The snowflakes danced outside the window, painting a serene picture. The dorm lounge was adorned with twinkling lights, and a sprig of mistletoe hung delicately from the ceiling, unnoticed by either of them.

Mitsuru glanced up from her mug of hot cocoa, her eyes meeting Kotone's. A warm smile curved on her lips as she noticed the mistletoe above them, eyes looking up with wonder.

"Mistletoe... so it's an age-old tradition centered around... people kissing?" She can't say she understood it, but what she did understand was that the idea itself was tempting. Her girlfriend was sure to be ecstatic about kissing her properly at last. Though her heart was beating, the Empress nodded to herself.

"W-well then... I suppose I should... do this." Blushing deeply, the redhead leaned in to place a nervous, but somewhat firm kiss on the Fool's lips, taking hold of her chin as well. After a few seconds, she pulled away.

"How was that for our first real kiss...?"

irredeamable development retrospective. Part 1.5: capitalism IN SPACE This one part will tackles an alternate setting for the Specter game we spoke of last time. It may even have come first in the development timeline, through it can be a bit difficult to determine exactly how and when ideas shifted so lets not worry about what actually came first. Much like shadow and light, this game was about a specter, possessing people, but just as the title says, the setting was more of a space-faring adventure where you would visit multiple planets.

It features much of the same races as shadows and light, though their exact appearance has shifted a bit, as everything would in a different setting.

Depicted here, we have Mars, a frozen desert planet with large scale mining operations and a bit of a western vibe. Humans and mitons are the main races here and were given stout figures and thick coat to fit the cold yet dry weather. Venus is now overgrown with a rich, volcanic jungle where countless comic plant are being grown and harvested. This planet is mainly occupied by goblin employees who take the place of the succubus from last game. Mercury was hollowed out and turned into a giant energy powerplant, with a massive solar panel attached to one side. Earth ...well i dont think i ever did figure out what to do with it. Its kind of just another mining planet. and finally we have the alien mothership. The home base of a group of invading alien corporations from the Alpha Centauri system. ....yes i know what it looks like, but its actually supposed to be based on their system having 3 stars (2 large and 1 small)

Aniway, the Centaurian species consists of long-lived and hyper-intelligent giant squid. Their technology is very advanced, especially in domains of communication, space travel and artificial life. Many of their servants (which i think included the goblins) are bioweapons that were specifically crafted to integrate into local populations and perform whichever jobs were needed for the growth of the company. There was never much of an actual story, so all i really got left are some blueprints of the solar system, now converted into some kind of space construct for the Centaurians to exploit.

Aniway, thats it for today, but next time we`ll be leaving all those specters behind and move into yet another setting. One that is not quite so cosmic, but instead rather....toweresque... To be continued in part 2: Ascending the Godlands

Raul was watching TV, when suddenly an ad appeared on TV where he urged all the boys and girls to wish their parents a good day, since today was Father's Day, so Raul stood up as best he could. that they had put some mittens on Raul, since lately he has been sucking his thumb a lot, even when they told him not to suck his thumb because he almost spent a lot of time on the floor watching TV, so that's why they put the mittens on him But well, Raul went to his daddy's studio where he was working on something, but on the way to the studio, Raul peed in his diaper. When he arrived with his daddy, Raul told him.

raul: daddy.

Raul's dad sees it and then tells him.

Raul's dad: yes, what happened my little angel.

raul: happy day daddy.

raul's daddy: oh thanks, and i think my little angel needs a change.

Then Raul's daddy gets up from his crate and goes to where his little one is, picks him up and takes him to his room where he changed his diaper.

raul estaba viendo la tele, cuando derepente en la tele aparecio un anuncio donde insitaba a los todos los niños y niñas, que le deseen un buen dia a sus papis, ya que hoy era dia del padre, asi que raul se paro como pudo ya que le habian puesto a raul unos mitones, ya que ultimamente a estado mucho chupandose el dedo, aun cuando le decian que no se chupara el dedo por que casi se la pasaba mucho en el piso viendo la tele, entonces por eso le pusieron los mitones, pero bueno raul fue hasta el estudio de su papi donde estaba trabajando en algo, pero en el camino al estudio raul se hizo pipi en su pañal, cuando llego con su papi raul le dice.

raul: papi.

el papi de raul lo ve y luego le dice.

papi de raul: si que paso mi angelito.

raul: feliz dia papi.

papi de raul: oh gracias, y creo que mi angelito necesita un cambio.

estonces el papi de raul se levanta de su asito y va a donde esta su pequeño lo carga y lo lleva hasta su cuarto donde le cambio su pañal.
