子供の頃のロンドンで楽しかったのは、父が仕事をしている間に母と行った、様々な博物館と美術館巡りだった。無料公開されている大英博物館は、イギリス帝国支配が世界の隅々にまで行き渡っていることを子供ながらに実感させてくれたし、私は夏休みの宿題でエジプトのミイラや北ナイル南ナイル統一の象徴としてのピラミッド建設、猫などのペットや赤ちゃんのマミーのmummificationまで、様々な断片をまとめて小4の夏休みの宿題とした事など、兎に角、大英博物館にはお世話になったっけ。展示室の常時展示品を見ると、子供の頃と展示が同じ場所も少なからずあり、懐かしくなる。

モアイ像って意外に薄っぺらい。。。と感動。そりゃ倒れているものが多くたって仕方ないはずだ。インドのシバ神の終わりのないダンスと火車と、それが象徴する時間。そして驚いた事に、三菱グループが日本フロアを開いていた。東京駅の三菱財閥の美術館コレクションから、選んで持ってきているのだろう。自在物と呼ばれる、明治以降、職にあぶれた刀剣職人が作った生物の写し達が、数点展示されており、感動した。根付もかなりのコレクションが展示されているが、それらは大英帝国博物に寄贈されらイギリス人収集家によるものらしい。珍しいものでは、男女のカミの面が展示されていた。神楽で使うものだが、江戸時代までは、カミは人間に憑依して、事ある毎に、普通の日常的な日本人たちと会話をしていたのだ。明治以降、カミは天皇権威のため封印され、カミと一般人の交流の機会が閉ざされていく。

残念ながら、日本でもそうだが、博物館職員というのは一般的にアホである。折角展示しているモノ達のつながりが、彼らには見えない。一点一点の歴史について知っていても、日本の全体は浮かび上がらない。日本人であることを、大げさに喋っていた、この世も末。。。と感じさせられる、イギリス人達と来ている日本人数名に遭遇する。武士とはかけ離れた平民の、軽いノリの刀剣説明や、イギリス人に儒教と仏教との兼ね合いについて聞かれて、そもそもConfucianが儒教と理解できたとしても、その深淵な関係について全く無知な無教養な人々。それが、今の日本の教養レベルであること。情けないなぁと思いつつ、最近思うのが、多分大卒の内、九割は就職目当て大卒である日本を思うと、明治以前と明治以降、教養のある人々の人口割合なんて、常に低位安定一割以下なんだろうなぁとも思う。

大英博物館を入ってすぐのキノコみたいな階段の、私はおばあちゃんと一緒に来た大学生時代は、右回りで登ったこと。おばあちゃんは健脚だったなぁと、色々と断片的な記憶が蘇る。Kensington Gardenを横切るようにしてLancaster Gateまでお散歩した。草花や木々の香りが、無性に懐かしく、涙が自然と頬をつたう。おかえりなさいって、木々が草花が、風にそよがれながら、歌ってくれた。香りの記憶とは、海馬の一番古い部分に格納されているらしいが、私は、この香りがとてもとても懐かしい。そして、子供の頃からそうなのだが、何故か、帰ってきたと感じるのだ。前世に、住んでいたのだろう。間違いなく。

ロンドンバスはデザインを変え、公衆電話ボックスの数も減り、Leicester SquareもPiccadilly Circusも��変し、分かるのは変わらず立っている像だけで、ロンドン三越の跡地なんかわからないし、アカスキュータム本店はとっくに閉鎖しているし、なんだか場末の新宿三丁目みたいになっているロンドンの旧繁華街。昔、貧しかった人々がお金を持って、彼らが見たかった世界がこれなのだとしたら、イギリスらしさもイギリスのエレガントさも全て消滅している。でも、日本も同じだ。世界中、どの街も、互いを見合いながら享楽的に荒廃の一途を辿っているようだ。多様性を内包するということは、ならず者を受け入れる隙間を作るという事であり、そうする為には、荒廃させるのが手っ取り早いのだろう。

ロンドンを歩いていて驚くのは、左��を歩くロンドンっ子の少なさである。EUに加盟している間に、ロンドンは左側通行は車だけの規範になってしまったようだ。それも悲しい。ロンドンだけが、私にとっては歩きやすい街だったのに、ロンドンもドイツと同じ、歩行者は右側通行なのだ。。。たまに、左側通行の白人を見かけると、あーこの人々だけが、本当のロンドンっ子なんだなぁと実感する。それにしても中国人とインド人だらけで、ロンドンにいる気がしない。ロンドンの姿をしたディズニーランドにいる気分。

They do sell these kids but it's by the thousands I'm trying to sell them and make more. They go to shows and they have a product line and you can tell that they're existing cars it's a Ferrari it's a Ford GT it's a Porsche I can't tell it's a Dodge brand new truck and several hot rods. For real they don't have any sales now and they're not going to shows we know why it's because they're busy doing other things. But there's a lot of people that need to be doing something and they want jobs and people need to work and we can't stand it anymore we're going to open factories and they're going to be forward and Chevy Dodge Chrysler GMC GM Pontiac and more and all over the world their brands Toyota and Mitsubishi and Nissan in elsewhere Chinese version and kia all these companies are reopening shortly. In the meantime we're shipping cars and trucks and bikes out like madness and we're going to start putting chassis and bodies together but out in the perimeter and our son said that's the best idea and we said it's a great idea and we're going ahead and prepping to do to get loads ready and we have been and we've been storing them out there in store safe facilities and we're going to open factory shortly in our areas and we came up with this idea cuz nothing else is working our people will be working there other people are going to be allowed to work there and requested to and we hope to Branch out and make regular factories for people to have lives with we are opening 400 factories in the USA and that is this coming week and it's factories of all different kinds mostly necessities and we're starting with that and we're going to see how that goes I'm sure we have to defend it because people are lunatics everybody wants something for doing nothing but being a lunatic suicidal freak and mostly it doesn't work in any way these days everybody gets shot doing it and people know it we're going to open about 10,000 and that would be the Monday following this week or Tuesday and those include a lot of Auto industry heavy industry machinery and more and we're going to open a few pug Mills and things like that and we don't want a storm to hit here on the several storms that are offshore they're dying off but the clones swear that they're going to start them up again once the ships are out the Max and the McDonald's and Us in foreigners have a plan to move them off and we're going to fall through and it seems like we move several of them and there are few fives those are up north now they're in the Atlantic and the one above is a five and one goes to Singapore and devastates the place one goes up to DC and ruins an area and it's not Jersey believe it or not it's north of DC and one goes to South Africa one goes to the moon and it's on the movie and one goes to New Mexico and it gets stolen somehow and not from Africa it gets taken while it's sitting in New Mexico doing nothing

And the clones abandon it like the one in Africa and that one gets taken too and they say they're encouraging it but they're not so we know they get moved off per the movies but we're going to make sure it happens. And it is the clones. But these factories are going to go forwards and we are going to stop these maniacs and they will not have a fleet shortly because a lot of people want those big ships to clone on and they are going up there to fight them the warlock fleet is forming up and there are some Star blazers in it that's 400 million ships and they're planning on preaching and they're going to try and reach the very large Stone ships and they've been waiting it's going to take a lot of effort but that's what they're up to and they eventually get some each and they have like this ongoing War and right now they're having a war in the Carolinas no but eventually it starts this is going to happen shortly and it is a huge deal and it is going to be a gigantic change in atmosphere this place is going to change because the clones are going to be busy doing something else trying to survive and it is going to be very soon so stay tuned and right now they're a huge noises coming from the North country and they're gigantic we think that they're prepping they're not going to blow it like they were before they might but they have a different system and people are interested it's going to be all these pieces on things it's about 10 miles thick no it's only a couple miles of crust the rest has been put into tubes it's going on very soon and yeah Giants are up there summer 50 miles snow the biggest turd about 20 which is very very big 20 mi a person is huge but it's taking a lot of work and it's about 3 days and they're doing it on each hole all the same time did a bunch of Giants and giant robots about 3 million total all of them are needed and they're getting ready to go

We're getting ready to go too and I can't believe it we suck but we're getting to go up there to do the job and a friend here is helping us with it and it has worked and I'll tell you we've been kind of mean but we see what he's doing he's trying to keep things going while we're busy fighting each other to whatever end and he said it's not impressive it's disgusting and it's addiction and it doesn't do anything for you and it's not impressive but we can't stop doing it this might do something it says so we're going to try it my food company is taking off and I'm planning on putting together something for the grocery stores, and it is like Mimi's but it's more like Marie callender's and people love it but really I put more food in you don't get enough to eat ever with practically anything and the ones with all those pastas just pasta it doesn't hit the spot and we're moving on but really the weight is weight you can't eat anything less than a couple pounds you're going to waste away to nothing real quick and everybody knows it and these are edible and people say it and his mom says it and and I said it's named after you and he helped with the name and she got really teary-eyed and she said she wants to advertise. Also I looked at her and I said I didn't do it on purpose and he's and his her son I guess the other one said he didn't do it on purpose either. USS BUNKER HILL (CV-17) on fire after being hit by two Kamikazes within 30 seconds.

"On the morning of May 11, 1945, while supporting the invasion of Okinawa, Bunker Hill was struck and severely damaged by two Japanese kamikaze planes. A Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter plane piloted by Lieutenant Junior Grade Seizō Yasunori emerged from low cloud cover, dove toward the flight deck and dropped a 550-pound (250 kilogram) bomb that penetrated the flight deck and exited from the side of the ship at gallery deck level before exploding in the ocean. The Zero next crashed onto the carrier’s flight deck, destroying parked warplanes full of aviation fuel and ammunition, causing a large fire. The remains of the Zero went over the deck and dropped into the sea. Then, a short 30 seconds later, a second Zero, piloted by Ensign Kiyoshi Ogawa, plunged into its suicide dive. The Zero went through the antiaircraft fire, dropped a 550-pound bomb, and then crashed into the flight deck near the carrier’s “island”, as kamikazes were trained to aim for the island superstructure. The bomb penetrated the flight deck and exploded in the pilot’s ready room. Gasoline fires flamed up and several explosions took place.

Bunker Hill lost a total of 346 sailors and airmen killed, 43 more missing (and never found), and 264 wounded. Among the casualties were three officers and nine enlisted men from Mitscher’s staff. The admiral relinquished command by visual signal; he and his remaining staff were transferred by breeches buoy to USS English (DD-696) and then to USS Enterprise (CV-6), which became the flagship. The bomb carried by the second kamikaze penetrated to the pilots’ ready room, and 22 members of VF-84 lost their lives in the attack.

Bunker Hill was heavily damaged but was able to steam at 20 knots to Ulithi, where the Marine pilots of VMF-221, who had been aloft during the kamikaze attack and were diverted to other carriers, rejoined their ship The carrier returned home by way of Pearl Harbor, and was sent to the Bremerton Naval Shipyard for repairs. She was still in the shipyard when the war ended in mid-August 1945.”
