{¤} Pigsy's eyes study the wooden carving MK had made for him as an unspoken Father's Day gift not long ago, the gift bittersweet with this newfound revelation.

MK obviously sees Pigsy, Tang, AND Sun Wukong as father figures...but knowing Sun Wukong is MK's ancestor, if not his biological father, seems to change things. MK has looked up to Sun Wukong for his entire life—Pigsy must feel lackluster as a parental figure now, right?

Carefully placing the wooden figure behind protective glass, Pigsy steels his nerves and goes to MK's room to try and talk to him. He knocks to alert MK of his arrival, then opens the door and takes a seat next to MK as he ponders what to say. He really should've rehearsed this first, shouldn't he?

"So...I heard you're a descendant of THE Sun Wukong. That must be excitin!"

Pigsy feigns a smile, though the words cut his tongue like a knife. They're slowly crushing his heart as they repeat in his head, eyes turning glossy in response. His head turns away from MK, praying these emotions have somehow evaded his notice. The last thing MK needs is to feel guilty over this.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'll always be Dad—THERE. I'll always be there for you...this ain't gonna change how I see you, kiddo."

Damn it, this is going so poorly...how is Pigsy screwing up this much? Would've it been better if he just minded his business and let MK dealt with this on his own?

No...that feels wrong. Pigsy has an obligation to talk to MK about it as his self-appointed father figure. If only he could tackle this with more grace.

"So, uh...yeah. Sorry if this is too much right now but I...I thought this was important to talk about." {¤}

I'll have to show this to my nephew! He's a leftie, and Kenshi is his favorite MK character after Bi-Han! 🙌🏽

GUYS! KENSHI IS A LEFTIE!!

Since the first time i saw Kenshi, i always thought it is so weird that he carries his sword by his left shoulder. Then a thought crossed my mind and i went and rewatched the Story Mode to confirm my theory.

Nine times Kenshi does things with his left while it is four times with his right. (We don't account Game Mode here and i only counted the times Kenshi purposedly does something)

A huge indicator that Kenshi is a leftie is that he always holds his sword in his left. You wouldn't hold your weapon in your nondominant hand when you're about to fight.

He gestures more with his left

He picks up things with his left

He even offers his left hand to shake! Who even does that?

Another small detail i noticed is that when Kenshi does fist-in-hand salute, he has his right hand over his other, which is the way women usually do in chinese culture. You can see Raiden is properly doing the salute here.

It can be that fact that Kenshi is not very familiar with chinese etiquette, but what i think is that he fisted the hand that was natural to him, being his left.

This explains why Kenshi has his sword by his left shoulder and draws it with his left hand. You might say but Johnny also has Sento by his left too but let me tell you, Johnny doesn't know a shit about swords and even when he wields it, he has it in his right hand!!!

Therefore, Kenshi Takahashi is left-handed. Thank you. *mic drop*

You guys know MK will like… kill people. Right? You guys know that he’s not a blubbering little baby who insists on “being the bigger person” even in the face of everything he loves being destroyed??

And he has directly killed someone before.

Because she was threatening to destroy the world and kill his friends?

You guys know MK likes fighting. Right? MK from the very start has enjoyed fighting. Still enjoys fighting. Has always loved beating the tar out of his enemies. In the Calabash episode, one aspect of his “perfect life” was a very notable panel of the entire Demon Bull Family beaten to a pulp and sidelined- explicitly told to him that he was responsible for driving them away. Because MK liked fighting from the start.

You guys know that MK; who only starts having reservations about this behavior in season five, enjoys being violent. Right?

So much so that he threw Azure through Flower Fruit Mountain long after he had beaten him into degradation, even though he had dozens of other targets to aim at?

You guys do realize that MK was entirely in control of himself during this sequence, and was choosing all his actions?

And he chose to hurt Azure as bad as possible in revenge for being deceived?

You guys understand that he’s not like… a little blubbering baby who runs off to throw tantrums when he engages with basic violence? That MK understands that sometimes fighting is necessary and won’t fall apart the second he learns that people sometimes have to settle things physically?

You guys understand that MK has never held the use of violence against anyone, and has never blamed his friends or family or mentor for needing to engage in violence to protect themselves and their loved ones, right?
