This might be considered a hot take in the pro/comship community, but someone has to say it.

It's okay to be disgusted by some things. It's okay to disagree. It's okay to be absolutely revolted that someone could think of some things.

Here's an example: Mizuki Akiyama. I can't stand people who see her as anything but transfem. Idc if it's nonbinary, mtf, or any type of variant - I think it's ridiculous.

I think it proves that so many people lack media literacy, that they can't stand the idea of minorities having representation. It's so obvious that she's trans, esp with her 5th focus event having just come out. It pisses me off in ways I cannot describe, because her experience is so accurate to the trans and just overall queer experience.

Guess what? It's okay that I think that. It's okay that I'm mad. It's okay that I want NOTHING to do with those people.

You know what isn't okay? To harass them. It's not okay to wish death upon people over fiction. Yes, this applies to ships as well.

To be proship is to be many things, but one of them is anti harassment. Unlike other labels, you have to fit that criteria to be proship. Learn to block, or get out of our community.

I do not think Rin fes is 100%

Just think about it, all the characters should be getting their 6th lim by the end of the year, and len and KAITO are both missing mmj and niigo lims. However, 3/4 of mmj are capped and I highly doubt Airi would get yet another lim so mmj Len/KAITO can’t happen. So, imo it could be Rin in the perm mix, Len bloomfes, vbs Rin at the end of October and niigo KAITO at the end of November

Also, I doubt it’s An banner because it’d mean that 3/4 of VBS already have their 3rd mixed event whilst all of wxs and niigo still have 2. And if it’s just An lim (but not focus), it’d mean that Toya would have to be the focus for 5th anniversary. But I think it’s unlikely that they’d give him a 4th mixed event by next year, so it should be Toya anni4 and An anni5

So basically I think it’s Nene focus, Saki/Shiho, Toya, Ena/Mizuki and Rui/Len bloomfes

Yea I kinda realised after I said that that Len and Kaito need lims too. As I said you can put An on the October or November lim events and slap Rin on there too (she can't get a leoneed lim until the other units are closer to finishing their vsinger lims. Presumably). Kaito can get his lim on New Years at latest and Len can go up to February, so if clpl wanted they could do Rui/Kaito fes and then stretch Len to White Day to complete the boys Wday cards (ignoring that he already has a 2* because devs clearly don't mind giving more than one holiday card to a character provided that they don't have two 4*s for that holiday). Alternatively Rui/Len fes and stretch Kaito to new years, but if they do that I think Kaito is more likely for either NY fes or again the October or November event (it's probably a Saki event, adding Mafuyu makes the lineup partially the same as last year, and adding Airi partially reuses a lineup that's been used in 3 other mixed events).

And yeah you're right about An, so it's most likely a Nene banner (Shiho/Toya/Ena rateup) unless they decide Ichika didn't count and make it Shiho based on her comment about there being a music festival soon in WLE (probably not).

as of oct 12, mizuki’s 5th focus event is out on jp. without spoiling too much, i just want to tell every mizuki out there— you’re so loved. your transness does not and will not change what your friends think about you, i’m absolutely sure they will love you just as much as always. you are so so much more than your gender and what your idiot classmates who have no clue what they’re talking about think of you. and personally i’m so proud of your bravery in wanting to come out.

we may not have known each other that well despite being schoolmates (and having a mutual friend in rui) but you’re wonderful, you’re super beautiful and intelligent, and you have a wonderful heart. don’t let the pain of this event damper your spirits, i know everything is gonna turn out okay in the end. you and niigo will always need each other, it’ll never be complete without you.

mizu5 - warning it's LONG and the quality of the images are shitty

Mizuki’s 5th focus ended months ago. Despite that, it was (and still is) a significant and impacting event, similar to the “What lies behind, what lies ahead” event (also a Mizuki focus). I’ll start by explaining that and give you a bit of background.

In  “What lies behind what lies ahead”, Mizuki feels unable to connect with and get closer to the members of Nightcord. In the cards, while both Ena and Mizuki are Hermits, Mizuki's Hermit is inverse, which flips the meaning from searching to concealment. The cards are also flipped, with Mizuki facing right and Ena facing left. Ena is searching for Mizuki, and Mizuki is hiding from Ena. 

In episode 2, after celebrating that their newest song blew up, the group runs into An, who’s been friends with Mizuki since middle school. Ena asks what Mizuki was like at school, and before An can answer, Mizuki cuts her off nervously. “H-Hey, Ena~ Why’re you asking this out of the blue?!”, after this, Ena replies that she’s always teasing her, so she wanted to ‘get some dirt’ on her too. Mizuki gets anxious about what An would say, but thankfully, she doesn’t reveal anything, saying that she’s a ‘free spirit’. In episode 3, Mizuki thinks about revealing her secret to N25, but she quickly pushes the thought down as flashbacks of her past (bullying her for who she was after she changed) pop up. In episode 8, Ena confronts Mizuki about her behaviour. Ena then says “If you ever feel like you want to confide in me, go ahead. I can wait until then.” “I’ll wait forever if I have to.” Mizuki lies about being okay, and asks Ena to wait for her to reveal what’s been on her mind. “Honestly, I haaate waiting, but I’ll do it just for you.”

Mizuki then says “I lied to her just now. I mean, if I never tell her the truth, I might be able to stay with her forever.” 

The event ends there, with Mizuki hiding a secret.

Back to Mizu5, “Where does the path of thorns lead to?”

Mafuyu manages to connect with her dad, and this makes Mizuki want to move forward too. She doesn’t want to run away anymore, she wants to tell Ena the truth. Kamiyama High School (the school where Ena and Mizuki go to) is preparing its annual culture festival. Mizuki decides to tell Ena after the festival. After Nightcord does all the festival events, it’s sunset (the sunset detail is important here, as in "What lies behind, what lies ahead", Ena's confrontation of Mizuki is also on the rooftop at sunset) and Mizuki asks Ena to meet on the rooftop. However, Mizuki gets called by another classmate to help them since a student from her class got hurt, so she tells Ena to wait for her on the rooftop. Whilst Ena’s waiting for Mizuki, 3 students also enter. They confront Ena, asking her about Mizuki. Student A asks Ena if she’s a guy too, which confuses her. Ena asks what they mean, and Student A replies with “…No, that’s why I’m sayin’ my bad. I was thinking you were an ordinary girl--“ and mentions that Mizuki ‘isn’t hiding it after all’, this confuses Ena even further. She puts the pieces together and realises that Mizuki is transgender (she was a boy, and now she’s a girl). Mizuki enters the rooftop as if on cue, having heard everything, and episode 7 ends there. In episode 8, we get a notification in-game before it starts, saying “After this story, Mizuki Akiyama will not appear in the [Real World] temporarily. Are you all right with proceeding?”.

Mizuki runs away from Ena crying, and Ena chases after Mizuki. Once she catches up, Mizuki starts mentioning how she should’ve said it earlier and how she knows that Ena wasn’t judging her for her identity, she was just surprised. Mizuki then says “I’m sure, starting from tomorrow too, you’d talk to me as if nothing happened...! Kanade too… and Mafuyu too…! I’m sure they’ll just say [so that’s how it was]…! They’ll work, like the usual, as if it were natural…! And that on the next day, and the next day, and the next day, everyone, won’t ever change — you’d… ‘have me think’ that…! That’s, just everyone’s… kindness… The truth is, it’s warm, and I’m sure it’s really… a good thing…! But… but!! To me, for that kindness to end up being born within everyone — I can’t help but… hate that!!” Mizuki then pushes Ena away, saying: “…….Sorry. For not talking about it this whole time… Sorry. For not facing you — sorry.” and after this, Mizuki runs away, leaving Ena to call out to her. Episode 8 ends.

In-game, after you finish this episode, Mizuki doesn’t appear in the real world anymore. She rarely appears in the sekai. Ena doesn’t tell any of the members of Nightcord what happened. 

This whole event is a direct parallel to the “Secret Distance” event. In “Secret Distance”, Mizuki moves forward, embracing her identity. In “Where does the path of thorns lead to?”, she’s distancing and isolating herself from N25. 

These are both in the same room. In the first image, it’s bright and cute, and it shows an unfinished dress. The second image is darker, but it’s the same room. This shows what the finished dress looks like, minus the red pieces. Mizuki has her eyes covered, showing that despite her secret being revealed, she’s still running away, afraid to confront it. It’s stripped of its cute and pink identity, leaving shades of dull blues and greys instead.

In “Bake no Hana”, Mizuki’s 5th focus song, she doesn’t sing with anyone apart from KAITO (Virtual Singer), this is also similar to “IDSMILE”, Mizuki’s 1st focus song, where she doesn’t sing with anyone but MEIKO, showing how although she moved forward, she’s been keeping them at arm’s length for a long time. In “Bake no Hana”, Ena also doesn’t sing with anyone apart from KAITO, which shows her confusion toward everything and her focus on finding Mizuki, especially because she’s off-beat in one part of the song. The song is 1:59 long, just one second away from 2:00. It’s done that way deliberately to show how she doesn’t want 25:00 (1 am) to end or for the group to disband (Nightcord at 25) because of her secret (it’s fear).

i am still interested!!!! i think they handled the writing much better than i expected bc you don't usually expect a lot of nuanced writing from school life gacha games, which is a good thing bc the topic theyre trying to handle this time is very sensitive

its also a huge surprise that they left it on a cliffhanger as i really wanted mizuki to be happy finallyyyyyy 😭😭😭

Every single time someone posts a 4th anni and Bloomfes prediction I die inside a little because something is usually off.

So welcome to my final anni prediction that I've been cooking for the past month and an explanation of my reasoning behind one or two minor massive things

The lineup (IF colorful palette stops chucking curveballs straight at our skulls this year) is going to most likely be An, Shiho, Airi, Ena, and Nene. This is assuming that leaders for anniversary are an every other year thing, and that members of 2nd anniversary cannot have a repeat appearance.

The only character that can possibly be contested is Ena, as Mizuki isn't entirely off the table, just unlikely with the likelyhood of Mizu5 being the next N25 event. (Mizuki being there instead of Ena would also fix the "issue" of this lineup being almost identical to 2.5 anniversary, with the only difference being L/N Miku being swapped for Airi, but eh.)

Now, that's the known part at this point. What people cannot decide on relatively unanimously is who tf is the 3 star. I've seen some people argue on the 3 star being Airi since she just had a lim focus not that long ago, but in my opinion:

The 3 star will most likely be Nene. This is because, if we look at the anniversaries past, the 3 star for an anniversary has been from the unit that gets the focus next anniversary. Anni1 had Kanade as a 3 star, and Anni2 was Mafuyu focus. Honami was the 3 star for Anni2, and Anni3 was Ichika focus. Obviously, this doesn't mean a pattern yet. But it's safe to assume that with Kohane as the 3 star for 3rd anniversary, 4th anniversary is going to be a VBS focus (Unfortunate I know, VBS fans can't catch a break)

So, why does that mean Nene is going to be the 3 star?

If we follow the pattern of the 3 star being from the same unit as the next anniversary's focus member, and assume that An is in fact the 4th anniversary focus, that means the only unit that will be without a focus for anniversary will be WxS. So ultimately, Nene will be the 3 star. (Additionally, if anniversaries are in fact alternating between leaders and non-leaders on lineup, that would mean 5th anniversary would be a Tsukasa focus. Not important to this, just something I find interesting.)

Bloom festival is a whole other clusterfuck. Rin and Rui are in desperate need of a lim, with Rin's last being from Let Your Song Resound, and with Rui's last being from Pandemonium. Rin is going to be on the banner as Bloomfes. One question comes to mind, though…

Will they let an OC be on an anni's banner as a fes card???? The only other time that's happened was 1st anniversary, with Miku and Ichika as colorful festival. The other two had Miku/Luka with Anni2 And KAITO/MEIKO for Anni3. So…it's ultimately unclear. The first Bloomfes being KanaMEI does give me hope that RinRui is possible, but there's truly no way to be sure.

y'know the girl in the gif i sent you? yeah that's mizuki akiyama and she's transfem and in a recent update to her game(specifically a new event story--commonly dubbed mizu5 since it's her 5th focus event. also side note the entire fandom and even some people OUTSIDE of the fandom have been losing their shit since they first caught wind of this) she just got outed by her bullies (in the most transphobic way possible) to her friend who she'd been slowly working up the courage to tell for ages. said friend(who is named ena shinonome) took a while to figure out what the bullies meant but wasn't being unaccepting but mizuki overheard this wholw situation and read ena's expression as disgust and ran off before ena could explain

and to make matters worse mizuki's straight up just not appearing in the world anymore and she's lost ALL the sparkle in her eyes. also like multiple of the things she's done(don't think i've mentioned them here) could be considered metaphors for suicide so that's fun

tl;dr: pink girl in the gif got forcibly outed to her friend and is not ok for the forseeable future and everybody everywhere is losing their shit over this
