes away a lot of her intended scare factor, so I redesigned her with multiple variants. For all versions I removed her blue eyeshadow and the braids around her ears (too ridiculous-looking and difficult for me to draw), and made her hair a bit more asymmetrical. 

As for my version of her backstory, rather than Opaline being over a thousand years old and having known Celestia and Luna when they were fillies, I made Opaline a former student of Twilight who became her successor as the next Alicorn Princess. Only Opaline didn't do a great job as a ruler which caused Twilight to drain her of her magic and banish her to the outskirts of Equestria.

But after Twilight died of old age (don't ask me why Twilight didn't find a new successor, still working that out) the magic shield locking Opaline outside Equestria faded and allowed her back in. So she was the one who caused disharmony between ponies all over again (yeah kind of a repeat of the Nightmare Moon situation but), and additionally kidnapped Misty as a filly to use her as a spy and do tasks to help Opaline get her powers back, including her wanting to steal dragon fire to become a fire Alicorn like in canon.

Made this change for two reasons 1) the whole “ancient villain who knew Celestia and Luna back in the day escaped now and is planning to wreak havoc on modern Equestria” has been done a hundred times already in FIM, let a new villain form literally during Twilight’s reign 2) it would keep the rejection aspect of Opaline's canon backstory but give her more personal beef with Twilight which is why Opaline targets her

so my AU wouldn't just have all ponies restore unity and then have Opaline just come as a threat right after like A New Generation + Make Your Mark did. Achieving harmony between pony AND non-pony kind would be done over the course of a series and not just one movie, with Equestria being restored + Misty being freed after Opaline's defeat. The Unity Crystals still play a role in my AU, with Twilight having created them as a new alternative to the Elements of Harmony rather than just a macguffin to stop Opaline specifically.

Also if it were up to me I like my #3 redesign the best, the blue hues would probably fit the best for a fire-based villain (fire being blue when it's hottest and all) but that depends on if/when I wanna draw my AU Opaline in the future

I like the Emira/Viney ship.

Mainly because I read fanfics with that ship. But I don’t mind Viney/Skara.

If we're being real Viney and Skara have more canon interactions (like one) but Skara has a boyfriend and Emira doesn't so 💀

But I mean I don't get why some people have to assign every character a partner and expect other fans to go along it when it's not even canon (season 1 era people acted like it was a sin to ship Willow with anyone other that Bosha)

I don't ever really plan on making a next gen au myself so it's not like I HAVE to pair every single kid character with someone so I can design their future kids (who are all girls/fem presenting) and ONLY ship them forever.

I remember seeing MLP and (shudders) MHA next gen aus where artists would just kinda force every mainish character in a (straight) relationship so they can have kids. And it's like "Do you REALLY ship all these? 🤨"

Hey! I’m TicciTavvi, a 19 year old hobby artist based in southern USA, using she/her pronouns.

I love to draw fandom related things, which typically feature my own fan-characters (who I typically ship with a canon character lol). When I’m not doing that, I’m trying to work on at least one of my dozens original story ideas. (And yet somehow not getting anywhere with any of them at all 🤨)

I have a particular passion for character design, and have only recently begun attempting more finished, story related illustrations.

Sometimes I even delve into fan fiction- though I have yet to truly post anything.

I have a hard time consistently sticking with one fandom, and I often jump from this to that. However, I find myself returning most often to LOTR, BG3, MLP, and fallen London.
