WHAT'S THE ORIGIN OF YOUR BLOG TITLE?

Sailorsoons was invented because sailorrhansol was shot point blank and murdered by tumblr and did not return for 22 days. I needed a blog to post the works that I had coming up for collabs so I said fuck it and birthed sailorsoons and then moved here permanently after sailorrhansol was brought back to life.

FAVORITE FANDOMS?

I really only participate in kpop fandoms. SVT is probably my favorite int terms of low stress and I'm really enjoying creating with everyone here. BTS after that but there is a lot of stress in that space in general and on twt.

I am the Director of Advertising and Digital Marketing for an MLB team. I will let you wonder which club, my only hint is that it is typically a household name. I am about to start my fourth season in baseball :)

I want to be an author so bad. It's always been my dream to write and publish fantasy novels, but my job is so demanding I've never figured out how to dedicate time to trying to do that.

Impressions - I am weirdly good at them. Other random talents... archery. I can sing moderately well. And I can type really fast.

Math and science - math because I've struggled with it, science because I had a science teacher who bullied me so much that I had to be removed from her class.

It's pretty difficult to REALLY upset me like it takes a lot for me to really crash out, even though I joke that I'm crashing out all the time. I'm also a really good problem solver.

WHAT'S YOUR WORST CHARACTER TRAIT?

I am insanely hard on myself. Like to a serious detriment, I never let myself breathe or fail at anything and talking me down from failure is super difficult because I never want to hear it.

I just worked a split squad spring training game from a state that we are NOT playing in and it was very difficult to do remotely. I would have loved not to do that.

OMORI MLB AU MASTERPOST (might change)

Hi! I'm @tosteur-gluteal and this is a masterpost for my au, the OMORI MLB AU! You can check out the content for that au in the #omori mlb au tag!!

What is the OMORI MLB AU?

It is an alternative universe I've created as a joke, but it slowly turned into a legitimate AU of mine where Sunny and Basil from the video game OMORI are superheroes, specifically Ladybug and Chat Noir from the TV show Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir.

What is the setting?

It takes place in Paris, at the same time as the Miraculous Origin episode. But instead of Marinette and Adrien, the heroes are Sunny and Basil. Master Fu was in a hurry, you see... He had to choose a new guardian for the Miracle Box, and happened to stumble across a male nurse. Sunny and Basil go to a private school, as well as the Faraway kids, except here they're french and Parisian. It would be a school that's similar to the one in the Miraculous movie; very fancy.

Sunny's name isn't "Sunny"?

No, his full name is Kiyomu Fua Suzuki! He is French and Chinese (mom's side) and Japanese (dad's side). Very unusual combo. Sunny is a nickname.

What are the names of the heroes?

Ladybug for Sunny (He just chose the name of the animal his miraculous is tied to) and Catmint for Basil (He wanted to be called Stranger but the public just unanimously chose to call him Catmint so it stuck)

No! In this cannon, he grieved like a normal person would. Also he won't appear in that au sorry lol

Who is the main villain?

The main villain... Is Sunny's dad! Ukon Suzuki, an overworked game designer. Shocking, amarite?

Aubrey and Kel go to the same school as Sunny and Basil. Kel becomes friends with Sunny very quickly (he's kind of the Alya of this au) and Aubrey bullies Basil... Thankfully, it becomes more bearable for Basil as soon as he becomes friends with Sunny. ..And yes they'll get miraculouses Omori is a sentibeing! It was decided in this post that Omori's amok should be a rubber bracelet.

What is Catmint|Basil and Ladybug|Sunny's dynamic?

Sunny and Basil are best friends, but Basil has a crush on Sunny. Ladybug and Catmint are colleagues, but Ladybug has a crush on Catmint. By extension, Catmint has a crush on Sunny and vice-versa (see that funny date drawing)

At least, that's the status quo at the beginning of the story!

Yes!! It's in the making! It's gonna take some time though, since I have another AU called OMOFALLS that takes a lot of work too.

About the Playlist?

There is a playlist for the MLB, but don't expect it to make much sense yet TwT. These are the songs that I listen to when working on my au. BUT! I think the songs that represent it the most are this cover and this remix of Tokio Funka by Takamatt; as well as HERO by Ayase/YOASOBI.

The amount of hate I’m seeing in Twt for Caitlin is crazyyyy but the thing is no one is saying anything about it. No one is speaking against the hate that she’s receiving both on and off the court. Yet still she is expected to defend some the very same people who have blatantly tried to bully her. She has denounced the trolls, nothing happened. Is she suppose to do it everyday?? This is sports! It happens with every single sport but they never ask the men to do speak out. Do you know the amount of hate Lebron and Steph get???? What you don’t see is them going back and forth with fans on sm for it. Especially on Twitter!! Twitter is literally a right wing cesspool. Professional athletes should know better than to try and fight people over there or even read the tweets. The league needs media training because this is what comes with gaining FANATICS. CC does not highlight her threats and hate messages (many of which we have all seen) there are posts attacking her looks, her sexuality, they leaked images of her, I’ve seen public death threats, hell she had to get a fan removed from the court. She still does not complain in the media about it because the more you bring it up is the louder those people become because they realize they are getting to you. Also to call them all cc fans or fever fans is a stretch that is not the real fan base.

When CC was being attacked on court and in the media analysts were saying you can’t let a few bad eggs define the league and say she’s getting hate from the whole league….. well …. Why are Twitter trolls labeled as all fever/CC fans???

The hypocrisy is upsetting and I hope she keeps her head down and keeps doing her. MLG offered her a job MLB offered her a job in the off season my girl is booked and busy. I pray for her mental health, happy she has family and friends and teammates who hold her down because I’m not even holding it together seeing all this.

I think as a CC fan you just have to remember that at the end of the day she's happy and really successful. She loves her life and her job, she's not hurting, she doesn't let the mean comments get to her so we shouldn't either. Caitlin has such a great support system around her and I know she's well cared for and that's good enough for me
